The Bodhi Tree Ladakh

Very bad manager and very rude behaviour. Pls be careful before booking.

The Bodhi Tree is located in a quiet peaceful area, yet at walking distance from Leh old center. The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. We had a wonderful spacious modern 55msq room with nice views from the windows. We spent there 4 nights while exploring Indus valley attractions and already booked 2 more nights for the final days of our Ladakh tour when returning from Nubra-Pangong part of our trip.

Very good hotel. We stayed in several hotels across Ladakh, and this was by far the most remarkable. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the restaurant and breakfast are both very good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Location was not good, 10-15 minutes walking from the centre (because of the height it’s important). No refrigerator

Rooms are well maintained and clean. We were received very well. The staff is very nice. The breakfast spread was great too. If you like well spiced food, then you’ll like that although we found it a bit too oily. Room service is prompt.

The views are not great especially if you are on the lower floors. We expected a much better view and so didn’t find it to be a good value for money. If a good view is not essential for you then it’s a good place to stay

Bodhi Tree is well located Close to the market. The view from the well sized rooms is lovely, important consideration since the first day on arrival is largely recommended for resting. top marks for cleanliness. The staff is friendly and helpful. Wifi works well. Breakfast is good with a reasonable spread of dishes - local, indian and western.

Maintenance of room. Few plug was not working properly. TV had issues. toilet seat cover was falling.

Everything, the property was exactly as it was on the photos. The room has beautiful Mountain View and big room as well as big bed, good and clean facility all around. Staff was all very friendly and attentive, I would definitely recommend this place as well as stay again if I ever go back to Leh.

Just a minor point but on day 3, I asked for room cleaning in the morning, and it wasn't cleaned when I got back at about 2pm. Maybe a little bit quicker service would be good.

Locatie was prima, kwartiertje stappen naar het centrum. Ontbijt prima, uitgebreid. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Prijs-kwaliteit iets minder dan wat je kan verwachten in India. Beetje outdated, mag wat opknapping krijgen, vooral in de kamers.

Ik vond het personeel erg leuk.

We have nothing to complain with! Every request was satisfied immediately. If we come back to Leh, be sure we go to Bodhi Tree.

It’s a good hotel, facilities are some of the best in Leh but you will pay for it

Fantastic service from the staff. Always helpful; whether it is arranging a permit, a taxi or even advice on where to buy a pashmina shawl. Good food options as well.

Nothing to not like here. Adding some Ladakhi food in the restaurant menu would make the experience even better.

Breakfast was average. Standard fare. Room size and view is very good. Hotel is also relatively new and clean. Staff are helpful. Hotel is just 10 mins walk from the market. Hotel is just 20 mins from the airport.

Breakfast fare could have been better. Service is slow at times especially room service. Hotel does not have alcohol. In general there is hardly any alcohol in all of Leh & Ladakh.

We lined everything especially the unobstructed view of the mountains from the room.

Rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. Rest room is also well maintained. Mountain view from the room was awesome. Garden is well maintained and food is very tasty.

The road leading to the hotel is so narrow that with one four wheeler on it, not even a two wheeler can pass. Location is a bit far from main market but manageable.

Its relatively new property. Staff is helpful. RO water refills are available for free in glass bottles. Manager helped us plan the itinerary and he and his front desk staff always remained eager to help us with permits, sight seeing, info on shopping, local cuisine and places to go.

The view from our luxury room was breathtaking. The services were great but the food was impeccable. No matter what we had- ala carta or buffet - both were just too good. May be we felt so because we reside outside india but still food was homely and comfortable.

Nice property either mesmerizing views of the mountains giving the feel of Leh. The chef is good especially with North Indian dishes. The service was extremely prompt, have rarely seen any hotwl with such prompt room service, which is exceptional. Overall every staff and the managers were very helpful and eager to answer all our queries.

The approach road, as expected in Leh is narrow and can accommodate only one car can pass through, so in the event someone comes from the other side, one has to back to give way, but nothing which the hotel can help with. The other thing which can be looked at is the fan/air conditioning as the afternoons can get hot.

We loved our 4 night stay at Bodhi tree! We had excellent service from Shanu and team.

No screen doors or windows or fan, as we felt bit warm inside rooms over the stay.

There was an absolute feeling on tranquility upon entering the courtyard then lobby of the Bodhi Tree. As Americans, we had been overwhelmed by the drive on tiny streets, honking, and mountain road from Srinagar…. The oasis of Bodhi tree for the next three days was a balm. The manager and staff were very gracious and the garden was a dream.

Loved this hotel - really clean and comfortable with large rooms - very good value for money. The staff are also lovely.

Welcoming and helpful staff: my elderly father was sick the 1st day and they were attentive in measuring oxygen levels etc, tailoring the food Options and offering general advice on altitude sickness 2. Location: walking distance from the main market and restaurants 3. Rooms: Spacious, clean and modern rooms 4. Meals 5. Trip arrangements: We booked mulfi-day trips with a driver/tour operator they recommended (Mr. Jigmat Angchuk) and he was excellent. He accomodated schedule chanhes due to my parents health, suggested goodnalternatives and options, and was very friendly and caring 5. Delicious breakfast with a variety of options (Indian/Western etc). We also ate dinner there and they tailored some menu items to our tastes (less spicy, less oily)

The property and the facilities are excellent. The staffs here were very helpful. A special mention for Mr. Sonam Stobgais for being always similing and helping in whatever way he can.

The booking deposit processing (and lack of transparency for this process) threw off a lot of my friends and made the experience bad. The breakfast buffets cost extra and aren't worth the price paid.

Excellent rooms, very warm and caring staff. Helped a lot in tiding through the medical issues due to intense cold and low oxygen saturation

Food can be a little less spicy and some more varieties in breakfast would help further

New and clean hotel, with a nice view from some of the rooms of the mountains.

This hotel is overpriced and poorly managed. I was charged for the wrong room and a friend was treated poorly when he could not use the original credit card of his booking. The breakfast is also overpriced for a basic buffet at 600 rupees. Rooms do not have heating, but space heaters are available on request. There are cheaper and nicer hotels closer to the market.

The room was quite cold initially but soon sorted with a heater and extra blanket.

Buffet / dinner was a little pricey for what it was. I had chicken that seemed undercooked. Aloo dishes were good, the rest not so much. Breakfast was somewhat better. The shower seemed on the fritz sometimes with regard to hot / cold

It was a nice stay overall. Hotel is clean, staff is courteous. Initially we were not liking the food which we ordered, but then it was perfectly Customized when we asked for it.

Loved everything about this place, super perfect
