I wish there was a pool that would’ve made it the most perfect hotel in El Paso

I love this hotel. I've stayed at The Plaza several times. It is beautiful and friendly with a uniquely decorated interior. There is a lot of attention to detail. I particularly love the artwork in the hallways. There is a lot of detail to notice and admire throughout the hotel. The decorator beautifully married Texas and Mexico in the details!

I loved all the help the staff was able to provide us, i have never stayed at a hotel with valet and or having someone help me with my bags up to the room and i thought that was such a wonderful experience that it will definitely bring us coming back in the future!

The location was very nice, but i seemed like it was quick busy in the area and had to find spots to turn around due to some roads being closed

I loved how kind the staff were to both me and my dog during our stay! Everyone was very sweet and very accommodating there was even a bowl and dog bed waiting for us in the room when we checked in!

The only thing that was kind of annoying (but is also completely out of their control so doesn't really count) was that there was construction right across from the hotel on Oregon street but they never made any noise during quiet hours so it didn't really impact my stay. But that's how wonderful the hotel is, that's the only thing I can really comment on and it's not even their fault!

The room was very nice. They upgraded us to a suite, however it was not completely cleaned up. We were confused by the leftovers and wasn’t sure if the previous guest has checked out.

We extended to stay one more night, and the front desk girl told us there were breakfast included. But when we checked out, the other girl insisted our room didn’t come with breakfasts. We ended up having very expensive meals at the downstairs restaurant.

Die Qualität des Hotels und der Bar bzw. des Restaurants sowie die Professionalität des Personals sind beinahe zur Rarität geworden. Ich würde gerne Hervorhebungen machen, aber sowohl das Essen und die Drinks im La Perla (UND DIE AUSSICHT ERST!!), das großzügig geschnittene, mit allem und mehr ausgestattete und - was paradox erscheint - gemütliche Fitnesscenter, die Pflegeprodukte auf dem Zimmer als auch das Lounge-/Frühtsücksrestaurant sind einfach perfekt gewesen. Von der Gastfreundlichkeit und Professionalität der Menschen des La Plaza war ich schwer beeindruckt. Ich bin sehr dankbar, dass es noch Hotels zu diesem Preis auf diesem Niveau gibt!

The A/C wasn’t working in the room and needed to move rooms at midnight due to it being too hot and had maintenance check it out.

Contrairement à ce qui était annoncé, il n'y avait pas dans la chambre de coin repas. Le réfrigérateur n'était pas non plus utilisable car déjà entièrement rempli.

The hotel is a gorgeous historic property that was updated with modern amenities yet retains it's 1930's era architecture. Our room was both spacious and luxurious with everything we needed. The tequila bar was amazing. We enjoyed our visit. The customer service was outstanding. When we arrived Victor was waiting to guide us to an oversized vehicle parking spot. Javier at check in was so helpful and told us about the onsite restaurant and other amenities. Moises showed us to our room and got our luggage there quickly. Check out was easy and fast. Two of the valet parking staff assisted us in exiting the oversized vehicle parking area which was a huge help as driving an oversized vehicle downtown in any city is not easy. Thanks to them it was much easier. This was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable hotel stops we've ever had, and we travel frequently. Kudos to a well run establishment.

There isn’t any sound screening for outside. You can hear everything! Even in a suite on the 14th floor. Couldn’t sleep all night. Worst sleep/non sleep I ever had in an expensive suite.

Perfect location to stay for my event happening at the Convention Center. Beautiful, clean hotel. The room was very comfortable. Just wish the bathroom had a real door instead of a barn door for more privacy. I do love the robe. I also appreciated the ice bags that they have now. The staff is always great. The valet are awesome. Poor Moises had to run to the parking garage to see if I had accidentally dropped my watch in my car before they took it. It was kind of embarrassing, but he was very gracious and he found it! We ate dinner at Ambar for the first time and our waitress Oileen was fabulous. Very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious too.

We are El Paso natives, but chose The Plaza as our wedding venue. We booked the beautiful South Terrace, and the service did not disappoint. Our guests loved it, and we did too. The room we stayed in was absolutely breathtaking. The views of downtown El Paso were perfect. We are looking forward to booking here for our future anniversaries.

