Perfekter Aufenthalt

Hotel ligt aan de andere kant van het dorp ten opzichte van de gondel. Opstap bus voor het hotel dus dat is perfect. Te voet is het 15 min dus dat is ook goed te doen. Vanuit het hotel ben je wel binnen 1 min in het centrum van het dorp. Ouder hotel maar super onderhouden. Schoon. Ontbijt uitgebreid. Nette skikelder. Je kan ook in de ontbijt/diner ruimte terecht voor een drankje en een spelletje spelen. Op dag van vertrek mochten we onze auto laten staan tir einde dag aangezien we nog een dag gingen skieen.

Zimmer 10 Grad kalt, Boden nicht sauber, Kopfkissen schlecht, Decken zu kurz, Frühstück OK aber nicht mehr.

Csendes, jó elhelyezkedésű

5 napot töltöttünk a szálláson és addig végig dugulás volt, hiába szóltunk nem csináltak semmit a megoldáson.

De kamer was ruim, comfortabel en netjes.

Wij kwamen 's ochtends vroeg aan en wilden tegen extra betaling in het hotel ontbijten. Dit bleek achteraf 25 euro p.p.! Het ontbijt was ook erg eenvoudig dus dat was zeker geen 25 euro waard.

Das Hotel ist ein Familienbetrieb. Und so wurden wir aufgenommen, in einer Familie. Das Personal war freundlich und zugewandt. Das Zimmer war großzügig und modern eingerichtet, ebenso das Bad mit begehbarer Dusche. Die Woche verging wie im Flug. Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

LOCATIE WAS PERFECT ,het is een typisch Oostenrijks hotel ,de mensen waren vriendelijk ,behulpzaam.

toilet was heel klein . En bij te weinig gasten sluiten ze de keuken en restaurant. Er waren die middag geen gasten op terras geweest en dus hadden zij besloten om de keuken dicht te doen. Maar er waren wel hotelgasten die daar avonds dineren .Vind ik niet kunnen.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Frühstück und Essen "Sehr Gut".

Leider war erst um 16:00 Uhr die Sauna und Infrarotkabine geöffnet.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich (auch am späten Abend) empfangen. Das gesamte Personal war äußerst nett. Zum Frühstück gab es alles was das Herz begehrt. Das Hotel ist ruhig und trotzdem zentral gelegen, nur ein kurzer Fußweg zum Bahnhof +Bus und ins Zentrum. Toller Garten mit Restaurant.

Super friendly staff, clean, modern and spacious room

Minden várakozásunkat felülmúlta a szállás. Nagyon sok aktív programlehetőség volt a völgyben, rengeteget kirándultunk a szép hegyeken és nap végén megpihentünk a helyi éttermek valamelyikében. A szálláson nagyon figyeltek a tisztaságra, mindig tökéletes volt a szoba, az erkénynek külön örültünk, ami gyönyörű kilátást nyújtott a hegyekre, nagyon kellemes volt reggel vagy nap végén kiülni oda. A személyzet nagyon kedves volt, reggelinél és vacsoránál is lesték, h miben lehetnek a kedvünkre. Nagyon bőséges volt a reggeli és nagyon finom, minőségi termékekből lehetett választani. A völgyben rengeteg kirándulási lehetőség van, gyalogosan vagy kerékpárral, sok felvonó elérhető, ahogy több bolt és üzlet is. Nagyon jó helyen fekszik a szállás, ahonnan minden könnyen elérhető volt.

All was great, the hotel, the breakfast, the cleaning, the facilities, the location and most important the hosts.

We booked the hotel through Crystal Ski for a week long snowboard trip with friends. Upon checking in the staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed with a great walk in shower. Breakfast was continental with the option of eggs and the selection wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but certainly not stingy. Again, the breakfast staff were exceptional. Boot room was large and easily accessed and the ski bus stopped directly outside of you didn’t fancy the 10 min walk to Penkanbahn. Would we stay again? 100%

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel’s location is excellent, close to everything. The sauna facilities were a perfect way to relax after skiing. Above all, the staff stood out the most—they made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place!

Nice hotel with a good conditions and nice sauna in it. You need to talk to the reservation office to be able to get in the sauna. Try to get a room which has a balcony if you have claustrophobia though. In the early morning you can go to a walk across to the river too.

