Conch Villa- 3 Min walk to the beaches

Das Zimmer war wirklich sehr schön und geräumig. Der Balkon war gut ausgerichtet mit schöner Sitzmöglichkeit. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage war gut vom Zentrum und zum Strand entfernt und trotzdem ruhig gelegen.

Die Klimaanlage hat ziemlich lange zum kühlen gebraucht, jedoch war das Zimmer auch ziemlich groß.

Lage, Ausstattung, Zimmergröße, Sauberkeit, kostenlose Waschmaschine.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Personal war nicht die beste. Auch die erste und einzige Unterkunft in Sri Lanka die sofort bei Ankunft nach einer Bezahlung verlangte. Wirkte leider alles etwas Geldgetrieben. Im Badezimmer waren viele Ameisen und manchmal auch andere kleinere Insekten wie Würmer, aber dies war kein Drama.

at the beginning the wifi was working okayish, but after some days the provider had problems and it didn’t work at all anymore because of poya holiday

We were self catering for one week but our host and his family were very kind to us.they cooked for us at times as well as arranging tuk tuks for us. The whole stay was amazing.My wife and myself have travelled to many countries,but the welcome we had here was the best we have ever encountered. water as we moved onto our next place. Absolutely perfect.

one night the nieghbour acrothe Road had a family birthday. The music was so loud our apartment was banging with the volume of the music... I'm aware this was a one off, but even so it was awful at the time.

Schönes großes Zimmer und Bad, sehr sauber. Mit schönem kleinen Balkon (der wurde aber leider von Affen eingenommen). Ruhige Lage da in einer Nebenstraße gelegen und sehr nah zum Strand. Eine Küche mit Kühlschrank und Waschmaschine steht kostenlos zur Verfügung. Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und nicht aufdringlich. Auch ein Scooter zum mieten steht bereit.

The most important and biggest help we had while we were spending our time at conch villa was that we were able to wash our cloths for free of charge. We had a washing machine for that. If we had to hire an outside laundry facility if would have cost a lot of money. We were able to get all these facilities from within the villa. In addition, there are lots of restaurants around the villa. It was a great convenience for us as it was very close to the beach and the city. As for the surroundings of the villa it is located in a very nice & peaceful area. The inside of the villa, the rooms we stayed in was very large & we had good a/c and a clean bathrooms.

Nothing really worked in this apartment. The tv was not plugged in , the WiFi was really bad, the AC was not working (we had to reset the system everytime ). Also they asked us not to give a negative review but cancel the booking and we would get 10% off. The communication was also difficult with the staff. For all of these issues way to overpriced.

Todo fue genial. El chico en todo momento nos ayudo en lo que necesitabamos. La habitation es tal y como sale las fotos. Esta ubicado muy cerca de la playa y de la calle principal, pero lo bueno es que es una calle paralela sin ruidos. Lo recomendaria y volveria!!

This is my second time staying at Conch Villa. It is one of the best places to stay in tangalle. They had undergone a lot of changes this year. Many new facilities have been added under a new owner. The kitchen is really useful. It's a fully equipped kitchen. The owner ans staff are very friendly. I will definitely come back

About nearby drivers The prices of the drivers around are very high.I recommend getting help from the staff when finding drivers.

Very good standard for this price! I had really good time there. a big room with a good air condition and a clean balcony. the beach,restaurants,pharmacy and supermarket just 3 minutes away. The washing machine was given away for free, which saved me a significant amount of money. Best choice for staying in Tangalle.

Warning for the guests Don't be fooled by the Tour Organize Board on the front wall of the conch villa because he is an irresponsible person. In my visit, he asked for more money than he initially promised

villa was very spacious and we really enjoyed the air conditioning in the rooms.We got a bigger room than we expected and a clean balcony.A good area to chill out and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped us arrange a turtle watching experience where we had a Tuktuk driver to take us to watch a turtle laying eggs.

l had a wonderful experience at Conch Villa. The location is unbeatable, just a few steps from the beach, which made my stay even more special. The room was perfectly lit, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and always ready to help, which made me feel right at home.i highly recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful room with a private outdoor area, private bathroom and a shared kitchen. There is a washing maschine, where you can do laundry for free. Beach and City Center are close and easily to reach on foot.

The person who worked there kept my passport until after I paid. I haven’t experienced this in other establishments so I don’t know if it’s normal but I consider it a bit odd.

