The breakfast was poor

I liked that once the gate was open you can park directly in the front.

Breakfast was large and expansive but nothing I would eat. Would be nice to have eggs made to order. It is In the middle of a very chaotic street. Room is clean but extremely dated. Staff were kind. I paid $250 which was terrible value for the stay .

Everything. The ala Han is a great find! The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant is delicious.

Physical decor is beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding. Location can't be beat. Cleanliness was wonderful. Cleaning staff and restaurant staff were great. Had to argue with hotel manager about paying taxi because we could not get to the hotel and had to park a mile away. Next day, though, desk staff were helpful and very accommodating about retrieving our car.

This place is party land! We love dancing and music, but this hotel is more interested in providing a party venue than providing sleep for guests. We would have moved out except that we had paid two nights non-refundable in advance and the third night one of us was very sick with stomach problems. Halls were full, doors were slamming, loud music and drumming from a salon a few doors down the hall and downstairs too until midnight! Smoke in hallways. Sound proof rooms are advertised in the description! If these parties are what makes this hotel popular, then it should be included in the description and guests should be invited if they choose to come. I can include two videos that will give an idea of the noise level. Really off the scale! We stayed in Eastern Turkey for 30 days. This was our most expensive hotel as we wanted to celebrate our last three nights with comfort and luxury. False advertising! Parking and arrival were extremely difficult. This would not be an issue for people being transported from the airport, but for guests arriving in a rental car BEWARE!! Saturday afternoon, Urfa is jammed. (We would have come earlier in the day if we had been forewarned.) We spent two hours repeatedly trying to get to the hotel. The narrow uphill entrance ramp was blocked with cars with no drivers inside. No way to stop on the street. No way to get to the hotel. We circled several times trying to access. Finally, using what's app I suggested to the manager that we park at another hotel. Hotel manager said go for it and get a taxi. Other hotel said no, so we parked at a museum and had the Ali Han call a taxi. Then they did not want to pay for the taxi or the parking! It was a nightmare. Again, this would not be an issue for guests without their own transportation.

Zeliha Hanım sağolsun çok yardımcı oldu. Otel Balıklıgöl'ün dibinde. Ya otelde ya karşıda ya da arkasında sıra gecesi oluyor, 23.00'ten önce uyumanız imkansız. Yeri ultra iyi. Oda servisi menüsü çok geniş, fiyatları dışarısı gibi, tercih edilir. Kahvaltı yeterli fakat acı çok şey var. Urfa'da her yediğinizin acılığından emin olmalısınız. yataklar rahattı. Odalar sıcak oluyor. Klima maalesef çalıştığında aşırı kötü koktuğundan çalıştırmadık, idare ettik. Otel kesinlikle tekrar tercih edilir yalnız fiyatı biraz fazla.

Was a great room and view. All the good stuff is walkable. Also, they arranged a round trip driver to Gobekli Tepe for a very reasonable rate. Can’t miss with this one.

A different hotel atmosphere very near to the Fish lake and other attractions. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Room is spacious with adequate amenities. Buffet bfast has vast variety to choose from.

Great location. You dont need a car for sightseeing. Join sira gecesi at the same hotel which you will enjoy much. Staff is helpful and friendly. We had a nice stay.

Tarihi bölgeler, çarşı ve müzelere yürüme mesafesiyle mükemmel konumda. Personel güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Odalar temiz ve rahattı, ayrıca dekorasyon da bölgenin özelliklerini yansıtması açısından hoştu. Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum.

Güzel bir oteldi memnun kaldık

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr Zentral. Das Personal insbesondere Frau Atci war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, eigentlich gehen die Sterne an sie und an das restliche Personal. Die Sauberkeit ist im akzeptabelen bereich, aber verbesserungsbedürftig.

The hotel/room was absolutely beautiful. They offered delicious Turkish breakfast and sights such as Fish Lake, Mosque, Caves and Museum are all within very short walking distance. I’d happily stay here again!

