Wow! What an amazing place to spend a week on holiday, simply paradise. From the moment you walk into the hotel you are warmly greeted and made to feel completely relaxed. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They stored our bags for us until our room was ready and carried our case to our room and explained the hotel and amenities in detail. Spotlessly clean all throughout the hotel, pool towels provided plus option to swap for new ones once a day and daily housekeeping, we even received an evening treat and top up of water every night. The breakfast was very extensive with lots of options and coffee delivered to your table, also a lovely view of the pool and harbour whilst sitting on the terrace. There are planet of sun loungers, all so comfortable and each one comes with a towel to cover the lounger. We opted for a cabana one day which was not expensive and well worth it. We ordered drinks and food poolside and it was all delicious. The DJ everyday was a good addition seeing as this side of the hotel is the beach club. If you’re looking for a quieter vibe I’d recommend the sister hotel opposite but we still managed to read and relax perfectly and being a young couple we enjoyed the music and swim up bar. The whole atmosphere of the place is second to none and the location is amazing. The beach is literally opposite so it takes two minutes to walk over, sunbeds available to rent or simply lay your towel out on the sand. There are so many restaurants in the surrounding harbour that take only a few minutes to reach, you can see the hotel from most and the setting is so lovely to watch the sunset. I took a yoga class one morning after breakfast which was great and used the mats and area at other times of the day too. We couldn’t fault this hotel, do yourself a favour and book your stay for a fantastic experience

The only minor thing was our hot tub in our suite did not heat up, the hotel were so good at sending someone out to take a look and fix it but it unfortunately failed again. We didn’t alert the hotel again as we didn’t want to wait for it to be fixed again. Only minor but would have been nice to use in the evenings

Nice location and swimming pool. Spacious room suite.

We asked few times to clean a spot in bathroom where they were few ants and put a product which was never done. We are used to 5 stars hotel buffet and this one was way behind. You have to ask if you want something (salmon,avocado…). Buffet is mainly bread, yogurt and sausages,bacon. We put up the ‘Please clean’ sign, and throughout the whole day (there are two cleaning rounds, morning and evening, every day) nothing was done. When we rang reception, they told us, “Perhaps it would be better not to put the sign up anymore, as they might have thought it meant the opposite.” In a five-star hotel, the very least they can do is to check the sign and see what it says. We ordered a room service one night and on the next day the plate was outside the whole day under sun (from 11 till midnight).As a 5 stars hotel again this should not happen. We were the one taking the plate and bring it back to the staff. Lastly, on our last day we used the courtesy shower. When we arrived inside no soap for shower or for the sink as we also checked the other shower same happened. Also, there is no lift to take your suitcase to get there. So you have to take stairs with your suitcase with no AC of course.

La cena poteva essere migliore. Scelta limitata e ripetitiva senza bevande incluse ed un solo ristorante dove poter mangiare con la mezza pensione. L'altra scelta era un bar con scelta ancora più limitata.

The facilities, the pristine state of them. The layout and the variety of different spots for the customer to enjoy. The cleanliness everywhere is just outstanding. The location, the restaurants, the marina, the beach is superb. The tranquillity all the time; the focus of every installation and place around (family-friendly). But what stands out among anything is the staff; their kindness, mannerism, professionalism, round-the-clock eagerness, and willingness to help; their work ethic is very remarkable. I'd like to thank Selene and Mireia for their invaluable support at all times, especially during breakfast. I would also like to mention the staff at the reception desk; and Arnau was ever so patient, willing, and kind. We will definitely come back again because the whole experience was just excellent.

There's nothing to say. Everything was very nice. Let me just suggest that the parking facilities were fantastic but very small. The resorts deserve bigger and more spaces for customers to even book them before their arrival to secure their place. The parking availability around is not easy.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hotel, en réservant une chambre avec piscine privée (qui selon nous, manque d’intimité). Tout le reste était parfait : l’accueil, le service, l’ambiance, la localisation, le choix de transat (lit sur l’eau, lit doubles pour bronzer, transat individuel) Vous pouvez facilement y séjourner quelques jours sans bouger la voiture puisqu’il y’a une vingtaine de restaurants à proximité, 2 superrettes, un beau sunset à 15 min à pied, un port. Le petit déjeuner est très sympa. Une partie des plats (oeufs, tartines,…) sont à la carte et une autre partie est en buffet libre service. Cela manque un peu de variété notamment dans les jus de fruit, les pains,… mais à part ça nous sommes ravis de notre séjour !

Overall the hotel is very clean, the room cleaning service was also great. The staff was very polite and helpful. Very good coffee.

Breakfast was mediocre at best - the food looked nice but tasted of absolutely nothing; all the hot food really wasn't good. The cold assortment was better. Obviously this isn't a 5 star standard but rather a 4 star - relative to the price. In the evenings the hotel is absolutely dead which is a bit odd for an "adults only".

