We slept in the tent, it was very nice and comfortable! It’s not a simple tent, it’s almost like a proper bungalows with its private bathroom and a comfy bed with mattress! The staff were very nice and kind, very lovely people! They also rent scooters. Recommended stay!

Nothing, everything was superb!

Great place to stay. Very helpful people. Clean. Made a fab pad thai for breakfast. My partner jokingly requested a full english breakfast and the lady made us both one the next morning. The little balcony was lovely to sit on a morning listening to the birds in the jungle surroundings. They also booked a free taxi to the port to get the boat to Aonang. I would highly recommend staying here for a few days and exploring the island.

Leuk gezellig bungalowtje. Locatie goed en rustig! Iedere ochtend een ontbijt waar je de eerste úren genoeg aan hebt!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im Relaxing House. Alles war sauber und die Betten groß und bequem. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb aber man kann sich vor Ort gute Roller ausleihen mit neuwertigen Helmen. Wir hatten sogar einen Kibderhelm bekommen. Mit dem Roller ist man dann ganz schnell überall. Am letzten Tag hatten wir uns keinen Roller gemietet weil wir einen Tagesausflug gebucht hatten. Abends kam die Mitarbeiterin und hat uns (kostenfrei) den Schlüssel von einem Roller gebracht falls wir irgendwo zum essen fahren wollten. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht. Jeden Morgen kam die Mama und hat uns das Frühstück auf unsere Terrasse gestellt. Was man dazu sagen muss, es ist thai Frühstück. Also gerne auch mal Reis mit Gemüse und Ei... Mag ja nicht jeder. Aber immer lecker. Wäsche konnten wir auch waschen lassen. Alles super. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn, wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Mysigt, lantligt. Detaljer som att frukosten serverades på vår egen veranda och fick en knackning med "Godmorgon" när den var serverad. Eller att 16 åriga dottern tog emot vid incheckning och vi fick välja armband som hon själv gjort som välkomstgåva 🥰

Die Matratzen der Betten sind für unseren Geschmack doch zu hart und das Bett quietscht bei jeder Bewegung. Zudem roch der Abfluss, man gewöhnt sich nach einer Zeit daran. Es herrscht ein gewisser Instandhaltungsstau, gerade wenn man sich die Ablagen im Badezimmer oder auch so Kleinigkeiten wie defekte Deckenlampen anschaut.

Bardzo miłe i spokojne miejsce. Właściciel są bardzo mili, panuje rodzinna atmosfera. Jest cicho, czysto i spokojnie. Polecam z całego serca!

Bungalow tranquille, grande chambre bien climatisée. L’hôtesse nous a loué un scooter dès notre arrivée. Le petit déjeuner est servi sur la terrasse du bungalow et elle les a offert. Idem pour le taxi pour retourner au port. Vraiment un super accueil où tout est fait pour faciliter le séjour.

La qualité des équipements

Mai nella mia vita è successo che andassi via da una struttura prima di terminare il soggiorno. Qui è successo. Abbiamo avuto in camera 4 gechi, 4 scarafaggi (blatte), un ragno grande e un mare di formiche. Le porte e le finestre hanno degli spiragli che fanno entrare tutti gli insetti. Abbiamo provveduto a chiamare gli host che simpaticamente ci hanno dato uno spray alle erbe (inutile) e hanno provato ad uccidere il ragno. Non hanno ucciso il ragno ma hanno rotto il gabinetto. Quindi dopo avevamo ancora tutti gli insetti e in più il gabinetto che perdeva acqua. Inoltre, la struttura é in una posizione molto scomoda e la colazione irrisoria. Per concludere: abbiamo richiesto il rimborso delle due notti in cui non abbiamo dormito e non ci é stato dato. Booking sì.

Kvinnan som tog emot oss va helt fantastiskt trevlig och hjälpsam, rummet va rent och fräscht. Ett enkelt boende precis som vi förväntade oss då vi bokade. Fanns motorbikes att hyra på boendet så det va lätt att sen ta sig runt på ön för att utforska.

אחלה מקום, נקי ושקט, ארוחות בוקר חמודות מאוד מוגשות למרפסת, סביבה נעימה. היו חרקים (זבובים קטנים) בצהריים בחדר שהפריעו לנו מאוד לישון, לא היה מה לעשות עם זה וזה היה קצת מבאס. בעלת המקום מהממת, עשינו גם כביסה וגם עזרה לנו עם אופנוע.

