Dwell City Living

It’s well located and convenient to use. There’s quite a bit of space and the value is pretty good.

Mostly the entire building sort of smelled like cigarette smoke. It was less noticeable when the aircon was on, but when it wasn’t the smell was quite strong.

It was quite dusty and not cleaned the best. There wasn’t an extractor fan for cooking. The window didn’t open at all and the Air Conditioning barely worked. This is a lot of money for how nice the room was.

Cleanliness and ease of living

Excellent room, but too hot with no opening window, therefore became very stuffy

A very comfortable stay in excellent surroundings with top facilities, will definitely return in the future. Congratulations to all the Dwell team👏👏

Clean

Grave yard out the window but only joking

Great hotel near the centre of Nottingham, is about a 20-minute walk from the main train station, and is directly opposite The Organ Grinder pub. Was quite modern and nicely decorated throughout. Entry into front door and room was via an electronic keypad, which you get from their app (via the booking link) beforehand. Well stocked bathroom, and room had a small kitchenette for any food / drink.

Only downside was that you needed to pay a £150 security holding deposit before they would release your electronic key on the app, which unusual, and a bit steep.

Good location for City centre

The rooms do not look like the pictures. Cleanliness and overall look and feel very disappointing.

Nothing 🙂‍↕️

Very poor

The location was perfect for our stay

The lifts were out of service and we had to carry suitcases up the stairs. This was a long stay so we had big bags. The vicinity immediately outside the premises has a lot of trash on the side walk. It gives the appearance of a run down place. Once inside the structure is relatively clean. Our room had a Cemetery view which I didn't particularly like but I'd take over a street view. These are the two options

空調有些房間可以，有些房間不可以

150磅壓金，三天才解封，10分過分

Very clean and nice interior

The code for the main door didn't work at first(phoned customer service they sorted it out straight away) the view out the window was a graveyard. Lastly I booked 4 rooms for 4 people we ended up getting 2 rooms with 2 double beds.

Zimmer an sich

Sauberkeit

Comfortable

Keyless

Checkout the lady who was cleaning was a bit rude

it’s was very clean and the shower was massive

the bed

nothing

Not clean, AC not working, elevator not working. Dirty. Stain on pillow and bedding

Lifts not working(we were top floor). No air con..Hottest it has been for weeks NO FANS.no information or welcome pact.

Good location

Didn’t feel very clean

Property is near with everything. Nice location. Jeff is very responsive during our stay.

The room was very warm, dusty and were in the side that we can’t open the window. The AC is not strong enough to make the room cold. And lift is not working which I know already because I saw in the other review.

Air conditioning in the flat

It was really awful to be honest. A cemetery behind it, a dreadful pub in front of it, no signage, broken lift and the excuse that booking.com should have told me when I booked except of course that you pay instantly and can’t change your mind!!! I was lucky I managed to convince some random guy to help me carry my suitcase up two big flights of stairs!!!!! I would never have managed it as I have a historical ankle surgery and worse, the broken lift says it’s for luggage 🫠🫠 the one shop down the road was seriously scary and had frightening reviews on google. Oh the windows don’t open at all. So no fresh air…I felt like I should have swiped left on this one. Ran away to a proper hotel in London as fast as I could. I saw later on that there was another one of these apartment buildings in what looked like a more central location, maybe it was the better one but I’ll never go near them again. Oh and if you’re tall don’t bother because you won’t fit on the single bed. My partner came to see me one afternoon and half his body was off the bed… he’s 6ft2…at least we managed a cuppa tea and to enjoy the air conditioning. I hate to think of what it’s like if that goes too!

Rooms were great….but the worst part is there is a graveyard attached to the property on the back side ….when ever you open the window curtains you will see the graveyard …otherwise all good

Everything brand new , very clean

The only thing was the main rd outside , lots of police sirens. But thats not the fault of the establishment.

It was modern, clean and basically what it said on the tin. It seemed to be in a newly built property.

The location, it is in the Radford area which is not the nicest in Nottingham. Whilst it’s at the city centre end, it is still a bit tough and we did not feel comfortable leaving our car parked there. We put the car into the Victoria centre which was a bit of a faff. The property is tight at the traffic junction area so if you are racing towards the road, it’s noisy. The air conditioning stopped mid-way in the night and we could not get it going again. The bedsheets are a bit on the cheap side and don’t feel nice, especially when you are hot.

Plenty of space, lovely aircon, good shower, great location. Cooking facilities small but adequate. Staff very friendly, responsive and helpful

I could have done with a toaster. Toilet a bit cramped

Room really well appointed. Double glazing perfect and excellent ac.

Although internal cleaning was fine, the squalor at the front of the premises was enough to put anyone off staying there.

Great lovely immaculate spotlessly clean apartment. Good location. Lovely room with fields at the back Very quiet.

Tiny bathroom. Not much room between toilet and door. Rowdy people at 4.00 a.m. Banging doors. Talking very loud. Stomping about.

