The location was very central and the staff were super helpful. Highly recommend!
Words and pictures cannot describe the beauty of Lofoten and we were lucky enough to have such an experience. The mountains are majestic and breath taking - everywhere we looked! The cabins are wonderful especially those facing the water. Hiking the 1,987 steps of Reinebrining is 100% worth it for the best views to experience. The local fish and chips snack bar has the nicest person to take your order. The drives are awesome from end to end with a few places to eat, especially in Reine.
Overall though we enjoyed the cabin, its stunning location and the friendly and helpful staff very much. The booked waterfront cabin needs some renovation. Wear and tear can be easily seen.
Amazing location in a classical view of Lofoten, clean, comfortable cottage with everything we need.
Amazing property. Staff is extremely friendly and the views are incredible. One of the best locations to stay in Norway.
overpriced spartan accommodations. soap dispenser broken asked them to fix but they did not tiny bedrooms with cheap bedding supposedly sleeps 6 but onr of the 3 of us hsd to sleep on couch Bunk beds? Really? in a beautiful setting
I loved my standard two-bedroom cottage with sea view - although a bit rustic, it was well-maintained and had a quaint charm, plus a breathtaking view of the Reine area. It was also so quiet, even though the hotel was full. Such a delight to sit in the living room area and enjoy the view while having a cup of tea.
Amazing property, great views Highly recommend it.
Assigning parking spaces by room would be helpful. We arrived late and could not find space other than parking in an area that appeared to not block anything.
Beautiful rorbuer, stunning location. Free parking. Food options (formal restaurant, food truck, bar and bakery all on site). Sauna on site (additional cost). Friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent place to stay if you have teenagers or if there's 2 couples. Lots to do, tons of hikes and the sauna is good. Sea kayaking is a must! Slept great and would go back and stay again! 5 stars.
Excellent location with stunning views. Close to hiking and ferries. Highly recommend.
Everything you read about this property is true. The walls are thin, the service is OK, but the location is truly outstanding. We were not in the room very much but they are spacious and well taken care of. Stepping out into that view and walking over the bridge is spectacular. It is the only place that did not provide a free breakfast on our trip and at $29 USD per person it was both expensive and very skimpy on the offerings. That was not worth it. The property is well kept. There are plenty of Robreurs around there, but this one may just have the best spot. As mentioned, if you do get one facing the mountains with the big windows, you will be sure to see people walk by your room.
Great place for a vacation.
Hoel staff might need to tell customers not to occupy the EV charging space overnight.
Spacious apartment with a comfortable bed (with two separate duvets) but the real star is the location. We had been watching the Eliassen Rorbuer Hamnøy live stream for months leading up to this trip and the views certainly did not dissappoint. The site is evo-friendly meaning a limited supply of hot water, however we were made aware of this so we consciously took shorter showers and we never ran out of hot water. A large window gave us great views onto the water, and a large comfortable sofa and dining area which meant we could cook our own dinners. There is a small bar and fish and chip truck onsite which served beers, wine and great food. There are adventure activities available to book onsite, we did the kayak tour which was amazing, our guide was great and it was a fantastic experience. Overall, an amazing trip and we left longing to return.
incredible views and cabin charm.
The area around the hotel and other amenities were amazing. The only comment I have is depending on where your cabin is, your very large panoramic windows face the bedroom of the cabin in front of you and not much else. The live music and food on site, though limited, was delicious
Muy buen hotel.
Great spot for taking photo plus wonderful house
Nice area, the room could have done with a bit more stuff
We stayed two bedrooms ocean front cottage, it was spacious, clean and airy, not to mention the view from the window, so calm, so beautiful. Definitely 10 out of 10.
The amazing weather of course added to the experience, but the Eliassen Rorbue was an extra ordinary experience with a slow, calm and comforting stay. We had a room facing the waterfront wich of course is a must.
Some of the rooms may be the older fisherman's cabins, but mine was in a newer building. Modern convenience in the old style is the best of both worlds. Being right next to the huge cliffs is the reason you are here, so it was still amazing. Staff was very helpful.
A very nice place
No plug on counter. No cold water in the sink. No complimentary coffee
Good
Great location, room was much bigger than we were expecting. Parking was a little tough when we got back from midnight sun hike because some people parked very poorly next to the last open spots. Somebody did open our front door at 10 when checkout was supposed to be 11, we were unsure if it was a worker or a random person….
