Breakfast is made on order, with many people long delays, also not clear what they can do, the marmelade was already fermented, the butter looked dirty, clean buffet breakfast could improve all that.

Tout est bien. Bien situé, endroit calme. Chambre grande avec terrasse ensoleillée et propre. Petit déjeuner et repas copieux et très bon. Tous les légumes viennent du jardin de la propriété. Le personnel est très disponible et les patrons très avenants.

Excellent location (just 5-10 mins walk to Leh Market), beautifully done, especially the garden outside. Total value for money. The best part was the warmth and hospitality of the caretakers. I will stay there again!

The location is perfect. It is queit and peaceful, but it is a quick walk to the town center. Also, the woman who manages it is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who is visiting Leh.

Best place for 2 days mandatory acclimatization in Leh. Great hospitality, great location, great host, peaceful and serene.

Great location. It is 10 minutes walk from Leh market and close to Leh Palace. The staff is very Friendly. Rooms are Clean and spacious. Nice ambience with the vegetable garden in front. Excellent food. The owner Ms.Angmo was very helpful. We were a group of six persons and we reached Leh after spending four days in Srinagar and Kargil. We stayed for three days to get acclimatized before heading for Nubra and Pangong. We didn't want to carry our full baggage to Nubra and Ms.Angmo was kind enough to keep some of our baggage till we return. We stayed one more night on our return from Pangong at Chubi Sponbo before flying out. We requested if we all could get packed lunch since our flight was at noon. Ms Angmo provided well packed delicious lunch for all of us. Great service. The stay was pleasant and we all enjoyed the great hospitality. We do recommend Chubi Sponbo. The only minor snag is the lack of parking. It was not an issue for us because our vehicle was local hire. If you are driving your own vehicle please check with them before you book.

Can't think of anything that annoyed us. Please enquire about parking facility if you are driving your own vehicle or hired out station taxi. I Suggest providing a kettle in the room than providing hot water in Thermos flask.

Staying here is perfect. The only thing lacking is ceiling fan,as the weather was too hot 🔥.

Neat and clean , breakfast was good

The staff were well meaning and very courteous.

There was no water in the room for drinking. It was hard to locate staff members if you needed anything. As I was there for only 2 nights, it was fine. But had I been in Leh for longer, would have preferred a better property.

We had a wonderful stay at Guesthouse Chubi Sponbo and highly recommend it. The host, his wife, and all the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and more than enough to start the day. Our room was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the large balcony with its beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. The guesthouse is located a little away from the main road, which makes it very peaceful and quiet. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We would be delighted to stay here again and highly recommend Guesthouse Chubi Sponbo to anyone visiting the area!

The guesthouse is about a 15-minute walk from the town center, with a fairly steep uphill section. If you usually get around by taxi or enjoy walking, I definitely wouldn't pass on staying here.

Overall, the staff were friendly. For breakfast, they served Khambir, and I also had the opportunity to try the local apricot jam, which was a nice experience.

The staff did not give me the correct change. He seemed unwell, so I asked if he was okay. He then told me he wanted to buy medicine and asked me for ₹500.

Tres bien placé. Le centre ville est accessible à pied. La guest house est un peu en retrait de la route ce qui permet d’etre au calme. La dame était tres gentille et accueillante.

I really liked how close it was to the main bazaar and the center! The staff were so nice. I especially loved the mint tea. Breakfast was also great.

Excellent location just 5 mins walk from market and yet away from the hum of the market. Excellent scenery. The caretaker Mr Nakul is very helpful and helped a lot with even our local shopping.

Charmante guesthouse, avec un jardin potager fleuri, et des hôtes absolument fantastiques, accueillant, de bons conseil, organisant les taxis, toujours prêts à discuter et à partager, et se pliant en 4 pour leurs clients. Une mention spéciale pour la Camomille ou la menthe fraîchement cueillie dans le jardin, mises directement dans le Thermos pour des thés délicieux tout au long de la journée. De bons petits déjeuners et des dinners Ladakhi succulents. Et un grand merci pour l’aide apportée quand j’étais malade et que j’ai dû aller à l’hôpital.

The owners live on the property and are extremely warm and caring people. The food is home-like (very mild & light) which made my stay extremely comfortable. The property is very close to the main market but away from hustle bustle of Tukcha / Old Fort. Highly recommended for long stays!

The property is still WIP (like all mountain properties as they need a lot of upkeep) so all rooms do not have all the amenities listed (eg Television). I don’t watch TV so didn’t matter but mentioning this in all fairness.

Les propriétaires sont adorables et au petit soin. Les repas sont excellents, préparés avec les légumes du jardin. La vue du jardin est magnifique. On peut rejoindre le centre ville très rapidement à pieds. Nous nous sommes très bien sentis dans cette guesthouse pour faire notre acclimatation!😊

Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir pu dire au revoir le matin de notre départ car les propriétaire étaient absents.

La camera al piano terra ha poca privacy perché da direttamente sul giardino comune.

Ottima struttura: pulita, comoda e tranquilla. La colazione era sostanziosa, il personale disponibile e la posizione è un ottimo compromesso per essere vicini al centro città ma rimanendo in una zona tranquilla.

Chubi Sponbo is truly an exceptional property. We stayed here twice during our trip — once on arrival in Leh from Delhi, and again before heading back — and both experiences were wonderful. The hosts are warm, attentive, and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The property has a lovely garden, and we were even served fresh chamomile tea made straight from their own plants, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Leh!

Great location, lovely rooms and the staff is just excellent. Very kind and helpful (but don't hurry them, people in Ladakh are generally more relaxed). The garden is pretty and provides some much needed oxygen.

Our stay here was comfortable and enjoyable. The location is convenient, just a short walk to the center of Leh, and the garden is lovely. The room had everything we needed, and the value for money was very good.

Mit dem herrlichen Garten etwas von der Strasse entfernt hört man das Wasser rauschen. Es ist ein wunderbarer Rückzugsort und es gibt schöne Gartenmöbel und viele Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen. Das Zentrum von Leh ist zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen . Mein Zimmer war gross und sehr sauber.

Das Türschloss klemmte etwas.

마당 들어서자마자 예쁘고 방에서 보는 마당도 정말 예뻐서 적응기간동안 방에만 있었는데 좀 치유되는 기분이었어요,, 방이랑 화장실도 깨끗하고 핫워터도 잘 나와서 정말 편안하게 있었습니당!! 사장님과 직원들도 정말 친절해요.. 감사히 잘 있다갑니다!!!

This property offers great value for money. Walking distance from Leh market. The owners of the property are very helping and put their hearts in comforting all their guests.

Spacious room with comfortable balcony. Friendly staff members. Good location very near Namgyal Tsemo monastery and Leh palace. Spacious and quiet environment with a garden with many kinds of vegetables.

Not much information pamphlets were there, but you can find them at nearby tour companies.
