Super friendly staff. Centrally located in a beautiful former monastery complex and with delicious breakfast.

A lovely authentic retreat, in a perfect location close to all the hustle and bustle of daily city life. This place will be recorded on my must revisit list. The staff are so attentive and the owner is fabulous. I felt really well taken care of and given privacy as needed. 5 stars all the way. I know people mainly visit this area for the historical sites and pass by quickly but I would definitely recommend a longer stay to get a feel of a real working city that’s lacking in the resort towns.
Nothing not to like but if I had to add something, a dinner option would be nice but no big deal since there’s plenty of excellent eating places nearby.
Assolutamente nulla.
It’s a beautiful and charming ancient monastery with old trees, ample terraces and patios. Rooms are big, comfortable and super clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is sumptuous! I highly recommend this hotel.
That it doesn’t have a restaurant. Only that.
One of the best hotels to stay in Şanlıurfa. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help whenever we needed anything. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good with plenty of options. What made our stay especially memorable was the hospitality of the staff. They not only assisted us with every request but also shared interesting information about the building and the history of Şanlıurfa, which added a special touch to our visit.

We spent three nights at this fantastic boutique hotel. The hotel is actually in an old monastery, and the building is about 600 years old. They did a fantastic job in restoring the monastery, and the rooms were very comfortable, clean, while retaining the original architecture. The hotel is in the old part of the town, within walking distance of the bazaar and several important sites. It is extremely quiet at night. The staff is excellent, always eager to help. The breakfast was amazing, the amount of food they brought out literally covered the entire surface of the large table. We will certainly return.
Nothing.
Exquisite hotel - outstanding staff, amazing breakfast, impeccably clean. Extraordinarily helpful in arranging transportation to various sites including Gobeklitepe. So glad we stayed here and can’t recommend it highly enough!
This is a charming older Hotel with stone walls and decorative façade. I liked it immediately. The bathroom area with shower was modern and comfortable with plenty of hot water. A generous traditional Turkish breakfast was provided every morning and the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. Fati and Hella were both very attentive, and in particular, Hella was worth her weight in gold. She went out of her way to help us find taxis, buses, stores and museums. She was professional but also genuinely kind and made it a pleasure to stay there. When our flight got cancelled she was especially helpful.
Only that the internet was sometimes spotty. We were here during a snow storm.
NO I WILL ABSOLUTE NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL fOR LONGER STAY than one night. The bathroom smelled. I had the room with the balcony. 1st floor. But unfortunately I have kept the door of the bathroom always closed. The smell of the sewerage was not nice. And I payed 100,- euro per night. Than there was a door for the staff downstairs, delivering supplies direct under my room. The corridor. This door slammed every 5 minutes. So I said something about it. 10 minutes it wend fine and than the door slammed the whole 4 days of my stay. I booked for 4 nights. It was bad weather. 14C instead of the 20C it supposed to be. I asked the reception man / boy for extra blanket. I got it 2 days later. And I got it when I arrived late in my hotel at 22 hr in the evening. So first 2 nights I had it very cold. Than I wanted to book a tour to Nemrut Dagi. A tour what take 3hrs to Nemrut Dagi and 3 hrs back. And I explicite said to the girl of the reception I want to go on Friday. Can you say that to the tour operator. Well what do you think? Tour was booked on Sunday, And Sunday the tour was cancelled because of the minimum amount of people was not reached. So wrong date (Friday) fault of receptionist and tour was not going. But I had to take a personal private taxi. Costs me 120,- euro extra. So if the receptionist had listen carefully he had booked the tour on Friday everything was fine. Furthermore there was a discotheque 50 meters from the hotel playing every evening loud music. The staff don't speak good english. If you ask to many things its bothering the staff members. And sorry to say but I asked regular stuff what is common for hotel guests. Tour for tourists and extra blanket. You run a hotel with good hospitality and dedication or you run a hotel and catch easy money with groups and one/two night stay visitors. I think the last one.
I Highly recommend this hotel amazing service, delicious breakfast and best location. Very helpful staff specially Fatih went out of his way to help us with finding tours, transport and entertainments. Will definitely come back! Thank you

Everything, the place is beautiful. But the staff was absolutely exceptional, probably the best hotel staff we have ever had. I became ill and not only did the staff walk my wife to the pharmacy to ensure everything was correct they also ordered food for me and delivered it to my room. I have been to 46 countries and thos was by far the best hotel staff I have ever had. The facilities are amazing as well.
