Seehotel Sissi am Zeller See

Ett fint och mysigt klassiskt Österrikiskt hotell. Bra utbud av frukost. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Hotellet låg max 10 meter ifrån järnvägen vilket gjorde att man hörde precis alla tåg som åkte förbi, dygnet runt. Att järnvägen låg precis utanför framgick inte i någon beskrivning eller karta. Vill man ha sömn om nätterna så får man tyvärr hitta ett annat boende med bättre läge. Vår dörr in till rummet krånglade så vi kunde inte låsa dörren inifrån, det resulterade i att en annan gäst klev in i vårt rum. Dock var dem väldigt hjälpsamma och löste så att det gick att låsa.

Gute Ausstattung und Frühstück ist ganz ok.

Die Bahn ist sehr laut und fährt sehr regelmäßig (auch nachts) direkt am Hotel vorbei. Wir konnten nur mit Fenster zu und Oropax schlafen..

Vriendelijk personeel, goed gelegen

Hotelkamer achterstallig onderhouden. Knipperende lampen, badkamer matig Trein komt nog al vaak langs, met redelijk veel geluid (raam open)

The staff is so accommodating. All is good except that is is near the train station. Where you can hear all trains coming even at night. Other than that all went well and we teally had a nice stay.

Gente del hotel muy amable y acogedora. Desayuno suficiente. Estuvimos en una habitación con vistas y balcón al lado. Lo recomiendo, precioso.

Lo único malo es que justo debajo del hotel, del lado del lado está la vida del tren que pasa cada 15 min. y casi que puedes saltar desde la habitación y montarte en él en marcha. Las ventanas del hotel tenían doble acristalamiento, pero el ruido del tren se oye. Tan sólo eso.

Parksituation in Zell am See - wenn wir wieder kommen, dann ohne Auto...

Lage des Hotels ist zentral aber man muss sich in klaren sein das ein schlafen mit offenen Fenster wegen des Zuglärmes unmöglich ist. Es sind nur 8 Parkplätze beim Hotel Check in per Self check in.

Kamer lag aan kant van meer. Hotel ligt in centrum.

Kamer ligt pal naast spoor. Veel lawaai waardoor raam ‘s nacht niet open kon. Geen airco waardoor het onaangenaam warm werd in de kamer. Parkeren in parkeergarage en slechte mogelijkheden om auto in- en uit te laden.

Excellent location and beautiful views, which were definitely the best aspects of my stay.

The rooms are very small and poorly soundproofed. It was extremely difficult to sleep because of the noise from passing trains, especially since there is no air conditioning and the windows cannot be kept closed comfortably. Free parking is also very limited, with only around 7 spaces for more than 20 potential guest cars. The breakfast buffet is very small, with limited variety and low-quality food.

Sehr geräumige Zimmer mit praktischer Ausstattung. In Fußnähe vom Strandbad und City Express. Restaurant und Gin-Bar sind TOP. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Keine Klima und bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen ist recht laut.

Das Hotel ist ähnlich einer Jugendherberge. Das Zimmer sehr klein, zu teuer. Für eine oder zwei Nächte ok.

Vores hund var ikke rigtig velkommen, Valte netop dette sted da de skrev at det var hundevenligt Vi skulle sætte "ikke forstyrre skilt på" da rengøringsdamen var bange for hund, så vi fik ikke gjort rent under vores ophold Der var en togbane lige ude foran vores altan og ingen aircon, man kunne ikke have døren åben om natten da det larmede for meget og der var for varmt at have den lukket...

Geen airco, als de trein langs kwam maakte dat veel geluid maar het was niet helemaal overheersend.

Výhled z okna sice na jezero, ale přímo pod okny je železniční trať. Doporučujeme v noci zavřít okna, jinak jste při každém průjezdu vlaku vzhůru.

La camera piccola non è piccola, e’ un tugurio. Letti microscopici. non c’è assolutamente posto per la valigia…Se la valigia è aperta praticamente non puoi uscire dalla stanza!!! Senza ascensore!!! Colazione basica.

A parkolás egy horror, sajnos nincs elég parkolóhely az udvarban, és a településen elég nehézkes a parkolás.

Nicht weit vom Zentrum. Das Zimmer war tip,tip. Auch beim Frühstück ist für jeden etwas dabei.