Gayet temiz, gayet rahat çok güzel bir otel deneyimiydi. Kahvaltıyı çok beğendik. Çalışanlar her açıdan çok yardımcı oldular, çok güler yüzlü ve anlayışlılardı. Konumu çok güzeldi, zaten Balıklıgöl'e 0 denecek kadar yakında, onun dışında da gezilerden dönerken hep çarşıda gezebildik. 3-5 dk yürüme mesafesinde de otobüs durağı var. Güzel bir Şanlıurfa gezisi için kesinlikle düşünülecek bir otel.

I paid in advance for an executive suite. En route, I get a message from the hotel, saying that room was not available, but I would receive a suite with a balcony. I messaged the hotel to see if they would provide an airport transfer in lieu of the downgraded room… No response. At check in I received what I believe to be a regular suite NO balcony and no offer to compensate for the downgrade.

Otel konumu ve durumu çok güzel temiz ilgi güzel sadece sabah kahvaltı biraz düşük onun haricinde güzel tekrar gitmek isterim.

Otel sadece konum olarak guzel. Onun disinda hic bir artısı yok. Odalar cok eski. Banyo havalandirma pervazi tozdan ve pislikten kapanmisti neredeyse. Otopark otelin disinda. Restorantin kapali alaninda sigara iciriyorlar cok duman alti. Fiyat performans olarak cok zayif.

Charming, historical setting in the heart of the old city, just a few feet from The Pool of Abraham, directly across from the castle heights. Wonderful, tastefully decorated rooms in the Sultan theme, one of the best restaurants in town, second to none service all across the board. Highly recommended!

Casarão histórico, muito central, ao lado do Balikğol, belo parque central e histórico da cidade. O quarto era enorme, com todas as comodidades. Café da manhã tradicional em estilo buffet. Como é no centro, um pouco confuso de acessar com carro, mas nada impossível.

An absolutely beautiful hotel! Loved the decor, atmosphere and the staff were very professional. The gentleman at reception spoke really good English and helped answer any questions we had about the sites near the hotel. I defnitely recommend this place and would come here again

I stayed at this wonderful hotel for one night. The salient feature of this hotel is its location. It is right across from Balikligol, the main mosques, the bazaar, a 5 minute walk to the mosaic museum. Rooms are spacious, retro style and comfortable. The only things is that they should place carpets in the room, this will make rooms more cosy and comfortable. Breakfast is amazing, Rates are good for this level of hotel, medium range I would say. Highly recommended

Otelin yeri Balıklıgöl’e bir dakikalık yürüme mesafesinde idi. Kahvaltı doyurucu, çeşitli ve güzeldi. Çayı unutamayacağımız kadar lezzetli idi. Otelin temizliği gayet iyiyidi. Personel güleryüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Keyfe keder tek eleştirimiz aşırı gösterişli ve göz yoran tefrişi idi. Odadaki Rokoko stili koltuk çok lekeliydi.

Nice hotel. Rooms reflect the reasonable price paid and are a little dated but everything worked and were clean. Public areas are lovely with an Ottoman decor that I find appealing. Breakfast was typical Turkish style and was fine - coffee instant though. The outdoor part of the restaurant was nice and I ate there two night - food is good. Location great for the Balıklıgöl pool, the adjacent mosque, the bazaar and is just a 10 minute stroll through a lovely park to the excellent Şanlıurfa mosaic museum and archeological museum from where you can take a public bus to Göbekli Tepe.

Hôtel très bien situé près de Balikligöl, avec une jolie cour intérieure dans laquelle il est possible de prendre les repas. Le personnel est extrêmement serviable. Les chambres sont spacieuses.

Perfect hotel to stay in for visiting all the holy sites and attractions in and around Urfa, as it's pretty central to all of them. Walking distance from the Cave of Abraham, the Abraham mosque and Pool of Abraham. I loved that laundry service was available! Special thanks to Enver for being so incredibly kind and warm upon check-in and check-out as well as throughout my stay. He went above and beyond with his customer service and providing me recommendations and was the most professional. Also thanks to Sadat and Halil for their recommendations and kindness. Housekeeping men were sweet. There were a couple of minor areas needing improvement: The breakfast staff weren't welcoming nor smiling, and they never asked if anything was needed. So I didn't really look forward to breakfast for this reason- it was kind of depressing. A lot of the breakfast items didn't seem fresh; i.e., the cheese plates, sausages, etc seemed like they were from the previous day (and I came earlier in the morning the following days to see if perhaps I was wrong, but even then some breakfast items didn't seem as fresh). Internet/wifi was completely down for over 24 hours and this was extremely inconvenient. I would strongly suggest replacing all hotel room doors with modern ones, as they were dated and made the hotel less luxurious. But to retain the beauty and charm, paint the new doors the same way as the old ones. Overall, property was beautiful, safe and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel is in a pretty good location...walking distance to a number of the sites in town. But I will say thT it is a little tired and dated. The room has a small bathroom and the mattresses are average. Breakfast is a typical turkish buffet with something for rveryone. We hD dinner at the hotel and the minced beef swisher were pretty good. The air condoning was annoying because one side of the bed was blown all night. We decided to move tge bed away from this constant blowing of cold air.