Es war sauber und die Lage ist OK. Das wir bei unserer frühen Abreise das Frühstück to Go bekommen haben. Am besten man mietet sich gleich einen Roller am Pear, so spart man sich das Taxi und ist direkt unabhängig. Hier gibts Roller für 200 Bath pro Tag und er bringt die Roller direkt zum Pear. Per WhatsApp: ‪+66 93 732 6350‬

Viel zu Teuer für das was geboten wird. 50 Euro pro Nacht, da muss schon geboten sein in Thailand. Für 20-25 Euro die Nacht würde ich nicht meckern aber es war lediglich eine sauber Hütte mit Klima und einem kleinen Balkon und einen gutem Frühstück das aufs Zimmer gebracht wurde. Aber 50 Euro pro Nacht sind hierfür nicht angemessen.

Location is good to head in any direction. Host lovely and prepared breakfast and delivered it to the room every morning along with a selection of fruit.

Strangely first time ever had a room with no cover on the duvet. Only two lights in the room had bulbs in them and the outside one worked if you played about with it! Accommodation a bit dated. They are building a couple of new cabins maybe the older ones would then be upgraded

Excellent value for money. So clean. Host was so accommodating. She arranged for scooters to the property for us and did our laundry.

She did a fantastic job washing my clothes. Bikes were in excellent condition. Had a car ready for us on check out time to go to the pier

Had a lovely stay here would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Koh Yao Yai! The family were so lovely, they gave us fresh orange juice and mango on arrival, and had our motorbike ready for us as requested. We got different Thai breakfast every morning and they evening came after us when we left on a moped to bring a charger I had left behind! 10/10 recommend :)))

Bungalows are in the middle of the island, It's very easy to explore the whole island. A mother and her daughter run the bungalows, and every morning they brought us a different breakfast. It was delicious. The beds are very comfortable. The bungalows are surrounded by nature; you can hear the birds and monkeys in the morning. The road didn't bother us because there were no cars or scooters between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.

The bungalow is very poor and far from everything,i paid thb 1800 no value for money.I slept there 1 night after that i went in a hotel near a main beach i paid thb 800

Owner family is super friendly and nice. Clean and comfortable rooms. Tasty breakfast is served to your terrace. They also offer scooter for rent.

Very friendly host. Tasty local breakfast. Location in the middle of the island, no beach nearby, but its not a problem if you have scooter (host provide it for additional cost).

Ants, cockroachs, lizards and other unknown siblings in the house and nearby. Tv was not working, wifi signal was low.

We stayed for 4 nights at Relaxing House with our 11 y/o and it was great. Lovely family business from wonderful and caring people. It’s a small operation with only 4 bungalows. The bungalows are spacious and clean and it was great to get breakfast on our balcony every morning. We loved the ‘surprise breakfast’ as it was never just standard eggs and toast but always something more creative. We were also very happy with the scooter we rented from them. They helped us book a trip to Hong Island and also a taxi and ferry ticket back to Krabi. Would definitely recommend!

There are no stores or restaurants within easy walking distance so you do need a scooter to get around. You could potentially get a taxi every time you want to go out but that’s very inconvenient

Communication before arriving, messaged with arrival time at pier and a car was waiting to taxi us to property. Lovely welcome from mother and daughter. Sorted us mopeds straight away at a good rate. This is essential as property is in the middle of the island. Roads were quiet, safe and easy to use. 4 nice, clean but basic bungalows. We were the only guests. We asked for dbl and single to accommodate 3 in same place. Only complaint was from husband saying bed was rock solid. It was very hard but I didn’t mind it. Air con excellent, bathroom clean, shower powerful.

Was worried about the location before arriving but there doesn’t seem to be any area that is the ‘centre’ or busy except where hotels were. Mopeds essential or you can get quad bikes or we saw quite a few side car mopeds too! The freedom you get from mopeds lets you discover the whole island which is what we did.

The host & her daughter were so funny and exceptionally welcoming! They made sure everything was perfect for our stay and were super helpful even with the language barrier. They were able to provide us 2 scooter rentals (koh yao yai was the only place in Thailand that I drove my own scooter it was very calm and remote). They brought us water and home made breakfast (the fried dough was amazing!) They were able to provide us a laundry service and our clothes came back very clean. I highly recommend staying at Relaxing House Koh Yao Yai and booking a Hong Island Boat Tour through the owner, it was our favorite boat tour that we did on our two months traveling throughout Thailand. The beaches were beautiful. It's a little away from the main tourist area which we found nice, a short 15 minute scooter ride if we wanted to get over to the resorts/ shopping. The bungalow was clean and we loved the owner's kitty's coconut would have my morning coffee with me while I worked remotely.

