Aspira Cruise

Such a wonderful boat. Really beautiful and had everything we needed. Highly recommend everyone does the 3 day 2 night option as you miss an entire amazing day trip on the shorter cruise. The food was great and the staff go above and beyond to make the experience special. We didn’t feel the bay was crowded or dirty and loved being able to go to Lan Ha bay too. They made me feel very special on my birthday too!

The staff for the cruise were extremely friendly and the cruise was a lot of fun with kayaking and beautiful views. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. Dinner was delicious.

The room, the activities and the meals

The cruise boat was very clean, our room was lovely. We opted for the 3 day/ 2nights and wish we had even longer. Lan Ha Bay is stunning and our day trip was amazing - cycling to Viet Hai Village, learning about the history of Cat Ba, swimming off the day boat and kayaking in the still waters was so special. The crew onboard Aspira were wonderful, attentive, friendly and personable. In particular, young Aki was wonderful and a real asset to the team. Our manager, John was amazing - his genuine happiness and eagerness to ensure everyone was having a good time was a stand out. He also helped us with some transfers from the boat which saved us so much time and was a unique experience. I couldn’t recommend this cruise enough!

I only wish a longer stay option was available.

I wish we could have stayed longer

Staff were lovely, but unfortunately, there was no wifi anywhere on the cruising boat, vegan options for my partner were very average, a very dated boat in terms of interior, tv did not work as there was no wifi, couldnt use phone, the cruise timeline was very structured and strict with timelines on breakfast and dinner, offering of food was poor, in the executive suite, balcony was shared with a neighbouring cabin, sheets were dirty with stains on arrival, shower drain didnt drain the water, very limited snacks or drinks to purchase. I do not recommend.

Impeccable service with warm and friendly staff. John explained the whole cruise and timelines and made us feel extremely comfortable and well looked after. Nothing was too much for him or the staff, their aim was for us to have the best possible experience and time in Ha Long Bay. Sunrise took exceptional care of us in the dinner area - she was extremely warm and genuine, she genuinely cared about us having the best holiday. Food was amazing. We particularly enjoyed the kayaking. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone going to Ha Long Bay, it’s very special.

Helpangsjon men bare vann til frokost, ingen juice eller melk. Opplegget med grotte var ikke veldig spennende, trodde det var den ordentlige grotten men det var det ikke. Forventet egentlig noe mer spennende opplevelser.

The whole boat is beautiful with care and attention to every detail. Cabins are very spacious, excellent bathroom and a lovely balcony.

The cruise was awesome. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious. The facilities are getting a bit worn and old but were clean and very comfortable. Our room was stunning- an amazing view! I recommend this cruise to anyone looking for the Ha Long Bay experience !!

The spa experience wasn’t great. I expected it to be a bit classier but it was very average.

We loved the one night cruise. The staff were exceptional! John, Aki and Tom were wonderful.

The location was very good. The staff were very helpful and courteous. It was rain forecast for the 1 night that we stayed. The staff still tried to provide a good experience to all the guests.

They could have planned more indoor activities given the weather forecast was wet and stormy.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming. We managed to get a free upgrade which was a lovely surprise. Special shout out to Aki!!!

Het eten was erg goed, de bedden zeer comfortabel en de kamers ruim en in goede staat.

Het balkon was klein, onze kamer lag vlak bij de machine kamer dus we roken uitlaat gassen en hoorden erg veel lawaai. Er waren veel andere schepen in de buurt. De tv op de kamer deed het niet.

We got a free upgrade to Azura cruise. Staff were great and there were a decent amount of activities on board. The cruise was very comfortable. The staff also took our feedback seriously.

I had a poor experience with the shuttle bus transfer en route the cruise. The bus was slightly late and we were not briefed about the pit stop. The return transfer was a much better experience where we were briefed and the bus was much nicer.

The experience was perfect

Drie dagen / twee nachten is zeker aan te raden. Super lekker eten (ook voor kinderen ) en de boottrip op de tweede dag gaat naar een rustige plek waar je oa van de boot kunt springen en kayakken naar een privé strandje Vriendelijk personeel en we kregen zelfs van John voor ons en kids een upgrade naar VIP rooms voor de tweede nacht!

