Staff amazing Breakfast superb

The hotel has a great location, and we really appreciated the possibility of using the sunbeds at the beach, as well as the parking.
Unfortunately, our experience did not meet the standards we would expect from a five-star hotel. The room was not properly cleaned when we arrived. We also asked if it would be possible to move to a better room, as ours was located on the second floor. We were told that we could change rooms the following day, but in the end, this did not happen, and no one informed us or provided any explanation. Breakfast was served on the top floor, where it was extremely hot and there was an unpleasant smell from the cooking area, which made the experience uncomfortable.
We were very kindly upgraded for our anniversary to a junior suite with sea view 🥰 Staff were all really friendly. Private access beach just across the road was clean & plenty of space between the beds & good quality beach/pool towels provided. Breakfast choice was superb & also had an omelette chef. Short walk along the promenade to restaurants/bars/old town.
Nothing
Tolle Lage, Frühstück sehr gut, Blick vom Dach beim Frühstück auf Cefalu, einzigartig.
Es war alles bestens!
The staff was fantastic. So accommodating and helpful. The hotel was beautiful
NOTHING. EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL
Great location, very clean, hospitable services, and close parking!
I do not have one negative thing to say about this property!
All good except when I asked the desk to check for a lost card wallet after we checked out. It was an important item but the desk person was unwilling as the next guests were now in. It may still be under the bed.

Local próximo so centro e accommodation wonderful
Gostamos de tudo. Nota 10
We had a wonderful stay at the Cefalù Sea Palace. The location is excellent—right along the waterfront and an easy walk into the beautiful historic center of Cefalù. One of our favorite features was the private beach. Having reserved beach chairs and umbrellas, along with complimentary beach towels, made spending the day by the sea so relaxing. The beach also has a great restaurant and bar, bathrooms, and everything you need for a comfortable day by the water. Our room was large, very clean, and comfortable, with a lovely balcony. The pool was beautiful and provided another wonderful place to relax. The staff was especially nice, friendly, and helpful. They even remembered our favorite drinks, which made us feel very welcome and well taken care of. Breakfast had a lot of choices and was served on a beautiful rooftop terrace, making it a lovely way to start the day. Overall, the Sea Palace was the perfect combination of a beautiful beach location, comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and easy access to Cefalù. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!
Nothing really it was great
Todo excelente
Parking limitado y algo complicado
Ben posizionata, tutto pulito, personale super cordiale, ben organizzati in tutti i servizi, soggiorno da ripetere!
Due to all the issues I mentioned, we did not like the hotel at all
Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. We are a family of four (a couple with two children) and booked two rooms. Upon arrival, there was no proper signage indicating where the hotel parking was, so we mistakenly parked in a paid public lot. Even though both rooms were booked under a single reservation, the hotel placed us on two completely different floors, which was extremely inconvenient with children. The air conditioning in the room was controlled by the front desk and barely cooled the room at all. Despite contacting reception several times, the issue was never resolved. The major issue, however, was the late-night outdoor parties hosted on the hotel grounds. The loud music went on until the early morning hours, creating unbearable noise. The kids were completely unable to sleep and we were forced to move them up to our room on the higher floor. At the pool area, outside food is strictly prohibited, and when we asked to replace dirty pool towels with fresh ones, they charged us €5 per towel. Given the very high price we paid, we were deeply disappointed. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.
Struttura accogliente e gestita bene
Prezzi troppo alto
Room was extremely clean, air con was really good, amazing pool with lots of available loungers, private beach access was incredible, fantastic breakfast, good on-site parking, perfect location.
Nothing.
Posizione ottima, staff e accoglienza buona. Ottima colazione. Stanze grandi

Wonderful stay at the Cefalu Sea Palace. Comfortable spacious room overlooking the sea. Staff we were all very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast buffet, and especially enjoyed swimming at the sea and the pool. Beauthifly rooftop restaurant and also enjoyed the restaurant on the beach.
Rooms were not beauthifully appointed. They need to be more clear about the expecations for the swimming towels and also that you need to bring them iwth you when you check out to the check out desk.
