The hotel is relatively large

I was double charged with 2 credit cards , was convinced one would be refunded ... But still fighting for the double charge and hotel does not reapond.

Le petit déjeuner est très grand avec beaucoup de choix et de bon produit. Le restaurant est de bonne qualité. La maison est très grande, avec des lits confortables.

Nous avons pas aimé l'accueil pour notre dernier hôtel de notre voyage, la dame bloque le montant de la chambre sur ma carte de crédit ce que je trouve normal, mais m'indique qu'il s'agit d'une caution et me dit ensuite de payé, je demande simplement vu qu'il s'agit du dernier hôtel de payer lors de mon départ, ainsi donne argent liquide qui me reste et je paie le reste avec ma carte de crédit. Je fais cela pour ne pas revenir en Europe avec de l'argent. La dame ne veux rien savoir, et ne comprend pas bien anglais, et m'oblige a payer directement. Donc je paie + une caution de la même valeur de ma réservation. Et lors de notre séjour, même dans leur restaurant, impossible de mettre sur la chambre, nous devons payé directement. Je trouve cela dommage, car pas vécu cela ailleurs, il y a un manque de confiance avec le client. Les horaires de la piscine : 6H-18H, on revient d'excursion, impossible de profiter de la piscine, car le personnel reprend les coussins transat, les essuis et demande de quitter la piscine. Manque beaucoup de choses dans la maison : une cuisine mais rien dans les armoires (pas de couverts, de verre, ....) Une machine à laver mais très sale, et au dernier étage la climatisation était humide donc mur abîmé et nous avons eux deux blattes dans la salle de bain. Salle de bain : joint de la douche noire. L'hôtel est désert, parking vide, il y a très peu de monde. Nous avons marché pendant 1H aux alentours, que des constructions abandonné, une ville déserte, aucun restaurant.

Very spacious, useful amenities and comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of food from pho to fresh fruit, western and Asian dishes. The two outdoor pools were not crowded. It was easy to get a Grab to go to places. The front desk staff were very friendly and we appreciated theit help with restaurant recommendations and reservations.

The cleaning could have been a little better in the unit as we could see areas that had not been cleaned when we checked in. Stains on the fabric sofa made us hesitate to sit comfortably on it. The appearance of lizards in the bathroom perhaps could not be helped due to the weather and layout of the unit, but nevertheless led to one bathroom being hardly used by most family members. We had neighbors in a different unit who shouted and made very loud noises after midnight all the way until early hours of the morning, on two particular nights of our stay. Despite being in a completely different building, it is alarming how clearly you can hear them.

We enjoyed our stay! Staff were exceptionally helpful with helping with any if our needs.

Very nice accommodation, clean, spacious and comfortable.

Buffet breakfast was not great, the food was cold every morning. We had a massage at the accommodation and the facilities were great however the massage itself felt rushed and was not relaxing, also didn’t go for as long as we paid for.

It was very spacious, clean and great air con. Location was great near the beach and restaurants. Gym was great, my daughter used the spa and the two pools are amazing, one 25m pool and one 40m pool.

No plates and cutlery, it is available to rent.

Lúc trả phòng lễ tân có báo thiếu một đôi dép đi trong phòng, tôi đã mượn lại chìa khoá phòng về phòng kiểm tra, phát hiện đôi dép trong nhà vệ sinh tầng 2 nhưng do nhân viên buồng phòng không kiểm tra kỹ nên báo thiếu, làm mất thời gian tôi phải chờ đợi và di chuyển về phòng để kiểm tra, nếu không mọi thứ đều hoản hảo, dù sao tôi vẫn thấy hài lòng về kỳ nghỉ tại đây.

The hotel is amazing! I believe it is the best in Halong and they made your holiday wonderful. Villas are supernice and the facilities are great! You feel very chill and comfortable having holiday here.

The restaurant's service isn't very well. The staff miss orders and needs a lot of reminders to obtain orders/ services you needed. Also, the table was booked and agreed in the morning but they changed our allocation when we arrived for dinner. They said our table was reserved for someone else but no one was on that table the whole night.

We had a 4 bedroom villa. Lots of space

We paid per room in our villa to unlock bedroom. So my son's could have a room each I paid vnd2.400.000 for the 3rd room to be opened. No complimentary unlock. We had a washing machine with no washing powder or drying facilities.