Easy to access, does the job as a studio

Cleanliness wasn’t great, one single fork, minimum plates. Pics are misleading and impossible to know which ones correspond to the one you are contracting

Max 4 dagen is onze mening.

Location was good

Floor cleaned but still had hair around, two big balls of hair appeared from under the bed. Corners of room looked like they had not been swept/cleaned for months! When entering the place had a strong smell on bleach and cleaning products. Lots of rubbish on the pavement outside the residence, which makes it look messy from the outside, unfortunately! Ironing facilities non existent - ironing board falling apart and iron barely got hot! Extractor fan in the bathroom did not switch off which made a constant noise - rooms not sound proof as described. Could hear the TV next door! Having an adjoining room was not what we had expected. TV remote batteries flat so could not change the channel - messaged but no response ! Disappointed.

Convient base close to city centre. Contactless check in. Good sized room.

Room was very dusty and missing shower chair in an accessible room

Nothing I was unable to access the property.

Inability to access the property or contact anyone, phonecalls and voicemails left unanswered and still owed £295. Will be contacting my bank and leaving maximum reviews anywhere I can.

Room was fine - functional, good power sockets and basic needs well covered.

The pavement outside the property was filthy and rubbish strewn. In the alcove next to the door there were smashed bottles, discarded clothes and spilled bags of rubbish. The owners may not legally be obliged to clean outside but it makes the property feel horrible at first sight. Room was clean on the surface but moving bed to side to look for a dropped pen revealed a big pile of dust, so it felt didn’t feel thoroughly clean in that respect. Also there was no sign with WiFi code so I had to call the number to find out - should be prominently displayed in the appt. Same with temp control - no instructions so we were a little hot.

Once inside the room it was ok. Could look past the mismatched cutlery and not clean floor.

Outside the property front door, it was filthy , rubbish piled up against the door and the railing along the road. Inside, the hallways were dirty with rubbish lying around. Tea and coffee was included. We were given 1 teabag for a 3 night stay and 4 uht milks. There are so many green lights in the room at night (smoke alarm, light by door) when the lights were off, it was like daylight, I wished Id had a sleepmask. Friends stayed at other, far nicer places for less money.

Incredible value for money. Super comfortable bed, air con and a kitchenette which is a great feature.

The bathroom was incredibly small. Two chairs would have been a nice addition to be able to both eat at the desk as it was a twin room. The lift was not working.

Nothing.

Cabinet doors in bathroom were broken and we forgot our precious face wash and shampoo there after sometime we called to take it back but they refused to return as we were travelling and it was a doctor prescribed facewash from our country but they didnot return it thats super bad service

The property was convenient and had a good vibe and was easy to access

I had a few complaints about the fact that there was a stain on the bed and also on both the towel that were supplied. Also that a £150 deposit was taken which wasn’t listed in any writing and also was done on a separate link.

Room was nice and clean

Lighting could’ve been much better for my makeup

Accogliete struttura, modernas

The facilities in the room were great

no lift working and was on second floor and the cooker job dirty not cleaned

The bed is comfy

There was no staff and lift was not working on the day

Bed was comfy

Location wasn’t good. Room had damage and needed a good clean

The comfy bed and the air conditioning really stood out, especially on a hot day. Plus, the property was super clean and had really good facilities.

The bathroom was quite small and the lighting wasn't great. Also, there wasn't any staff available to help out when needed, when tried to call went to voice mail.

A modern building with AC which proved invaluable during a heatwave, a self-contained studio provided with everything that a student could dream of. And even some non-students in this heatwave. Pity that the elevator was broken and no one told me beforehand, if I were disabled this could have been problematic.

Unfortunately there were some issues with cleaning and, as other reviewers said, big spiders all around! The room could have been cleaner as well (there was some bird "gift" on the window) and bathroom ventilation and smell could be improved. But, overall, nothing that would deter me from coming back.

Quiet, clean, quite well equipped.

Key code access

Clean , modern and ac perfect and near plenty of shops , restaurants etc

Lovely and clean. Really easy check in - check out. Good location, within walking distance to Nottingham centre, safe secure parking across the road. Very quiet with views to open fields. Slept well overall, comfy bed. Owners responded to email enquiries very promptly.

Only issue was the noise from the room next door - but they did quieten down after the designated ‘quiet time’

Great location we barely spent money on Ubers, very nice room

Wished there was an oven rather than just a microwave.

Fantastic- I will to stay there again the bathroom was like in the spa and the bed was so comfortable and relaxing.

I didn’t like the 3rd door next to the tv I can hear people talking loud last night hearing them having s*x moan like 3-4 times I recorded for evidence just incase I couldn’t sleep until when they finished.

Very quick response, good communication about the check-in and the check-out. Unfortunattly I’ve not seen the personal staff. But very good

Like a premier inn with a kitchenette . Air conditioning was excellent.

Slight lack of utensils, no equipment instructions.

Ease of access

Location, how much I had paid for student accom lookalike.

Well stocked and clean. Good size room with all you could need.

I still have a holding deposit from my stay which is irritating. The room was left immaculately. This should have been returned already. Was a bit noisy with other guests returning late at night.