Posizione , staff e colazione fantastica
This was an excellent stay, with real positives, however there were a few real issues which badly let it down, and it’s so frustrating as I’d love to return here. The positives. Cefalu is exceptional and the location of the hotel is perfect; right on the beach and a 10 minute walk to the old town. The free use of the beach sunbeds is a huge benefit. The breakfast is very good. The best we had in Sicily. Most of the staff are great people. Our room was a little old fashioned, big clean, well stocked up with toiletries every day and had a nice sea and pool view. Free beach towels. Two real issues which I’m so disappointed with. Firstly, on our first Saturday, the hotel started a nightclub in the hotel grounds. Very loud dance music, with the associated young attendees shouting and singing, right up to the end of the night at 3am. Suffice to say we had little sleep as we overlooked this area. The noise continued on the Sunday night to 1am. The majority of the demographic of the hotel is over 40 and this venture is not appropriate for the hotel guests. In addition, to make the hotel more appealing to the partygoers, the patio lights are left on, so there is noise and light seriously affecting your sleep. Secondly, and probably more serious and the only time I have ever seen this in any hotel. I witnessed the breakfast waiter who has no hair assault, by pushing a guest, to get him to move out of his way. The guest was standing waiting on eggs and instead of asking the guest to move, he pushed the guest. The guest was very annoyed and confronted the waiter, resulting in a face to face disturbance in the centre of the breakfast area. Subsequently two managers came to apologies to the guest. I was expecting the waiter, who always looks angry, with his shirt collar up, to be removed from service, however next day he was back, as grumpy and angry looking as ever. Suffice to say we loved our stay in Cefalu and we are so disappointed with the two negatives which resulted in a 5star rating being drastically reduced. If you want a peaceful sleep, I would seriously reconsider your options. Based on the noise and the waiter, I’m not sure I’d return.
it was conveniently located across the street from the beach and a 10 min walk to the center city.
the rooms felt a bit outdated.
Location is across from the hotels really nice private beach that is well fitted, clean and really convenient. It’s also a very short pleasant 10min walk along the promenade to the old town with plenty of restaurants and food options along the way. The gourmet deco supermarket is around the corner only 170m away and it’s excellent and has all your food and personal item one needs. The free parking around corner about 20m away is convenient and the staff was willing to valet park the car. The WiFi, room size, aircon, house keeping were all very good. The interior design and green ceiling and wall might not suit one’s design aesthetic preferences but I did not feel like the hotel needed maintenance or a revamp in the lobbies, passages or rooms. I found these areas well maintained and clean. The pool, umbrellas, lounges and pool area is very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was okay. Could do better with the types of breads on offer. Would also be nice if there was a separate egg frying area that was not mixed with the meats. A section where only eggs are fried and a complete separate section for omelettes and bacon. Breakfast location is up on the top floor. Great view but it’s incredibly hot in summer and really spoils the breakfast experience. I also found that this caused the cold cereal milk, the juices and water to be warm. The hotel has a policy that you cannot bring food or drinks from the outside into the hotel but I brought in a bag of snacks and water bottles when I checked in prior to seeing the policy on the in room terms and the staff didn’t seem to mind or maybe just didn’t notice. I understand if the hotel does not want people to bring in take out or restaurant food or alcohol but snacks and water should be allowed. Especially if it’s families with young children. The hotel then should also offer 24/7 room service and drinks. I can’t comment on the hotel restaurant. I didn’t use it. The spa was not working and the spa seemed to closed. The spa pools and jets had green algae on some of the surfaces. There’s no tissues in the 5 star bathroom. The pool towel policy is annoying. You receive a pool towel per person with your room that must be kept. Perhaps one can swap it for a clean one but after a few days it gets really bad. I didn’t stay long enough to need to a new one. The hotel is quite expensive. Overall however, I’d still recommend it for its location, parking if required and all the other things it does well.
