With a pass card it was very smooth to go out and come in! Nice people! They're friendly and informative! Because of their shoe free policy the floor is extra clean. The kitchen space has a table and sofas where you can eat and relax. Hot and cold drinking water free!

It would cost you a little more than the same rank of hotels in Kuala Lumpur. Maybe because of the quiet vicinity, small noise from neighbor guests becomes a torture. The wall plug is not the universal one, you might need an adapter.

Bien situé. Personnel au top et d’une extrême gentillesse. Semi chambre individuelle (elles ne sont pas cloisonnées jusqu’en haut).

Pas de papier toilette. Pommeaux de douche qui ne fonctionnent pas.

Private rooms with a small bed, wardrobe, and fan. Shared bathrooms and a small common kitchen area. Short walk to the main areas of Ipoh. Good wifi. Also it's very near the bus station.

The walls to the rooms don't go all the way up so you can hear your neighbors and see their lights if they have them on at night but it's much better than sleeping in a shared dorm.

1. Its cheap and affordable for solo travellers 2. Not suitable for couples as it's not soundproof

Stayed here twice now. Cheap as chips and only a 15 min walk into town thru little India.

Last time I was here I was plaques by snorers, this time was silent and I had a great sleep.

Nora est très serviable. On s’y sent à l’aise, chacun a son intimité. J’ai eu de la chance car les autres voyageurs étaient calmes et respectueux ce qui a rendu mes nuits agréables.

Monter deux étages avec une valise était un peu compliqué surtout quand le gérant ne propose meme pas d’aide…

Child cannot stay here! Next time, make it clear in the booking! I went there and wasted my time because children are not allowed. Please state this clearly in advance so that guests know before making a reservation. It was a complete waste of time. CHILD POLICY NOT STATED CLEARLY

Location is close to the bus and train station (5 min walk from the bus, 15 to the train), 10-15 min walk to the main city center (the whole city is walkable tho). Staff was friendly and helpful. The cubicules aren't really big but provided enough privacy for me and the bed was comfortable. The whole place was clean and the ac was good. I felt safe in the area even at night (10 pm).

Kitchen is only a sink and water supplier, no stove/microwave.

The place was clean and near to all the facilities and location.

The rooms are just so small, noise all the time, the building next door has birds in it, so expect birds sound 24/7, even the room walls are paper thin, and cut halfway from the sides, so forget privacy.

The location - convenient for transport. The helpful front desk manager. The price - very cheap and good value.

The location - an old, run down part of town. Even so it felt safe. The aircon vents are in the ceiling of the passage between the bedrooms, so the rooms only benefit indirectly. The partition walls of the rooms do not reach the ceiling by 30 cm. This could be a problem if the neighbours are not considerate. During my stay this was not a problem, quiet time was.........quiet. The shower heaters are so weak that you have to restrict the flow severely to get a warm shower.

Afstand tot centrum is toch eindje lopen, dus beter een grab nemen.

Privacy of partitioned rooms

The partitioned walls did not reach up to the ceiling. The ventilation was negligible. I had to put up with a guy next to mine that didn't take showers or washed his clothes. The stanch coming from his room next to mine was horrendous.

Very comfortable and quiet. Very clean, towels provided and a comfy blanket.

Location is close to the town bus station but far from anything else, but I think that is a reflection of the town layout and not of the hostel itself. Ipoh is just a wide spread town. No soap anywhere.

Sufficient for the price, considering it is one of the cheapest hotels in Ipoh. Close to bus terminal and railway station. The neighborhood is very quiet, there are only some car repair shops around, no noise in the night.

The "single room" on the 1st floor is actually a cubicle in greater shared space, there are gaps between walls and the ceiling and you can hear the other guests talking or snoring. Some guests are not respectful and are talking even after 10pm. Earplugs strongly recommended. A warning on the fridge says that the kitchen is being watched by a CCTV, to discourage guests from stealing food. But I haven't noticed any camera and my bottle of tea has disappeared. To the staff: either remove the warning or at least get a fake camera. The place is close to the station but a bit far from city center (eg. Concubine Lane), requires ca. 10-15 mins walking to get there. Also limited dining options in the neighborhood, only a few Indian restaurants.

I would Love to Tell you what I liked but the (via mail) agreed late check-In was obviously forgotten and I was standing outside in the middle of the night. The Hostel is not responding at all seems to mit bother them.

Pay Attention with Agreements with this accomodation. The don't keep them.

Close to the train station and the stuff is very nice, but the cabins are not completely closed so you can hear everything during the night. Extra shampoo and bodywash ist not available as at other places usual.

The accommodation is value for money, I paid RM27 only for 1 night. The location is good, not so much concern on me because I drove my own car. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful to assist me to settle my enquiries and issues.

I encountered several issues while staying and I have some suggestions for improvement: 1. I stayed on Level 2, there was no body wash/shampoo/any soap provided in the bathrooms for guest, luckily I brought my own body was and shampoo. Appreciate if the Management can provide body wash & shampoo (in bottles or refillable dispenses) for everyone's use in each bathroom cubicle. 2. I stayed at Room No 2-3, the first 2 nights were a bit unpleasant as the aircond was not working at all, I was unsure if it was not working properly or switched off, hence there was no wind movement in my room and ventilation was so poor. I reported to the reception and was able to switch room to Room No 2-6 which was nearer to another working aircond. I would suggest to use standard ceiling fans or any fans to manage ventilation if the aircond is out of order. 3. Smelly shoe racks on Level 1 and 2 - suggest to use air fresheners in those areas. 4. The was no proper desk and chair for guests to use laptop and do work on. There were photos of facilities ie desks and chairs advertised on booking.com but in actual, the facilities were not there.

The walls separating each "room" don't go up to the ceiling and so you can hear every noise your neighbour makes. The guy in the room next to mine was a little peculiar. I got the impression that many of the guests were staying long term.

There was in the past a fire in the building, you smelt that, Check in is not 24 hours but closed at 11pm

Yhis is my first time here. The staff are friendly; check-in and check-out was easy. People who stay here are very simple, compassionate and comply with the rules. I got locked out accidentally at about 11.40pm. Reception was closed and I couldn’t get spare key to get into my room. A guest from Switzerland showed me the lounge on the first floor and gave me his blanket to use. Good vibes. If I travel alone, I’ll stay here again.

Air conditioner very cold. My feet was freezing. Perhaps was due to only 2 ppl occupying the entire 3rd floor.

The best thing about this place is the price honestly. Otherwise the room is ok, sometimes very hot or cold depends on the A/C. Nearby the hostel there is nothing really, so you will have to walk. Very close to the train station.

When you walk in the place smells, and its a bit old. Walls are very thin so you can her other people talking or snoring. Do NOT put you food in the fridge, someone will probably steal it.
