Piscina esterna sicuramente bella ma affollata. Struttura generale molto accogliente e tranquilla. Location silenziosa e con un ottimo personale di reception.

Le condizioni della cosiddetta SPA e della palestra non sono del livello a cui questa struttura ambisce. La SPA è davvero scarna, non ben mantenuta e con la vasca idromassaggio che non funziona. Non vengono forniti nè accapatoi nè asciugamani supplementari in loco. La palestra è minuscola e fornita di attrezzi vecchi. Il servizio durante la prima colazione è decisamente scarso, non puntuale e approssimativo. In generale è una struttura frequentata da turisti anziani (nulla di male) e i servizi sono regolati su questa caratteristica.

Por poner alguna pega, la presion del agua de la ducha era bastante escasa y de vez en cuando la temperatura del agua era dificil de regular.

Que tenga bañera en lugar de ducha, que una mesita de dentro del dormitorio parecía vintage porque estaba vieja y la cortina tenía un agujero, para un hotel de estas condiciones las instalaciones tienen que estar impecables.

colazione: non si può vedere la macchinetta del caffè / cappuccino in un hotel a 5 stelle. Oltre al caffè, comunque si può fare qualcosa in più. La zona esterna dove si può consumare la colazione però è molto piacevole. Phon in camera: si può fare uno sforzo verso la modernizzazione palestra: anche qua si può fare uno sforzo in più nell’ottica di acquistare dei macchinari nuovi, inoltre sarebbe comodo poter disporre di asciugamani per non appoggiarsi direttamente sugli attrezzi.

Publicidad engañosa. Cuando eliges habitación , te dicen que tienes una plaza de parking gratuita incluida en el precio.y no es así. Hay plazas de parking gratis , pero si cuando llegas no hay , tienes que buscar aparcamiento fuera .Yo de 8 días, aparqué dentro 1 día.

Très bel hôtel avec une architecture bien pensé et qui ne dénature pas le paysage. Très calme. La gentillesse des serveurs et la cuisson parfaite des poissons du restaurant.

Je n'ai pas pu profiter de la piscine extérieur car je ne suis pas a l'aise avec les oiseaux et beaucoup trop de pigeon et tourterelles au abord et dans l'eau de cette dernière.

La piscine est top, jolie et grande et pas trop d'affluence, donc parfait pour pouvoir nager (fin juillet pourtant) L'hôtel est très bien situé.

J'ai été déçue qu'il n'y ait pas de cafetière, le mobilier est un peu vétuste (canapé affaissé, fauteuil tâché). Un parasol sur la terrasse serait appréciable et le petit déjeuner est acceptable. Je trouve cet établissement cher par rapport à la qualité.

We spent 5 nights here for our wedding anniversary in July which is why we chose an adults only hotel. The hotel has huge potential, excellent location and lovely staff ( special thanks to Aylen on reception who was so helpful and always had a lovely smile, she is a credit to the hotel) . The rooms are arranged around the lovely pool which is very pleasant. Sadly this hotel has 2 of my pet hates and should not occur in a ‘5* luxury ‘ hotel ( I would say a good 4*). The 8am towel dash for sunbeds (I am on holiday and want to relax) and anti-theft hangers in wardrobes. Fortunately we had booked a junior suite so had our own sunbeds so did not have to get up early!!! The room was a good size with a bedroom and lounge. Strangely although the bathroom was next to the bedroom you had to walk out of the bedroom and through the lounge to get to it at night. There are no charging points and no spare sockets in bedroom to charge phones etc. There are a couple in the lounge at floor level. The decor is very old fashioned. There are 3 wardrobes, not necessary, would be better to get rid of one and have a drawer unit for T shirts etc. Bathroom decent size, shower just a standard shower on wall that can be removed but decent pressure. On the plus side nice big bath towels. Safe at a sensible level in wardrobe. Fridge efficient. You have a kettle but the tea/ coffee tray was what you would expect in a premier inn. Teabags not even in a sachet so stale and cheap instant coffee. See photo. Normally ‘ 5* luxury hotels have coffee machines, especially if in a suite. On arrival you have a bottle of water in your room but that is it. It is not replenished. Luckily there is a supermarket next door. I cannot remember the last time we stayed in a 5* hotel and were not provided with water daily! The biggest problem was the air conditioning which is not fit for purpose. We wondered why there were only sheets on the beds and no duvet, we soon realised. The system is old and very poor. The dial is set on 10c and fan on full. See photo . The lounge area was too warm to sit in, luckily the bedroom was slightly cooler if we kept doors shut but still struggled at times to sleep. The system needs completely replacing. Breakfast was mediocre and the dining room needs modernising.. several times we didn’t bother with breakfast as so unappetising. There is a courtesy bus to Ciutadella daily which we used. You just need to book in advance as only 8 seats. I would recommend a junior suite on the ground floor, as you have your own sunbeds and it is easy to be in the shade or sun depending on your preference. As I said this hotel has huge potential. If it was modernised with efficient air conditioning we would happily return.