Beautiful modern and clean property. Staff was very friendly and helfpul. Loved the onsite bakery! Gorgeous location, convenient to Reineberger hiking (with a short drive.)
Very nice staff. Clean, warm, quiet, easy parking. feel like home. Beautiful view. It is good time staying here
Clean, comfortable, charming, friendly and very helpful staff, great location.
Super position with everything. Well equipped cottage, electric car charge, restaurant, bacery and best view Cottage is very well planed with space and storge in place.
You must book the premium waterfront room.
Beautiful surrounded by majestic mountains and sea
We loved our superior room With a view that was exceptional.
The view across the water and up against the rocks is stupendous. Staff was helpful. If I come back to Lofoten this is where I'll stay.
Loved it here - had waterfront cabin and actually stood on deck and said “is this real life?” Awesome.
Beautiful location! The cabin was clean and well organized. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Road work made it cumbersome to get to the room. But the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. It was a municipality road work. They had no control over it. Their restaurant had excellent food. I got take away to room which worked well to my schedule.
This place has a lot going for it. We stayed on the waterfront, which was well worth it for the extra money. You are very much in their area, and certain things are priced for tourists (25€ Fish and Chips, €20 Laundry, €30 Sauna). There was a nice bakery with croissants open each morning. The room did provide a great place for us to launch from and relax at. The rooms were simple but clean, felt like were maybe a touch early for the season. The staff was accommodating but certainly treated us like numbers rather than guests. This was especailly frustrating to see they were running a sale on their site after we booked on expedia and deferred that it wasn't possible to rebook. This view was everything though, would come back just for this-super magical, I can't even imagine it in the winter.
Dramatically scenic location in Hamnoy. Charming cabin. Nice restaurant and bakery nearby. Perfect base to visit the western Lofoten
Ska ni till Lofoten så måste ni bo här, så fina stugor, rent o fräscht , ligger så fint till .Bra service av receptionen om tips att åka och se och att göra.Rekommenderas det varmaste.
Great location. Amazing view.
This is a fantastic property in one of the more scenic of locations anywhere in the world. A great place to see the midnight sun. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
Good location. Fast response to service issues. We had a few minor things wrong with our unit (blinds broken, shower leaked, and heat sparked) but they quickly fixed. Mostly nicely equipped with cooking supplies. However, mini fridge does not have a freezer and there is no ice available on property. When requested, the response was to go to the store and buy a bag, but without a freezer ... that's not a very practical solution. Not enough outlets. Bedroom was super tiny... one side of bed against wall, the other side had exactly 1 body width to egress. Saw a hairdryer in the bathroom, but never did see an outlet. It is very basic, but if you understand that, you will not be disappointed.
Highly recommended. This is a beautiful old fishing village with very comfortable units. One person in our group had a water view facing a bridge and it was spectacular. The breakfast is 30 USD but it is worth it. The kitchen is very adequate. The bathroom advertises a small water heater, but we have no issues with hot water running out. The staff is very friendly.
Absolutely loooved this place! The food was okay (fish a bit dry) but the view of the cottage is amazing and parking is very accessible. I could also walk from hamnoy to reine and it was great!
Beautiful property near nature mountain and water
We enjoyed the location of the resort. The area is beautiful. Well located for hiking. There was also interesting activities on site such kayaking. The restaurant was very good.
the best hotel ever. great views and the best part of lofoten.
The restaurant was also amazing!
So the view is definitely beautiful that is absolutely no question. Let’s get to the point. This room does not have many services. But the most not acceptable thing is the very poor quality bedding. That makes me headache and shoulders hurt after waking up for two days. Because they provide full service of the kitchen and cooking amenities, when you open the door there is immediate food odor coming up. And the shower only 15 minutes total. If you use kitchen side for hot water that will become less
The room is clean have everything we need, the property is stunning views.
Excellent location , but poor condition of drivaway ( potholes!!!) limited car space. Wouldn’t be nice to have undercover car park. Also bed should have comfortable pillows to support head .
The rooms are small but adequate. Very warm , kitchen lack
It’s a lovely and beautiful little paradise on earth for me!great location and people. We will come back again
The view from the room is excellent! Also, it is in a good location.
Super kind and helpful staff. Perfect cabin and gorgeous view
Great for photography, the best place for north light, the heart of Lofoten, close everything.
Lovely hotel
Great views
Good location, Good room, Easy to checkin
Really nice place for our photography adventure. Loved the nighty auroras.
Beautiful venue.
Amazing spot
You can see the northern light from the room.
