Tout. Un lieu tellement paisible et beau, a taille humaine, le personnel incroyable (gentils, respectueux, aux petits soins), le restaurant est de la haute gastronomie, le confort de la literie… probablement le meilleur de tous les hôtels ou nous sommes allés.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’attention du personnel, qui chaque jour veille à ce que nous nous sentions parfaitement bien. Tous sont très serviables et attentionnés. Les petites attentions, aussi bien lors de la préparation de la chambre le matin que lors de la préparation du soir, sont vraiment appréciables : une petite barre chocolatée et une bouteille d’eau nous attendent notamment chaque soir dans la chambre. L’hôtel est très propre, parfaitement entretenu et la qualité de la nourriture est excellente. C’est un lieu paisible et agréable, idéal pour se déconnecter, se ressourcer et profiter pleinement de son séjour.

Point négatif : malheureusement, nous avons constaté à plusieurs reprises la présence de cafards : un dans notre chambre, un dans les toilettes publiques de l’hôtel et un autre au moment du dîner dans le restaurant principal. Nous sommes bien conscients qu’il est impossible de contrôler totalement la nature dans un environnement tropical. Cependant, ces trois observations dans des endroits différents mériteraient peut-être qu’une vérification soit effectuée afin de s’assurer que le problème reste ponctuel et sous contrôle.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Nous avons eu une attention particulière pour notre voyage de noce. Nous avons aimé la qualité du service et le personnel, comme Roy, a été très sympathique avec nous. Je recommande.

Vue sur la plage très appréciable. La chambre était très confortable. Le restaurant du petit déjeuner était excellent et copieux. Le personnel du restaurant et aussi des chambres était aux petits soins et à l’écoute à tout instant.

This boutique hotel offers the perfect combination of luxury and a warm, personal atmosphere. The staff were wonderful, with a special mention to Annabelle, Manisha, Roy, Ashwan and Kritika, who made our stay even more special. We had a beautiful ocean-view room and woke up every morning to an incredible sunrise.

The activities could be a little more flexible or planned at the beginning of the day or at the end. For example, the yoga session was scheduled in the middle of the day, which made it difficult to combine with excursions, even when we were the only two participants. The staff did try to move the class for us, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the instructor wasn’t available at another time.

bit distant from the city where it matters

The staff went above and beyond at every level from front-line team members such as Robbie, Anjuny and others. to management Suraj, Rosemary etc. accommodating early check-ins and late check-outs effortlessly whenever possible. The dining experience was exceptional, featuring fresh, made-to-order à la carte breakfasts and flavorful Creole and Western dishes curated by the chef. Prepared us things from outside of any available menu's. Beyond expectations, the stay included complimentary experiences like cooking and yoga classes, creating a perfectly peaceful atmosphere where you can truly relax and unwind.

Unfortunate weather conditions resulted in rough seas, which was out of anyone's control.

Beautiful welcome and breathtaking views. We felt right at home and had the most relaxing vacation. This intimate hotel is a lil paradise escape. The staff are extremely friendly and warm.

tout les endroits de l'hôtel sont très jolis, bien éclairé, très propre. La vue sur la Mer est très belle, la chambre est vraiment bien équipée, très propre, très confortable, le personnel est vraiment au petit soin, Roy et Robbi sont très gentils et serviable. Petit déjeuner et dîner au top, un vrai régal, le chef est très compétent.

Un manque d'explication sur les menus, dans ce qui est inclus ou non dans la demi pension. Carafe d'eau payante. Je trouve ça aberrant.

Oreillers bien trop souples, dommage. Malheureusement un souci d'infiltration au niveau de la salle de bain qui amenait une odeur de moisissure dans la chambre 101. Le personnel a été averti et le nécessaire doit être fait.

La Maison d’été était l’endroit parfait pour débuter notre séjour sur l'île. L’accueil chaleureux du personnel et la tranquillité des lieux nous ont immédiatement plongés dans une atmosphère sereine. Du matin au soir, les repas sont préparés avec soin et servis avec un vrai souci du détail par une équipe formidable. Leur cuisine réconfortante du curry accompagné de sa soupe de lentilles, du poisson frais du jour ou encore du plat de pâtes étaient de pures merveilles. Quelle belle énergie ! Nous avons maintenant changé d'hôtel, et les assiettes du chef de la Maison d'Été nous manquent déjà ! Cette adresse est précieusement enregistrée dans notre carnet de voyage. Un immense merci à Roy, Ashwan, Kritika, Anabel, à la charmante dame présente le soir au restaurant, au talentueux barman, ainsi qu'à tous les autres membres de l'équipe dont nous n'avons pas eu la chance de retenir le nom. Votre gentillesse est inoubliable !

