Just a suggestion. A freezer in the fridge would be helpful to keep ice packs frozen to take food and in our case insulin home in the cooler.

The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to please and satisfy. From the moment we walked in, the desk staff, restaurant staff, and hosts were amazing! They put our bikes in a locker for us, brought us extra towels when we needed them, and the host in the restaurant/lounge was super sweet and fun to talk to. My 13-year-old daughter was enjoying the conversation too!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast much better than most hotel breakfasts

The bath towels are old and too small. The too small was more of an issue, they are smaller than a store bought bath towel.

A couple of staff members at the breakfast buffet were kind of miserable as if they didn't want to be there. One in particular seemed astonished when I asked about brown sauce for my food.

Close to all the shops you would need and the main strip. There was construction but it didnt bother us. The space itself is very nice. Bright, clean, lots of nice seating and a really nice breakfast!!

Bathroom tub had previous guest’s hair all over it. Was clearly not cleaned thoroughly. Expensive for the room and location.

They didn’t come to clean our room until 4pm and we were back by then getting ready for dinner.

A tad pricy for what you get.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing, comfortable, and luxurious from the moment we arrived. One of my favorite things was the lobby. It was very spacious, with a great variety of comfortable seating areas, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the rooms were spotless. The beds were very comfortable, the food was delicious, and the location was excellent and convenient. The only downside was the price, which we felt was a little higher than expected. Other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We would be happy to stay here again.

Shower didn't work in swimming area reported it Porridge too thick one minute like water the next

Weekend breakfast should also start at 7am. We needed to leave early and couldn't have breakfast. Also the mattress was not very comfortable.

Staff were extremely accommodating. I had a business meeting in the morning and staff provided this with no questions asked. I travel frequently and have not had this kind of service. Thanks.

Everything was great. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - a good selection of sweet and savoury, warm and cold options. We used the gym, the pool, and the game room - all were well-maintained. Would recommend for a couple's gateway or family vacation.

The only negative thing was that we found a plate and a mug among the clean piles in the breakfast room that were clearly dirty. There were clean options, still finding a dirty plate in the same stack of clean ones was not a good experience.

Nice place to visit, wish we had more time to explore the area. Possibly come again next year. Thx

Everything was awesome

Great place to stay , my teens enjoyed game room, played few rounds of billiards. The breakfast is incredible, beautiful fresh fruit salad , waffles, eggs, cereal and much more. Definitely will be back when next time in the area.

We stayed here as a family of four and had such a wonderful experience that we’re already talking about coming back. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind — it really set the tone for our stay. The hotel itself was spotless, which made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Breakfast was a daily highlight! There was such a delicious variety — fresh fruits, eggs, different breads, waffles, and pancakes — something for everyone. Our kids especially looked forward to it each morning! One of the best parts of our stay was the pool. Our children absolutely loved it, and the hotel kindly let us enjoy a final swim even after checking out, which meant a lot to us. It gave us a chance to stretch out the fun just a little longer. The location couldn’t have been better — just a short walk to Port Elgin’s beautiful main beach, and very close to grocery stores and a great selection of restaurants downtown. Everything we needed was right there. This trip was about creating family memories, and this hotel played a big part in making them so special. We felt cared for, relaxed, and completely at ease. Highly recommend for families looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality.

Fantastic location, just a 5-minute drive to the beach, with restaurants and grocery stores close by. The heated pool was a lovely bonus, and the rooms were clean. Front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. Breakfast was good. Overall, the experience felt more like a 4-star hotel. Would definitely stay here again!.

Property was clean, staff professional. Buffet breakfast was plentiful. The hotel was sold out though and by 830am there were more than 20 people in line. And when you’re paying $600/night, I’m not leaving without breakfast!

Good selection of breakfast. Room has a good size of fridge and microwave. Lobby always have coffee and hot water available 24/7.

The only problem was smoking out front, you have to walk pass anyone smoking to use the front entrance.

Good for a cookie cutter hotel. Front staff was very friendly but staff during breakfast were a bit bothered to help out. Maybe it was an off day. Clean rooms and for the most part, clean bathrooms. We needed an extra set of towels (4 guests, 3 sets of towels) and called for an extra set. We were told that we’d have to come pick it up if we wanted anymore which I found was inconvenient especially for the high price point of such a basic hotel. The area is also very quiet at night. Even the nearby neighbourhood of SouthHampton was a ghost town.

As usual, perfect stay, super nice hotel, extremely friendly staff.
