Ein wundervoller Ort zum entspannen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal absolut liebenswert. Vom ersten Eindruck des Strandes bitte nicht verwirren lassen. Wenn man sich nach rechts begibt und etwas am Strand entlang läuft, kommen sehr schöne Plätze.

Der laute Ruf des Muezzins, den man in einem primär buddhistisch/ hinduistisch geprägten Land nicht vermutet, ließ uns regelmäßig in aller Frühe aufwachen. Abhilfe schaffen eventuell Ohropax.

Frühstück war gut, Abendessen auch, Lage in der Nähe zum Public Beach, dieser war wegen eines Vollmondfestivals sehr überlaufen, aber in der Nähe finden sich nette ruhige Platze, fussläufig am Meer, das Meer und der Strand waren sehr schön, die Unterkunft hat sehr nettes Personal, v.a. Justin hat es uns angetan, der sehr gut kocht und auch im Service seine sehr freundliche Art zeigt, die Zimmer haben eine kleine Veranda und man blickt ins Grüne, der neue Pool und der schöne grüne Garten haben gut getan und wirken als eine Ruheinsel

am öffentlichen Strand relativ viele Einheimische, sehr laut, die Unterkunft ist ruhig, allerdings sind mehrmals am Tag die Gebetsrufe und -Gesänge von muslimischer und hinduistischer Seite per Lautsprecher von nicht unerheblicher Lautstärke zu vernehmen

Food is top notch. Justin is an amazing cook and host. All staff catered to our every need. Friendly, accommodating, and a very welcoming.. Clean rooms, with food that was cooked fresh and seasonal. If we wanted a bike they would make it happen, if we needed laundry doing, they would make it happen, if we wanted massage they would get it at a discounted rate. Very highly recommend. Thank you Justine for your wonderful accomodating nature.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment chez Jeys, l’emplacement est assez calme et l’environnement avec le jardin est magnifique. La piscine est un gros plus, surtout le soir après des journées intenses à marcher. Justin est très sympa et il cuisine divinement bien. Vous pouvez y prendre tous vos repas, petit-déjeuner compris.

Malheureusement ce n’est pas la faute de l’établissement mais la rue d’à côté est extrêmement polluée avec énormément de déchets.

Le personnel était très agréable, toujours souriant et aux petits soins. Le restaurant était très bon avec du choix. La piscine était aussi très bien.

숙소에 물도 없고 컵도 없었다. 세면대 수도꼭지는 빙글 빙글 돌아갔고 수압이 아주 약해 샤워하기 매우 불편했다. 이런 불편함도 잊게 해 줄 수 있는 게 사림의 마음인데 주인은 거만한 태도와 탐욕으로 처음엔 물도 주지 않으려고 했었다. 가격이 시설에 비해 비싸고 두 번 다시 오고 싶지 않다. The accommodation did not provide any drinking water or even cups. The faucet at the sink kept spinning around, and the water pressure was extremely weak, making it very uncomfortable to take a shower. Even these inconveniences could have been overlooked if they had been made up for by the kindness and hospitality of the owner. However, the owner was arrogant and greedy, and at first, he was even reluctant to provide us with water. Considering the facilities and the level of service, the price was far too expensive. I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend this place to others.

La gentillesse du personnel qui était attentionné et à l’écoute. On a eu de bons échanges. La piscine, le jardin arboré Le restaurant sur place vaut vraiment le détour !

Muy/muy buen alojamiento en Trincomalee. Tanto las instalaciones, la habitación, el personal y el restaurante son de 10. Jey es muy amable, servicial, nos ayudo con un par de excursiones...en resumen, le gusta lo que hace. Cenamos las dos noches en su restaurante y todo estaba espectacular, también muy buen desayuno. Está a 5 minutos andando de la playa. Tiene una buena piscina, que siempre se agradece al llegar por la tarde. Si os alojáis aquí, tenéis que ir a Pigeon Island y hacer una excursión para ver ballenas/delfines, Jey os ayudará. La playa de Nilaveli está llena de gente local por la tarde, vale mucho la pena ir.

Sehr gelungen waren der sehr schöne und weitläufige Pool, die schöne Anlage um die Bungalows herum sowie das sehr leckere Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant. Auch die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr zuvorkommend!

Unser Badezimmer war nicht sehr sauber und das Zimmer war sehr lieblos gestaltet.