For sure exceptional and good value for money! Spacious rooms, all with sea views. Food is good as well. I lived in 3 hotels in Mauritius and this is the best.

Me encantó todo de este hotel! La decoración es preciosa en la recepción y las habitaciones. La habitación tiene el tamaño perfecto y está totalmente equipada, y la cama era comodísima. El personal estuvo atento en todo momento y eran muy amables. Si volviera a Mauricio repetiría sin duda.

It took 3 days before hot water was consistently available. something was wrong with back up where solar was not heating the water. I don't like lukewarm showers When it rained hard water leaked from the ceiling onto bath room floor and toilet. Toilet paper soaked wet.Not good. wood effect floor lifting up and in poor state. Staff were notified. even small drip in corner of bedroom, fortunately not near bed.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument exceptionnel dans cet hôtel. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus grâce à la gentillesse, au professionnalisme et au sourire de toute l’équipe. Chaque membre du personnel était attentionné et toujours prêt à rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Un immense merci tout particulièrement à Yash, qui a largement contribué à notre bien-être tout au long de notre séjour. Sa bienveillance, sa disponibilité et son sens du service ont fait toute la différence. Il s’est toujours assuré que nous ne manquions de rien et a pris le temps de répondre à chacune de nos demandes avec le sourire. C’est grâce à des personnes comme lui qu’un simple séjour se transforme en une expérience inoubliable. L’hôtel est magnifique, les chambres sont impeccables, la nourriture est excellente et l’ambiance est parfaite pour se détendre. Nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs et reviendrons sans la moindre hésitation. Merci encore à toute l’équipe, et un grand bravo à Yash pour son accueil exceptionnel !

Petit bémol avec une chasse d’eau disfonctionel et une douche pas très chaude

L'hotel est superbe, petite structure parfaite loin des grosses infrastructures. Le personnel est exceptionnel, mention spéciale à Shalini, Roy, Kritika, Janvee, Malisha et Agnes.. La cuisine est aussi très bonne. Le lieu au bord de l'océan rend le séjour agréable

C'était la 1ère fois à Maurice pour moi et mon conjoint et cela fut parfait, que ce soit grâce aux services de l'hôtel, son emplacement proche de la mer mais surtout par la gentillesse de son équipe. Le personnel était aux petits soins que ce soit à la réception ou au restaurant (notamment Roy et Nitin). Le cadre était propice au repos, ce que nous recherchions pour notre semaine chez eux.

La Wi-Fi ne marchait pas toujours bien mais si nous sommes en vacances c'est aussi pour se déconnecter !

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel for one week and honestly could not find a single negative thing to say. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely comfortable and very well taken care of. Our room with sea view was beautiful and made our stay even more special. Housekeeping was excellent - the room was serviced twice a day, tidied and cleaned every morning with fresh towels, and in the evenings the bed was always prepared beautifully for the night. After a few days, the bed linen was also changed, which we really appreciated. What stood out the most throughout our stay was the exceptional friendliness of the entire staff. Everyone in the hotel was incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming, and the hospitality was truly outstanding. We felt genuinely cared for at all times. The entire property is very well maintained, spotless, and beautifully kept. The food was also excellent: breakfast was always fresh, delicious, and varied, and we also had dinner at the restaurant several times, which was consistently very, very good. Another highlight for us was the range of complimentary water activities, such as snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, and kayaking, which we really enjoyed and thought was a fantastic addition. To top it all off, the hotel even offered us a late check-out on their own initiative. Since our departure was only in the evening, they kindly provided us with another room where we could store our luggage, shower, and freshen up before leaving. We found this incredibly thoughtful and it made the end of our stay so much more comfortable. All in all, it was a truly fantastic stay, and we would return at any time without hesitation. We can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

If we can say anything negative it would only be the WiFi which has a pretty unstable signal… But this may also be good for a digital detox!