Pleasant quadrangle hotel around a lovely pool overlooked by patio tables for restaurant and bar. Some distance from the beach, 5 minutes walk to the harbour. Dinner food was disappointing: started was just a boring salad buffet and mains sounded better than they were. Service was variable.

Grosszügiges Zimmer, Sauberkeit ist sehr gut. Die Klimaanlage ist leise. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit, ruhiges Ambiente, da Adult-only. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und von guter Qualität. Auf Anfrage gibt es glutenfreie Optionen. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, man erreicht alles was man braucht in wenigen Gehminuten. Gute Busverbindung nach Ciutadella.

Die Einrichtung und versch Details im Zimmer sowie im Hotel entsprechen nicht einem 5-Stern Hotel, die Preise schon. Schade gibt es kein Kingsize-Bett. Danke für die Welcome-Wasserflasche > ohne Gläser! Danke für die Teebeutel > lagen offen in einer Schale (nicht hygienisch, besser in einer Box). Steckdosen im Zimmer schwer zugänglich. Da keine nassen Kleider auf das Balkongeländer gehängt werden dürfen, wäre ein Wäscheständer wünschenswert. Im Bad zu wenig Ablagefläche.

Servizi igienici separati (c'è anche il bidet), aria condizionata, ampie armadiature e cassettiera, bergere e scrittoio. La piscina è fantastica, forniscono i teli ed è un luogo molto silenzioso e rilassante, si sente il profumo di oli essenziali della SPA: è eccezionale godersi un bagno dopo la spiaggia. Colazione abbondante a buffet e menu. Il bar molto bello, elegante, con pianoforte a coda e ottimamente fornito. Il tempo era poco e non ho potuto godere di palestra e SPA.

Fabulous hotel with a few niggles. Only things that have already been said, air con in the rooms is pretty inneficient, bathrooms very outdated and really need some walk in showers especially for the majority of guests and breakfast was a bit chaotic at times. Overall it is a great hotel with great staff but wouldn't return until the bathroom situation is resolved.

Just returned from a lovey week at this hotel. Fabulous pool area and no sunbed wars, lovely quiet pool area. Breakfast was great. We had lunch a few times as well (also delicious) Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and spotlessly clean rooms. The only negative is that the air conditioning was not that effective for the very high temperatures during our stay, also there were no teaspoons in the room to make tea/coffee. Otherwise all great and we will be back.

Excellent hotel. Wonderful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We’ll be coming back next year. Lots of returning people.

The pool is great, the spot is perfect since it's 10 min walk from 2 really good beachs and the staff are amazing! First time in menorca and I totally recomend this hotel.

Spotlessly clean throughout & relaxing atmosphere. Staff friendly & he Bathroom could do with update - a walk in shower would be preferable. Found air conditioning in bedroom not very effective. Meals were a mixture of buffet & waiter service. Good cold choice at buffet but repetitive. Little veg served with mains in evening though you could get extra salad from buffet. Pool area quiet & relaxing lovely to have no music all the time. Towards end of stay people started leaving towels on sunbeds & these were not removed. Felt hotel not up to 5☆ more 4+, but enjoyed my stay.

10 days at this lovely hotel. The situation is very good close to shops, bars and restaurants. We were in a junior suite whjch was large, beautifully decorated with a spa bath and a separate shower cubicle. Had its own terrace with sunbeds looking over the pool. Bed linen, towels etc of the highest quality. The whole hotel is immaculate, spotlessly clean with lovely welcoming staff. Food was good. We had half board and there is a large choice at both breakfast and dinner. Service was occasionally slightly haphazard but not a problem. A great place to come and relax

Lovely hotel, staff are so helpful and friendly. The cleanliness is second to none and perhaps bathrooms could be updated but that does not take away how lovely the rooms are and all with a view of the pool area. Breakfast buffet was very good, fresh fruit, breads a d hood choicebof cheese and meat with hot food available to order. Only niggle was despite goid choice of herbal/fruit teas would have liked to have some English breakfast tea readily available. Would be 5star review were it not for one thing ( a personal bugbear) but most women do not want a desk in their room but do want a dressing table where they can sit and do their hair_/ make up with an adjacent socket to plug in straighteners etc whilst looking in a mirror rather than having to crawl under tables to plug things in. Sadly may not return as we did not like the resort that much but thank you for a great time.

