The 2 ladies in the morning were cheerful and brought a great vibe to the place. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. I would stay here again and recommend it!

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026We had a car disaster and had to be towed into the Sault and then hang around to find out what was wrong and sort out a plan B The staff were brilliant, from helping to carry bags to rooms, volunteering late check out and other friendly helpful things. This small indpenedent motel is now being run by the family's second generation. Some staff have been there nearly twenty years. The owners are reinvesting in the property and updating it. I have being staying here when I pass through the Sault for some time. I would describe this as a basic and economic motel done very well. When I was planning this trip there was never any doubt we would stay here. Their response to our misadventure was over the top. Certainly a repeat for me.

The road in and out of the property was very bumpy with holes and large speed bumps. The signage to the motel was not the best . The entrance is beside a telephone pole and tricky for the turn.

Good location with a number of restaurants nearby. Affordable, clean and you can park in front of your room. Will not hesitate to stay here again when we visit.

Room had a bit of a musty smell and seemed to get warm fast without the a/c on. Fridge in room was welcome. Water temperature in shower was inconsistent (ran warm, hot then cold). A/c was really loud but appreciated as it was warm outside. Good location, easy to get around to restaurants, gas stations etc.

Staff was extremely friendly & though it doesn't look like a lot from the outside, you can tell they have made a lot of improvements / updates inside the rooms. It was kept extremely clean throughout our stay. Shout out to Violet & her Apple Fritter recommendation at the Voyaguers' General Store & Dry house....best we've ever had!!!

They look after the details: perfectly clean rooms, working lights and TV, very friendly staff, and parking onsite that accommodated a 26' truck. I wish some improvements would be made to the approach which is very uneven and shakes vehicles in every direction imaginable.

Once in our room, it was a bit dated but as we looked around we remarked on how clean the room was! It had all you needed, soaps, shampoo & conditioner, clean SOFT towels, hairdryer and coffee maker! Everything a fancy chain hotel would have Bed was comfort and my husband loved the pillows! The staff was super friendly and lovely to talk with. We would definitely return on our next visit the area!

The rooms are basic but clean and have all the amenities we needed. This motel is good value for money. Tims and McD's just down the street for a quick breakfast in the morning. Coffee in you room. If we ever travel that way again, this is where I would stay.

Room was exceptionally clean, updated with modern fixtures, appliances, flooring and furniture. Even the heating radiators and air conditioner looked brand new. Beds were comfortable and well appointed. Loved our stay and would definitely stay here again and longer!
