Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Rooms were Immaculate and a fair Size. Great location. Above a pub but you're not disturbed. Separate door with access to the rooms rather than going through the pub.
Liked everything but like hotels in that area (I believe) it doesn't have a lift. So just something to note if you have issues taking the stairs. But would definitely stay again. Honestly cracking wee place.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026The Reveller is great, right there in the center of town and the room was large and recently updated. We were in room #1 over the bar and could not hear a thing from the bar crowd on a busy Saturday night. Amazing value and worth a stay whether it's long or short. The only thing to note is that it's a walk up.

It was a bit noisy at times due to people outside and traffic, but given the location that was to be expected and a fair trade off.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026N/a re: as room only but the lovely Blueberry Tearoom so wasn’t a problem. The location of the Revellers was perfect up in the Diamond. Direct entry to the rooms or through the bar. Mini fridge, kettle and biscuits provided. Bathroom provided toiletries too. Beautiful modern bathroom. So clean.
The only thing we didn’t like was that we overlooked next doors outdoor area. We had to close the windows as it was a smoking area and the smoke was drifting up to our room. Not pleasant.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Great location, right in the centre of town. Easy to find parking which was €2 until 1pm the next day. Comfortable bed, fridge and all shower amenities provided. Very clean throughout the building.
It was on the louder side at night with the amount of pubs in the area. Shower only had enough hot water for 1 shower so meant it was freezing for the second person.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026We traveled in Ireland for 14 days and stayed at 8 different places, mostly BnBs. This room was the nicest one that we stayed its. It is all recently updated and looks amazing. Has a large modern shower with great water pressure and heat. Bed was large and super comfy and the room was also large. I would highly recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting the area. It is also right in the middle of downtown with all the shops.

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026Zunächst, wir hatten nicht explizit um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten, dies aber tatsächlich auch so erhalten. Das Zimmer befand sich im 1. Stock des Gebäudes, nicht direkt über dem Pub. Eventuelle Geräusch-Beeinträchtigungen durch den Pub, der immer recht gut besucht ist, gab es nicht. Im Gegenteil, es war sehr angenehm, sich dort auch noch auf ein Pint oder mehr aufzuhalten. Der Weg zum Zimmer war ja sehr kurz. Ansonsten besticht die Unterkunft durch ihre Sauberkeit und Ausstattung (sehr angenehmes modernes Bad), eine gute Größe sowie insbesondere die Lage mitten in Donegal. Auch die Parkplatzsituation war ok. Im Bereich bzw. in der Nähe konnte man an der Straße immer einen Platz finden. Ab 18 Uhr war das Parken bis 09:00 Uhr morgens auch frei.

De ontvangst in de kroeg was wat warrig omdat de dame achter de bar het ook daar druk had. Daardoor niet duidelijk waar de sleutels ingeleverd moesten worden bij check out. Ook werd ons pas later duidelijk dat er ontbijt te krijgen was in de biertuin van de kroeg. Advies: maak een mapje in de kamer met wat meer info. Ontbijtrestaurants, diner opties, toeristische atttacties.

Reviewed May 11, 2026The room was ideal - comfortable and clean bedding, an abundance of towels, small fridge, kettle, bright and airy. Have already booked our next stay! In the centre of Donegal town, plenty of car parking options within a 2 minute walk.
It was a little noisy Saturday morning but its the centre of a busy town - that is to be expected.
