We stayed for 6 nights in a 3-bedroom flat and 6 nights in a 2-bedroom flat. Both were very well-equipped and comfortable. The staff members were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The views of the ocean are stunning!

Our stay was very comfortable, and the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. This place is run very efficiently. The location is very central to the Strand business area and the views are stunning.

The picture of the view is misleading, it is not a direct view of the ocean, a side view and not the view from the bedroom. Also noisy construction at the beachfront which should last until November 2026

The view of the beach was absolutely stunning! The place was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I don't have a single bad thing to say about this place. I felt safe at all times, the host was wonderful and accommodating, and the place was very modern with beautiful details.

The fact that I did not know that construction was taking place before I made the booking. If I had known about it I would not have booked this unit at all. Very noisy .

The location is great - close to everything you might need as well as some fabulous restaurants. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay - plus a beautiful view.

The apartment was simply perfect! The facilities were beautiful and had everything a home should have—and even more. The apartment was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. I absolutely loved the stunning beach views and the convenient proximity to restaurants, stores, and the beach itself. One of the highlights of my stay was enjoying the breathtaking sunrise and sunset views each day—they were truly unforgettable. The staff and management were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They went above and beyond to assist me, even when I got stranded, and their kindness and support made a huge difference. This is definitely a place I would love to visit again. It was a 10/10 experience—and even more! Thank you for having me. ❤️

The apartment looked nothing like the listing and wasn’t as advertised. Additionally, noise from unruly neighbours late at night made it difficult with young children. I wouldn’t recommend.

It was not only beautiful but so well laid out and equipped for long stays. I would easily book a week or two.

We stayed for a few days and the place was next-level and exceeded our expectations in every way possible, the view, the facilities in the room, the service, even Ashley checking in literally almost immediately after our booking was made and even the way Jeandre (JJ) handled the check-in with precision and attention to detail upon our arrival, really blew our minds. On top of that, this wasn’t just a stay we ticked off, but we plan to book with Ashley again soon! My Wife and I cannot even think of considering someplace else to go when we book again in Strand. We’re not hyping this up. Our stay literally blew our minds and they really went out of their way in ways most other people probably wouldn’t have. I’m scared I’ll run out of allowed characters to write this review. Our stay really was exceptional 👌

Excellent location, close to beach, shops and restaurants. Lovely sea views from the apartment. Ashley and JJ were most helpful and a pleasure to deal with. A great base for trips to Stellenbosch and Hermanus.

With the windows open , there was a nice draft, but closed it gets very hot. An air conditioner would have made me give it a 10/10. We had a very good stay, non the less.

The apartment was well equipped, spotless and boasted the most amazing view. All check in and check out arrangements were seamless.

Beautifully situated in an old but well-maintained building.

There is currently construction working going on in front of the building and also within the building itself. Although it is strictly during office hours this meant that we couldn’t fully use the property as we would have liked to. We do understand that this is beyond the control of the owners, but a heads up would have been nice.

La vue de l'appartement est très belle.La décoration est soignée et de bon goût. L'espace est bien agencé et permet de se sentir à l'aise . Le check in ! Un endroit sécurisé avec le portail et les badges pour rentrer et les cameras de surveillance.

Les travaux en bas de l'immeuble qui sont bruyants ( le propriétaire aurait pu le notifier ) mais qui sont indépendants de sa volonté. La literie est à revoir dans les deux chambres : elle est très très ferme pour les deux petits lits simples et pour le grand lit si l'un se retourne il fait bouger l'autre. La chambre avec les deux petits lits donne sur le couloir passant qui distribue les autres appartements, il n'y avait pas de volets ou rideaux occultants le petit store est insuffisant , la luminosité est très importante des 5h du matin. L'immeuble est ancien.

The location, close to the shopping mall and not to far from the airport.

Location was perfect. No too far from everything - airport, Stellenbosch, etc.