Rien a redire la prestation etait largement a la hauteur de nos attentes. Le personnel a su se plier en quatre pour nous, je recommande vivement.

A lovely place with a warm, homely atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, from Jey, the owner, to Anthony Justin, the chef, and all the other staff whose names, unfortunately, we don’t remember. It was lovely to start the morning with a swim in the pool. The beautiful, peaceful beach is just a 10-minute walk away, and the location is very convenient. The meals are cooked with love — especially the fried chicken and the pancakes. Highly recommended!

This is an absolute gem in the heart of Nilaveli! Just 5mins walk down the road to the main beach, and with a pool of its own to enjoy as well. Just 20+mins tuktuk from Trincomalee too, which you can sort through Uber at a very cheap price. Great location, brilliant team of staff who couldn’t have been more helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was also lovely, thank you for having us!

Magnifique séjour chez Jey, le propriétaire, qui nous a chaleureusement accueillis et nous a aidés pour l'organisation de la sortie à Pigeon Island et le transfert suivant. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Le jardin est magnifique, le restaurant est top, nous nous sommes régalés à tous les repas. Un grand merci à Justin le chef qui assure en cuisine et qui est particulièrement amical. La piscine est belle. Les cabanes sont simples mais tout le nécessaire est là. Nous avons eu deux chambres communicantes et c'est parfait pour un séjour en famille. Merci beaucoup à toute l'équipe !

Les cabanes sont très simples, pas de produits dans la salle de bains, mon lit aurait pu être plus confortable. Mais cela n'a pas entaché notre séjour.

Struttura a 10 minuti dalla spiaggia di Nilaveli. Personale estremamente disponibile e accorto, anche grazie al supporto a 360º offerto da Justin. Anche il ristorante decisamente buono e a buon prezzo!

Sicuramente rivedibile l’allestimento delle camere e dei bagni.

tutto. lo staff è incredibile, grazie Justin, e il proprietario Jey è una persona bravissima. sono cuochi ottimi quindi mangiare in struttura è consigliatissimo (soprattutto il pesce). la struttura è bellissima assieme anche alla piscina. in 16 giorni in Sri Lanka è stata la migliore struttura dove abbiamo alloggiato, fidatevi.

Our family of four stayed at Jey's for 5 days and had a really good time. Guests stay in small houses spread out over a nice green garden full of flowers, palm trees and mango trees, the rooms are simple but clean, and there is a newly built pool at the backside of the property. What made our stay particularly nice was the friendly interaction with Jey and the staff (a big compliment to Kamal, Justin! Faisal we spoke less to but had the kindest smile), good food (after trying various restaurants in town, we ended up always eating at Jey's because in the end the food was the best...again compliments to Justin and Kamal) and the small, intimate character of the accommodation. It felt a little bit like coming home when we returned after a day at the beach. All in all, we would happily return and can genuinely recommend staying at Jey's.

Lekker restaurant met medewerkers die goed engels spreken zodat je precies kan uitleggen wat je wil.

Het is niet ver lopen naar het strand, maar als het nog dichter bij was, was het nog beter.

We hielden van het personeel!! De koks Kamel en Justin hebben ons enorm verwend! Het eten is echt fantastisch. Ze willen ook alles aan je uitleggen en zijn super vriendelijk! Faisal is her manusje van alles en helpt je waar hij kan. We hebben genoten!

Het was erg warm, maar we hadden prima airco!

Jey is een superaardige man die alles voor je regelt waar je om vraagt. Hij heeft 2 topkoks in dienst die heerlijk eten bereiden en een mannetje voor alle randzaken. Wij voelden ons deel van de familie. Heerlijke dagen doorgebracht op deze plek en in het zwembad. Aanrader !

Het is een eenvoudig maar comfortabel hotel. Het is er schoon en de kamers zijn ruim. Het personeel is fantastisch. Jey, de eigenaar was er ook. Hij is ook een topper. Ze doen alle moeite. Het eten is super lekker! Er zijn twee super goede koks die voor het eten zorgen. Het zwembad is lekker ruim. De afstand tot het strand is ongeveer 10 minuten lopen.