La Maison d'Été est un petit bout de paradis, cela grâce à Nitin, Roy, Agnès et toutes les autres personnes que nous avons croisé durant notre séjour et qui mériteraient d'être là 5ieme étoile de cet hôtel.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux à l’île Maurice. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison, entourés d’une équipe aux petits soins, à la fois discrète, attentionnée et sincèrement accueillante. L’hôtel est un véritable havre de paix, confidentiel, niché dans une partie plus sauvage et préservée de l’île, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus unique. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe d’avoir contribué avec tant de délicatesse à rendre nos fiançailles inoubliables. Tout était parfait, sans jamais être trop présent, mais toujours juste. Que rêver de mieux ? Nous repartons avec des souvenirs précieux et l’envie certaine de revenir.

All the rooms have a perfect ocean view. The staff is great, the food also very good. Every evening they bought us local chocolate and asked if we need some new towels, even they were already changed at cleanup. I celebrated my birthday there and i had a susprise from the staff at the dinner.

The Wi-fi has some problems sometimes and covers only the rooms and pools area. If you are a little bit out of this area you don't have Wi-fi internet.

I loved my stay at La Maison d’Ete. Everything was great. Lovely atmosphere, charming high quality of design and furniture, excellent choice of meals a la carte. I personally dont engy sweedish buffet. Staff was exceptionally kind, helpful and friendly. Phenomenal views unique in Mauritius. I had a perfect stay.

What I would improve is: a WIFI reception, which wasn’t working well - this is an issue if someone needs to have a video call. Cellular network is not good enough.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at La Maison d'Eté Hotel by NEWMARK! The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. The private beach is gorgeous and so peaceful, and the food was incredibly delicious throughout our trip. We also loved the room service, which was always prompt and top-notch. Every single member of the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, but a special shoutout has to go to Nitin! He was a fantastic server who truly went above and beyond to make our dining experiences special. Highly recommend!

L’accueil, le lieu, le confort, la deco, le petit déjeuner et le restaurant

Location is great with beautiful views from the appartment's balcony. We loved the beach sunbeds with fresh towels and two swimming pools to choose from. Also great snorkelling and equipment such as SUP & kayaks. .

Non-residents can also use the facilities and there was a group of very load adults in the pool just in front of our appartment, openly drinking from a bottle of whiskey. It was cloudy and the solar heater didn't work and we had cold showers for two days. They offered us a different room on the last night. There was only one SUP paddle which was also damaged. They also did garden fumigation on a beautiful wind still evening, with the fumes lingering for some time and we were confined to our apartment for half an hour.

Etablissement tres intimiste (16 chambres) et calme. Personnel au petit soin et restauration très qualitative et pas en buffet. Chambre impeccable et avec une très bonne literie et bien décorée. Belle plage. Idéal pour se reposer.

Quelques amuses geules style tapas/olives etc... seraient appreciés au bar avec les cocktails surtout pour un 5* Un détail, surtout pour les femmes, les seches cheveux ne sont pas à la hauteur de l'etablissement. Et ce n'est pas grand chose mais piscines un peu petites.

The team of excellent players all wonderful from the reception the chefs the administration the waiters and the house cleaning team. All amazing, the hotel itself is small an cozy to get to know someone. Excellent for honeymoons and those who want to get away from noise.

Just one thing . No toilet in the spa.

Our stay at La Maison d'Eté exceeded our expectations by far. This small boutique hotel with only 16 rooms is a real hidden gem. The entire property is incredibly charming and beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The sophisticated uniform clothing of the staff, the tropical architecture surrounded by the well-kept garden, the maritime décor, the subtle yet recurring coral logo — everything fits together perfectly. We were also delighted by the wide range of complimentary water sports equipment: snorkeling gear with fins, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards — there is something for everyone. The sea is a little rougher here, so you should be a confident swimmer for snorkeling and definitely wear water shoes, which are also provided. The underwater world is beautiful and well worth exploring. The food was also excellent. As vegetarians, the selection on the menu seemed a little limited at first, but upon request, additional dishes were gladly prepared for us — at no extra cost, just feel free to ask! The kitchen team was very flexible, and every meal was absolutely delicious and authentic. However, it was the hospitality and the little gestures of kindness that made the experience exceptional. Most of all, we would like to highlight the warmth and amazing spirit of the entire team. The people there made our vacation truly unforgettable. Our special thanks go to Sonam from the service team, who was always incredibly welcoming. Raj impressed us with his talent for foreign languages and his wonderful sense of humor, while Nilesh will remain in our memories because of his positive energy and cheerful personality. Nitin delivers outstanding service with such ease and professionalism — he always pays attention to every detail and remembers the guests’ preferences and habits. Because of her warm, open, and vibrant personality, we instantly took the General Manager, Rosemary, to our hearts.