The staff was exceptional and took care of everything. John, the cruise manager, was excellent and planned a variety of activities that we could opt to participate in. The food was outstanding- it felt like we were eating at a 5 star restaurant and there was a large variety. The room was super nice with a very private balcony. Would 10/10 recommend!

The staff were exceptional. John and Aki could not do enough for the both of us. We were lucky enough to be selected for our room to be upgraded! It was a gorgeous room and the bath was a highlight. As two backpackers we really enjoyed living in luxury for 2 nights. We loved the sunset happy hour and the cooking demonstrations. We also loved the kayaking through the beautiful caves. The care, kindness and attentiveness of the staff of this cruise was a highlight. They got to know us so well and really looked after us. Thank you Aspira cruises!

كانت تجربتنا مع Aspira Cruise رائعة جدًا من البداية إلى النهاية. المناظر الطبيعية كانت خلابة، والسفينة نظيفة وفاخرة، وجميع الأنشطة كانت منظمة بشكل ممتاز. شكر خاص لكل من جون (John) وإيكا (Ika) ونغا (Nga). كانوا في غاية اللطف والاحترافية والتعاون، وكانوا دائمًا مستعدين للمساعدة بابتسامة. خدمتهم المميزة جعلت رحلتنا أجمل بكثير. ولأننا كنا في شهر العسل، فاجأونا بترقية مجانية للغرفة، وزينوا السرير بالورود، وأحضروا لنا كيكة، وغنوا لنا للاحتفال. كانت لفتة جميلة جدًا وأسعدتنا كثيرًا، ولن ننساها أبدًا. الخدمة بشكل عام راقية جدًا، والطعام جيد، والضيافة ممتازة. جميع أفراد الطاقم كانوا يهتمون بأدق التفاصيل ويحرصون على راحة الضيوف طوال الرحلة. بشكل عام كانت تجربة أكثر من رائعة، وأنصح بها بشدة لكل من يزور خليج هالونغ. لن تندم على اختيار هذه الرحلة.

We spent a long time deciding which cruise to book, and Aspira was the best choice, great value for money! The crew was fantastic, especially tour manager John and assistant Aki (Peter). They were friendly, helpful, and kept us well informed throughout the trip. The itinerary was well balanced with fun activities and enough free time to relax and enjoy the scenery. The food was exceptional—almost everything was delicious. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a balcony and bathtub overlooking Ha Long Bay as a highlight. I 100% recommend the 3D2N option. The second day completes the experience with biking, kayaking, jumping from the boat, and a giant slide. We would have missed out on so much otherwise. We couldn’t have asked for a better cruise and would happily recommend Aspira to anyone visiting Ha Long Bay.

The beds are a bit hard, but honestly that has been our experience everywhere in Vietnam, so it did not suprise us.

The rooms and the bathroom were fantastic and very clean! The menu and food were amazing. The activity (expecially cooking demonstration and Thai Chi) were very fun. The staff was really kind, expecially Mrs. Green, super lovely!

From the time we arrived on the boat we experienced the warmest of welcomes, the staff on-board are a credit to the Aspira brand. John, Nancy, Sophia, Vy and the two Tom's stood out the most with their beautiful smiles and warm and inviting demeanour. The above mentioned staff have left a lasting positive experience in our hearts and minds for ever. The dedication of all Aspira crew left us with a warm and refreshing experience. I cannot express enough the gratitude from our group. Well done Aspira!!! 🙂

There wasn't anything to dislike

The ship is beautiful & immaculately clean. The rooms a bigger than most hotel rooms. We loved having a balcony. They catered to vegetarians very well.

I think the dinner should be more Vietnamese inspired.

Amazing staff, especially Lee who was very kind and informative during the bus ride, and was very quick to reply and help me when I messaged about items I left on the bus. Made the journey enjoyable from the time we were picked up to the very end of the cruise. 😁

Some fixtures and furniture seemed a bit worn out.