The Wi-fi is a little un-reliable. It worked well for my remote work but my boyfriend is a video editor and works with larger files so we would go to one of the resorts sometimes for him to upload. besides that our stay was perfect!

This family is very helpful and friendly ❤️ they organised for us free pick up from the pier and also booked the best possible transfer to our next destination. They were bringing to us delicious breakfast every Morning. I hope to come back there one day to spend time in this beautiful place once again.

The breakfast was a nice surprise! All the days it was a little different, I love it.

There wasn’t a lot I didn’t like about this beautiful off beaten place it’s owned by a small family mom made you breakfast everyday brings it to your door, it’s so quiet and fresh water was clean and we got hot water, there’s 2 7/11 in Koh Yao yai the restaurants there are very good you will need a bike on this island

Bed a little hard

Amazing surroundings, very calmed space, convenient location (in the middle of the island, equal distance to both extremes). Only 15min ride to Lo Paret Beach, one of the best in the island. Hosts are incredibly sweet and welcoming, always willing to help and brought a different breakfast every day. I spent my birthday here and they surprised me with cake and sang to me :) we felt right at home.

It was honestly amazing! We arrived they was so welcoming and sweet, it was a little family business and the young woman on the front didn’t know much English but was really attentive and sweet. Brought us breakfast every morning and water. The room was clean and fresh! It was really good value for money. The best we have had so far on our trip! Didn’t wanna leave. Thank you

The location is good to explore the island from. We stayed in the triple bungalow it has everything you need. The staff was friendly and brought us fresh fruits every morning.

Nice room in the middle of the island. A simple breakfast was included not before 9 am, but they served it earlier on my last morning that I could eat before I went on the ferry. Nice! Free transfer to the accommodation.

Free transfer means that once you are there, you have no choice than to rent their scooter at a slightly higher price than normal but the difference is very small. No free transfer when leaving the property.

Beautiful clean accommodation about 15 minutes from the pier. Staff very nice,they came to pick us up at the pier.They prepared a welcome with a whole plate of pineapple and water, breakfast in the morning. We felt very welcomig and comfortable there. Thank you for everything.

Can’t recommend this place enough! So homely and clean and accessible to all the hotspots on the island. The owner was so lovely and brought us fresh fruit, breakfast and water every morning! And also sorted us a bike rental straight away. 10/10 from us! One of our favourite places we stayed in the whole of Thailand!

The location is perfect to explore most of the island. The host was very helpful, she made us breakfast every morning, free of charge. She even helped us to book a ferry for the car, because the staff on the ferry didn't speak english. She didn't speak english either, but evetything was done. The room and the balcony was very clean.

Not enough disposal areas in the bathroom, but the bathroom is big enough to leave the shampoos and everything on the floor

A simple setup of three, modern type bungalows. I was in, and would prefer the end one as it not behind the owners house/reception area. Felt a little more private and a slight view. The location is perfectly in center of island, so good access to either end. It does sit off the road so you get a little motorbike traffic entertainment, everything quiets early. Room had teapot, fridge, sitting area on terrace. Typical Thai bed, but I slept good. everything seems newer. While it was not a ‘breakfast included’ place, the owner brought a daily item to eat and a bottle of water , very nice. She also rents motorbikes. There are some very friendly cats - kind of looked forward to their begging.

The water out of taps was very brown. I don’t know what the pump/cistern system is, but I would not brush my teeth with it.

You have to rent a bike to get around the island, basically no taxis on the island

Nui is a lovely host, always helpful and smiling. She organised a brand new scooter for rent. The bungalow was always totally clean, aircon was great and surprisingly we got a nice breakfast every morning. We will definitely come back. We loved the quiet place a lot.

Set in beautiful grounds, right in the centre of Koh Yao Yai so easy to explore all areas with a moped (which you can rent from here). Beautifully quiet, surrounded by nature and exceptionally clean and well furnished rooms, including fridge and kettle. Nice warm shower, effective air conditioning and a lovely balcony to the front and back of the room. Lady running it is a total sweetheart and always smiling and happy to help with anything you need. Even brought us a plate of fresh fruit and a breakfast pastry each morning. Resident cats are also super friendly (especially the white one, who I have named ‘Coconut’. Closest restaurant is about 3 mins drive on the moped so you do need means of transport to get around (same for anywhere on this island).

Nothing - this was the perfect stay and we will definitely come back.

Super nice and very clean bungalow in the middle of nature (you definitely need a scooter) with a comfy bed and two little balconies. Surprisingly got a delicious breakfast in the morning (once with bananas from their own trees). Loved having breakfast sitting on the balcony and having all nature around. Noi is the sweetest host you can imagine! :)
