We spent two nights with Dora Cruises in Ha Long Bay on the Doris and had a fantastic experience. The ship was a really good standard, the food throughout the trip was good and lots of options provided for me as a veggie, and the service on board was consistently friendly and professional. A special mention to Tam and Carter as well as K who was our guide on the day boat. They were all brilliant. They spoke excellent English and were helpful, engaging and good fun to talk to, which really added to our experience on board. We were particularly glad that we chose the two-night cruise rather than just one night. Having the extra day meant we could properly enjoy Ha Long Bay and the activities without feeling that everything was over too quickly.

Breakfast was just okay and not up to the standard of the rest of the meals.

The ship, and staff were very nice. We had the honeymoon suite, and it was huge.

The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The food offered in the boat was good and they kindly accommodated any food restrictions that we had.

I would have expected more cruising time along the bay but it mostly consists of going to a point and stay there till the following day when you come back. Kayaking was very good but I would suggest a better plan or schedule for other activities as it could feel a bit boring… I could see while we were having brunch that the boat discharged waste onto the lake which wasn’t pleasant.

We were a family of four and had two rooms adjacent to each other. We enjoyed the kayaking and the views of the bay. The food was good and our waitress, Lisa was lovely. Sophie was also a great tour guide who was very welcoming and always kept us informed.

The breakfast on the second day before the caves was a bit too much of a rush.

A Small Suggestion for Improvement We had a wonderful experience overall and truly enjoyed our stay. The only suggestion we would like to make is to replace some of the serving plates and cups, as a few were chipped or slightly damaged. Providing new tableware would enhance the dining experience and help guests feel even more comfortable while enjoying their meals and drinks. Thank you for your continuous efforts, and we hope this small improvement will make an already excellent cruise even better.

Very clean and pleasant boat

The food was a bit of a miss.

The staff were so friendly and helpful - special shout out to James/Jim for looking after us for our three days! The rooms were clean and spacious and the pool was a bonus! Sunset party was a highlight each night and the cooking classes. Our kids loved jumping off the second floor of the day boat and swimming to the little beach.

Hemos disfrutado muchísimo de la experiencia en el crucero Dora. Todo estuvo muy bien organizado, el barco era cómodo, la comida estaba buena y el paisaje de la bahía es simplemente espectacular. Queremos hacer una mención especial a Lisa, que fue increíblemente amable y atenta con nosotros desde el primer momento. Siempre estuvo pendiente de que no nos faltara nada, resolvió todas nuestras dudas con una sonrisa y consiguió que nos sintiéramos muy bien atendidos durante todo el viaje. Mooie cruise boot met heel vriendelijk personeel die het hele verblijf voor je klaarstaan. Lisa heeft ons uitstekend verzorgd tijdens de maaltijden. Kamers keurig, eten prima. Vrije keuze of je meedoet aan de excursies of niet. Leuk zwembadje/jacuzzi op het bovenste dek.

Enige minpuntje wat ik kan bedenken is dat de wifi het niet doet.

Gdy przyszliśmy na lunch - jedzenie już było zjedzone i obsłuva nie donosiła nowego więc pokład opuściliśmy trochę głodni. Próbowaliśmy nadrobić owocami😉

El crucero por Halon es una experiencia espectacular y altamente recomendable. La atención del personal y su simpatía. Las vistas desde la habitación inolvidables. No tiene muchas habitaciones por lo que no está masificado.

La conexión a internet es mejorable. Las habitaciones asignadas en la planta baja eran ruidosas con el buque navegando.

We hadden een hele fijne service van Jerry. Hij deed echt onwijs zijn best om ons het helemaal naar onze zin te maken. Een topper! We hebben enorm genoten van de mooie uitzichten en de leuke excursies. Ook het vissen en de happy hour op het dek waren erg fijn.

The stay was very pleasant, and the staff played a big part in making it such a wonderful experience. Tina was especially kind, attentive, and always ready to listen. I am completely satisfied with my stay.

Muy buen crucero para pasar un día. El personal es muy atento, Jerry nos trató genial. Muy buena habitación, todo limpio y la comida me sorprendió para bien. El gimnasio también está bien.

Pues la comisión que cobran por pagar con tarjeta, no me parece normal, un 5%. A partir de las 8 de la tarde, la animación y lo que puedas hacer allí es nada.

Drinks were quite expensive

Barco muy limpio, la tripulación de lo más amable. Las instalaciones cumplen todas sus funciones y estaba todo muy limpio. La habitación familiar de 3 es bastante amplia con camas muy cómodas y el baño enorme. La comida es basatante buena, en nuestro viaje no éramos más de 20-25 personas, lo que ayudó mucho a toda la logística.