The place has stunning views , and the room is absolutely gorgeous, nice and warm, also very clean! The staff is very kind.
The Location and facilities at this property make it the ideal place to stay whilst exploring the southern Lofotens. We would most certainly stay here again.
Perfect place for the lights & exploring the islands
Great location for exploring Lofoten. Rustic cabins were comfortable. Viewed the lights in the sky from the parking lot. We enjoyed our planned 2 night stay so much that we extended 1 night. I'd recommend the property to anyone interested in visiting the area.
Checked in after hours so perhaps the bedding might have been explained if in person. The bedroom is very tiny, and hot as no air. it has a very thin wall to the other bedroom. Cannot have window/curtain open as right next to all the front doors. There IS a foldout bed above sofa, this would have been a much more pleasant option if we had known, in the living room and with some ceiling windows. We knew that people could walk past our windows here, but didnt realise there was a bench for sitting on and enjoying view! No privacy which probably wouldnt bother others. Basic accommodation for price. Lovely bakery and restaurant on property.
We had an amazing stay at this property! Beautiful location, lovely views from the cottage, cozy cute cottage.. some essentials like oil, coffee and pepper were missing which would help us in cooking but besides that everything was wonderful!
We had the cutest room with incredible views of the mountains we loved our stay here. But If you had a room that wasn’t along the water I would be disappointed since the buildings are so close together and the bedrooms are in the front so everyone can see in your room if your drapes are open. Also, the alarm in our room went off multiple times.
Clean room, efficient check in. Unfortunately no soundproofing and very noisy, hearing every footstep from apartments above and also from the hallway so didn't sleep well.
Good location
We extended our originally planned 2 night stay for one more night. We shopped local and made use of the range top and refrigerator. Both rooms we stayed in were great, but the surroundings are spectacular. Service was ++. A washing machine is available, but pricy. 100kr to wash + 100kr to dry adds up in a hurry.
No complimentary tea/coffee is a bit annoying, other than that very nice rorbuer
Very nice location. Large room
Great rooms with full stocked Kitchenette with pots pans and utensils. Great location and friendly staff
Comfortable stay in a traditional 1 bedroom cabin with mountain view. Easy walk to the bus-stop. Cabin is spacious and can sleep 4, complete with cooking facilities. Good water pressure and temperature control. Cabin shakes with strong wind. Automated check-in and therefore no human touch.
Super cute cabins
Great accommodations! Wonderful views. Delicious restaurant on site!
We enjoyed our 3-night stay, but would have preferred more comfortable bedding. The mattress was uncomfortable and only one small bed pillow per person is provided. The cabin had a beautiful view but lacked any sort of cozy-ness. We appreciated the amenities on site and enjoyed the kayaking, fish and chips truck and the bakery. Overall, we had a good stay and more comfortable accomodations would have made this a 5 star stay.
Lovely fishing cabins. Well appointed kitchens. Quaint little village with lovely view of the water.
Great location, nice layout, easy check in/out. Kitchen is little dark, other than that everything is great!
Unique lofoten island experience
The property is stunning. We had a cabin that had an amazing view of the mountain. Of course walking outside you have the famous picture of the rorbuers on the edge of the cliff - stunning. Perfect location for many hikes and an easy walk to the next town to grab a bite at Anita’s seafood. The restaurant at eliassen is fantastic (Gadus) and their bakery is great for a morning pick me up.
Excellent location!
Really the most beautiful location in Lofoten. Great location to see the northern lights. Facility well maintained and clean. Skylight a huge plus.
Stayed in waterfront Rorbuer which had amazing views of Reinefjord and the peaks. Clean cabins, had everything needed to make dinners. Well located for exploring surrounding walks.
Super cute stay - there’s also a sauna on property (for a fee) that was super nice to use!
Beautiful views !
Fabulous, what a view - we loved it!
Quite possibly the most beautiful place I have stayed. The accommodations and staff are excellent
Location was amazing within typical Lofoten scene and beautiful rainbows.
Beautiful view!
The cabin was adorable with great restaurants around it. The views from the cabin were spectacular. Distance to hikes and Reine were perfect. Highly recommend.
One of the most scenic locations we’ve ever stayed at. The view from the cabins is otherworldly. The restaurant and bakery on site are excellent. Would love to visit again one day
It’s great place for staying. Only one issue that we can’t make refrigerator work. Our ice cream was melted.
Clean and spacious apartment, with stunningly beautiful view. Highly recommended.