Die Bahngleise führen nahe am Hotel vorbei. Check in ist vor 15.00 Uhr nur an einem Automaten möglich.

Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk, de locatie is super, vlakbij het centrum en het meer. De trein dendert door de kamer, maar eigenlijk hebben we daar weinig last van gehad.

De accommodatie in het geheel is erg gedateerd. Ik miste op de kamer een grote spiegel en iets om op zijn minst een kop thee of koffie te kunnen maken. De handdoeken worden vanwege het milieu 1x per week vervangen. Hier kan ik achter staan, maar als je daar echt zo mee begaan bent, trek dan die lijn door en zorg dat je bij het ontbijt al die losse verpakkingen weglaat. Daar zijn tegenwoordig zeker mogelijkheden voor. Dat vind ik een gemiste kans.

No air conditioning and it was super hot. Opening window was out of the question as trains pass by very close, very loudly every 10 minutes, 24/7. Nights were nightmare. Coffee machine and even hot water were extra paid. Only during breakfasts were for free. They would go bankrupt providing free hot water for the tea. Or even caffe for guests.

The location was great, right next to the main swimming pool and lake side area. Our room had a balcony with great views of the lake and surrounding area & the Austrian alps in the distance. The breakfast was excellent as was the breakfast lady who was there every morning.

For the price the rooms were pretty basic, but probably reasonable for Zell am See. There is also a very busy Trainline right outside the hotel which runs all night - which meant we couldn’t have the windows open all night.

Es lag nahe am Strandbad, auch sonst Nahe zum Städtli resp. Nur 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof

Die Sauberkeit überzeugte nicht vollends und aus Schweizer Sicht hätte es einige Rennovationen nötig… Auch der Bahnlärm ist nicht zu unterschätzen (ÖBB hat neues Rollmaterial, aber die Räder sind zu wenig geschützt plus vermutlich fehlt es noch an den Schienen :-)). Es ist aushaltbar aber zu berücksichtigen. Was mich auch überraschte, aber generell glaubs AT, die Preise sind so hoch wie in der Schweiz (min. Was Hotel und Wohnung anbetrifft - beim Essen holen sie auch auf). Die vielen verschleierten Frauen fielen ebenso auf wie die Inder - min. Als Ostschweizer waren wir uns das nicht gewohnt. Es störte nicht, aber viel auf resp. Einmal im Restaurant war es schon unschön wie die via Video-Telefon lautstark unterhalten, schade.

Saubere Zimmer, schöne Aussicht, das Frühstück ist hervorragend.

Leider gibt es nur sehr wenige Parkplätze vor Haus. Man kann zwar vergünstigt in der Rathaus Garage parken. Aber wenn man öfters wegfährt ist es etwas mühsam immer zu hoffen ob vorm Haus ein Parkplatz frei ist oder nicht. Wenn man ein Zimmer mit Aussicht hat, sind leider die Züge, die ca. 10 Meter vorm Haus vorbei fahren, sehr laut.

Trångt och märklig utformning på rummen. Toalett i ett rum och dusch och handfat i ett annat. Ingen luftkonditionering. Tåget går förbi precis utanför och det hörs mycket. Parkering endast för ett fåtal bilar. Vi fick ställa bilen i parkeringshus en bit bort.

Exzellente Lage - vor allem wenn man nicht empfindlich in Bezug auf hin und wieder vorbeifahrende Züge ist. Bei Badewetter ist großartig, wie schnell man am Seeufer ist und noch dazu einen perfekten Einstieg zum Schwimmen hat - besser als manches Sternehotel!

Die Parkplatzsituation sollte man im Voraus bedenken - dann kommt man damit klar, dass es nicht automatisch einen Stellplatz für jedes Zimmer gibt. Und schade, dass das Hotel nicht am Programm der Gästekarte teilnimmt. Damit wären Seilbahnfahrten leichter.