Aunque lo hacen todos los cruceros que hay, lo que menos me gusto es que una vez que te subes al barco se queda anclados y prácticamente no se mueven lo dicho, lo hacen todos, pero pensé que era más bien un mini crucero por la Bahía.

La comida por el precio mejorable,la piscina muy pequeña,la suciedad de la bahía es espectacular lo mal que está no entiendo que no se limpie y hay muchos cruceros tendrían que limitarlos un poco y ya que se lucran con esto entre todos los cruceros pagar a un servicio que limpie la bahía es muy penoso estar en un sitio idílico y ver tal cantidad de plástico suciedad y aceite de los motores de los barcos.

The boat and the views were spectacular! We enjoyed ourselves immensely; what's more, the original boat had an issue, so we were upgraded to a better boat and a VIP cabin. It was a perfect experience. We want to mention Lyn for her kindness and the care she showed us, as she was the one who handled the problem; she was also incredibly sweet and attentive with my children—she is wonderful.

Jerry was fantastic! After dinner he took us out and performed magic tricks for us. We thoroughly enjoyed him going above and beyond for us.

We had the best time on the Dora cruise. Staff so helpful especially Dian. Rooms spacious. Would recommend Dora cruises.

We kinda got upgraded to Tulip Cruise which was just mind blowingly amazing!!! The super premium looking cruises with great rooms food amenities. 1N/2D felt fast but 2 nights may feel too long as well. this was good enough for us. The kayaking and swimming was really fun. Though booking.com gave free cancellation only upto 1 week prior to the cruise. we had to modify and cancel one person's booking and Hien agreed to cancel the whole booking which let us to book a triple sharing room thereafter.

Stunning cruise but moved from Dora to Tulip Cruise on the day. Fabulous ship, great activities & lovely food. Staff are so welcoming and friendly.

Se nos presento Julia, su atencion y su cuidado, junto a su sonrisa fue una alegria constante. Destacar tambien Mr Truan, el fue nuestro guia en todas las actividades, que si ya eran bonitas, se encargo de hacerlas mas especiales, una maravilla. We were upgraded to Tulip by HAG as Dora was in port for a service. Tulip is the ultimate 5 star cruise as it is new (01/2026). We were again upgraded to a 60 SQ metre executive suite which well and truly exceed our expectations. Our Cruise Director, Kim, made this happen for us. We have been on many cruises and this ship and cruise director were excellent. The cruise and facilities are simply second to none

The place is amazing and the staff is extremely helpful especially Lisa, and the scenery is surreal.

The price for travelling to Hanoi and back was so expensive and almost the same price of cruise price

Aclaración: nos ubicaron en en Tulip Cruise. No en Dora. Nos hicieron un upgrade a una habitación VIP, excelente. Es más grande, nuevo y Tam, nuestra asistente ha sido encantadora. La comida buena, sobre todo la cena y el paseo en Kayac muy divertido. Aprovechamos su piscina y los precios de las bebidas razonables. Una experiencia bella. Nos sentimos cómodos, en un espacio lujoso y sin ruidos que perturbaban la bella bahía de Ha Long.

Aquí el problema: contratamos transporte desde Hanoi a Ha Long. Excelente, buena limusina, nos buscaron en el hotel a horario. Pasamos por un museo de bambú y seda que estuvo divertido…hasta aquí muy bien. También contratamos con el crucero el transporte de Ha Long a Ninh Binh. Un desastre, sucio, lleno de bultos, gente acostada sin dejar espacios, pies en mi asiento. En fin…no recomiendo contratar este trayecto que tampoco resultó económico. Adjunto fotos.

Très bonne croisière avec un personnel très sympathique et agréable. Julie était très accueillante et très gentille tout le long de la croisière. Les activités étaient bien et la nourriture aussi.

Le Check in est un peu trop tôt à 10h30 sachant qu’on a fini l’activité du vélo à 10h donc ça laisse pas trop de temps

Upstairs was not set up. Staff could be a little more proactive with drinks and service. Top deck lighting needed ambiance. Food could do with some work.

The Dora was great! The food was good but there were some buffet items that were okay. There were maintenance issues and we had to switch boats mid way through our stay and caused a lot confusion as to where our luggage was in the transfer to the new boat, the communication on this transfer could have been much better. Though Min helped us the whole way! She was amazing and we felt very welcomed by her.