We booked this through Crystal Ski holidays. This is a Traditional family run hotel, in a quiet location near the station. Ski bus stops outside for lifts to the Penkenbahn. Our room had the standard Austrian twin beds and looked out over the mountain so a good view. A sofa bed and plenty of storage for hanging clothes. A TV which does have English channels, no tea and coffee facilities provided. Very friendly staff, especially Irene who worked like a trouper. Ski locker in the basement with boot warmers. No ski bags allowed in the rooms. The key for the room is on a very big keyring, which if lost will cost you €100. Not the most practical item, but can be left at reception when going out. Hotel is locked at 10 pm so make sure if out late to take the key as there is not way in and no way to contact anyone. Room very clean and soap and shampoo/shower gel supplied but only 2 small containers, best to take your own as otherwise single use plastic and not replenished. Cosy bar area, nice to sit in at the end of the day. Good cafe garden, nice when sunny. Breakfast had usual cold meats, cheese, fruits and yogurt. Juice, tea and coffee. Bread selection and a toaster which can take a while to toast the bread. Scrambled egg was offered with the option of bacon, ham and cheese added. That was the only choice every day, except one day where we weren’t offered it so assumed not available. Just a toast day that morning. We went off each day and were quite disappointed to get back and find the room cleaned, but cups not washed, the bathroom cups were not washed all week and we had a couple of glasses of wine , the empty glasses stayed for a couple of days, we took them down in the end. Same happened with a tea cup. Not the end of the world, but not what we expected. Sauna area looked good, but not keen to get naked. No robes in the room, so have to ask for these at reception. Sauna is not always open so check timings. If you are happy with a comfortable basic hotel, this is ideal. Leaving was a bit stressful as everywhere was locked, we couldn’t get into the ski room to get our ski bags. Fortunately the ski rep sorted and put them on the coach leaving after ours. We couldn’t leave the key anywhere as no one available to check us out. Having said all of this, we did have a good time, I think there is room for improvement on the little things.

We arrived back from Austria last week, having spent a really good holiday in Mayrhofen. We have no complaints at all about the hotel. The owners and all the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and kept clean throughout our stay. Well done to the cleaning staff. We ate in twice for an evening meal. Both were cooked really well and delicious. The breakfast was more than adequate, with a very good selection of food. If we wanted, we could have a choice of scrambled eggs, cooked to order: scrambled with ham, cheese or bacon. I had the cheese one day and ham twice....very tasty. The location is very good being a short walk into town and the ski bus just outside, very convenient. We wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

Great location. Very close to town (restaurant, bars, ski rental etc). Ski bus right outside hotel and store room for ski gear. Very very clean and staff always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is lovely with a variety of options. Rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. Homely feel to the hotel which is lovely.

Nothing it was perfect.

Convenient place (next building to the hotel is already in the main street of the old town, ski bus is right in front of the hotel, its also walkable (10-15min through the main street) to the main ski lift if needed/ wanted). The room is convenient (we had a bigger room with a balcony), clean and bed is comfortable. Spa area is nice. Its a great value for money for shorter stays with a fixed budget.

Even its near the town centre, the location itself is a bit weird, near the main street and a gas station, but its not bad; breakfast was delicious but variety is not enough for longer stays; walls between rooms are very thin, you can hear everything.

The only good things about this hotel really were the spa and the location. Used the spa multiple times which was lovely after a day of skiing and the location was right next to the train stations for the other valleys and right in town for access to all the main bars etc. the dinner food at this hotel was also absolutely delicious home cooked Austrian food. Breakfast was fine. We did half board with Crystal ski and the meal time was in a hotel over the road and the food was dire. Cold, bad quality, terribly cooked dishes. I don’t know if this is a half board arrangement through the hotel or through Crystal ski but it was awful. Another thing is the hotel’s walls are paper thin, we could hear the guy in the room next to us snoring all night. One night the room next to us played music until 2am drinking in the room and we could not sleep. All in all if it were not for the spa I would have been very disappointed as I spent a large amount of money on this trip and I was expecting a fair bit more

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful family run hotel in Mayerhofen for a winter ski holiday in early Feb ‘23. The hotel is simply gorgeous. The location is super, at the end of the village but still only a 5 min walk to the centre. Ski bus literally outside the hotel door which takes 5 mins to get to the Penken Bahn. Our room was perfect with a really comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and lots of storage. The balcony overlooking the Penken mountain was lovely to wake up to each morning. We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast was perfect, all the usual Austrian fare served with love and affection by the wonderful staff. The hotel offers a great evening dinner and we ate here for two nights and on both occasions the food was superb. There is a lovely small bar to have a couple of drinks in before dinner and the selection of beers and wines are great, and very reasonably priced. Every afternoon after our days skiing, we relaxed in the lovely sauna, steam room and relaxation area in the basement of the hotel - this is really fantastic after a day on the mountain. Overall this hotel is perfect for couples, groups and families who want to stay in a small family run hotel with a focus on quality in everything they do. We will be booking again for next year. What a fantastic holiday!! The hotel made us feel so welcome…. it is obviously family run. Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. We were half board and had breakfast in the hotel and the evening meal at a hotel 2 mins walk away. Both were lovely. Rooms had everything you need, had clean towels and beds made daily. Will definitely stay here again if I return to this resort.