The hotel was spotless there was always someone cleaning. Breakfast was very good but needed more trained staff to make it run more smoothly. All staff very friendly and helpful. Always sunbeds available. Great location 5 minute walk to the bars and restaurants at the Marina. Bedroom was comfortable air conditioning was not the best but ok for us. Chatting to other guests who have returned year after year.

What a find. This was our first time at this hotel and it will not be the last. The Hotel is peaceful during the day lounging by the pool. The pool bar is well stocked and managed by extremely attentive and pleasant staff. The prime location of the Hotel made the Marina very accessible for visiting in the evenings. The beds in our room were extremely comfortable and the air conditioning was more than adequate, but the bedroom furniture could do with an upgrade, although there was more than enough storage space. The bathroom was immaculate and functional but could do with modernising to include a walk in shower for example. Housekeeping of our room was of a very high standard. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff .The level of cleanliness is exceptional around the grounds and inside . The spa has a lovely atmosphere and equally the hotel has a lovely relaxing feel . The outdoor pool is large and clean , there are no sun bed wars there were plenty for everyone . The restaurant has outdoor space or air conditioned inside it was nice to be shown to your table and offered service the food choices were very good and enjoyable . The decor is true Spanish style which suited the environment boutique style just wouldn’t seem appropriate here. The rooms have lots of storage and hanging space and sockets and the beds were so comfortable. We used the hotel shuttle into Ciutadella a couple of times which was well organised . Overall a beautiful holiday . Thank you to all the hard working staff who go above and beyond to provide a good service .

Five star rating but pool was not heated and cold (fortunately we had good weather so it was usable) and the breakfast was extremely disappointing. Same thing every day, not once did we get a correct order from the kitchen so gave up and could not keep the coffee machine in service any day we were there (two weeks).

Just spent 2 weeks at this hotel. The pool area is lovely the grounds around the pool are very well tended. It was so nice to relax and soak up the sun without music or pool activities going on, This area is definitely the best part of the hotel plus the young lady who served at the pool bar was very efficient. The rooms although spotless are very dated and definitely need upgrading. Walk in showers would be a plus. What lets the hotel down is the restaurant. The service is very chaotic and at times non existent . Waited 45mins for my main course on one night. It wasn’t even worth the wait. Waiting staff just don’t now what they are doing. Had the same menu choice for our second week and also for the gala evening Surely a hotel that rates itself 5* can do better than this. I will give a special mention to Lena who was very helpful and always had a smile. Breakfasts not very exciting either, Bar staff excellent, so no complaints there. The curtesy bus into Ciutadella twice a day is a lovely idea. Summing up we had a lovely holiday in Cala’n Bosch but due to the bad service in the restaurant and the quality of the rooms this a hotel we won’t be returning too.

This is one of the most difficult Tripadvisor reports that I have written with regard to this Hotel, as previously I have consistently rated it as 5*. In my opinion it now rates as 5* for the clean pool, garden surrounds, quality sun-beds, the amazing Housekeeping staff, and the high class beds. Bar staff are also as pleasant and efficient as their workload permits. This drops to just about a 4* for the room amenities, with no personal toiletries apart from wall mounted ones, and no modern electrical support for todays technology. Rooms are very clean with quality bedding, but all wardrobes and fittings are very time worn. Basic English TV channels are available. Very sadly, the restaurant now can barely gather a 2* rating .It is designated as a ‘Gourmet’ experience Serious issues with food ordering and delivery, often receiving incorrect dishes; and a time mix-up between the soup course and cold buffet, with dishes arriving when guests are still eating the previous course. The quality and visual appearance of dishes has seriously deteriorated, and the whole menu is totally repeated in the second week, if you are a guest staying for more than seven days. This is even the case for the ‘celebrated’ Gala Night menu ! Wines ordered at the start of a meal often not received until half way through the meal, and even worse wines requested suddenly being out of stock. Two seniors, returning to this hotel for their 5th year were delighted with the welcome received, and the fact that they received the Room that they had requested earlier. Small gifts in our room, as a returning guest were appreciated. We had the ‘luxury’ of our luggage being taken to our room for us, but many guests are not offered this service , which should be automatic in a 5* hotel, and room facilities are not pointed out. Most guests have to find their own way. As previously stated, the sun-beds, their mattresses and the sun shades are of good quality. Guests are not permitted to ‘reserve’ sun-beds and exception was taken by many guests that if their belongings were not attended for more than 1 hour, then they would be removed. It is important to note here that there is a drinks and dining terrace bar adjacent to the pool area, and it would be virtually impossible to dine or have drinks in the permitted 1 hour. On one occasion my wife and I were actually gesticulated at by the ‘Lifeguard’ to return from the Terrace Bar to our sun-beds. It would be very difficult to find another hotel with the overall ambience of this one, from generally delightful staff to the complete peace and safety of this resort. Serious, serious, training and management issues are regularly discussed by guests which is so unfortunate, and certainly something we are not used to. It is with great sadness that my wife and I believe that we will not return next year.