La amabilidad del personal, la atención, ubicación, limpieza, restauración.

A nuestra llegada no habían enseres tales como cepillos de dientes, maquinillas de afeitar, etc… pero nos lo solucionaron al momento.

Bellissima struttura, bella piscina con il bar all'interno circondata da comodi lettini e con servizio cibo. Teli da bagno inclusi. Location perfetta vicino ad una bella spiaggia e a pochi minuti a piedi dalla costa per vedere il tramonto. Ottima scelta di ristoranti nelle vicinanze, il gastro hub di cui fa parte l'hotel consente di variare cucina spesso. Colazione a buffet eccezionale con ampia scelta dolce e salata. Camera (suite) molto spaziosa con letti davvero comodi, lenzuola e cuscini sopra la media. Acqua fresca ogni giorno e minibar assortito. Guest service impeccabile, organizzano escursioni in barca e tante attività giornaliere. Ci hanno prestato un ombrellone da portare al mare per tutta la durata della vacanza. Lobby elegante, e caramelle omaggio.

La vista dalla camera non era direttamente su piscina. In bagno occorre lasciare la ventola sempre accesa perchè dagli scarichi quando cambia il meteo salgono cattivi odori. L'aria condizionata era leggermente rumorosa, abbiamo dovuto dormire con i tappi. Le bocchette dell'aria condizionata andavano pulite meglio (ma abbiamo chiesto al servizio clienti e ce le hanno pulite in giornata).

3 mal Stromausfall, das kann passieren, aber in meiner Welt sollte das Mindeste dann sein, wenn man 3 Stunden auf sein Essen wartet, dass man die Getränke umsonst kriegt wenn man fast 600€ die Nacht zahlt… echt enttäuschend!!!

Overall, we had a nice stay at Lago Resort Menorca and there were definitely some positives. The breakfast was lovely with a good selection, and the little marina next to the resort is beautiful and adds to the location. The resort has a nice setting and, despite some of the issues, we did enjoy our time there and found it to be an enjoyable stay overall

Unfortunately, there were quite a few things that fell short of what I would expect from a five-star hotel. We stayed in one of the suites, which was very basic, and the pool area felt quite rundown and in need of updating. The sun loungers were positioned on a strange stone surface, meaning stones would flick up when people walked past. Hotel guests also had to pay for cabanas, which seemed to be the only way to receive poolside service unless you went to the bar yourself. The hotel opposite had loud entertainment on the microphone until around 11:30pm, which affected the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was lovely, but there was no air conditioning in the breakfast area, which is also where the Michelin-starred restaurant is located, making dinner uncomfortable in the heat. The taxis in Menorca were another major issue — we waited over 30 minutes for a taxi that the hotel had ordered for us, and on the way home we were told there was a 45-minute wait. Overall, it was an okay stay, but for the price and the five-star rating, I expected much more. The resort definitely needs updating and improving to genuinely feel like a five-star hotel.

Hotelowy basen z leżakami na wodzie bardzo nam się podobał. Śniadania i kolacje bardzo smaczne, na wysokim ,kulinarnym poziomie.

Menu kolacji się nie zmienia-przynajmniej przez 7 dni i jest to słabe, bo jest dosyć ograniczony wybór ,wiec po trzech dniach pomimo zapłacenia za te kolacje wolałam jeździć do innych restauracji.

Breakfast buffet was top notch. Also dinner a la carte in Foc restaurant was of great quality. The whole resort is clean, the room was fabulous. F&B staff very friendly, as well as Diego from Front Office. The easy access to the port was enjoyable, for evening walks.

The pool seats in Casas de Lago don't offer any shadow. You're burning in the sun all day. If you want shadow, you need to purchase the Bali seats, which are not for free. Keep in mind that in Casas de Lago, every afternoon there's a DJ playing loud music. If you want peace, better to go to the Suites de Lago (pool next doors), where the Bali seats are for free as well. Even with half pension, natural water is not included and comes on top. The restaurants for dinner are okay, but they're located in the basement of the hotel. The nicer restaurants that are outside are extra.

Nous avons adoré la chambre ainsi que le piscine individuelle. Tout est pensé pour être parfait. La propreté des lieux ainsi que la gentillesse du personnel. Le petit déjeuné est incroyablement varié et très bon.

Le fait de ne pas avoir de transats du a la mauvaise éducation des gens qui posent leurs serviettes des le matin pour réserver ceux ci sans forcément y passer du temps.

Rapport qualité prix mauvais, nous n’avons pas eu la même chambre que celle réservé sur les photos.

