Really good location, the lake is about 2min walk, you can’t hear the train at all, breakfast was amazing, and lovely staff. Very clean and comfortable bed.

Location is perfect.

We booked the room with a view but it came with no view. It was a bit disappointing but the staff were so helpful and welcoming. Also, we enjoyed the view by hiking so did not need to sit on the balcony to view lake.

Sanne and Katrin provided my wife and myself a ground floor bedroom, because I have health issues and I was grateful for that. Both ladies are always wonderful hosts but on this our second visit, we were assisted by Sanne. We cannot speak highly enough of her. Everything was as arranged. The accommodation is close to trains and shops, the pool and Lake, the central bus stop for transport to the mountains and gorge etc Plently for families, adults and children to do. Salzburg State transport and Summercard make for exceptional value overall.

Breakfast can become a little cramped when busy, but otherwise they provide a good variety and nutritious start for the day. Still very good though and this review does not mean we disliked it, only, that it was perhaps the weakest link.

Parkování ve stylu kdo dřív přijede, ten parkuje. Všechny pokoje nemají zaručené parkovací místo.

Die Pension ist sehr gemütlich und beim Frühstück ist es fast wie eine kleine Familie. Beim Frühstück zaubert dir Lisa was das Ei so hergibt. Sie ist der SEHR GUTE GEIST des Hauses aber auch ALLE anderen waren sehr freundlich. Die Summercard ist obendrauf das Sahnehäubchen. Wir kommen sicher wieder einmal vorbei!

Die Besitzerinnen waren super nett und hilfreich. Zum Frühstück gab es immer eine Auswahl an frisch zubereiteten, lecker Eiern und ein tolles Buffet. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral, allerdings sind die Zimmer ruhig. Den Zug hört man kaum, er stört gar nicht. Das Zimmer war schön und gemütlich, ich habe dort sehr gut geschlafen.

Das Zentrum und der See sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück von Liesi ist hervorragend.😃😋 Ihr sympathische nette und zuvorkommende Art ist sehr angenehm und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Der Bahnverkehr war etwas störend, da die Pension direkt neben den Gleisen liegt und wir unser Zimmer direkt daneben hatten. Um zirka 06.30h morgens fuhr erste der Zug durch. Sonst war alles ok.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, sehr gastfreundlich. Frühstück war lecker, Eier wurden nach Wunsch zubereitet. Das Zimmer war groß, und mit Balkon zum See. Mit der Sommer-Gästekarte freier Eintritt für verschiedene Attraktionen z.B. im Freibad oder für die Seilbahnen..

Wegen der Bahnstrecke hinterm Haus musste das Fenster nachts geschlossen bleiben.

There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. It was impossible to sleep with the windows open because the hotel is located right next to the railway tracks, and the noise from passing trains was very loud. When booking the hotel on Booking.com, the property is advertised as offering free on-site parking. However, only one day before arrival—when it was no longer possible to cancel the reservation —we received an email stating that the number of parking spaces is limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. On summer the hotel is pretty busy, so parking spaces were not always available

A centrally located pension in Zell am See. Close to restaurants and the lake. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

The breakfast is served in sort of a coridor, next to the rooms, so it's not very spacious. The excellent food and friendly staff make up for that though. The number of free parking spaces is limited.

Katrin a Sanne boli veľmi ústretové a stále usmiate. Cítili sme sa v penzióne veľmi prijemne.

أعجبني الموقع و قربه من البحيرة ( مطل عليها) بعيدا عن ان البلكونة مطلة على سكة القطار صوته مسموع ولكن لم اشعر به أبدًا خلال الليل ، تعامل الموظفين جدًا رائع رحبوا بنا و الإفطار كان جدًا حدا رائع و التي تعمل هناك جدًا عسل لم يرفضوا أي طلب حتى عندما طلبنا مكان لوضع الأمتعة لساعات بعد التشك اوت لم يرفضوا ذلك

What I liked most was the lovely owners, who were extremely helpful the whole time, tried to help with any problem, gave us suggestions for things to do, and were generally super nice. The breakfast was also nice, they would make fresh omelettes on request, which were very good. Also, the location of the hotel within Zell am See was perfect, with beautiful views of the lake from our window.