The place was pristine. We stayed in low season so there was t many people there but they had all the staff there to accommodate. Properly was perfect.

Dans la cuisine il y a des plaques de cuisson mais rien pour cuisiner. Pas de couverts, d'assiettes ni de verre. Pas d'étendoir alors qu'il y a un lave linge

The buffet breakfast had an enormous range of dishes and the gym was huge and very well equipped. Beautiful grounds.

The villa was nice, new and modern. The pool area is nice and staff brought us towels and swimming tubes for us and the kids without being asked. The Kids Club attendant was very engaging and attentive to our kids. Food at breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We were very pleasantly surprised by the size and appearance of the villas compared to the price we paid. Gardens were beautifully maintained and the property was only a short walk to restaurants. The hotel was very accommodating with our request to store our excess luggage while we went on an overnight cruise after checking out of the hotel.

Air conditioning in the rooms is nice and cold, but the stairs and areas just outside the bedrooms stay quite hot. The Kids Club was constantly closed and you have to have staff call over another staff member to open it. The Kids Club smelled a bit musty, the air conditioning wasn’t on when we came in and the toilet floor downstairs was dusty. We could not open the doors to the balcony or private garden area. We were checking in at midnight, was assured the baby cot we asked for was already prepared - but it wasn’t. A few of our air conditioning controllers were flashing warnings that filters needed cleaning.

Loved it here, facilities and pool were very good. Very happy with our stay, staff was helpful and lovely. Buffet breakfast had lots of variety and range. Kitchen staff were lovely people can't fault at all. Can't wait to stay here again.

Virkelig flot resort, men det sødeste personale. Da de så vi var der med små Børn opgraderede de os med det samme til en større villa med mere plads i haven. Derudover var de virkelig hjælpsomme med at booke ture osv. de lånte os endda penge da vores kort ikke Virkede.

Stedet ligger ikke i gåafstand til noget seværdigt. Her skal man tage taxa, de kunne godt udleje cykler så man kunne cykle ind til den mere spændende del af Ha Long. Derudover bør restauranten investerer i en god pizzaovn - for pizzaen var virkelig under niveau.

The facilities, garden, furniture and bedding are luxurious.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, having stayed in April. The previous room was clean, but this time, room 117 is in poor condition. There was a lot of dust, and if you touch the curtains, dust falls off. There was a dried, long-dead cockroach in the drawer under the sink. I took a picture. The cleanliness of the buffet is also lacking. I went there yesterday and when I got to my table, the egg I dropped yesterday was still hardened. And the worst part is that when cleaning the tables at the buffet, they don't replace the placemats but just wipe them with a dishcloth. The problem is, they use that dishcloth to wipe the backs of the chairs and then wipe the dining area mats again. This luxury resort needs to overhaul its cleaning process and system.

Alles was modern en schoon. Twee enorme zwembaden, fitness, pickleball. Ontbijt was heel uitgebreid. Echt heel goed voor elkaar. Receptie was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Het was zo groot, dat het wat massaal en sfeer aanvoelde. Zeker bij het ontbijt, waar het galmde. Het lijkt af en toe meer op een luxe huisjespark dan een hotel. Op zich ligt het direct aan strand en dus goede locatie. Maar weet niet of halong bay zelf een top locatie is.

We only spent one night before our trip to Ha Long Bay! Really nice pool area (with foam party when we arrived). Really good restaurant and breakfast buffet.

The pool was really really hot! I have never experienced such a hot pool! The pool and air temperature were almost the same, so not much cooling when we jumped in the water. There was a cockroach in our bathroom, which had come in through the hole by the shower head. The staff were helpful in getting it removed 🙏

Alles, echt geweldig. In omgeving, is het strand het enige wat er te doen is. Verder heeft Halong niet veel te bieden

Great resort hotel with many things to do on site. Kids club was great and the kids loved the pool. We went to the spa twice during our stay and it was good too. Staff were friendly. Buffet breakfast was really good. We had most of meals at the hotel (decent, sure it was better outside) but we didn’t mind it. We have a 3 bedroom villa and the space was really great for our family.

Ha Long town seems really quiet. Abit too quiet and we found it eery at times. Nothing against the hotel. Just not a busy resort like ones we’ve stayed at before.