Even the plate service was nice. - Every member of the staff was so kind, friendly, adorable and very attentive - The music and the DJ by the pool were good, not too loud and the music selection created a wonderful, relaxing vacation atmosphere - Sweets by the pool were a lovely touch - The little treats that the cleaning ladies brought every evening were a very kind gesture. They also asked every evening if we needed anything.

- The bathroom situation in the room was a bit unusual. As there isn’t a separate bathroom or an additional desk, there is only limited space for arrange personal items. A separate bathroom and an additional desk would make the room even more comfortable, but we got used to it very quickly - The wardrobe could be a little bigger

El gimnasio es irrisorio ( aunque puedes ir al del hotel del al lado ) le falta un bar o terraza donde tomar algo, solo hay uno dentro del agua de la piscina, donde eso si, los camareros te llevan lo que pidas a los camastros. La ubicación esta algo retirado de todo..es para estar allí o necesitas si o si coche Al margen del desayuno, la comida de algunos restaurantes del complejo turístico es mejorable para un hotel de esta categoria

Pequeno almoço com buffet e serviço à carta que é simplesmente fantástico. Staff muito simpático e prestativo fazem-nos sentir em casa. O Martin sabe receber como ninguém, a Cristina super prestativa na recepção e a Genny no pequeno almoço marcam muito pela positiva e fazem-nos querer voltar. Estacionamento grátis e fácil junto ao hotel.

Everything! The location, the decor, one of the best hotel breakfasts in the Med that I’ve had. The vibe was just right, a good mix of music by the pool, complimentary drink upon arrival, beautiful views over the marina, loved the day beds…did not want to leave!

Glass shower in the middle of the room made it interesting for 2 friends sharing a room, but we navigated our way around that, no biggie!

Lovely hotel, fantastic pool area and in a location close to a range of restaurants. Room was great and very spacious. Pick a mix by the pool was a real bonus!

Not a lot comes to mind...maybe keep the beds in the pool rather than swap for the floating animals?!

Staff were very helpful, were happy to suggest different things to do , service was always prompt, There was a general politeness with all the resort staff. there was a good choice of eating outlets around the marina which catered for a wide variety of tastes

Generally prices were high which would stretch budgets and local taxes made the situation worse. I think this is probably aggravated by the economy in general

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and variety. The staff are wonderful and the rooms were a great size and very clean! There are some lovely touches including towels being replaced at night and in the morning and little snacks brought to you at the pool and at night. There is also a hotel transfer available to and from restaurants if needed! The breakfast is wonderful and the drinks are the pool are also amazing! It’s in a great location - lots of restaurants and beach on your doorstep! We had a room with a pool which I’d highly recommended, was nice to sit out in the evenings (just bear in mind they get the sun in the mornings)

The only thing really is the sun bed situation - there are not enough beds for everyone staying (even in the sister hotel). There is a policy for not reserving beds but this didn’t seem to be actively enforced. The only other thing is sometimes the buttons for drinks/food on the sun beds didn’t always work and because the pool bar is in the pool, it’s tricky to go up and order yourself instead.

Seul petit point négatif : l'attente trop longue pour avoir un thé ou un café au petit déjeuner et qui est très petit. Demander 2 thés ou 2 cafés n'est pas compris par le personnel

Tras venir 5 años consecutivos, este año el nivel ha bajado de manera considerable. Nunca visto en este hotel que la gente a las 8:00 de la mañana ya tenga todas las hamacas ocupadas y que además sea gente que pasa el día entero en las hamacas sin consumir apenas en los restaurantes del hotel y se traen comida del Burguer King que hay a pocos metros del hotel , que no hayan toallas suficientes para la piscina ( estuvimos 2 días sin toallas de piscina y nos ofrecieron para secarnos las fundas de las hamacas) es decepcionante que unos huéspedes que vienen todos los años y que cada día comemos en Kaypa y cenamos en Godai y que durante el día hacemos gasto también en el bar de la piscina, nos encontremos en esta situación. Nos hemos marchado con una sensación negativa y lo más posible es que ya no volvamos a repetir dado que ha sido una situación tras otra este año. Sinceramente, si ese es el perfil que quiere el hotel, ya no es lo que era y si sigue así cada vez irá a peor.

Lo mejor de la estancia ha sido, sin duda, el personal; un equipo increíble, muy atento y profesional. El desayuno me pareció espectacular, con mucha variedad y calidad, y la zona de la piscina es también genial. Además, cabe destacar que la cama era sumamente cómoda, lo que garantizó un descanso excelente.

Por otra parte, considero que la habitación y las prestaciones son demasiado básicas para el elevadísimo precio que se paga y para lo que uno espera de un hotel de 5 estrellas. El diseño de la habitación Deluxe es un tanto incómodo, ya que tiene la ducha y el lavabo literalmente en medio de la estancia. Por último, me pareció un detalle extraño o poco higiénico que no hubiera duchas disponibles en la zona exterior de la piscina.