Ens van donar una habitació molt, molt petita, tenia una finestra molt, molt petita. Vam haver de fer el chec in allí a la porta d’entrada, si no , no podíem entrar, no hi havia ningú per preguntar o poder- nos ajudar , estava tot tancat i barrat Al pàrquing de l’hotel només hi caven 7 cotxes i estava sempre ple, el pàrquing del carrer és zona blava i molt cara La via del tren passa a tocar de l’hotel per la qual cosa els trens se senten fortíssim i en passen molts. Si vas a l’hora punta a esmorzar, t’has d’esperar perquè no ni ha taules disponibles o has de compartir amb altres usuaris

Frukosten var jättebra! Rummet var stort och det fanns en bra garderob.

Jag betalade extra för ett familjerum med balkong och sjöutsikt. Vi fick rummet längst ner och kunde inte se sjön utan endast en tuja häck. Jag hade inte heller uppmärksammat att hotellet ligger angränsande till en tågräls.

We hadden een mooie kamer met meerzicht. Alles was binnen enkele minuten lopen. Zelf incheck systeem duurde even voordat ik het doorhad, maar in principe ook goed geregeld. Ontbijtdame heel aardig. Ontbijt was oke.

Weinig parkeerplaats in het hoogseizoen. Treinspoor ligt naast het hotel, dus deze hoor je wel. Wij waren zo moe dat we het ‘s nachts niet meer hoorden zelfs met het raam open.

La vista sul lago e la posizione comoda per chi arriva dalla ciclabile. In due minuti si arriva in centro a piedi. Abbiamo apprezzato anche la possibilità di lasciare le bici in un posto sicuro.

We had a good stay overall. The hotel has an excellent location right by the lake and within walking distance of the town center. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a good hotel with a great location and friendly staff, but there are a few details that could make the stay much better.

The breakfast was disappointing, with very limited variety. The hotel also does not provide the Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card, only the Guest Card and Salzburg Mobility Ticket. Another downside is that the hotel is very close to the railway, so you can hear trains if you sleep with the windows open. We also missed having complimentary water in the room on arrival, as well as a kettle or tea/coffee facilities. Coffee is free only during breakfast and paid for the rest of the day.

Die Nähe zum Strandbad und in die Innenstadt.

Die Lage war hervorragend, sowohl was die Anbindung ans Stadtzentrum als auch die Nähe zum Wasser (ca. 4 Minuten) betraf. Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel in ruhiger Umgebung. Ein sehr ausgezeichnetes und köstliches Frühstück.

Es gab keinen kleinen Kühlschrank oder Schreibtisch im Zimmer.

The location is great, rooms are spacious, and the people are nice

It’s a very bare bones no frills kind of place. Nothing really wrong but a sense that this is just a place to lay your head at the end of the day. Breakfast pretty average if not a little below average. Only black coffee available for free, cappuccino and the like are for sale. Hard to say though - hotels are expensive in this area, maybe this is more of a budget hotel and expectations should be lowered.

Location and view

My experience with the staff was disappointing. I found their approach to be overly strict and lacking flexibility. I was also concerned about privacy, as photos were taken of my room, our belongings, and the hallway outside while we were away, which made us feel uncomfortable. I believe customer privacy should be respected, and interactions with guests should be handled in a more welcoming and service-oriented manner. Overall, the level of customer service did not meet the expectations I have for a hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. One of the highlights was the beautiful mountain view, which made our mornings especially enjoyable. Even during the hot days, the indoor temperature remained comfortable without air conditioning, which was a nice surprise. The windows provided good sound insulation, so although there was a railway nearby, the passing trains were barely noticeable and never disturbed our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would gladly recommend this accommodation.

The hotel is right next to the railway tracks. In summer, there are no air conditioners and you can't open the windows because the train right outside the windows makes it impossible to sleep. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your suitcase up the stairs. The room is very small for four people, and there's basically no place to put your suitcase.

The room is Clean and tidy. But that's about it. The room's window is 30 meters from the railway track, and the noise and vibrations of the passing train is felt every 15-20 minutes. The toilet accessories are minimal, and the humidity without an air conditioner is harsh.. The mattress was broken in the middle. This is definitely not a place to recommend.

Zimmeraufteilung etwas merkwürdig, liegt aber wohl an dem alten Haus. Direkt neben dem Bahngleis; Züge hörbar aber nicht laut, hat beim schlafen nicht gestört. Gibt ein paar Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel, war aber voll, haben 30m weiter einen gefunden - gratis Parken am Wochenende.
