The property location is great. The room was very clean and the room is definitely renovated. The food was okay, not great but fine.

The pool is very small. The mattresses needs a bit of an upgrade

I think it’s the best place to stay in Port Said! It’s clean, well-organized, the view from our suite overlooking the Suez Canal was amazing! The staff is very helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of food. Would love to come back!

The location is excellent near canal and beach and town center. The Canal view is beautiful. The room size is reasonably good.

The breakfast is very modest with very low quality of hot and cold beverages. The room service is very bad serving plastic forks and spoons with hot soup and chicken dish and one hour delay to deliver my requested coffee and when I complained they said sorry we forgot your room number!!! Room furniture is very old and lack maintenance. Bathroom was not clean with traces of rust everywhere on nickel parts and no hand towel hanger and no shower cap.

الفندق لا يرقى أن يكون من فئة الفنادق السياحية .. الاستقبال من موظفين الاستقبال سئ التعامل وغير مرحبين بالضيوف .. النظافة في الغرف غير مناسبة . الغرف فيها كمية غبار شديدة والاكواب غير نظيفة غير ذلك وهو الاهم لا يوجد اهتمام بالتفاصيل في الفندق . الافطار مناسب ولكن الموظفين غير مهتمين بالنظافة والشكل المقدم حيث تواجد اكثر من كوب شاي مكسر وبمقابض مكسرة في بوفية الافطار وهذا دليل اهمال وعدم اهتمام بما يقدم للضيف.

The location is perfect.

The property desperately needs to be fully renovated. Lobby, restaurant, bar, pool area as well as the rooms need to be fully refurbished, as with this special location it deserves to be the best hotel in Port Said.

Donne sur le canal donc pas de bruit. La piscine. La vue sur la promenade le long du canal et sur le canal. Le petit déjeuner buffet. Le personnel très agréable. La plage et ses restaurants à deux pas.

The location

Their is a problem of enrolling the place the staff nearly not well educated , it seems this hotel with good past reputation called sonesta is now owned by the government or something so the quality of services is very bad from cleanless to service to food you feel like if you are in an 2 or 3 star hotel every thing almost not used even they clean our unit first day and second day they do nothing but bed even our clothes they buy over each other with a very rude way , while entrance they ask me of my birth certificate because I was with my mother 84 years old to prove she is my mother , I suggest to remove this hotel from booking to note hurt visitors , the only good thing is view all other are dry bad

It was really nice to stay there . I was upgraded from room to suite by administration of the hotel . Definitely I would recommend such place with wonderful location.

We have been in Port said for 3 days staying at Resta hotel. It is a likely 4-star hotel with fewer facilities. Location: next to Suez Canal and the "Delicips statue Base" with a stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea and the canal at the same time. A few steps from the Sahaet Masr, the huge gate of the canal and the delicips premonade There was a lot of taxi to get and scroll through the port said streets. Room: big with 3 single beds accommodating our needs. The bathroom is OK for a 4-star hotel with the essential amenities, no toothpaste or bath sponge or slippers. The TV channels are few but OK, there are complimentary water bottles in the room added every day with a good housekeeping job. Breakfast: Good Egyptian varieties and intercontinental cusines. Fresh bakery, eggs, cheese, foul, jam, felafel, sausages, mashed potatoes, and eggplant. Check-in and out: smooth process and helpful staff. I recommend it to Port Said visitors

- location : near to everything at Portsaid . Very good view on Swiss canal. - Room : including everything you need to relax expet the bad quality of the TV (poor photo ' lasy voice and few channels ) . - Room service : excellent and handsome girls. - bathroom : very good with high pressure water. Amenities is OK. - swimming pool : small and cold (not heated) bit clean and well organised with enough sunamberrls and chairs . - Parking area.: yes it is enough as we are on off season on April. - recotipn: excellent staff fast with friendly smile . - check out : still in the hotel may be i evaluated later . - restaurant: we had daily breakfast . Little itms but fresh and enough for all . Most important they have fresh different bread types ' cheese ' fool and falafel and small types of fresh fruits salad . Also includes eggs stating. - No entertainment at all and I think this a most negative point in the hotel beside the bad TV channels and brand . - Price : average and depends on the season . - Transportation: easly to get local yaxi with respnabe price or can deal with ouber with little higher price . - ATTRACTION near by : touristic mamsha ' de lisp status ' fish market ' porfoaad Maadia ' Army museum ' local street market especially clothes branded and local . Wish you happy days.

The location of the hotel was amazing, just in the middle of the city and directly in front of the Canal where you can enjoy the view of the ships and the calm water. The breakfast was nice, has all the basic needs with continuous refill.

It is fair to say Resta is the best hotel in Port Said in terms of quality of service, helpful staff, unique location and room/hotel facilities. Our room no 235 was well maintained and cleaned properly; it had lovely smell and superb location on the Suez Canal. It is unique to find ship parked next to the hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the authentic delicious food. Many thanks Mr Tarek and Ahmed for ensuring that our demands were met. We went to Port Said to spend a weekend and chill. We stayed at Resta Hotel based on online reviews. We wish we didn't! The place is rundown and rooms need total renovation. The room had a smoking smell even though we asked for a non-smoking room. Tge city itself is a must to visit but don't stay at Resta!