The staff were attentive, professional and warmly characteristic. The hotel itself carries a very warm and comforting feeling. The staff introduced me to Ridvan, owner of Sore Tours, and we at breakfast and went on a tour of ancient sites. He is awesome to have as company amd as a knowledgeable guide, with facts and higher energies too. Ridvans insta - @gobeklitepe.tours
The poly blankets sparked at night time when touched. All in all I'd definitely stay again if I visited Urfa.
Beautiful hotel in the historical city center. The staff were wonderful and kind. The breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend this hotel!
This is a wonderful hotel and Yasmin and Fatih couldn’t be more helpful. The hotel has plenty of character to relax and enjoy. The breakfast is outstanding and the staff are very kind and helpful. Yasmin organised a guide for us, Ridvan from Sore Tours, who was knowledgeable an passionate and goes out of the way to show you the sights and more.
Arranged an airport pick up through the hotel but unfortunately the driver was careless, driving too fast while on his mobile the entire time and taking risks in traffic. We spent the whole journey hoping to get to the hotel in one piece. It was a horrible way to start the trip. If you arrange a transfer through the hotel make sure you ask for a driver who cares about safety.
This is a beautiful hotel!!! The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and unique designs based on the fact that the building was originally a monastery. The staff was extremely attentive. The food was amazing! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would absolutely stay there again!!
Dennoch klare Empfehlung.
Belle architecture, excellent petit-déjeuner, personnel compétent et dévoué.
The property is an old church around 600 years old and stunning, the staff are excellent and full of information about the hotel and area of Urfa, located close to all sights in the area. Fatih was excellent and a great help, would recommend anyone to stay.
Desayuno fantástico, bien ubicado, personal encantador

Sehr freundliche personal, historische Ausstattung, zentral
Beautiful family owned property with excellent service and delicious breakfast.
Hotellet är trevligt och även personalen. Fantastisk byggnad med mycket kultur. Frukosten var också mycket bra.
Charming historic home with central courtyard, rooftop views and well-decorated rooms. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff (aided by Google translate). Quick laundry turn-around. Plenty of hot water with good pressure. Short walk to wonderful central bazaar
On day when a bus tour was staying and used up all the space, we had to eat breakfast in the (atmospheric) stone cellar with no windows or wifi. Always challenging to fully modernise an historic place, but charging points in the room were hard to access and could not accommodate adapters.
Very good location and very helpful staff. Language could have been an issue but the friendliness and effort of the staff took care of any issues.
Everything was excellent.
Really beautiful old property in a great location with excellent breakfast and helpful service including helping us with our luggage from the car parking space. The view from the roof terrace was terrific. Emin was particularly helpful in sorting out a problem for us. A great stay.
Spacious and comfortable with charming ambience. Staff were very obliging and location is really convenient. Tour organised with Ridvan from Sore (soray) travel was a standout. We had a delightful day and rearranged the schedule as we went along to add in a visit to the fascinating Sogmatar and Haran. It was a magical day.
Perfect
Such a cool place!! You get to stay in a piece of history! I’m not 100% sure but I think it was a 12th century Armenian Church. Very interesting architecture everywhere. It’s like staying in a museum! And the people were extremely friendly!! I loved the waitresses at breakfast in the morning. Oh and the food was so good!! The beds were absolutely heavenly! And the staff brought us çay and freshly squeezed orange juice when we arrived. They also helped us get a good parking spot right next to the area where there is a gate to the little hidden medieval village. And the staff helped us with our luggage and brought us brochures in English to explain all of the fun things to learn about and explore around the area. We didn’t see many other American tourists and I loved that! Just shows me that this is not a well known destination outside of the local tourism… and it makes it even better to walk through an area that is untouched by westernization. And it wasn’t too far to drive to Gobeklitepe, Karahantepe, and Harran. It is about 3 hours to Mount Nemrut, but you can’t have everything lol! The town has everything you need! Restaurants with Delicious food in really amazing ancient buildings with some great historical stories. I would love to go there again!!
Yürüyerek her yere ulaşabiliyorsunuz.
