Living outdoors with comfort, variety of beautiful nature and animals(mainly birds) at your doorstep. Wifi isn’t the best, but this makes you put down your phone and laptop for once. Wellness was really good, they bring you martini’s in the hottub. Staff was very helpfull and friendly! Hikes nearby, we did a 15km jungle loop (if you start from Lumbre It’s actually 22km, you can take transportation to the start but we are to cheap to pay for transport if we’re hiking that day anyway)

This felt like a bucket list place to stay. We visited for our honeymoon and it has given us the most incredible memories. The staff were so friendly and attentive and added to the 5 star feel of this place. The actual lodge was spectacular. Waking up to the amazing views, having breakfast delivered to our room, doing yoga on our terrace and laying by the fire - we felt truly at peace here and wish we could experience it all again. The bedroom and bathroom are beautifully decorated to a high standard and very comfortable. We ate at the restaurant where we had delicious food which is very reasonably priced and they have a selection of board games/cards which you can use while you have a drink/food. We visited shortly after the earthquake and this did not affect our stay at all. The local area is up and running as normal and there was no point we did not feel safe here. We would recommend staying here to everyone and hope we have the chance to return one day!

The nature, relaxing vibes.

The property is in the beautiful Cocora valley, the nature is simply stunning and you feel at peace the moment you arrive. Location is great as allows you to enjoy the Salento area while being immersed in the nature. The facilities are good and very well maintained. Also the staff is very nice and available.

They refused to cancel and refund the reservation despite the earthquake has impacted the area. It is true that fortunately the property had not damages and city of Salento was only marginally impacted but Pereira is the main airport to get there and it was closed - not allowing refund was unfair considering we had to over engineer our trip and spend huge amount of time travelling to arrive there. Also food quality is way below standard for such an expensive hotel.

Un petit coin insolite au calme et en pleine nature. Les tentes sont isolées les unes des autres. Le soir, la terrasse offre une vue magnifique sur les étoiles avec un poêle à gaz pour se réchauffer. La literie est confortable ainsi que la salle de bains. Les repas sont bons. Endroit isolé de la ville qui nécessite un taxi pour s’y rendre. On a aimé à 100%.

Stunning place. Diego and all the staff were so friendly and helpful, giving us tips and advice about which coffee farm tour to get and the cocora valley hike. Waking up every morning to birds and sipping cocoa tea looking at the sky was a highlight. Would recommend staying here for anyone looking for a gorgeous little nature retreat whilst in Colombia. The waterfalls were also a highlight!! Thanks so much to the team for a truly memorable stay!

The property was beautiful. The rooms were comfortable. We managed to do all the activities that were suggested by the stuff. Salento was in very good conditions, despite the earthquake, which did not affect any of our activities.

Vinimos al hotel unos días luego del horrible terremoto de Pereira, que vivimos en la ciudad. Dudamos mucho en venir y estamos muy felices de haber decidido hacerlo. El hotel está en perfectas condiciones, y es un espacio de relajación y contacto con la naturaleza único-nunca había vivido algo tan magnífico, relajante e impresionante. Ir al hotel fue muy fácil porque las carreteras están en perfecto estado. Apenas llegamos al hotel, nos facilitaron todo para que pudiésemos ir hacia la cascada de Cocora, caminata que nos sumergió en un espacio paradisiaco y de belleza natural. Desplazarnos desde el hotel hacia atracciones en la región fue también muy fácil por la calidad y alta disponibilidad de transportes desde el hotel (jeeps, ubers y taxis facilitados por el staff del hotel). Pudimos disfrutar del pueblo de Salento, que sólo fue ligeramente impactado por el terremoto y que sigue recibiendo turistas del mundo entero para mostrarles parte del encanto pintoresco del eje cafetero. Caminar en el valle de Cocora fue simplemente mágico. Por sobre todo, el staff de Lumbres es increíblemente humano, lleno de gentileza y muy servil. Gracias a ellos, nos sentimos como en una burbuja de paz y de rejuvenecimiento luego de haber vivido días difíciles por el terremoto. Millón de gracias por todo; finalmente el único riesgo que tuvimos al ir a Lumbres fue el de querernos quedar - esperamos volver muy pronto!