Its time for La Quinta to invest in both the hotel and its staff and training, although some areas resembled and were run like times before (the pool bar and main bar and spa) the restaurant was at best average and at worst chaotic. Lack of staff and training very nearly sank the ship and if this is not taken in hand it will hit an iceberg. There are some very nice staff (the cleaners are amazing as are the pool bar girls) but the need training and leadership. For the money paid this was a disappointing return to La Quinta which was the jewel of Menorca , but sadly is now in need of refurbishment and management to rate its self as a 5 star establishment. Would I return after this disapointment, probably not and thats very sad after years of happy memories.

Das abendliche Programm aus Live Musik verschiedener Musik Richtungen war teilweise zu früh zu Ende. Da hätte ich mir eine halbe Stunde gewünscht. Das ist aber eigentlich auch nicht wirklich erwähnenswert. Es hat uns insgesamt sehr gut gefallen und wir haben uns gut erholt. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Definitely not a 5-star hotel – I would rate it closer to 3 stars. You cannot market a hotel as 5-star and then fail to provide even a basic level of service. The adults-only section appeared to cater predominantly to a much older, pensioner-age clientele. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a culture among some guests of complaining about even normal holiday conversation and enjoyment. As a result, the pool area was extremely quiet and lacked any atmosphere, making it feel quite boring at times. This was not the fault of the hotel staff, but it did impact the overall holiday experience. The breakfast was below standard, with a very limited selection available each day. Service was poor on most occasions, although this appeared to be largely due to understaffing and a lack of guidance within the restaurant. The rooms were clean, which is a positive, but they were dated, dull, and in need of refurbishment. Overall, while cleanliness was acceptable, the service, facilities, atmosphere, and dining experience fell well short of what would be expected from a hotel claiming to be 5-star. :::

2nd time staying at this hotel, great indoor and outdoor pool, friendly staff and helpful, cleaners were great , food good , perfect location for us. Very clean and comfortable , quiet and tranquil , the sax player on the evening entertainment is fantastic

This time round we felt the morning staff at breakfast were understaffed and a little out of there depth, we had to ask most mornings for service, ie our cooked orders and tea and coffee , we were missed if we didn’t ask!!! I had the cleaning (I assume manager) knock on our door and walked in before I reached to answer , clearly not happy we had our towels in the balcony , i didn’t like them just walking in at all. Other than that all good

Sitting at the pool now at La Quinta whilst writing this review.... Location-ideal. Just 5 minutes walk away from the beach or from the harbour, which has many bars and restaurants. Bus stop and supermarket right outside the hotel. Atmosphere - chilled, friendly and classy vibe. Rooms and all areas - spotlessly clean. Decor is traditional Menorcan, with beautiful modern sculptures and art dotted around the building and gardens. Entertainment -some entertainment each evening in the hotel bar after dinner. (Tribute singers, piano players etc) Flamenco night -outstanding. Food-amazing! The a la carte options each evening are outstanding. You also have a great buffet style option for your starter and for your desserts. Breakfasts also great. The hotel offers a lunchtime menu too if you need a mid-day snack. The staff- so helpful and friendly. Always happy to help, to enhance your holiday experience.Service is excellent. Would we come back again? absolutely ! In a heartbeat.., could not ask for more x

Bel hôtel avec une magnifique piscine. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables avec un joli balcon vue piscine. L’hôtel se trouve à 10 min à pieds du port et de la plage. Le personnel est très sympathique et avenant. Nous avons pris la demi pension, les repas étaient bons et nous avons apprécié de se faire servir à table pour le plat principal.