Clean, quiet, lovely helpful staff and owner. Incredibly accommodating. Great food. Beautiful much appreciated large and clean pool (with jacuzzi jets and lights at night!). Shady verandah. Short walk to beach and restaurants and dive/snorkelling schools. We had a very relaxing, very enjoyable four day stay and greatly appreciate the place and everyone who made our visit so good. Absolutely massive garden and the owner has exciting plans. Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Jey. De eigenaar en het personeel zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn ruim en hebben comfortabele bedden. Het nieuwe zwembad en de mooie tuin zijn een echte meerwaarde. Het restaurant heeft een uiststekende prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Chef kok Kamal staat altijd klaar om een topgerecht te bereiden en houdt rekening met de wensen van de gasten wat betreft specerijen en suikers.

Un hotel a 700 mètres de l'océan Indien. Des chambres confortables et propres, une piscine génial avec son beau jardin. Un propriétaire charismatique et accueillant. Que dire de Kamal et sa cuisine qui respire la générosité. Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment. Merci a toute l’equipe du Jeys's Place. On recommande sincèrement.

L hôtel composé de petits bungalow est très bien situé à 10mn à pieds de la plage. Une grande plage face à Pigeon s island. L accueil de Justin a été parfait, sympathique et de bons conseils. Possibilité de louer des scooters ce qui est très pratique et facile De plus Justin est un excellent cuisinier, recettes fraîches, Sri Lankaises, nous nous sommes régalées. Présent mais discret Justin a pu nous raconter son pays. Nous recommandons cette adresse

Justin went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and his English, cooking skills and stories are great. He’s such an asset to the business. The room was clean and comfortable with a small fridge. It’s about a 10min walk to the beach which is very popular with Sri Lankans on the weekends. Lots of small home restaurants to eat at and small shop over the road with a beautiful family running it.

Only improvements would be a mosquito net and a pool 😄

Eine tolle Unterkunft, Nilavelli ist ein schöner und entspannter Ort. Justin kümmert sich um alles was benötigt wird und ist dazu noch ein super Koch. Wir würden wiederkommen und geben eine klare Empfehlung.

Dit is ongetwijfeld de beste accommodatie van Nilaveli Beach. Op 8 minuten stappen ben je op het prachtige strand. De kamers zelf zijn heel proper en Jey zelf is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vergeet vooral niet te eten in het restaurant, Justin is een fantastische kok. Aanrader!

Lovely calm place! Jeya has been a great host. I really enjoyed my little chats with him. The restaurant offers great meals. His staff members, especially Justin, were super attentive and took good care of us. The garden is huge and well looked after.

We spent three nights at JEY’s Place and the experience was unforgettable. The property is surrounded by a beautiful garden, just a few steps from the sea and the most beautiful beach in Trincomalee, with comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need. The real added value, however, is the people: Jey, the owner, welcomes guests with warmth and passion, sharing his story and love for his land. Justin, with his culinary expertise, introduced us to impeccable traditional dishes, always using fresh ingredients, and together with Jey, he was always committed to meeting every need, even organizing trips and activities with the locals. Nous étions en famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants) et on s'y sentait comme à la maison. Nous logions dans une maison avec 2 chambres communicantes. C'était l'idéal. Les petits dej et dîners étaient délicieux, préparés par Justin. Notre hôte était aussi très gentil, chaleureux et de bons conseils. A noter : la magnifique plage est à 5 minutes à pieds et on trouve facilement des transats à la journée, gratuit en partant sur la droite.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura due notti. Purtroppo mio figlio proprio in quei giorni è stato poco bene ma il manager è stato gentilissimo e ci ha fornito massima assistenza per assicurarci di avere tutta la tranquillità necessaria. Stanze ben pulite con AC e frigo in camera. Ogni stanza si affaccia su un bellissimo giardino molto curato.Il posto è abbastanza vicino alla spiaggia raggiungibile tranquillamente a piedi in 10 min di camminata. Personale TOP super cortese ,

Jey's Place is fantastic. The owner Jey, chef Justin and Prasanth make sure you have a great stay. The apartments are clean and calm and the garden area really stands out in the street, it's really pretty. We stayed for 2 nights, but we would have loved to stay more. It's always fully booked, and rightfully so. If you are going to Nilaveli, this is the place to stay!

Staff molto gentile e disponibile, è come essere in famiglia! Posizione molto comoda, struttura tenuta bene. Ristorante molto buono (Justin cucina con una passione incredibile). Ci tornerei subito!

Si potrebbe mettere un divisorio per la doccia in bagno. La struttura non accetta carte di credito.

