The hotel experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. The room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke, despite our concerns about air quality — especially since one of my children has asthma. When we inquired about whether the room was smoke-free, the staff misunderstood and thought we were asking if we could smoke, to which they enthusiastically replied, “Absolutely, go ahead.” To make matters worse, the beds were infested with bed bugs. We were seriously worried about the health and safety of my wife and our three children. We had originally booked a 6-night stay, but after just one night, we felt forced to leave for the safety and well-being of our family. Unfortunately, the hotel refused to refund the unused nights despite the unacceptable conditions. This experience was both distressing and unacceptable.

The location was ideal, offering easy access to nearby hospitals and other locations. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the stay. Most importantly, the staff stood out — genuinely warm, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. That kind of service makes all the difference when you're on the road often. This was our second stay, and while we enjoyed it overall, I do hope to see some small improvements—particularly in the cleanliness of the bathroom corners and shower area, as well as better cable TV quality. The breakfast service could also be enhanced with fresher offerings, consistent replenishment, and more variety like made-to-order eggs.

while the overall experience was positive, there were a few areas that could be improved. The breakfast was a bit of a letdown. I was surprised to see there were no scrambled eggs available, which is quite standard in most places I've stayed. Instead, there were broiled eggs, and when I politely asked if scrambled eggs could be made, I was told there would be an extra charge. That felt a bit unnecessary, especially for something so basic. Additionally, on the first morning, I arrived well before breakfast hours ended, yet many items had not been replenished. It gave the impression that the service was winding down early, which isn’t ideal for guests trying to enjoy a relaxed start to the day. A little more attention to detail in the breakfast service would really elevate the overall guest experience.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Marina Park Hotel. Upon checking in, I immediately noticed the poor conditions—unclean rooms, a strong smell of cigarette smoke, and an overall unsafe environment. Despite requesting a room change, the staff refused to accommodate us, leaving us with no choice but to leave the hotel within two hours of arrival. As someone with allergies to dust and unclean environments, the conditions posed a serious health risk to me. After checking online reviews, I found numerous complaints from other guests reporting similar experiences, including health issues due to the hotel’s poor hygiene. To make matters worse, when I requested a refund, the hotel refused, citing their strict non-refundable policy with no exceptions. I booked through Orbitz, expecting a certain level of quality and support, but was left disappointed as they were unable to help due to the hotel’s rigid policies. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice before booking. The conditions were unacceptable, and the lack of customer service made the experience even worse.

Genel olarak temiz ve düzenliydi fakat, ne televizyon çalışıyordu ne ışıklar. Banyodaki ışık bile yanmıyordu. Hava soğuktu klima çalışmıyordu.

I would reather not to go in this hotel, or when you go please do not pay on cash when you have payed by booking, and i prefere not to pay never with cash They take also in cash when you live the hotel

Wifi was keep shutting down and lift was not working

Very far from the Istanbul centre. Not always available parking as advertised. Bar fridge not working and smelling very bad. Rooms smells like cigarettes. Breakfast not pleasant variety…what was available was not good.

Dieses Hotel dient den Bus oder LKW Fahrern als Vergnügungsort mit Prostituierten. Dementsprechend kann man nachts wegen der ekligen Geräusche nicht schlafen. Also nichts für Familien mit Kindern….

Fiyat performans oteli. İyi niyetli insanlar tarafından sahiplenmiş iyi niyetli insanların çalıştığı bir otel. Bulunduğu çevrede fiyatı uygun olduğu için tercih edilebilir.

Staff is extremely cooperative, location is good as far as my work place tuyap exhibition is concerning, valued to money.

İlk oda da klima çalışmıyordu. Kontrol etmemeleri bir eksiklik. Boş oda olmasaydı ne yaparlardı merak ediyorum? Sonrasında boş ve daha güzel bir oda ayarladılar bu yönü iyi. Odalar temiz ve gayet geniş, fiyatına göre olumlu diyebilirim.

Very nice staff. Willing to help as much as they can. Near to Tuyap exhibition bus stop a few steps. Rather easy to reach from Istanbul airport.

Very poor facilities, elevator broken, absolutely NO internet, low water pressure, not professionally served and not a standard and fresh breakfast, generally not a well maintained building and equipment.

Room was big and comfortable. Check in and check out was professional. The only negative is there was too much noise from the road.

The location of the hotel is very good! I stayed there because of it's proximity and easy access to the Tuyap Fair. There is a taxi station nearby as well as several bus stops. The staff is very friendly and willing to help if you need some information or directions. My room was big, clean and with very comfy and large bed. The Wi-Fi is good.

The hotel is old and you can see that everywhere. Although the staff does its best to keep it clean, comfy and running it needs some renovation. There was no coffee on the breakfast buffet.

The quality for this price is good. I stayed for 1 night as I had to meet my wife next day in Airport and it was convenient to stay nearby. Room is big enough and you have everything you need. Breakfast is also fine.

- Smell of smoking inside the room and ashtray - it obvious that people regularly smoke in rooms and smell of smoking is everywhere. - Wi-fi didn’t work in the room at all, my phone even didn’t see the network. Only in lobby. - everything inside the room is old and requires to be repaired, but it works.

The lobby looks nice.

The rooms were not maintained and cleaned. There was a strong smell of cigarettes in our room. So we can’t stand it and leave after couple of hours.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke and not particularly clean. Toilet seat wouldn't stay up. There's a tint to the bedroom windows which makes the room very dark. Never anyone around at the bar if you want a drink. The listing claims a full English and continental breakfast which, as expected, simply wasn't true!

I really like this place, its pretty far from Istanbul but we were there for 1st may so no traffic, we needed 40 minutes to downtown. Good breakfast, food staff, parking spot.

Basic 3 star hotel. Located far from the city center, but good choice for a great value for money seekers of a hotel around Tuyap and Tuyap Center. Shining clean, very friendly and helpful staff, basic but worthy breakfast (included in price). Great value.