Amazing atmosphere! Beautiful room & clean. Food was great one of the best restaurants I’ve been too Gabriel was our server, he was awesome we had breakfast and dinner here & cant say enough good things!! Valet & bellmen were great , Moises & Jesus were helpful when we came in. Angel helped us w all of our luggage when we left the whole valet team was great when we left (Mike, angel,james, and carlos)The roof top bar had a great view. Definitely would love to stay here again one of the best hotel experiences.

Moises was excellent very helpful with our bags and showing us everything in the room.

Cynthia was amazing and Moises was great! I was so tired after driving into town. Moises took my luggage up and brought me extra waters. Cynthia put me in a corner room and the hotel is very lovely!

Hosted a mid-sized wedding on the South Terrace in the middle of summer. As a venue, it was perfect. The location of the hotel itself is impeccable and offers great views. Lighting is chic, indoor and outdoor spaces are very customisable and classy. By 7pm, heat was manageable and okay. Staff was VERY professional- to an extent that is very hard to come by in El Paso. Event coordinators are responsive and urgent. Complimentary suite was also beautiful and very convenient. I will stay again when in El Paso, and would happily host another event there.

Had an excellent dinner. Delicious food, nice atmosphere. And Maria, our server, made the whole experience special.

We had an excellent time staying at the Plaza! We were greeted by Angel Gomez the Bellman who carried all our luggage to our rooms, and gave us instructions about how everything worked, which was very helpful! At the front desk we met Nicole, and Cynthia and Sam, very friendly and answered all our questions. I had requested our two rooms be close to each other and near the elevator, and that’s exactly what was assigned to us, we were very happy ! The hotel is gorgeous, and all the staff were very friendly! I will definitely stay here again!

Mike Karola and Angel made my visit at the Plaza in El Paso super enjoyable. Mike was an encyclopedia of knowledge about El Paso's history and culture. He answered all my inquiries and showed me La Perla on the rooftop even though it was closed at the time. Angel at valet parking was also very friendly and accommodating. I will be back.

I literally just arrived at the hotel, and my stay is already off to a perfect start because of Luis Sanchez. From the moment I stepped through the doors, he made my arrival incredibly smooth, welcoming, and stress-free.Luis helped me settle into my room immediately and took the time to show me how everything works. He then gave me an amazing breakdown of the local area, pointing out the best nearby restaurants, bars, and coffee shops so I know exactly where to go.He is super friendly, enthusiastic, and delivers top-tier customer service. If this arrival is any indication of how the rest of my trip will go, I am in for a fantastic stay. Thank you, Luis, for the warm welcome!

The hotel is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our issue was requesting an ada room and being told only a suite was available. It was great and large but my husband could not get in the shower.

It was a stunning property! I arrived pretty early and they confirmed that my room was ready so they would allow me to check in early which I have never experienced. Staff was very accommodating and friendly! Great atmosphere! Beds were super comfy and the shower pressure was great. room had all the necessities and more they all had a very nice mini bar ( best one i have seen so far )

Had an early flight 430am - i texted the Valet to request my car 15 -16 mins prior to going downstairs checked out and did not hear back from valet and I asked the front desk if there was valet as i needed my car as i had texted and needed to now leave. she called a couple times and almost 15-20 mins after i checked out they pulled up the car so it was a total of 30+ mins from when i requested the car. It would not have been a big deal and would not have minded waiting had i not planned to leave at the last min since I knew the airport is close by and airport not to busy. With this valet delay I barley made it. Aside from this little hiccup it was great! No complaints

We arrived late and restaurants were closing. The staff still tried to accommodate us as best as possible. We went ahead and ordered room service but they were willing to sit us even though they were closed.

What made the whole service more special was our friendly, patient, knowledgeable server, Gabriel. My friend and I just came from a stressful court case (his case was closed as it should have been a year ago), and I felt blessed that we had Gabriel as our Gabriel. My friend was on the phone calling his family to tell them the wonderful news. I didn’t feel rushed at all by Gabriel and when we asked detailed questions about the menu, he knew his stuff and was correct!! I can’t handle spice and the salsa he recommended was not spicy at all. The food was very delicious and hit the spot😋 I definitely recommend this place. We went for lunch. I would request Gabriel and let him know Kelly sent ya 😉 You definitely won’t be disappointed!

We stayed for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. Absolutely amazing experience—customer service is off the charts! Brenna was our server for dinner and she was the best!! Super sweet and attentive!! Great experience—we’ll be back for sure! Only negative was the rooftop bar where drinks and service were not great. View is worth checking out tho.