La climatisation dans la chambre ne fonctionne pas très bien, difficile de rafraîchir. Le service des œufs aux petits déjeuners, beaucoup d’attente et commande pas toujours correcte. À partir de 10h, le buffet petit déjeuner est un peu vide.. plus de bols, pain, etc…

I think I read every review before coming and it was just as good as described! Due to a last minute knee injury I needed a room on the ground floor which was provided. Lots of things made this hotel a five ⭐.I wouldn't call it dated but traditional which we liked.Not full when we were there so no problem with sunbeds.I enjoyed the waiter service by ypool for drinks.We came back to the hotel for 9 p.m.for the entertainment which was flamenco dancing,sax player and singers which was fine but not many people attended. We walked to the marina and ate at Piccolo's twice which was good quality food and great service. Breakfast great but couldn't seem to get cold milk for tea! I would definitely return especially if I got a good last minute deal from Lov Holidays again!

A truely welcoming hotel where every member of staff greets you with a smile. The pool is of a magnificent size with always enough sun beds available so there is absolutely no need to get up very early and reserve a bed as is the case at some hotels. The chef and his team are to be complimented on the array of food available at both breakfast and dinner. A wonderful escape from the rigours of every day life.

Positives first..Hotel location excellent for getting into the harbour area, extremely clean, with a Boutique feel,very well maintained especially the pool area and green areas.Rooms very good and well appointed, and cleaners excellent. Negatives..Starting with the breakfast, very good choices, especially for the birds that flew into the restaurant and helped themselves to the buffet, every morning. Cooked food for breakfast was very good, and it was served to the table direct from the kitchen. Evening meals..Salad buffet provided every evening and was very good, Choices of cooked meals were offered via a menu, usually six to choose from, this is where the problems start..absolutely terrible, usually inedible and a mix of flavours that are hard to comprehend. The waiters usually laughed when we complained, and said.." But the wine is good " or "don't worry you can have cake next." The hotel must be loosing a lot of money as it was very difficult to find staff to serve drinks during the day, you really had to go hunting them, we usually gave up and went back to our room and made our own. All the negatives were mentioned by other guests we spoke to. There seemed to be no leadership for the staff in regards to serving.

Recommend this hotel, stafv were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Lovely atmosphere and well maintained grounds. Pool was delightful. The perfect getaway.

The staff were friendly and professional, the outside pool area is lovely, so to are the other communal areas of the hotel, including the complimentary Wellness Centre and indoor pool. You pay extra for Spa treatments, which you would expect, though they a little on the pricey side tbh! The indoor pool was far too hot for any actual swimming during our visit - luckily the sea was a very pleasant 24 degrees. The Hotel is located a short walk from the marina, restaurants and beach and feels nicely secluded when inside. All rooms face the pool and have a terrace or balcony and the breakfast was nice with everything you would really need available, but not exceptional. Pool towels and robes are provided and everything was spotlessly clean.

Our room was not what i would expect from a 5* hotel; it was really quite dated with brown furniture that showed quite a lot of signs of wear. The TV was not smart - no internet connection for Netflix etc and had no English channels. Just one bottle of complimentary water supplied during our stay. No nice little extras that make all the difference like a coffee pod machine, a selection of teas or a few biscuits. The bathroom was equally dated, and whilst it might of felt luxury years ago, it didn't do so to me at all. The shower was over the bath, the hairdryer had electrical tape around it and whilst there was complimentary body lotion, shampoo and conditioner it didn't feel high end and i went and purchased alternatives. There is also a complete lack of anywhere to dry your costume or pools towels, no rack/pull out on the terrace, so this meant everyone had them hung over their balconies - pretty unsightly.

We are on the final night of a 7 day half board stay at this hotel, and it has been truly lovely. We came to continue hiking the Cami de Cavals and explore the lovely coast and Ciutadella. The food was excellent with great attention to detail, especially the a la carte breakfast and dinner elements. The eggs benedict for breakfast were sublime and the best hot chocolate ever. The tasting menu was lovely.. Both Pablo and Maria in the restaurant were warm and welcoming, as was the friendly chef who popped out occasionally. Room was great. The pool was fantastic, all in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable week. It's a peaceful and tranquil environment, and we really enjoyed the lack of intrusive music. Highly recommended, and we will be repeating!