We arrived and Collected the keys to our room, shortly after left to the beach and our room wouldn’t lock so we called the owner of the property and he aggressively blamed the problem on us. We had laptops cameras and other valuables so very inconvenient having to take it with us everywhere. All very comical and unprofessional way to conduct business, we still don’t understand why you would try and blame the problem on your customers and offer no solutions.. makes no sense 😂 bless him.

Cute, clean place with a lot of space. Quite surrounding but close to the beach and supermarket. Bus station is close by. Staff is really friendly and carrying. Can recommend 😊

Good location, big room.

Dirty sheets with stains. The main shower was broken, the other one had water coming out everywhere. Also the owner didn't give us enough change when we paid.

Lovely property with a big room! Clean room as well. Perfect room for a quick visit to Tangalle. Bathroom smelt a little bit but I’m sure that is the plumbing not the room itself.

Unfortunately this seems to be a hot spot for mosquitoes. We had to kill about 30 in our room when we first got there. Obviously this is expected in hot countries but there are an unusually large amount of them here so be warned.

Room Size Comfortable Bed

Welcome to Jungle Sri Lanka. You probably came here for the beautyfull Nature and animals. So youre in the right place. If you like many many Mosquito in your bed (alsways under the holey net) and Salamander on the Wall and frogs in the bathroom (coming from the drain) - then you are in the right place. But you also have to like Cockroaches, as you will have the pleasure to have different sizes of them. The small ones will be on the ground near the toilet and the big ones climb on the Wall and use your toothbrush. Did you know that some Cockroaches have Wings? No? You will learn a lot Here. They also try to fly which looks funny. Also enjoy the cold shower. In case you dont like the inhouse Safari in an old room you may not book here as - of course - there is no refund for Cockroaches allergy sufferers 😃 so we checked out earlier for the first time in our life. But we payed the full price which was a bit sad. You also have to pay directly when you arrive. Now, we know why... Have fun in Tangalle whereever you will stay 🙂

A good and quiet location between the beach and the town centre.

Shower wasn't the best and WiFi intermittent, TV would work when got a plug due to poor signal. A bit much staff chat about booking in, and out.

Clean, comfortable room, kitchen and cheap. It had a free washing machine. Guy very helpful. I booked it because it had high ratings and needed a kitchen to cook.

The kitchen needs some more utensils. Missing a sieve / colander. Needs two new pans one small and one large.

The sockets were not always charging. Gaps in doors so some animal will get inside the room like lizards and many mosquitoes. They ask you to pay at the checkin or they want to keep your passport.

The room is large with a mosquito net and modern furniture.it s clean villa with 4 bedrooms and balconies. it is possible to have your laundry totally free and the nice private kitchen. near the sea, restaurant and bus station. it is very nice to stay there. quiet location. Don’t hesitate to book!

It's nice that the facility has a baby cot, but the cot was not secured with a mosquito net so we couldn't use it because there were a lot of mosquitoes

We had a great stay,the place was convenient because it is near to stores also the staff is very accomodating with our needs trying to make sure we feel comfortable,Rohan is a very nice guy he attended all of our needs even if after his shift ended he is still come to fix our AC. Wil highly recommend .

The owner is very friendly, helpful and king. Me and my boyfriend stayed for two nights where is such a clean rooms and kitchen in quiet area near the beach and bus station. In this property you will feel like at home 😊 thank you!

The room was very spacious. the location was great, and it has a nice outside area! There was kitchen and washing machine that you were able to use! It was also very quiet at night. and the host was only a message away if you needed anything! The WiFi router was in the room so worked very well.

there were a lot of monkeys out the balcony (It was raining all day, so I think they were hiding) but they did make a lot of poop! The bathroom could have been cleaner, quite a lot of hair in the drain.

The owner is really nice and helpful! Would definetely recommend to stay here. They also let us use the shower after the beach when we've already checked out. The room is spacious. The location is great just a few minutes to the beach strip. Everything perfect!

Conch villa is a special place, with only 2 rooms (it is actually a "just" a Villa - We got the upstairs room). The room we had was big and bright, good climate inside, and the staff (both day time and night time) was nice and helpful. There is minor room for improvements though - The bed frame made creaking noises on our every move, and there was no desk space to sit by with a laptop for example, even though the room would easily allow for a desk or a reading corner. Apart from that, the only "lack" was proper shielding of the windows at night/early morning - A lot of light came through, which was slightly annoying. Like many other places in Sri Lanka, Internet and water pressure was also limited. Lastly, the area in which the Villa is, doesn't have a lot to offer - 3-4 restaurants nearby, but without a doubt not in the main tourist area. For the price and in Tangalle, this is a nice place to stay for sure!