Tohle místo nás dostalo svou příjemnou atmosférou. Postel byla pohodlná a vše bylo čisté. Místo je kousek od pláže a všichni zaměstnanci zde jsou velice milý a vstřícní. V areálu je restaurace, kde vám Justin připravý ale opravdu výborné místní jídlo k snídani, obědu i k večeři. Určitě doporučujeme.

Někomu by mohlo vadit, že se zde neosprchujete teplou vodou. Nám to vzhledem k teplotám na Srí Lance ani nevadilo.

Hélas pas d’eau chaude

Struttura posizionata a 5 min a piedi dalla bellissima spiaggia di Nilaveli. Appena arrivati il personale ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio, sembra di essere tornati nella casa al mare di ogni estate. Il proprietario Jey è una persona sensibile e attenta alle esigenze dei propri ospiti. Anche gli altri membri dello staff sono gentili e disponibili. Le camere sono semplici ma confortevoli e pulite. Il punto forte della struttura è rappresentato dal ristorante presente all’interno che serve piatti locali di pesce alla griglia gustosi e ben preparati. Una menzione particolare va allo chef Justin, che vi coccolerà con i suoi piatti deliziosi e una materia prima di qualità (pesce fresco ogni giorno). Noi abbiamo passato 2 notti ma avremmo voluto soggiornare oltre. Grazie ancora Jey per averci coccolato.

Tout était très bien. Joli jardin, jolie chambre. Restaurant super bon, pas la peine d'aller ailleurs. Mon mari a voulu essayer et franchement Justin fait super bien à manger. Son lemon minth est super et le craaabe un délice

The stay was simply fantastic! The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the bed is exceptionally large and comfortable. The owner and his team are passionate about what they do and go out of their way to fulfill every wish—always with a smile and genuine hospitality. A special mention goes to Justin’s outstanding cooking skills, turning every meal into a true delight. Thank you for such an unforgettable and wonderful time!

De kamers zijn schoon, ruim en comfortabel. Kortom prima. Fijn om buiten onder de veranda te kunnen zitten. Er is ook een ontspanningsruimte met tv en spel. De eigenaar en zijn personeel zijn erg begaan met hun gasten, erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en hebben humor. Het restaurant is een fijne plek om te zijn, met een prima menukaart. Justin is een proffesionele kok en maakt heerlijke gerechten. De eigenaar heeft tips en contacten om dingen voor je te regelen (bv snorkelen). Er is een stukje aangenaam zandstrand gericht op westerns.

De omgeving is soms wat rommelig en wat minder sfeervol als je daar hoge eisen aan stelt. Prima uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes. In je accomodatie is de sfeer daarentegen fijn!

Chambres confortables et possibilité d avoir 2 chambres mitoyennes dans une petite maison privée ce qui est idéal pour une famille. L accueil exceptionnel et très familial de toute l équipe. Les conseils avisés pour organiser séjour et activités. Localisation au calme avec magnifique jardin à 10 minutes de la plage. Restaurant excellent.

Nous avons pu bénéficier de 2 chambres communicantes, propres et bien équipées avec une petite terrasse à l'abri des autres logements de l'hôtel. Pas de petit-déjeuner compris, mais possibilité de le prendre ainsi que les repas (à toute heure) au restaurant de l'hôtel. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire et du personnel.

le changement d'information entre le moment où nous avons réservé et quelques jours avant l'arrivée où nous appris que finalement il n'y avait pas de possibilité de loger le chauffeur guide. Il existe cependant des accueils à proximité.

Leider hatten wir Nachts Probleme mit dem Lärm in der Umgebung. Zu Laute Musik aus dem Restaurant und Gebete am sehr frühen Morgen

Super point de vue qualité prix. Le lit très grand et confortable. La chambre grande et agréable. Il y a de quoi déposer ses affaires. Le frigo est un grand plus. La salle de bain est très mignonne avec ses dauphins. Un seul regret, c'est qu'on n ''a pas pu prendre 2 nuits supplémentaires mais on a mangé tous les soirs au restaurant. Justin est un super cuisinier. J'ai dégusté le meilleur crabe de ma vie! J'ai " sucé" chaque morceau pour ne pas en perdre une miette, la sauce à l'ail était trop bonne. Le lendemain, j'ai pris un curry de crabe, pareil, je me suis pourléchée les babines.. les légumes grillés sont très bons et le jus de lemon à la menthe est le meilleur que j'ai pu boire au Sri Lanka.Je ne conseille pas le thon au Sri Lanka. Au Cap Vert, il était bien meilleur. Le service est également super et j'ai pu me connecter au haut parleur du restaurant pour 2 Petites danses.

