Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Lovely place in a perfectly quiet and tranquil location. The only sounds were the birds and the waves. The apartment is set back a bit from the beach, so it's completely secluded. It had everything we needed. The kitchen is adequate with a great countertop oven and a single induction burner. Loved having a washer/dryer. Would definitely stay again if we're back in the area.
The area is quite remote with limited options for dining out.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2025Beautifully located next to a sandy beach with views across to a large sand dune. Scenic clifftop walk where we spotted some orca. The nearby village is maybe lacking facilities- we couldn’t find a shop or cafe but that was ok. We welcomed the chance to do some laundry.

Reviewed Mar 12, 2024We stayed on the basis of self catering. What we loved about the property was that it exceeded our expectations. The position is wonderful with immediate access to the beach. Whilst there are very few facilities for us in this location (it didn’t matter as that’s why we chose to stay there) there was a hotel where we ate it and the two nights we were there and that was extremely good. There was a local shop where we go to get supplies. On a five week trip to New Zealand, this was one of the highlights!