The main caveat is this: if you are going in summer, I would recommend requesting a room that does not face the train tracks. On hot nights, you may need to open the windows to cool the room, and then the trains can wake you up. To be fair, the windows are excellent and do a very good job of reducing the train noise when closed, but on hot days it is difficult to keep them closed all night. My only recommendation for the owners would be to consider investing in portable A/C units or something similar. It is a shame that such a lovely place has this one issue, especially because everything else was so nice. Again, to be fair, I am sure this is only a problem during the hottest part of summer.

The location is perfect, very close to a beach. The sauna and breakfast are wonderful!

The twin rooms are located facing the Main Street, people smoke in front of the hotel and it’s impossible to open the windows but there’s also no air conditioning. The walls of the hotel are very thin and you can hear every single word. I wouldn’t recommend for travelers with dogs and/or children

Breakfast is wonderful, rooms are big. Location is fantastic, a really short walk to the town and the Summercard was well worth it! Also, self serve beer on tap and the honesty box is a lovely touch.

Die Gemütlichkeit auf dem Balkon war durch die nahen Bahngleise etwas getrübt, bei geschlossenen Fenstern hat man aber die Züge kaum gehört

After staying in multiple pensions all over Austria, I can say that this one is by far the best I have visited. Rooms are newly built with nice bathroom and comfy bed and especially AC for cooling in summer. Sauna is available as well! There is perfect breakfast with variety of very good quality of food. I really enjoyed the stay and recommended 10/10

Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Pension Max, was völlig okay war, länger würden wir aber nicht empfehlen. Das Zimmer mit Balkon war groß und sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war top - sehr gute Auswahl und extrem leckere Eierspeisen (werden dir vor Ort frisch zubereitet). Die Lage war perfekt (abgesehen von den Bahngleisen) - man erreicht in wenigen Gehminuten den Park, den See und die Innenstadt.

Warum wir nicht nochmal kommen würden, ist die Bahn, die direkt am Balkon entlang fährt (quasi durch das Zimmer). Wir haben beide Tage nicht gut geschlafen, da die Bahn extrem (!) laut ist. Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt 30 Grad aber mit Fenster auf schlafen war wegen der Bahn keine Option, es gab keine Klima. Daher nur für einen Kurztrip geeignet und keinen langen, erholsamen Urlaub.

Sehr gute Lage in der Nähe des Sees.Das Haus ist schon etwas älter aber das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Reibungslose Abwicklung und Sommercard dabei. Frühstück war echt toll! Sogar Omelett wurde angeboten. Danke dafür!

Leider haben wir nicht gesehen, dass die Pension an den Gleisen liegt. Aber das war unser Fehler. Die Züge sind schon ordentlich laut und gegen 05:00 Uhr kam der erste Zug schon vorbeigefahren.

Schönes Zimmer, zentrale Lage, unkompliziertes Check-in

Baustelle ums Haus, die beinahe den Weg zu den Parkplätzen versperrt wurde im Vorfeld nicht kommuniziert. Der versprochene Seeblick ist auch ein Blick auf die Fahrleitung der Eisenbahnlinie direkt vor dem Fenster. Frühstück wurde keines angeboten, auch wenn sich die Unterkunft "Bed and Breakfast" nennt.

Ontbijt was zeer goed! Persoonlijk en uitgebreid. In gezellige setting. De lekkerste eieren zoals je wil, worden voor je bereid. Communicatie zeer prettig in NL, Eng, Duits. De bedden lagen zalig, wat zachter dan doorgaans meemaken. Kussen iets te zacht naar mijn voorkeur. Goede ervaring met kamer begane grond, bij voordeur. Alles tip top in orde en schoon. Sauna privé een uur te reserveren een dag(en) vooraf, was goed voor elkaar. Handdoeken worden verzorgd. Ligging b&b was goed in rustig gedeelte van Zell am See, alles op loopafstand.

Niets af te dingen.

Close to the centre of zell em see. Clean tidy room, very cosy stay. Our room was very open planned with the shower fully open. Loved we had 2 separate balconies. Keypad for entering room so won't lose the key Quiet event though you back onto the railway line

Needs a kettle in the room A curtain or blinds over the second door would be better to block out sunlight. For us it was okay as we were there in winter
