Its a lovely hotel however not being able to book in till 3pm and having to be out by 11am does not give you time to use the facilities also its very busy with people with memberships. Food is not the best not very many options and not good even for a snack. We paid for tray service for breakfast at a cost of £5 and food wad really cold. We couldn't eat it. Parking was a nightmare but they are doing work so some of the car park was fenced off. It would have been nice to have pre warning by email. Also cold room as for conditioning wouldn't turn off

Pullout bed wasn't made up on arrival..and head end was directly underneath low hanging lights. Had to pull bed out further into middle of floor so didn't bang head sitting up...but the cushion wasn't resting against a wall or headboard then

Very nice hotel. Very comfortable room and huge bed. Lovely. We didn't use the spa but those in our party who did said it was amazing.

They need mores staff on reception with it being both a health club reception as well as a hotel. Queued quite a while to check in and to check out. We ate at the hotel in the evening and the meals were fine but nothing special. My veg curry was supposed to be a dhansak but there was nothing sweet/sour about it. I felt breakfast was a let down for £16pp. Usual offering of cereal, fruit and break and then very limited hot food. Very below par for the standard of hotel.

The location is beautiful and the space gives you a sense of luxury . I have been to many places but this place definitely gives you luxurious feel and the cleanliness is exceptional which is extremely important to us .

The toom was spacious, the bathroom was excellent, the bed was very comfortable with a,choice of pillows. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The spa was great.

It's not a dislike but we thought that they could offer a discount in the restaurant/bar for people staying at the hotel

The breakfast wasn't adequate for the amount of people at the hotel, one toaster which caused a fuss and it was very overpriced, my son was 14 and he was charged for an adult breakfast but only eats toast so it was a bit annoying.

Convenient location for our stay, clean, comfortable and well maintained. The fact you could have a take away and the hotel would provide crockery and cutlery.

The bar and restaurant didn't have any ambience, they were quite stark. Chairs in the bar area uncomfortable.

Member of staff poolside on Saturday morning wasn't particularly welcoming! Toilets in family/accessible change area smelly.

Our booking was messed up, a discount was given as a compensation which mitigated the problem but we would have much preferred a weekend break instead of moving between hotels. We were lucky to be able to find a room on the Friday, if we hadn’t that would have been a disaster

The staff are very friendly and efficient. Being a world champion powerlifter I was happy the gym had excellent equipment for me to train. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is excellent. The restaurant menu could be better with freshly prepared food. I was disappointed the sticky toffee pudding included bananas. Why spoil a good pudding! Needless to say I didn't order it.

Absolutely amazing hotel we stayed for our anniversary. The spa is fantastic one of the best jacuzzi and steam rooms I’ve been in Most of all the staff on reception are so friendly warm and genuine Laura the manager thank you for looking after us. We will be back again

This is an interesting mix. It has very spacious and well-appointed rooms to stay (some with wheel-chair accessible showers). The rooms have excellent temperature controls. Beds are substantialand clean. Breakfast is additional and fairly basic. There's,however, a conference and banquetting centre, a well'supplied bar, a fitness centre (available to hotel guests) and even a golf course. It's quiet as the complex is away from major roads. Staff are pleasant and helpful. A good place to stay.

Breakfast was good... however, a really small thing... it would be a small effort to put salt & pepper on each of the breakfast tables. I'm not sure if I am being a bit high maintenance on that!

Slow play is ridiculous, over 3 hours to play 11 holes, other golfers just walking across the fairways whilst your teeing off, waiting on every tee box before you can tee off, not enjoyable

Swimming pool and spa facilities were great, but during the evening we had an hours wait for food, so got very little chance to use them.

There was a problem with our check in. We were not given the option to put a meal on the room bill. So when we were trying to get food this added to the delays, and a larfe party were given priority... we were told about this, after having waited for more than half an hour. The room had a very complicated aircon controller, which had a display problem. One of the bedside lights did not work. One of the public area toilets had a broken flush.

Visited the Tythrington for golf, it took us 3 hours to get to the 11th hole, it was taking nearly 6 hours to play 18, so we decided to leave along with several other T times. Over booked T times, no course Marshalls and some very poor golf being played, hence them taking so long to look for balls. This course needs managing. I would not recommend playing here on a weekend, to many society’s, and to many pay and plays. I feel sorry for the members

Exceptionally clean, modern, light & airy. Really friendly local staff. Decent gym and the golf course looks great (though we didn’t play), though the gym equipment needed an app download to work properly - should be a ‘guest’ setting on equipment to allow it to be used by guests who don’t wish to download and create an account on an app they will never use again.

Lack of safe in the room. Breakfast area (Dorchester Suite) is soulless - it’s a function room with a closed-off bar, and looks like that. No info provided saying one can order eggs done differently to fried. Breakfast was basic c/f other hotels.

Breakfast hot food had run out, and had to wait 10 mins , for it to come out, only beens and mushrooms were available. Would of liked tomatoes, Went to use salt conderment, and the plug was missing so no salt, orange juice was empty

Good location, the spa pool was to hot, the steam room was'nt working on the sunday, i had to made the pool attendant aware of the situation. My husband could'nt use the spa facilities on day 2 because the area was to hot, he found it uncomfortable! Breakfast was a disaster on Sunday the 21st of June fruit bowls were empty no yogurt , no bowls for fruit or cereal, people had to ask staff for these items ,little baked beans a few eggs and a few saucages. Breakfast was much better organised on Monday, Imelda was working on her own, but everything was well stocked and very organised, she was pleasant and made people feel welcome! The tea tray in the bedroom was very dusty and the room was set up for single occupancy. On the first night there were no pizza's available , food was average and drinks very expensive.