We had an incredible stay here. Pablo, the owner/manager went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed a few days after the earthquake and were happy to hear the property was still up-and-running as usual and thankfully unaffected. The nearby town of Salento was also minimally affected and up-and-running. We did a coffee tour in town, the iconic Cocora Valley hike and enjoyed massages at Lumbre Forest Lodge along with their incredible amenities: stargazing, birdwatching, hike to the amazing waterfall adjacent to the property, wonderful food and drink and amazing staff.

Everything truly exceeded our expectations. They only drawback may have been the bumpy road between the main road and the property, but we were able to do it in our rented Kia. If you have a van or SUV it’s definitely no concern and was fine with a compact car taking it slow. Also a small price to pay for the isolation and quiet solitude that comes with the stay. It’s also a pretty short distance.

The lodge is located on the most beautiful property with amazing views and lots of birds. There is a short hike you can do on the property which takes you to two waterfalls where you can swim. The lodge is conveniently located between Salento and the Cocora Valley.

The food options are very limited so if you’re staying for more than one night I would suggest having dinner in Salento which is a cute town with lots of bars and restaurants.

Le retour à l’hôtel obligatoire à 21h car la porte de l’hôtel est fermée et plus de staff. La vue de notre lodge (Sol) avec absence de vue (sur une haie) et à côté du parking…

La ubicación del alojamiento es espectacular, en plena naturaleza. Un entorno único y maravilloso, que desde luego merece la pena. El personal también fue muy amable

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig mitten in der Natur gelegen, doch es ist sehr leicht für einen Tagesausflug nach Salento oder ins Cocora-Tal zu gelangen. Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, es war ein Traum!

El espacio es muy cómodo, bonito, cálido y cuenta con todo lo necesario para una buena experiencia

El lugar es fabuloso, el clima es frio pero muy delicioso, el personal es increíblemente amable. Lo mejor sin duda es la mascota del sitio Sol y Lupe, ambas amorosas, derramando amor y cariño a todos, incluso hasta te guían a la cascada.

Si podría mejorar las opciones del menú del restaurante, es muy poco variada , y limitada, sin opciones y los sabores no son del todo favorables. De resto todo excelente.

El entorno es precioso y lo mejor del Glamping es la atención de todo el personal: son muy amables, siempre están con una sonrisa y dispuestos a ayudar. Además, se nota en los dueños las ganas de aprender y mejorar para que todo vaya cada día a mejor. Estoy seguro de que el Glamping no hará más que mejorar aún más poco a poco. Tiene parking en el hotel y la cama es súper cómoda. Además, nos encantó la terraza y la posibilidad de tener el fuego tan fácilmente y de manera segura.

Todo nos gustó, pero hay puntos de mejora que nosotros mismos hemos transmitido de manera constructiva al dueño, que nos escuchó y recibió de positivamente: el Wifi tiene la velocidad justa, es un lugar remoto y complicado para que funcione muy rápido, así que, dudo que otros alojamientos sean mejor en este aspecto (de todas formas, es un lugar para desconectar, así que, tampoco es un problema). Por otro lado, nosotros nos alojamos en la Suit Sol y creemos que con la dilatación de la madera se han ido generando pequeños espacios que hacen que no esté cerrada herméticamente, así que, tuvimos algún insecto en la habitación aunque teníamos cuidado de no dejar la entrada abierta (tampoco es un gran problema) e impedía que se mantuviese la temperatura dentro de la estancia. También nos dijeron que iban a mejorar los mantenimientos para que quede mejor sellada. La valoración calidad/precio es algo más subjetiva, pero quizás la vemos un pelín alta.

