KGT House

Un EXCELLENT emplacement pour visiter DUBLIN, toutes les activités sont à portée de....pieds ! Cerise sur le gâteau : en face de l'établissement un bus de ville qui vous ramène directement à l'aéroport. Nous avions demandé des "lits jumeaux" et nous avons finalement eu un petit appartement avec DEUX chambres ! Bref, très satisfait, également sur les critères propreté et confort.

Un gros regret : l'appartement donnait sur le boulevard, très circulant même la nuit.....avec une station de taxi sous les fenêtres. Une suggestion : mettre un "vrai" double ou triple vitrage de ce côté. (J'ajoute que mon pote qui dort comme une souche n'a RIEN entendu !!!)

La limpieza, lo acojedor que era, era una habitacion muy grande y con vistas a una calle bastante aesthetic.

El barrio aunque fuera amplio y hubiera moviemiento, la gente un poco extraña.

En el dormitorio olía bastante mal, ya que solo tenia dos ventanas diminutas para airear. Dos de las camas eran mas pequeñas que el resto, lo cual no es justo pagando el mismo precio por todas

Empezamos con que en dos días no habían limpiado ni un día la habitación la,las sabanas sucias llenas de mierda,con agujeros,al bajar al comedor no había cubiertos la tostadora con más roña que el paleolítico y 200 por esas condiciones es muy caro

Comodo il self check-in (se funzionasse bene). La ragazza che siamo riusciti a intercettare per lasciare i bagagli è stata gentile. Niente altro di positivo da aggiungere. Non lo consiglio.

Dormitorio decisamente troppo piccolo per tutte quelle persone, per di più con un solo bagno per donne e uno per uomini (con ovviamente una sola doccia per ciascuno). Fortunatamente questi bagni erano puliti, almeno al nostro arrivo. Ci siamo fermati solo una notte (per fortuna) e non ho avuto il coraggio esplorare gli altri spazi comuni decisamente angusti…l’odore poco piacevole che c’era nella camera (con una sola finestra) penso di non dimenticarlo mai. Ho dormito sopra i miei asciugamani da doccia ancora umidi (anche perché l’alternativa sarebbe stata metterli in valigia così com’erano) pur di non dormire a diretto contatto con le lenzuola che poco mi sapevano di pulito. Assolutamente assente qualsiasi piano di appoggio o appendino per, appunto, asciugamani da doccia o altro. Diciamo che non rispecchia assolutamente le foto viste al momento della prenotazione, altrimenti non lo avrei mai scelto. Tra le altre cose, subito dopo la conferma è arrivato un messaggio molto professionale che vantava la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in deposito..peccato che il deposito consiste nel lasciare i bagagli nella camerata incustoditi, oppure nel mettere gli zaini dentro gli armadietti sprovvisti di lucchetto. Inoltre, ai numeri di recapito indicati non ha mai risposto nessuno (avevamo appunto bisogno di lasciare i bagagli prima dell’orario di check-in) e i messaggi con i codici di accesso sono poi arrivati da un altro numero di telefono..boh! Alla fine siamo riusciti a metterci in contatto con una ragazza “del personale” che è stata chiamata da un tizio che stava trasportando cose all’Interno. Insomma per niente professionale come vogliono far vedere. Ci sta, se quella è la politica dell’ostello, ma la questione deve essere chiara.

Vale que es un hostel, pero en las fotos las literas se supone con unas dimensiones, pero hay literas que tienen poco más de medio metro, es decir tres literas seguidas, es claustrofóbico... Si te toca una de esas te toca pasar mala noche...

This accommodation is not at all suitable for tourists. It was advertised as a hotel with hundreds of lovely hotel rooms but it is a hostel. There is no where safe to leave any belongings. only 7 safes for the 17 beds. It smelled of sweat. We couldn't stay, had to leave an find alternative accommodation.

El servicio, nos quitaron las mochilas que estaban en nuestra taquilla y estuvimos peleando con el dueño para que nos la devolviera. Además de esto había camas demasiado estrechas a las que era difícil acceder

How close it was to the city centre and some parking near by.

There was only one window within the room which could be opened, which was at the other end of the room, form where I was. There was basically no ventilation within the room which meant it was very warm. The beds are closed in with the curtain for privacy which also meant your bed space was very warm and no a lot of ventilation. The locker that was assigned to by bed was taken up by someone else, and there was no other free lockers nearby. Had to sleep with the bags on the bed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 KGT House is a very nice place to stay. The facilities were clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and I had no issues at all during my stay. Everything was as expected, and I would definitely recommend KGT House to others. Overall, a great experience!