Location and code access

Triple room (19) was much smaller than expected from the images.

Close to city centre

The bathroom smell of damp its very horrible

Close to city centre

Pictures made it look a lot cleaner and nicer

Room was lovely and cool even though the temperature outside was 37. Great to have air conditioned rooms that actually get to the cool temperature. Nice and peaceful looking out over the cemetery even though you are on a main street. Lots of local food places close by. Plus a few decent pubs with craft ales available.

Great location for exploring the city. We found it was quiet.

It said it had parking... which actually meant there was parking nearby.

Convenient location , clean , air conditioning (on hottest day of year) , safe and secure .

Great accommodation great price

Nothing

Air con on hottest day of the year worked well !

Very clean, Morden and high value for money. Spacious room and decent room layout Nice garden view Staff was very prompt in getting back to my queries out of hours

No access to the garden Hallway was extremely hot

It’s great. Clean and comfy.

I didn’t like the surroundings. Quite a dodgy area.

Ok

The lift was not working and we had a room on the third floor and I have a really weak knee . Some notice of this would have been good

This was very comfortable and clean. Jeff was very helpful

Nothing

Clean everywhere but the floor

Air con wasn’t great Floor was very dusty Not the easiest location to find and get parked

Nice, clean, good location

The lift didn't work...but it was mentioned in other reviews so didn't come as a surprise.

Letti comodi, buona pulizia

Cosy easy check in with code no keys. Keyless for ease. Safe and Secure. 7-8 min walk to city centre

Upper shelves dusty, sticky floor. Cleaning could be better

Location was good

The rooms were not ready for over an hour after we got there as check-in was from 3pm and didn’t get the rooms both ready til 4.15 we had children with us as we were visiting and out for a meal which made us late the cleaner had all the bedding and cleaning stuff left in the doorway and rushed the cleaning so wasn’t a great start or experience

Bed & pillows very comfortable, location at back of block quiet, curtains kept out light (useful in June), shower pleasant, kitchenette facilities good. Aircon worked well, block felt secure. Opposite good pub with nice food and local beers and small carpark. Close enough to walk to city centre.

Interior tired & needs some minor work: sofa grubby, showerhead wobbly, under sink cupboard door ill fitting, paintwork flaking. No cleaning materials provided (cloths, washing up liquid, tea towels). Mean with toilet roll & toiletries (only shampoo). Local area somewhat rough.

Lovely quiet clean and stylish

Confusing entry and broken lift

Only good thing is big comfy bed and tv.

In our room was dirty couch very dusty and left with stains… felt like it never been cleaned properly.. Toilet was not flush properly, when you flush water go up and from second time going down… In the midnight people back from town and slamming doors in corridor waking us up. So didn’t sleep all night unfortunately not a great stay for us..

I have been staying here for the last three or four years, and the quality of accommodation has truly decreased. This time several of the lights in the room were not working, the availability of plates, cups, etc was minimal and the cleaning was not great. The worst part was that my room was connected to the next one through a door that, although was locked, made me feel very unsafe. It also made the room very noisy.. I could literally hear all the conversations taking place next door!

The apartment was in a good location for the theatres/playhouse, just a 5-10 minute walk. There’s a public car park opposite which was really useful. As for the apartment, it was very comfortable with everything you need, including a kitchenette. The instructions for access to the apartment were very clear. There was a verification process to go through which required scanning of ID and photo.

The apartment could do with a maintenance check as there were a couple of things that required attention such as the window not opening and the showerhead loose on the wall.

The location was convenient with parking options nearby both paid and also free street parking 10-15 mins walk from the room. The room was large and spacious. Basics were clean such as bedding etc and tea coffee but bathroom floor needed a good mop

The room was incredibly dusty and felt like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The common area walls and skirting were all dirty. The bathroom wet room floor had mould and the bedroom window didn’t open. Relied on the fan for ventilation but it made the room feel dingy and there was a strong smell of weed upon entering the room.

Property is spacious and located only a 10/12 minute walk into the city centre. The room was light and spacious with a very comfy bed. Entrance was clean and well presented, security guard on the door of an evening.

The property wasn’t fully clean. Thick layers of dust sat on the inside of the bathroom door frame and mould/ damp on the ceiling in the shower. Cobwebs and a large/ friendly spider who had clearly checked in before us. The room had a damp/ musky smell. No mirror in the room to dry hair/ do make up in, had to plug hairdryer in next to bed and hope it reached the bathroom (luckily it did)

Boa localização é fácil chekin, pedem depósito de segurança porém realmente estornam em 4 dias.

The corridos smelt of weed and smoke 🚬 also the room was far to hot and the windows didnt open

The room was light, airy & clean. Good location and lots of shops nearby.

Flickering light in the bathroom and no car park.

Well located, clean good facilities.

We had an interconnected room, (no mention of this during the booking), poor acoustics meant noise from next room TV, talking and we had strange smells from the food they weee cooking to wake up to. Noise from elsewhere in the building too which made sleep disturbed. Shame because the property and the room were okay.