Fantastisk upplevelse! Väldigt fint rum, med väldigt vacker utsikt. Rummen ser faktiskt ut som på bild till skillnad från många andra boenden i vietnam. Bra och lagom mycket aktiviteter som man får välja om man vill vara med på eller inte. Mycket god mat, jättetrevlig personal och trevliga bemötanden. Vi förlovade oss på båten och det var helt fantastiskt. Verkligen en upplevelse som kan rekommenderas! Stort tack till John och Aki som ledde oss igenom resan fenomenalt!

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, really couldn’t have been any nicer - everyone from the pick up to the staff on board. They made the whole experience great fun. Rooms were lovely, very luxurious with big bathrooms and a nice balcony to sit out on and take in the views (which are amazing).

Our experience with Aspira Cruise was disappointing. The schedule felt extremely rushed from start to finish, and the staff seemed very focused on keeping everyone moving quickly. The cruise lasts less than 24 hours: boarding is around midday, but checkout is already at 9:30 a.m., and we were reminded twice by staff knocking on our door, which felt quite stressful. The activities also felt repetitive, with kayaking offered twice, while other entertainment options were very limited. The Tai Chi session at 6:00 a.m. was much too early for such a short cruise. In addition, drinks were very expensive, and I was surprised to be charged extra for coffee simply because I arrived after the breakfast coffee service had ended. Internet connection was almost nonexistent during the trip.

The executive suite was exactly as pictured! The boat was Immaculate and very clean. I booked this cruise as it was the closest to the old junk boats I’d been on 15years ago as sadly it’s mainly giant cruise ships now. John and his team were always present and extremely helpful. The massage was super relaxing. Food was delicious.

The cocktails weren’t amazing but I’ve found that’s pretty much standard everywhere in Vietnam.

Wifi not great, but that's not surprising, and not expected to be good out at sea. Set Dinner was too much for me. And would have preferred more a Vietnamese buffet.

If you are going on a cruise in Ha Long bay you can safely choose Aspira cruise. The boat was nice, not too big, the rooms were great with nice, private balcony. Good food and fun acitivities. We recommend to stay two nights. In that way you get much more out of the cruise, more interesting activities and more peace of mind....The day we came, we went on a kayak (or bamboo boat) trip through a cave. The day after, when most of the passengers went home, some of us who stayed for two nights, had a lovely day trip with a smaller boat. The host was great, we saw much more of the area and the nature, we went on a very nice bike ride (or you could ride electric cars) on Cat ba island and went kayaking and swimming in a small bay. The lunch onboard was huge and great. A calm trip and a nice sundeck. Back at the main boat we had a different dinner (both evenings 5 dishes) than the day before....Small, but nice pool, nice sun deck and a bar. Good massage. Nancy, leading staff, and (Bruce) Lee who guided us on the bustrip to and from the hotel to the boat were both very accommodating, pleasant and service minded. The bus (not the limo) was surprisingly good.

Nothing special about this cruise, but if you expect clear water, do not. As you probably know, you are not alone, there are a lot of other boats, but the nature experience is still very nice. Its calm, and specially when you stay two nights and go a little further, you go places where there are not many others...Guess it will depends from trip to trip.... We question emissions from the boats at sea.... Some places there are garbage, but not as much as we had read about. Nature conservation should and could probably be improved

The boat was very nice and the room was spacious with a huge bath as promised and the balcony was great. The captain of the day boat was friendly and tried hard to please, chatting to us and he was informative of the local area. The dinner was nice.

BUT the bed is possibly to hardest most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on .. it felt like we were sleeping on a plank of wood. The schedule didn't always make sense and setting breakfast from 7-7:30am seemed unnecessary when we were hoping for a relaxing time. After making us rise at 6:30 we then sat around waiting for the activities to start so it seemed breakfast could have been set for later or at least longer than 30 minutes. The staff started cleaning our tables before we were often finished! This was mostly at breakfast. The dinner was very nice. The activities were a bit repetitive. The constant push for us to buy drinks became annoying as did the not so subtle envelope for tips left on the dining table. The forced survey is also not appreciated.