Good: 1. The entire area was beautiful, well maintained. 2. Facilities like the pool and gym were excellent. 3. Staff were very friendly. 4. Villa was fantastic, so spacious. Could improve: 1. Cleanliness of the villa. Not a huge issue but the sofa had some stains and there were used cigarettes on my bedroom balcony which my 3 year old daughter pointed out to me. 2. Music playlist at the pool repeated the same 3 or 4 songs on repeat. Please add some variety. 3. Biggest issue was the restaurant. We ate there twice not including breakfast. First lunch on the day of arrival. It was *fairly* busy but nothing extraordinary and we were told the food would take 40 minutes. Bigger problem was dinner the 2nd night - it took ages. There was only one other table when we arrived. Another table did come and got their food before us. It came about 1 hour after we ordered. To be fair, the staff were apologetic and the manager gave us some juice and cookies the next day to apologise. Maybe order ahead of going there as I think a lot of villas order room service, which seemed to cause the delay.

Only here for 2 nights but had a great time and experience . Staff very friendly and helpful.food in breakfast buffet had a very wide range of food to suit everybody .would highly recommend,lots of restaurants activities nearby .Overall had a great time

Had one of the best breakfast in The Market. Was served by Phuong. Very courteous and served us well. The rooms are very clean as well. We visited as a group of 9 friends and this place was perfect for us. Across the road yiu have the beach access.

We had such a great time at the Oakwood 4-bedroom villa! The house was clean, spacious, and super comfy. The pool was a big hit, and the whole place felt like a home away from home. Staff were kind and helpful, and everything went smoothly. Would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Oakwood. Everything from the staff and accommodation to the food was amazing. There was 6 of us (3 adults and 3 children) and we can't speak highly enough about Oakwood. The villa's are really well maintained and spacious. We were originally booked for 3 nights but had to change to 4 due to unforeseen circumstances and the staff at reception happily made this happen. The restaurants cater for everyone, kids included. We had a BBQ in our garden with a chef on our first night and it was the tastiest food we'd ever eaten. I'd personally like to say thank you to all the staff for a wonderful time and who always great you with a smile and cheerful disposition. The pool areas were well kept, clean and with great views of Ha Long Bay. The hotel is in a great location, 15 mins from the port and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and stores. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

The area was spacious and the greenery beautiful. The employees were friendly and helpful. If we needed anything, our needs were dealt with asap. A truly very good stay. They attended to all our needs in a great way. The food and breakfast buffet did not miss anything! Close to the beach.

There were very few guest, and we felt a bit alone. But this did not affect the service we got. Very close to the beach, however there were some clean-up on the beach, so we had to walk a bit to an area where we could swim.

Our villa was exceptional. We were able to open a fourth bedroom at an additional cost. Master suite was stunning. Had our own pool which we used at night. Resort was very quiet so service was quick. Enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant. An ideal one night stay before going on a boat cruise on Ha Long bay

The bikes you were allowed to use couldnt be taken out of the resort and they needed some TLC as tires low pressure and couldnt change seat height.

Location medium, next time I would stay closer to Halong city. Restaurant staff seemed very unorganized, no service at the pool area, very long waiting times, leaving eaten dishes on the tables for hours, …

Only stayed for 1 day and night but wish it was longer. Excellent hotel and the villas are excellent. Staff where excellent to

Over half of the dining and bars were closed. When asked if they would open the pool bar, they said no as it is low season. Had to walk to main restaurant if we wanted any service. Limited English skills from staff meant that basic requests took a lot longer to get what we wanted. This sometimes also made prices unclear.

The property was perfect in terms of available amenities, location, pricing, and view. My family and I truly enjoyed the villa. The hotel staff went above and beyond to arrange various shuttle requests, cruise and Spa bookings, and were most helpful when my husband was unwell. The Spa personnel provided superb customer service and massages. The breakfast was varied and delicious, as were the dinners we had at the hotel’s restaurant. The overall ambiance at the hotel was most pleasant. We will be certainly coming back here, in fact Oakwood Ha Long is the only place I’d consider coming back to in Northern Vietnam, we liked it that much.

There was no cutlery in the villa, but when getting room service the cutlery was provided, so it wasn’t that big a deal.
