Traffic and outdoor bar noise at night was troublesome for the front bedroom.

Reviewed May 22, 2025Everything! Fantastically renovated and well-equipped property. We loved the generous sized rooms in particular.
The location was a plus and a minus. We wanted to be close to the Octagon so the kids could come and go as they pleased and that’s what we got. The downside of booking a Friday and Saturday was the noise coming from the Octagon!

Was able to cook a full Sunday roast for the family, kitchen well equipped could do with a roasting tin though. Very good heating which we really appreciated and spotlessly clean. Plenty of room to spread out. Would highly recommend this place.

Very very minor ... could do with a bit more kitchen stuff to be able to cook in the house. Needed a jug or something to heat stuff in the microwave, a silicon spatula to stir in the pan, a few more oven dishes and baking trays. As I say - very minor - but we can't all afford to eat out all weekend.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2023Great location with a lounge/kitchen area for all the friends to congregate and chat . So close to town and the university so easy to walk around. The host were easy to deal with and answered promptly
Noise does echo and unfortunately there were visitors sitting on their balcony in a different building talking tell 3am in the morning on Saturday after a few drinks. The second bathroom is only available for the main bedroom (which has a single bed inside also) ... which meant a queue for the bathroom .