Sin duda nuestra mejor elección. Un lugar muy bien preparado alejado de la civilización perfecto para desconectar y estar en armonía con la naturaleza, la atención y los servicios prestados por el equipo del Glamping ha sido estupenda.

Experiencia muy aconsejable. Pasamos una noche súper agradable a pesar de la lluvia y el frío. La ruta hacia la cascada es fácil y muy bonita.

Pedimos pizzas para cenar y estaban muy malas. El jugo natural tampoco estaba demasiado rico. Son aspectos que deberían mejorar.

Los binoculares, los pajaritos y la facilidad para conectar con la naturaleza

la atencio sin dudas es inmejorable, sol la perrita que te lleva de excursion, las vistas, la tranquilidad.

Le jardin et le personnel étaient très agréables.

Nous avons été déçus par notre chambre qui semblait bien mieux en photo. Les photos laissent penser que la chambre était dans la végétation avec une belle salle de bain et une belle terrasse. Notre salle de bain était à l'extérieur de la chambre ce qui n'était pas reflété sur le site. L'hôtel est également très excentré et sans voiture il est assez difficile et couteux de se rendre sur les différents spots touristiques.

I honestly don’t have enough words to describe our stay at Glamping Lumbre. It was truly the highlight of our entire trip. Being surrounded by nature, with a beautiful waterfall right next to the property, made the experience feel magical, the perfect finishing touch. The rooms/"tents" were amazing, very spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Of course, there were a few bugs here and there, but that’s completely expected when you’re literally staying in the middle of nature. The balcony with the fire setup was incredible, easily one of our favorite parts of the stay. It created such a cozy and unique atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast was also delicious, and everyone who took care of us was absolutely lovely. I only wish we had stayed longer just to enjoy this place more. I would definitely come back!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in der Natur mit einigen extras für die man nicht zahlen muss. Wie die Wanderung zu denn Wasserfällen mitten im Jungel, als Begleitung kommt der Hotelhund gerne morgens mit und führt euch direkt hin was sehr süss ist. Personal mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück ist mega und lecker auf Wunsch ohne zusatzkosten sogar ins Zimmer.

This property is special. All staff and Pablo, the owner, are there completely devoted to you and your experience. On top, the zone is magical. The Cocora valley has Encanto!

This is such a special property. There is nothing like it that I have ever stayed at. It really feels like you're part of nature and the night sky. The staff were amazing. We hiked from the property to the Cocora Valley which was also a great experience. And then to top things off we did the waterfall hike (there are 2 falls on the property which are really special). Wonderful place and would totally 100% recommend.

There was a tiny leak in my room but in truth there was a huge huge storm and so its understandable.

Wow beautiful! Such a wonderfully relaxing place to stay. The tent was gorgeous with a beautiful view, outside deck and fire pit. Breakfast was included and was delicious and plentiful. Dinner was also amazing and reasonably priced- try the brownie and ice cream! We enjoyed that we could have food delivered to our room and took advantage of this pampering, as we counted this stay as a splurge from our more “rustic” way of travelling. Plenty of birds to watch, and when it was rainy one day, we put the fire pit on (once rain stopped) and enjoyed it from inside the tent while lying on the bed. Home to the waterfall was quick and worth the trek. Staff were so friendly and kind- ready to help and make everything as easy and special as possible. Also appreciated the unlimited fresh water to drink throughout stay, and coffee in room.

Super chilled place to stay, perfect location in between the Cocora Valley and Salento. The staff were so helpful, arranging activities for us like a coffee tour and horse riding. Stunning setting, amazing wildlife, super relaxing and peaceful. Delicious breakfast that set us up for the day!

Shower was a bit difficult to get the temperature right and we had no hot water from the sink tap.

Tolle Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern. Super Aussicht! Tipp: Nachts sehr kalt, daher unbedingt den Lüfter nutzen.

Bei der Feuchtigkeit im Raum wachsen leider sogar Pilze aus der Dusche. Bett war für uns leider sehr unbequem.