We liked everything. I would have liked something to make you warm in the evenings whilst watching TV, like a heater, but everything else was just perfect.

Spectacular view. Clean & comfortable bedding. The Ashley on Beach team was very accommodating to our needs. We had a weekend of meetings and they went above and beyond to make sure we were all set to concentrate on our task at hand. Thank you Ashley, Jeandre and Andries.

The beach gate was not working with our remote, but I saw others access it with a key tag. The walk around the back was not very nice and clean.

They run multiple flats in one building, promote them as one listing driving confusion. The flat we stayed in did not have the view, floor, decor or furniture of the pictures. Old flat block, a bit grimy, and not well cleaned.

A wonderful welcome from JJ. The apartment is very well equipped, including an air fryer and a dishwasher. Stunning sea view. Spacious enough for four guests, with a fully equipped kitchen. Tennis racket available upon request. Secure apartment with indoor parking.

Too much light in the bedroom with the two single beds. The double bed mattress is not comfortable, too springy. Perhaps a washing machine could be added.

The apartment was very smart, clean, and beautiful. Andries and Shirley welcomed us. We felt very at home. They were available to assist to accommodate us. Beautiful and perfect for a family holiday. Close to many shops and restaurants We will definitely visit again.

the apartment was easily located. it was on a quieter part of the beachfront. very safe to walk to the restaurants at night. overall good value for money and we had a pleasant stay.

Location excellent, unfortunately the beach is currently being rehabilitated. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, TV worked great. No aircon, but sufficient fans.

View from apartment was not as advertised on Booking.com. It should have been communicated that our view does not match the advertised view. Parking was a long way from apartment.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Ashley and her team for their wonderful hospitality, a special word of appreciation to JJ and Andries for the warm welcome, friendliness and assistance throughout our visit - it truly made a difference. We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunsets, which made the experience even more memorable.

The 11th floor apartment has awesome views.

The shower drain in the 11th floor apartment had a strong smell - but JJ quickly resolved the issue with some drain cleaner. Don’t underestimate wind conditions on the beachfront area - it can be quite limiting in your activities.

예상했던 것보다 층수가 낮아서 바다가 거의 안보여서 아쉬웠다. 아파트라서 복도나 주변에서 나는 소음이 밤에 들려서 좀 아쉬움이 있었다.

Extremely old building, not granting easy access between your vehicle and the apartment. The host gave me so much information that I felt like a child who should be careful not to break any rules. Couldn't find gate to exit towards the beach, elderly person helped however also treated us as if this is an old age home. Room windows are not private. You basically look into your neighbors flat if you don't just look straight ahead at the ocean. It was expensive, considering that pictures and information set the bar for our expectations very high.

Eigentlich verdient die Lage 5 Sternchen, aber wegen der Baustelle an der Straße vor der Anlage, kommt der Lärm bis zur 11 Etage. So gibt es es nur 4 Sternchen. Die Einführung durch Jeandre war super. Die Kommunikation war einwandfrei. Vielen Dank für die tollen Tage.

Die Baustellen, wie schon oben geschrieben, aber dagegen kann man nichts machen. Wird aber bestimmt sehr schön.

The interior is very very beautiful.

It would be great if the very strict rules is given beforehand or when booking. The host was very friendly but the other residents was very rude and unfriendly. One lady shouted at my son in the corridors for no good reason.

Ashley on Beach met all my expectations and we had a pleasant stay here. Ashley , the host , and her team ,is professional and organised and will go out of there way to help you and make your stay comfortable. The apartment is very clean and the beds and the seating in the lounge is comfortable and towels and linen are of good quality. The apartmant is very spacious with a lovely view of the beach and mountains. The wifi was good and the televison had streaming facilities as well as the whole DSTV package. Location is wonderful , as you are on the beach and very close to shops , restaurants and a supermarket. Nice and safe area to walk around The whole aparment complex is very quiet and safe. I highley recommend Ashley on Beach.