If you are going to Croke Park it’s excellent.

This is a stranger reply. It was very warm so both rooms opened our windows. But there was people outside who were talking for hours into the early hours of the morning. Well after 2am.

Buona posizione, fermate autobus diretti verso il centro o verso l'aeroporto vicine alla struttura. Bagno pulito ma nulla di eccezionale.

Rumori provenienti dai negozi presenti in strada e anche da altrove senza possibilità di capire da dove. Moquette sporca, cucina da evitare. Il condizionatore non funziona.

I'm not sure about the negative reviews. I've stayed in backpackers hostels in London and Europe and this was one of the good ones. What I liked most is that the hostel was very quite. No noisy guests or people lingering around in common areas for ages making noise. So I'm assuming this means it's well managed and management are quick to get rid of trouble makers. I found everything was very clean too. The bathrooms in the last hostel I stayed in on a trip to London were absolutely filthy and smelled disgusting. I liked the self check in but some people don't. I like it as I deal with anxiety often and hate turning up to a hotel or hostel and having to wait in a huge line to check in. Self check in means you can check in when you want and it's a lot less waiting. Host was responsive and answered all my questions quickly.

The only downside is that there is two bathrooms and one separate bathroom with just a toilet in the Common area between 16 people although I didn't have any issue with having a shower anytime I as there.

Pods and facilities were clean and comfortable, despite being small! Decent location walking distance to downtown and bus stops.

Rate was not ideal compared to other hotels and some hostels.

Aber das Check-in war leider sehr schwierig, weil wir weder telefonisch noch per Nachricht jemanden von der Unterkunft erreicht haben und somit nicht ins Zimmer konnten. Erst nach über 1h hat sich jemand gemeldet...weil wir beim Verkäufer der Kofferablage Druck gemacht haben

I really liked, that we had clean sheets, a decent bathroom and everything was decently cleaned and since the windows were open, we had fresh air.

The windows looked down on a big road. And since they were rather high and two of the beds were placed in front of the windows, we couldn't close them. This made the noise from the road below unbearable. The whole night

We stayed in a private room for three. The room was very clean and modern. Self check in was easy. There is no ac but you could open the big windows so it wasn’t too bad even in the summer heat. Comfortable beds. Overall a positive experience as we didn’t expect much due to many negative reviews.

There was no breakfast available. Also as there was a ceiling window in the room, it would have been nice to have some kind of curtain there to darken the room better. We couldn’t get cold tap water so we had to buy bottled water.

I let them know my arrival time which was late at night. I didn’t get confirmation that it would definitely be ok and I could just let myself in until the day of my booking, when I got check in details. Was a little worried! But all ok, I’d stay again :)

It is in the city centre. Accessible to everything.

The room itself, room 6 is So tight and narrow, my wife stabbed her toes many times to footbed its too close to the wall. Pressure machine makes loud noise evertime i flush the toilet. You could hear the noise outside like shouting of people and ambulance and cars etc. The top room, room 6 was very hot, we couldnt sleep despite of windows open. Dodgy people outside of the accomodation. Too pricey for all of these. I will not go back here again.my son bumped into one of the bulb in the kitchen and he also locked himself inside the kitchen toilet, without any help. My wife managed to open it with a knife. This is our First and last.

The only positives were the store right next door, which was open until 2 a.m., and nearby fast-food options.

The room was very small and, because the weather was warm, it felt quite stuffy. The floorboards creaked loudly whenever we walked, and we could also hear the floor creaking from the room above us. I'm sure the guests staying below us could hear us moving around our room as well. We could also hear people using the shower or toilet, especially early in the morning and late at night. The location wasn't ideal, as it was about a 20-minute walk from the city centre. We wanted to pay extra for breakfast, but the dining area and kitchen were completely empty and we weren't sure why. Overall, the stay definitely wasn't worth the price we paid.

It's was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

A hora del check out muy temprano (10AM) y las señoras de limpieza llegaban cada día antes de esa hora (a las 9AM) a limpiar. Yo me quedé en habitación compartida y cada día fuy despertada temprano por las señoras de la limpieza que entraban a las 9 AM a la habitación encendiendo las luces y algunos días hasta con música. Muy desagradable, no se podía descansar. Y la cocina demasiado pequeña, no podía haber más de 1 persona a la vez

Die Lage, ist leider nicht sicher, vorallem nicht in der Nacht. Man soltte Nachts alleine Unterwegs sein. Allgemein ist die Lage des Hostels sehr fragwürtig, daxes dort von Drogen- und Alkoholabhänigen wimmelt, man fühlt sich in dieser Gegend auch Tagsüber nicht sicher.