The location is exactly what we expected: remote and quiet.

While the reception staff was not very helpful, if you plan to book a coffee tour or a driver, it’s better to arrange it yourself. Otherwise, the price may be much higher than expected.

Beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and sustainable. Away from the business of Salento and surrounding towns, and in walking distance of the Cocora Valley hike. Lovely trails within the property as well that lead to a couple of waterfalls.

You had to play around with the shower in our tent to get the hot water to flow, but it wasn’t a big issue and we loved our tent. It was beautifully set up with a comfortable bed and heater, and lovely deck and fire pit outside.

À 20min en auto de salento aprox, hay que tener auto o organizarse con uber o parar un jeep de los que van y vuelven del Valle de Cocora (muy a menudo llenos)

The staff was beyond nice and attentive, the facilities are gorgeous yet simple, exactly what we were looking for in a glamping. Food was really really good and a lot of "from farm to table" and vegan options, you could tell everything was cooked with love!

Wifi at the room barely worked, which wasn't an inconvenience for us since we were looking to disconnect. If your travel plans depend on your room having good Wifi, keep this in mind. However, they have Starlink in the main dining and works perfectly, should be a short walking distance from your room.

Lo que más nos gustó fue su sostenibilidad y el concepto del hotel rodeado de naturaleza, a la vez respetando todo el ecosistema. Además están muy bien ubicados cerca del valle del cocora y a su vez de salento. Cuentan con un tour guiado por Sol, una dulce perrita, que te lleva a las cascadas de cocora, que están muy cerca del hotel. También cabe mencionar que el personal es muy amable y están atentos a todo lo que necesites, en todo momento nos ayudaron y resolvieron todas nuestras dudas, un servicio realmente excelente. Por último sus instalaciones son espectaculares, permitiendo disfrutar de una hermosa noche estrellada, además puedes ver colibrís, vacas, caballos, diferentes tipos de aves y es un lujo poder despertar con el cantar de los pajaros. Nosotros solo nos hospedamos una noche, pero nos quedamos con ganas de más, por lo que recomendamos quedarse mínimo dos para disfrutar al completo de la experiencia, ya que ofrecen muchas actividades interesantes.

The location is fantastic, the staff are extremely friendly! Watching the stars in the sky from your bed in the evening is something incredible. The peace and quiet you have there is unimaginable. I just loved hearing nothing but nature. I will be back! :)

There are many things that could be improved, but I won't start listing them all. What I think absolutely needs to be improved: at least one hairdryer in the bathroom and the food in the restaurant. (Or switch from "Italian" to something local that they can cook better.)

Le foto non corrispondono alla realtà, si tratta di un glamping di medio - basso livello e non certo di lusso. Il servizio è’ carente in tutto, faceva freddo sia nella camera che negli spazi comuni, a precisa richiesta nulla è’ stato fatto per migliorare la situazione. Il cibo mediocre.

Le cadre et le calme de l’établissement est fabuleux

L’établissement s’annonce comme un hotel alors qu’il s’agit d’un camping. Les cabanes sont très mal isolées, il y fait donc très froid. De plus, l’électricité ne fonctionne pas très bien, la lumière des toilettes n’éclaire pas du tout. Le petit déjeuner pris à emporter n’est pas à la hauteur. Enfin, l’accès est très difficile ce qui est entendable vu la position géographique mais peu d’alternatives d’accès sont proposées par l’hôtel.

This glamping site is located in a truly spectacular spot – we were all captivated by the beautiful environment and the peaceful atmosphere. The reception we received was incredibly warm, and it was clear from the start how much care goes into hosting. It was the perfect place to reconnect with nature while enjoying great comfort. Muy buena opción para estar cerca del Cocora. Por la noche se ven muy bonitas las estrellas a través de los techos de cristal. Tienen diversos servicios de spa y masaje que merecen la pena.

Las cabañas pueden ser un poco frias, pero disponen de un calefactor para calentarlas.