The hotel is at the heart of the city. Parking is available. Rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast buffet offers a huge variety. In short a great place to stay in.

My man chose this hotel and it was really a nice one, in the city center. The historical han has an inner yard prefered for dinner, but if U ask me, I would make a pool there. Stuff friendly, food ok, bazar and historical places nearby. Rooms are not the best, U can hear the neighbours

The we booked a double room and got a triple, it was comfortable, however sheets were dirty on one of the beds, they were very quick to change them but still. The room could probably use a bit of work, no thrills. but as i said, it was comfortable enough. It also had a nice little balcony with a view of the castle. Location wise its in a great spot, right next to balikligol and the mosque. Breakfast was alright, again no thrills open buffet style. They state that they have parking and they do but the space is big enough for like 5 cars, so it was tricky getting in and out with a car.

Our stay was truly amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were so helpful and we enjoyed every minute here. The attention to detail was superb.

Very nice hotel with walking distance to all important places to visit. Staff was very decent , professional and helpful, open buffet Turkish style breakfast was very good, they also have a coffee/cappuccino machine, fruits and cakes. They allowed us one hour late checkout which we appreciate very much. The hotel is big with colourful decoration and vast rooms, we even got an upgrade. Bathroom has all kind of toiletry from shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shower gel, shower cap and earbuds. Towels and beds were very clean, Air conditioning was working excellently in these very hot June days. We felt very secure and had a great stay. I strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a great view of the old city and it was an ideal location to walk to some of the sites we wanted to see as we only ha one night. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and the staff were friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. They are painting the rooms with veneer (not especially beautiful) and the hallways are dirty from construction. Breakfast was very nice. Noisy location.

Early check-in much appreciated room was available and had a room upgrade as well on top of that,all signs of good services. Hotel close to all major sites specially Balikligol.plenty of places to eat around plus cafes as well .local bus stops close,no 63 goes to city centre bus stop also for Havas stop as well takes about 10 minutes. You can also catch Gobeklitepe minibus from the same stop for about 10 TL but you need Urfacard cost peanuts to buy 13 TL for the card plus 20 TL return top up overall a out $2.20 Free buffet breakfast was superb plenty of choices you wont go hungry.Staff very helpful will answer any queries as much as they can.would definately stay here againe

Breakfast was very good. Great location. Easy to walk to all the tourist places. Even after we checked out the hotel allowed us to leave our car parked there!

This hotel is amazing! Beautiful decorations and everyone is very helpful, thoughtful, and friendly! It was my birthday when I visited and they even brought me a cake! The location is also very central to the main tourist attractions.

Great value for money!

My room was next to the live music between 8-11 PM, so very loud, but the concierge offered me a quieter room without a balcony. But I opted for the loud room with a million-dollar view. Wifi was spotty, but the staff was very helpful and earnest.

Excellent location

This hotel was absolutely fabulous! The experience was surreal, the ambience was great. The staff provided over 5* service. The hotel was impeccably clean and beautifully arranged. The staff were so organised and client engaged that they even cared to bring a birthday cake when unexpected for one of us whom had their birthday coincidently on this spontaneous trip. The experience will not be forgotten. We cannot thank the staff enough who were available 24/7 to make this a journey of a life time. I am a frequent traveller and I would compare the staff and service provided at the hotel on par with another hotel I stayed in which was the Waldorf Rome Cavalieri in Rome. We were extremely delighted to have stayed here.
