Tout était parfait, personnel souriant et agréable, nous avions pris une chambre sans fenêtre et j’ai apprécié l’hôte d’accueil qui nous a tout de même demandé si tout était ok concernant ce choix de notre part!

Sehr gepflegter Empfangsbereich im Kolonialstil mit meist freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Zimmer waren ausreichend groß und sauber mit guten Betten. Alles Notwendige war vorhanden. Es besteht die Möglichkeit Wäsche zu waschen und mit einem Trockner zu trocknen. Sogar Waschmittel wird bereitgestellt. Unmittelbar neben dem Hotel kann man Frühstücken.

Insgesamt ist es im Hotel aber sehr dunkel und es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Kudos to the designer for having a vision and executing it. Lots of attention to detail although the aesthetic may not be to everyone's taste. Hotel has free parking at the back. Japanese restaurant downstairs is very good.

El hotel tiene su encanto y los servicios esperados. Es cierto que a su alrededor no hay mucho, pero en el mismo edificio y con acceso directo desde el hotel hay dos restaurantes.

No se el resto de habitaciones, pero la nuestra no tenía lo que se dice unas vistas de encanto, más bien lo contrario. Las cortinas quedaron cerradas durante toda nuestra estancia.

La struttura si trova un po' decentrata rispetto al centro di Ipoh, raggiungibile con pochi minuti di Grab. Molto particolare l'arredamento dell'hotel che caratterizza anche le camere. Stanze non troppo ampie ma comunque confortevoli così come il bagno. A disposizione degli ospiti acqua depurata e potabile nella hall e un'area lavanderia con lavatrici e asciugatrici gratuite.

The room was large and clean. Bathroom was also clean. Free onsite parking was a real saver. Mattress and pillows were excellent.

Das Design des gesamten Hotels ist wirklich sehr schön und mit Liebe zum Detail. Wir verbrachten dort eine Nacht und hätten uns gut vorstellen können, noch etwas länger dort zu bleiben.

Leider wird kein Frühstück angeboten.

I really enjoyed my stay at M Boutique Hotel Ipoh. I love the industrial and old-school interior concept—it gives the place a unique and cosy character. The staff were friendly, kind, and very helpful. They also have a private working space, which is a great plus if you need somewhere quiet to work. Overall, a lovely place with a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The only downside was the bathroom. Water tends to pool on the floor, and the shower was not functioning properly during my stay. It would be helpful to provide a floor wiper/squeegee so guests can easily clear the standing water.

staff took forever to check us in. noisy rooms. could not sleep because we heard dogs barking the whole night. quite far from all main locations

Cafe/restaurant was great, gym was decent, and we had fun playing cards in the meeting room. The general vibe and aesthetic of the hotel was lovely.

Our room was a bit of a let down. We’d booked the “superior room” and it was tiny. I have no idea what qualified it as superior. Also some little touches which would make the room much better - a couple more hooks to hang clothes/towels from, and a proper bedside table on both sides of the bed (one only had a small stool acting as a bedside table, but maybe this is because the room was so small!!)

The design was very retro and interesting. Onsite laundry was a very useful addition. Its a 10 minute walk from old town, but through an unkempt area which I wouldn't walk through at night. There are 2 restaurants in the same building non of which provide breakfast.

The rooms are very small, I had the superior queen size which would be small for 2 people and luggage. The floorboards are creaky in the corridors, so noisy when people arrive or leave their rooms. The hotel is situated in an industrial looking area not in centre.

You tried to make the place feel romantic, but the room is too small for us to really enjoy that atmosphere. This room size is more suitable for business travelers or working professionals. However, without a table and chair, it's not practical for them to work in the room. The lighting is also too dim, making the room feel dark and less functional.

Polite staff, good location. The restaurant attached was really nice and did good sushi, the gym was great and the little reading nook next to it was a great touch. About a £1 taxi to the centre and about a £2 taxi to all of the main attractions which was crazy!! Highly recommend this stay

The hotel’s design remains as impressive as we remembered from our last stay 9 years ago. Every corner is thoughtfully decorated, and the rooms each have their own unique personality and charm. One of the hotel’s greatest strengths is its convenient location. It’s close to many of Ipoh’s famous eateries, cafés, and attractions. Another feature we really appreciated was the availability of parking for the hotel guests. Thank you to the entire team for a delightful return to M Boutique Hotel.

The room was comfortable and the overall stay was okay. However, there are a few issues that need improvement. The toilet sliding door was quite difficult to open and close as it did not slide smoothly. The shower water pressure was also very weak, causing only a small amount of water to come out, which made showering take longer than usual. In addition, the towel provided was in poor condition. It looked worn out, and the bottom stitching was completely torn, which was unpleasant and did not meet the standard expected from a hotel. I have stayed at this hotel several times before, so I hope the management will take action to improve the shower facilities, repair the sliding door, and replace old towels. With these improvements, the guest experience would be much better.

I like the freshness , cleanliness and the interesting decor. Room was spacious with contemporary amenities.

Lovely small hotel near the centre of Ipoh. Walkable into town or short Grab ride. Room was clean and very comfortable. Lots of quirky decorations. Would definitely stay here again.

No kettle to boil water, no cups, hot water for shower was cold and the 2 horses in the room is not needed. Occupied space on the table and dusty

Comfortable room, toothbrushes and toothpastes available, gym and self-service laundry was very handy. Only a 20 minutes walk from the main attractions in Ipoh. But because it's a bit out of the way it's also quiet. Free parking at the back.

Ironing board is located in the hallway which can feel a bit intrusive when someone walks by and see you ironing your clothes. But not too bad. When walking at night to and from the hotel be careful of stray dogs.