We love the hotel and have stayed there on numerous occasions either as a couple or as part of a bridge group. This visit was a combined one as we had a few days before it and one day after. We love the peacefulness and good service at the hotel and also the variety of restaurants and walks near it. Unlike some guests, we actually like having a bath with shower over it, and the way there is so much storage space in the rooms. It is very traditional but in a good way. Eva was very helpful in merging our bookings and making sure we got a ground floor room on the restaurant side for the whole time. That meant that our housekeeper was the efficient and delightful carmen again🙂 which was an extra bonus. I was in online contact with a lady, Helen, who stayed there just before us and was nervous about being a single guest. I reassured her and She messaged afterwards that the hotel staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.

I do not think the hotel were responsible for my disappointment. Firstforbrige let me down. I was expecting a sit down meal with table service for my evening meal as I do not like buffets.

Excellent service, very poor food. No walk-in showers. Decent breakfast but other food pretty poor. Do not understand what a club sandwich is, ditto eggs benedict. Red wine consistently served chilled.

The Hotel is in a purpose built resort of about 30 years old. Lots of hotels, apartments & Villas. The La Quinta is adult only and very peaceful and relaxing with no loud music blaring by the pool. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our room a garden room was very clean, perfect for us with lots of drawers, shelving and hanging space, but a little old fashioned with shower over the bath and separate room for toilet and bidet. There was no charge for the room safe or pool towels. The dining room is lovely with the best food we have had in a hotel abroad. Buffet but service cooked breakfast and main courses in the evening, and great attentive waiting staff. Only 5 minutes walk to the Marina, or the beach. Rocky walk along the coast with rocky coves and turquoise blue water. Canoes, etc can be hired at the beach. Lots of restaurants and bars round the Marina area. We loved the Hotel but not the resort.

We just returned from a week half board at La Quinta. Super location,just a couple mins stroll from the Marina with its numerous bars&reastaurants and beaches. We loved the adults only aspect, most of the guests were well spoken and well behaved,no real riff raff, a mixture of mostly Brits and French with a few Spaniards staying there. Rooms are comfortable and very clean, not super modern but totally fine. Breakfast and dinner were decent quality, the salad buffet in the evenings very good. We both felt that the staff were lovely, honourable mentions go out to Simon and LuzMaria in the main restaurant who looked after us and the other servers were all charming and attentive. Reception and housekeeping girls were also delightful. Overall a solid choice for a luxury type hotel in Menorca , good value too early October time. I've listed the good & not so good below: The Good- Hotel staff. Pleasant quiet ambience, no loud music or noisy kids! Location. Value for money. Clean and well maintained. The not so good- Main pool is NOT heated...too cold for most guests to use including ourselves. 5 star rated hotels should have heated pools as standard! Sun lounger cushions are a bit grubby. One bottle of water was placed in the room at check in but for rest of our stay no complimentary water was offered, and no water fountains/stations around the resort for guests to hydrate, we had to visit supermarkets daily and purchase our own.

Most enjoyable .will be back agaiin next year but will book direct with hotel so we can have the room we want

We have recently returned from a 12 day stay at La Quinta and had a lovely time. The hotel is described as being 5 star , sadly this did not appear to be the case. This hotel is a good 4 star but is being let down by a lack of refurbishment. The footprint is perfect , low rise , fabulous pool area , dining space and cocktail bar . Rooms are large and spacious but very dated and bathrooms in need of updating. The shower over the bath is cumbersome to get in and out if and the age group of the guests appeared to be mainly elderly. The sun-bed cushions, although comfortable were ripped and dirty which was disappointing as the pool area is beautiful. General cleanliness was good and staff work very hard . We are at the hotel 3 times for dinner and sometimes the staff looked very stretched - note to the management! Food was good and breakfast plenty of choice . We used the spa area once and it was very pleasant but a little too clinical- area could be softened with some plants etc. After chatting to the other guests many had been coming for years but sadly all felt the same and many considering their stay somewhere else in future. The hotel could be a real jewel in the crown but needs an injection of cash to bring it up to speed- we would like to return but only if the above can be addressed. We will be keeping an eye on reviews in the future .

Lovely adult only hotel, very nice rooms, friendly staff and good restaurant. Short walk to the port area where there are numerous restaurants to meet most tastes.