My stay at The Plaza in El Paso was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end. The moment I stepped out of my car at valet, Moises welcomed us with professional, top-tier service and made us feel valued throughout our entire stay. His attitude, professionalism, and attention to detail truly stood out and elevated the whole experience. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. My room was on the 9th floor with a gorgeous view. Everything was spotless, and the thoughtful details in the design gave the property such a rich and elegant feel. Every part of the experience reflected quality and care. The location is also ideal, surrounded by a beautiful area that’s perfect for walking and exploring. Between the stunning hotel, incredible service, and amazing atmosphere, this was easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend staying here, and a special thank you again to Moises for making our visit unforgettable!

The Plaza Hotel is a beautiful landmark property with a fabulous restaurant and bar. My wife and I had a wonderful three-day stay overall, though we were disappointed in a few areas where the service fell short of expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Housekeeping lacked the consistency one would expect. We received turndown service on only two of the four nights, and a pre-order breakfast card was provided the first evening but not on the remaining nights. In addition, some trash was not removed during one day’s cleaning service. We were also disappointed with room service responsiveness. On two separate occasions, I attempted to place a room service order by phone but was unable to connect because no one answered the line. Despite these issues, we truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel’s elegance, atmosphere, and overall charm.

Our stay was perfect. Very nice historic hotel and the roof top atmosphere was amazing. We didn’t have reservations but the other side was perfect as you have great views of the city and can appreciate the architecture. Alan, Yahir, Aldo, Isabella, and Jorge provided excellent service !!

The breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff was very helpful, especially Jared. He was very attentive and with a great sense of customer service. The music was soothing and overall, we had an amazing experience.

Location of the hotel was great. It was located at the corner of downtown plaza, near plenty of landmarks and eating options.

Room was much smaller than expected. Paid for a suite, which was confirmed when I checked in. However, the room was not much bigger than a standard room. There was a small sitting area, and the sleeping area with a partition between the two, that's it. I was expecting a lot more space for a suite.

Excellent experience! There are a bunch of little details that make the atmosphere of this hotel so elegant (looooved the scents of the bathroom’s accessories!). I felt I was treated like a celebrity 😜. All the people I had the honor to meet were next level, specifically Moises was exceptional kindness!!, Hector Vinalay- at the restaurant was superb!!!, Carola at the front desk was first class! Overall, I recommend this place if you are looking for a memorable experience!

casi me lo iban a cancelar la reservacion porque BOOKING no paso mi dato a hotel , y como hotel hizo overbooking por concierto de BTS, solamente me mandaron correo y me lo iban a cancelar, justo ya cuando estaba en camino, les hable por telefono al hotel y tuve q dar nuevamente dato de mi tdc para q no cancelara la reservacion. Muy MAL DE PARTE DE BOOKING Y TAMBIEN DE HOTEL , casi me iba a quedar sin hospedaje.

We had a wonderful time staying at The Plaza while traveling. The rooms were clean and quiet and we loved walking around the downtown area. The Valet services were fantastic and saved us a lot of time. Mike Atila and Alan Cesar were so helpful and even helped us load our bags into our car for us. Couldn’t have asked for better service! We will definitely stay again in the future!

We attended Mother’s Day brunch event and had a great time. Our servers Francisco Cook was wonderful. All the food was delicious specially the pastry team led by Jackie Rojo and her team of Raquel, Kiara, and Sara.

As Texan as it gets, right across from the Paso Del Norte is another 5-star. In a country and sate built for the best: valet staff Isabella, Aldo, Yahir and Jorge were delightful to talk too, will be staying here again, awesome experience. I want to meet the person who is responsible for this marvel, because the beautiful hotel that I’ve been to all of my life is long past since 1909. This one shows the same vision.

We had a great experience at Amber in El Paso. Our server, Maria, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. She made the whole visit feel welcoming. The food was really good as well, and everything came out just the way we hoped. Overall, a wonderful dining experience and we’ll definitely be coming back.

My first room was smelly, but Ariana was quick to set me up with another room. The second room was clean and perfect. I was very happy with the change. ❤️ The GM sent over complimentary food and drink vouchers for the evening for the inconvenience. I am really grateful.

The room was roomy, very clean and most of all quiet. You did not hear people talking or pounding on roof from upstairs room. Shower was excellent. Breakfast in the restaurant was prepared exactly as ordered.