Lovely place in a very good location in the old city. Great breakfast. Clean, pretty rooms. They even made sure we had a sandwich to take with us and a smooth departure for an early morning flight.
Beautiful, atmospheric property. Very kind and helpful owner and staff. Assisted with access to Mr Ridwan Derin at Sore Travel in Urfa who was an extraordinary guide and host.
Great place from check in to check out. Helpful friendly staff, impeccably clean, fantastic breakfast. You won't go wrong booking a room here. Perfect in every way.
The Tessera is a beautifully restored Armenian monastery, and tastefully done to today's standards. The breakfast is outstanding, with endless choices, and all of good quality. The bathroom has excellent water pressure in the shower and the bed is very comfortable. Unfortunately, many/most staff do not speak English (or Spanish, or French). As a suggestion, a quick, elementary English course for staff in simple English communication would be of great help for travelers.
Aside from a gorgeous look and great location, this hotel really looks after guests. They went above and beyond to make our trip to Urfa fun and welcoming. This is a hospitality driven business, which cares for their guests as they would visiting family. Nothing was too much trouble. There was lots of suggestions about how to spend our time we took, and had a much richer time because of it. The breakfast is excellent.

Kısa bir konaklama olmasına rağmen mükemmel geçti çalışanlara ayrıca teşekkür ederim ilgi alaka mükemmel tekrar görüşmek dileğiyle
Lovely people. Very helpful. Just be aware there are a lot of stairs to climb. There are a few rooms on the ground floor so if you have mobility issues, maybe ask for one of those. Also, the breakfast is pretty small. And no restaurant at night. But that’s ok. The people were so kind, it makes up for all that.
Well done restored historic property in a great location: walking distance to museums, bazaars, and historic sites. Lots of levels and courtyards provided great variety of spaces. The staff were fantastic- very accommodating and helpful despite the language barrier (Google translate was used a lot). The breakfast was a feast. They even made a special early breakfast for me when I had to catch an early bus.
Some music venues in the neighborhood were loud, but quiet after midnight. Turning on the A/C and the thick walls solved that issue.
Yasmeen and her family did an amazing job transforming this property! This ex-monestary/chruch turned boutique hotel is gorgeous! The staff is very welcoming and super lovable! It felt like home! They are so kind! The property is updated and amazing! Breakfast was delicious! Definitely stay here! Seconds walk to downtown.
A beautiful historic hotel, with a great staff
A few too many cats, not good if you're allergic
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast, great communication. Everything I was hoping for during my visit. They provide contact for a guide, Ridvan DERIN, whose English was excellent and mot only lead a fantastic tour but also was fun to talk to about local culture. This is the place to stay,
A lovely building with a romantic atmosphere. Very welcoming staff who bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed our stay. A sumptuous breakfast
The manager overruled our guide's dinner recommendation and we ended up in a place where we were seriously ripped off. The hotel collected from us cash for a transfer in an old yellow cab at the sane price as our arrival in a sleek Audi
The breakfast was outstanding; the location was good and the ambience of the old hotel was great. The staff were great, friendly and helpful and the owner has a passion to renovate the old house. Try the Kurdish coffee.
Position was noisy with restaurant music next door; expensive room for the facilities offered; no clear instructions on parking.
Tessera hotels a hidden gem in Sanliurfa, the place is so elegant and with such beautiful and tasteful decorations details. Breakfast is an amazing Turkish Delight. The place was 300 hundrend year old monastery , so you feel you are staying in such a special place. It have like 5 terraces you can enjoy the views of the town. Is close everything you have to visit in Sanliurfa. The owner Mrs.Jazmine, was so attentive with us seems we arrived. And everybody that work there we always in top of everything you will need in you stay. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU TO MAKE OUR TRIP SO SPECIAL. If your visiting Sanliurfa, please dont miss this Hotel.
I love that it was within the old area of Urfa, it was a beautiful stone building that was converted from an Armenian church. It was filled with trees, plants, helpful staff and friendly cats. I large Turkish breakfast was also included
That I wasn’t able to spend more time
Beautifully restored historic building - old Armenian church complex - sensitively renovated maintaining and restoring original features. Excellent breakfast. Generous early check in and late checkout. Very professional owner Jasmine who is clearly passionate about her project.