A l'écart de la foule de Trinquemalay, la plage est magnifique et tranquille, mer calme pour la baignade. Les bungalows sont confortables et surtout on y mange délicieusement. Les discussions avec Jey sont très intéressantes.

Je n'ai pas aimé la proximité avec les voisins sur la terrasse du bungalow. Il faudrait une petite séparation en bambou par exemple.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert. Mosquitonetz gab es keines, aber es gab auch keine Mosquitos (evtl hätte man aber auf Nachfrage ein Netz bekommen). Super waren der kleine Kühlschrank und die Terrasse, auf der wir morgens Yoga gemacht und unseren Kaffee getrunken haben. Wir konnten auch unsere Wäsche waschen und aufhängen. Der Garten ist sehr schön. Es gibt Blumen, einen kleinen Teich mit bunten Fischen, Streifenhörnchen, Vögel und hin und wieder kommt eine Kuh vorbei. Man darf auf der Terrasse kein Essen unbeaufsichtigt stehen lassen, die Krähen holen es sich sonst sofort :) Das Personal ist top. Justin war sehr freundlich, spricht gutes Englisch und ist ein fantastischer Koch. Wir können den gegrillten Fisch, die Nudeln mit Huhn und den Passionsfruchtsaft sehr empfehlen. Man muss sich Zeit nehmen; das Essen und die Säfte werden ganz frisch zubereitet. Die Unterkunft organisiert auch Fahrer und Ausflüge (zB nach Angel Rock). Der Strand ist 8 Gehminuten weg, am Strand sieht man beim Schnorcheln leider nichts. Man muss also wirklich einen Ausflug machen, wenn man Riffe sehen will. Wir waren tauchen und waren überrascht, wie vielfältig die Korallen hier sind (unsere Erwartungen waren eigentlich sehr niedrig). Große Fische sieht man nicht, aber Muränen, Clownfische, Feuerfische, Skorpionfische, Muscheln, Humphead Parrotfish, Triggerfische und viele Nudibranches. Wir hatten auch das Glück zwei Schildkröten und einen Cuttlefish beim Tauchen zu sehen. Wir können den Tauchplatz Bus Station empfehlen, es gibt zwar keine Korallen aber Fische. Leider war es sehr wenig und bewölkt, daher war die Sicht beim Tauchen echt nicht gut (ca 6-10m).

Leider wurden wir in der Früh vom Gesang aus einem Hindutempel geweckt. Der Tempel ist eigentlich nicht nah, aber man hört es in ganz Nilaveli. Dafür kann aber die Unterkunft nichts. Ansonsten war es immer ruhig. Leider liegt außerhalb der Unterkunft viel Müll. Aber in der Unterkunft selbst war es sauber.

La proximité de la plage, la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel, le jardin avec une pelouse et des arbres , le tout bien entretenu, les bons repas! Cette guest housse nous a beaucoup plu. Un centre ayurvédique juste en face pour profiter d'un massage au top!

Nous avons aimé absolument tout. Jey, Justin et mister P. ont fait de notre séjour un moment relaxant et très agréable. La chambre est parfaite avec beaucoup d'intimité, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Ils sont très arrangeants et très professionnels. Justin cuisine à la demande et c'est délicieux. Nous sommes restés une semaine, nous avons plongé tous les jours au centre à côté, c'était incroyable. Ce matin ça a été difficile de partir. J'espère revenir un jour.

The property is very nice and a very short walk to the beach. The room was comfortable and clean and there is a large rack for drying wet clothes and towels as well as several clotheslines on the property which was very helpful. The restaurant on site had great food and was very reasonably priced. Jey and all of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! You will definitely feel well looked after. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed for 6 days and had no complaints!

Abbiamo prenotato una stanza non A/C per tre notti al jey's Place . La stanza è semplice ma l'ambiente è davvero curato .il prato all'inglese e le piante creano un'atmosfera perfetta dove rilassarsi. Il personale è gentile e premuroso. Justin il cuoco è professionale e crea le pietanze al momento dai prodotti freschi. È gentile con gli ospiti e sempre disponibile per ogni richiesta. Anche il ragazzo che serve ai tavoli è gentile e disponibile. Davvero un ottimo staff. Si trova lungo l'unica strada che porta alla spiaggia di nilaveli. Consigliato.