Le cadre est idyllique, l’hôtel ressemble à une petite maison de vacances dans laquelle il est agréable de passer du temps. Le personnel de l’hôtel (à l’exception de la direction) est aux petits soins.

L’hôtel reste loin de tout. De plus, le comportement de la direction reste à désirer, on nous a refusé une prestation qui a été accordée le matin même à deux clients de l’hôtel, sans justification valable, à la limite du désagréable. Après cela, nous n’avons eu aucune aide pour descendre nos bagages de la chambre lors de notre départ, pendant que la direction nous regardait faire les bras croisés. Pour un hôtel de ce standing, cela nous a laissé un goût amer. Par ailleurs, le restaurant n’est pas vraiment à la hauteur, et le petit déjeuner (qui n’est pas un buffet) est beaucoup trop répétitif et peu varié.

Everything! I think it is a rare time to find a hotel where everything is perfect and I cannot recommend it enough. The whole staff was lovely since the very first day and even after the check out. Without requesting it, the receptionist offered to provide us beach towels and an umbrella that we can give back later in the afternoon. She even offered a room for a shower after the beach! The breakfast was spot on too, and the pastries were delicious. I particularly liked the human touch to this hotel: you chat with waiters during your meal, we give food to birds together, and for any questions, we can simply contact them on WhatsApp and they respond out of their working hours too. The coziness of this accommodation is like no other if you look for a proper Mauritian experience. For the first time, I see rooms and towels cleaned twice a day, with a local chocolate on bed every night. To be fair, the current rating of this hotel does not do it justice, it should be a solid 10.

They raised the bar too high. Now that I tried a more “posh” hotel not too far away, I can already see the difference in many ways: the attention and human kindness you’ll find at Maison d’été is quite special and you won’t find it elsewhere.

Les chambres ne sont clairement pas à la hauteur. 3 cafards retrouvés au niveau du lit en 4 jours. Un crabe derrière les toilettes qui en fait vivait dans l’eau des toilettes. Bonde du lavabo coincé dès l’arrivée (n’a jamais été réparé du séjour), c’est même moi qui ait réussi à la décoincé. Ménage très superficiel (draps et serviettes non changées du séjour si pas demandé). Odeur d’humidité horrible dans les placards. J’ai eu une grosse intoxication alimentaire après un petit déjeuner visiblement pas frais. Au restaurant, se trompent plusieurs fois de plats ou de commandes. Attention, tout les plats ne sont pas compris dans les formules tout inclus et vous vont payer de l’eau en carafe. Wifi catastrophique en dehors des chambres. Il y a un gros problème d’hygiène dans cet hôtel ! Il ne vaut clairement pas les 5 étoiles attribué sur booking. C’est un 3 étoiles grand maximum. Bref passez votre chemin et choisissez un autre hôtel.

Peaceful and quite atmosphere with the sounds of waves was refreshing. The staffs were greatly accomodating, special mention to Sonam and Raj for their quality service during dinner and breakfast. Various activities available including kayaking and snorkeling among others.

Rooms are a little bit outdated and needs more modern renovation and maintenance since there was a water leakage at one of the lavatories and mold on entrance door handle.

Séjour vraiment exceptionnel à l’île Maurice! Tout était parfait du début à la fin. C’était notre première fois à l’île Maurice avec eux et on n’oubliera jamais cette expérience. L’endroit est paradisiaque, le personnel est très à l’écoute et très agréable (mention spéciale à Roy et Raj), et le personnel de l’accueil trouve toujours des solutions et est aux petits soins, merci à eux. La cuisine est également délicieuse. Une expérience inoubliable !