Staff were exceptionally friendly. Room was very comfortable, spacious, warm and clean. Continental buffet breakfast was good. The two evening meals we had were great. Location is really good - skibus stop directly outside. Great value

I want to first of all day thank you to the wonderful owners of the Kristall. The lady who ran the show was great, very attentive and an all round amazing woman. I wasn’t so sure how the hotel was going to be after covid but they pulled out all of the stops and made us feel so very welcome! The breakfast was great, evening meals at the Nuehouse were amazing also! Thank you for a fantasy holiday! See you again soon.

I was part of a group of 7 who all agreed that this was a poor hotel based primarily on how it is managed and a general view that it was an ‘unfriendly’ and ‘penny pinching’ place. The food was unappealing and always over salted so beware if you have high blood pressure. The service in the bar/restaurant was not friendly with all drinks having to be paid immediately (no charging to rooms) ; the only waitress who made an effort to be friendly was told off for wasting time; tap water is charged for (so we simply stopped buying any drinks in the hotel). The best example of mean spiritedness was that on the last morning when all guests were leaving due to the Coronavirus situation, there was no hot water for a shower, presumably to save a few euros. Not a place we would return to or recommend

A very nice hotel in Mayrhofren. Situated on the edge of town with Skibus stop right outside. Walking (in shoes) to town centre/Penken is around 10 minutes. Train station is around 5 minutes walk, or just stay on the bus for 1 stop. A family run hotel. Owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Room is clean, comfortable, and plenty of storage. There is a sauna. Ski room is reasonable, heated boot rack; but ski rack is short of spaces. Lift access to all floors. Restaurant opens all day, popular for walk-ins - even some breakfast takers. Breakfast is plenty, but lack variety. Dinner is very good in general; salad, soup, main and dessert. Bar bill is reasonable and need to be settled every night.

Stayed here for a week with a friend on a Crystal ski package. This is a very clean and comfortable family run hotel with a good boot room and very nice wellness facilities although there is no swimming pool. The breakfast wash good and evening meals excellent with friendly waitress service. The hotel was quiet when we stayed there with a pleasant mixture of mainly adult guests from various European countries including several from the U.K. and Ireland. It is about a ten minute walk up the main street to the Penken lift station, but there is ski bus stop just across the road. There are plenty of different bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk to suit most people's taste. Would be very happy to stay here again next time I come to Mayrhofen 😊

We stayed at this hotel on a half - board package holiday. The hotel is well located, close to the town centre, tourist office and train station. The ski bus stops in front of the hotel. We found the food at breakfast and dinner both plentiful and tasty and the cosy dining area and bar area were very pleasant. The staff were friendly,courteous and helpful and any requests, e.g. extra pillows, were promtly delivered. Our room was immaculately clean, spacious and very comfortable with an excellent shower room and a large terrace with mountain views. Some hooks to hang ski gear and bath robes would have made it perfect. The ski room was a good size with a very good heated boot rack. This is a great little hotel and we hope to stay here again.

We stayed at the Alpenhof Kristall as part of a Crystal ski package holiday, and could not have been happier with our choice. The hotel was on the edge of town- very quiet yet easy to walk to all amenities and the Penkenbahn lift. The rooms were very comfy and immaculate in cleanliness. Staff were very friendly, and humoured my poor attempts at German! (I was grateful to try to practice). All staff, be it in reception, the bar or the dining room could not have been more polite or helpful. We had a half board package. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate, and coffee was very nice. Evening meals were plentiful and tasty. We had the same table each day breakfast and the evening meal which was a lovely idea as we got to chat to the other couples around us each day. The hotel provides ski storage, although we preferred to hire a locker at the top of the gondola- easy as I had to be at the same place each day for lessons. I have really enjoyed my time in Mayrhofen, and especially at this hotel. We wouldn't hesitate to re-book for a return visit. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are big and well equipped. Breakfast and dinner arevery good, the choices are plenty and the food tasty! The sauna was a great ending for a ski-day. In the ski-wardrobe you can depoit the skis and let your boots dry out on the special rack, so the next ski-day can start in perfect conditions. We were very happy with the staff, the food and the hotel all together.

Clean, comfy, warm and well fed. The owners were fine it was the non welcoming attitude of some of the other staff particularly as regards drink. Afternoon tea was one euro per tea cup of hot water. We had our own tea bags. So then I thought a thermos would be easier for them. No washing up. 2 euros. And don't ask about bottles of water with the meal. Drinking alcohol in town is cheaper. Saturday evening meal is a bit scratch too because for most people it is changeover day.

Stayed here in July. Have travelled all over the world. This compares most favourably with them all. Well situated for all local buses and the train station. The rooms are comfortable and modern. Food was very good, as was the service. We are a retired couple and the owner (Lady Boss!) gave us great tips on where to walk in the area. Staff were great. Highly recommended by both of us.