Friendly and polite staff. Great location. Complimentary carpark for hotel guests. 1 washing machine and 1 dryer. Gym.

A bit small and lighting needs to be improved. Water heater not as warm. Wifi intermittent issue.

The decor at the M Boutique is pretty cool, or at least it was in the lobby and on our (first) floor! The staff were also very helpful and attentive. The beds were very comfortable and because of the high ceilings, the rooms felt bigger than they are, which was nice! The shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were really good too and smelled nice and fresh.

There seemed to be limited hot water in the bathroom shower and the hotel does not have a kitchen. Breakfast at the bff cafe next door only starts at 9am so until then there’s only the coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

All round, a good 4 day stay. Hotel is “boutique” and has its own character, with furnishings, lighting, floorboards. The 2 onsite restaurants were both decent. The room was okay and shower was good. Had onsite laundry, but wait time for the one washing machine can be long.

The property is a little out of the way from main attractions. A short Grab ride or 15mins walk. The one person room is a little on the small side, and then over furnished and the desk cluttered, making space a premium. They need to create a ticketing system for use of the single washing machine.

The room and entire hotel has a lot of character. It's quite quirky and unique which makes it more memorable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower was really nice and the air con made the room comfortable. It was a little loud even when on silent mode but I've definitely heard worse! The attached Best Fusion Food and Japanese restaurant are nice if you don't fancy going too far for food/drink. The gym was perfectly functional and the laundry (free to do!) was very handy.

Not really a fault of the hotel but it's a little bit of a walk to the Old Town area which is definitely the nicer part of Ipoh and the bit you'll want to see on foot. It's still walkable though.

Nie da się wracać do hotelu pieszo - po drodze wyłażą na drogę duże, agresywne, szczekające psy, należące do właściciela sklepu samochodowego na rogu - radzę wracać grabem. Właściciele hotelu powinni się z nim skontaktować, żeby nie wypuszczał ich poza ogrodzenie,bo biegają swobodnie po ulicy.

Great eye for detail in the design of this hotel. Loved the decoration, the style and feel. Staff was friendly, room was comfortable and clean. There were plenty of Parking spaces behind the hotel. Washing machine and dryer available in the common room.

La belle décoration style industrielle. La propreté irréprochable. La fontaine à eau à disposition pour l'eau ainsi que les bouteilles déposées chaque jour. La salle de sport, pas indispensable pour un hotel mais comme elle était présente, c'est à noter, elle est bien fournie.

La fenêtre de ma chambre ne se fermait pas, on entendait le bruit de dehors, mais ça ne remet pas en question la qualité de l'hôtel et du séjour.

La décoration, un lieu atypique, on s'y sent bien. Salle de sport plutôt bien fournie. Chambre équipée avec sèche cheuveux, il y a tout ce qui faut pour l'hygiène. Propreté impéccable. Les bouteilles d'eau chaque jour sont appréciables. Il y a également une fontaine d'eau en bas à disposition, à utiliser plus souvent que de multiplier les bouteilles vides.

L'isolation sonore est un peu légère, aussi la fenêtre de ma chambre ne ferme pas. La connexion internet est un petit point faible, elle saute régulièrement mais ça ne remet pas en question le confort générale. Il manque une table de chevet, quand on est 2, ça peut être pratique d'avoir la sienne plutôt que de mettre ses affaires par terre, mais c'était peut être spécifique à ma chambre. Je n'avais pas non plus de prise de mon côté.

The welcome and the service was excellent. There was plenty of parking space, so we didn't have to worry about that. The entire place is very austhetically pleasing and has coordinated decorations - common spaces and the room. Our room was really small, which was ok for 1 night, but would be uncomfortable in any other circumstance.

Our room was very small, not ok for 2 people. The hotel is not really close to the old city, you would have to take a Grab (4-5 minutes) and I was under the impression you can walk, so that was a bit of a surprise.

Cozy ambience with a rustic feel, friendly staff, thoughtful room layout. There's also a mini gym and reading area at Level 1.

The lobby is adorable! Right from the start, the M Boutique truly felt like a boutique hotel. The layout and decor was phenomenal...super great for cute pictures. The room was small but cute, and the staff were kind. I was a little skeptical of the location at first, but once we went out walking, we found the location to be a very easy walk (if you like walking). We walked 3 times to old town (in itself a very walkable small neighborhood) and enjoyed the walk. We only stayed here one night. If we stayed longer, we would have walked into new town, which was very doable. The M Boutique is about equal walking distance to both Old Town and New Town. We also enjoyed grabbing a snack from the popcorn place across the street.

Breakfast was not given as an option on Booking.com, which was fine since we were able to get some delicious souffle pancakes from Sho Floofee in Old Town. However, M Boutique did have an attached dining room that looked very cute! It was unclear whether or not breakfast was offered there. Our specific room looked like it had not been cleaned in some time. It was not dirty, but it was more...dusty appearing. I am not sure if different parts of the hotel would have better experiences, but our room was right over the main road and I woke up several times during the night to very loud trucks/motos as the room had very little soundproofing.

Not a great location, have to use grabs for everything. The ceiling leaked onto me whilst sleeping, hairdryer broken and shower constantly dripped water.

Die Fotos entsprechen genau dem, was man im M Boutique Hotel bekommt! Das Zimmer war mehr als komfortabel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! In ungefähr 10-15 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt von Ipoh. Man konnte seine Wasserflasche kostenlos auffüllen und gratis Wäsche waschen!

Einziges Manko war, dass man vieles aus dem Flur auch im Zimmer gehört hat.