Nothing
Beautiful renovated Armenian monastery. Quiet central courtyard. Tea was plentifully available. Parking was free, however a short walk away. That is the price for being in the old city. Location was brilliant - we could walk to Urfa's highlights and dining options
A lot of steps for some rooms. If this is an issue for you, request a central courtyard room. Serving staff and room attendants need much more training. Doona did not have cover the first night. Some breakfast items were missing.
This journey was truly unforgettable, marked by encounters with remarkable individuals. Yasmine, the owner of this enchanting, secluded retreat—a genuine sanctuary for travelers—stands out among them. The entire place is imbued with history, which comes as no surprise given the owner's love for the history and her meticulous preservation of every piece of heritage. She has restored an old monastery and opened it to all who wish to experience a connection with the past. Yasmine was patient and thoughtful, virtues she has instilled in her entire team. The rooms in the complex are not only aesthetically pleasing and comfortable but also come with modern conveniences (the chandelier in our room was a masterpiece). Traditional Turkish breakfasts were bountiful and served with finesse. The hotel's location in the historic part of the city is ideal, mere steps away from Balıklıgöl, the marketplace, the fortress, the archaeological museum, and the fresco museum. A bus stop nearby offers services to Göbekli Tepe. Exploring the old town, with its authentic, narrow, cobbled lanes, offers a unique charm. The hospitality and openness of the locals were astounding; they were always ready to put aside their tasks to assist. Our gratitude to Yasmine for a splendid stay is boundless, and we yearn to return. The hotel staff was considerate and accommodating, with Fatih excelling in his profession. The room cleaning was faultless! We also recommend services of Rıdvan Derin, a regional travel advisor.
We spent two nights at this hotel in Sanliurfa. We had two rooms and enjoyed them very much. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Our rooms were upstairs and we climbed stairs to get tho them (no lift), which was fine for us, but would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. There is no parking on site, but there is a car park quite close to the hotel. Only about 5 minute walk to the bazaar and ten minute walk to Balikligol.
Unique and beautiful property and about a 10-15 minute walk to Pools of Abraham.
They changed the room I booked on Booking.com. I had to argue with them to get them to give me the room I booked. Room smelled like an ashtray tray even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. Listing on booking.com says free parking but in reality you are directed to a parking lot just up the street that charges $8 a day to park. No big deal... but dont say free parking when it was not. Staff was just OK.
Amazing people great service all around wonderful
Beautiful hotel !
The history and architecture of the building and room. The host was so friendly and personable, and gave me a tour of the place explaining the history. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the eggs. I would definitely stay here again.
They need to get some new towels.
A equipe é jovem e gentil.
Room very large, confortable and cleaned. Staff very professional and kind. The structure is historical and fascinating, immersed in the heart of Sanliurfa. Quality of the food was good.
The structure is not very accessible for the rooms in the second floor. There are stairs to arrive there.
Beautiful place. One of the best place. Highly recommended.
One of the best hotels in the area, service is top notch, beautiful historic interior with modern utilities, breakfast with a variety, transportation and shopping within a walking distance, staff have the utmost respect and hospitality, the manager Fatih was amazing !
The hotel is a 600 years old beautifull restaurated place. The owner miss yasemin and and her staf, edoecially Fatih are extremist helpfull and friendly
Very very good breakfast and location. Convenient parking lot nearby.
Cappadocia is a windowless room. Personally, I don't like caves
A remarkably airy, calm and beautiful space in the heart of the old city. Spacious, tastefully furnished deluxe rooms organized around two connecting open air courts - including gentle fountain and pomegranate tree. Abundant and varied Turkish breakfasts. Really a very pleasant and safe-feeling place to stay - offering a decidedly local and personal experience without sacrificing modern comforts and discretion. The owner was more than generous with her time and advice, and all staff showed great patience as we sought common platforms of communication in this multicultural, multi religion, multi language city.
Nice location, friendly personnel, close to bazar, close to balikgol, clean rooms and good breakfast, Free parking 1 minute walking
while the hote itself is gorgeous (some sort of old armenian monastery the owner renovated beautifully), the highlight of our stay was the staff!! Fatim and Mustafah (sorry if i write your names wrong) were the best! all the time caring for us, tea, coffee and food anytime of the day, and helpful advices for our daily plans. Thank you so much!
Fantastic hotel! Would love to come back!