This is a five-star hotel in name only - and, more tellingly, one that when things go wrong reflexively blames the guest rather than fixing the problem. We booked two nights directly (mid July, ~€300 / night for the room plus ~€300 for round-trip airport transfers) expecting the property advertised online. What we found was a large package-tour operation, predominantly UK guests, where the gap between the marketing and the reality was wide and the handling of complaints was as bad as the complaints themselves. The sea view set the tone. We booked and paid for a "Superior Room Balcony Sea View" — our confirmation described it in exactly those words, with "large balconies with sea views" and no mention anywhere of "partial" or "lateral." The hotel appeared to be full when we arrived, and what we were actually given was what seemed to be the last, worst room in the house: above the pool, with no meaningful sea view (see pic). Only after we complained and having been told this a "sea view" did the qualifier "lateral sea view" suddenly appear — a term nowhere in the booking we'd paid for. Tellingly, that same room category is openly listed as "partial sea view" on some tour-operator sites, so the hotel plainly knows the difference; it simply sold us the upgrade and delivered the lesser room. When we complained at the front desk another guest overhead our complaint and said they had the same issue. We pressed repeatedly, were told the manager was unavailable, and were eventually moved to a club room, by someone who appeared and was acting in a managerial capacity, that genuinely had a sea view — then told to pack up and move back after a single night. When we asked for a second room key we were told to come back tomorrow, because "guests lose too many keys." The air conditioning was the low point. In 32°C heat the AC in the larger room was weak, sitting at 25°C and higher. A brief power cut that evening took out the lift — minor in itself. The real problem was that the AC in our room genuinely didn't work to the point of being able to sleep comfortably, yet the hotel would not own it. My uncle and aunt's room and our friends' rooms all cooled perfectly well once the power was back, so the fault was specific to our room. We couldn't sleep, and asked twice for a technician. Instead of a fix, we got a shifting series of explanations over the next 24 hours, each contradicting the last: - "We'd left the door open, so the AC couldn't work." - "It was the power cut's fault" — though every other room in our party cooled fine afterwards. - "We'd set the temperature too low on the thermostat." - rumor has it that the AC is centrally controlled. - "24–25°C is simply 'normal' for our rooms and to be expected." Once we were finally moved, staff conceded the new room was cooler and more pleasant — which rather undercut all of the above. The complaint handling was worse than any single fault. Staff repeatedly talked over me and I had to ask several times just to finish a sentence. When I asked about a discount, I was told they'd raise it with the manager. What followed was contradictory: one staff member said they hadn't, another said they had and that none would be given because we'd had a night in the club room (without functioning AC) — and in the end, nothing came of it. Then the steady nickel-and-diming. No water available in the lobby, next to a sign banning outside food and drink. More concerning, no water in the gym either — it was warm in there, and for a hotel billing itself as 5-star to offer no drinking water in the gym while also banning you from bringing your own is close to unacceptable. TV signal unreliable during the World Cup. Bar prices steep — an Aperol Spritz at €14 versus €5–9 in town. To be fair, the good things in the hotel are real: the location is excellent, directly across the road from the beach and the promenade; the rooftop terrace is lovely, with views over the town; and the breakfast buffet is solid. For context: I've spent years in hotels and hold lifetime status with Marriott. I rarely complain — I know hospitality is a hard business. But this felt like a hotel with a captive, largely non-repeating package-tour audience it can afford to leverage: minimise cost, and when a guest complains, deflect, blame the guest, and eventually disengage. And this isn't just our bad luck: the other recent reviews here flag the same things again and again — "not a 5-star hotel," partial or "lateral" sea views, steep bar prices, and the ban on bringing your own food and drink. When this many independent guests report the same specific problems, it stops looking like misfortune and starts looking like how the place is run. I wanted to like it, but I can't recommend it. One last note: I see from other reviews that management tends to reply by rebutting the guest point by point. I'd gently suggest the more revealing response for management would be to reflect on why so many guests report the same problems.
Great hotel - large clean room with an enormous terrace! Staff were very helpful and the private sun loungers on the beach are a real asset
Bucket list destination (Sicily) for me at 60. Found this hotel, booked it and worried as we went away with another couple that they may not like the location or hotel. Landed late with a 2 hour transfer getting to the hotel just before midnight. Dumped the cases and grabbed a meal and beer, first impressions were a great vibe but tired so went to bed. Over the next 2 weeks we fell in love. Great location and wonderful hotel. Must say that I’ve never met a more wonderful front of house than Daniele he was the best, truly professional, hard working with the biggest smile and turned a good hotel into a place to come back to. Clean, friendly and my only negative feedback would be we ate out as the cost of food and drink was too expensive for us compared to locations near by. Already looking to go back, thank you all but especially Daniele

Stayed at this hotel last week. Our room , which was on the first floor, was excellent overlooking the pool, lovely and spacious. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed on a bed and breakfast which was plentiful, apart from the limited hot choice (omelette or scrambled eggs) which however were cooked to order. I only gave this a four star review as you are not allowed to take food or drink into the hotel - not even water☹️. There is a mini fridge in the room which contains soft drinks and water however this is expensive - 3 Euros for a small bottle of water.Drinks at the hotel bar were also on the expensive side. One other thing to be aware of is that the hotel also hosts functions at weekends and these are generally loud.
Wonderful few days - the hotel is set up so perfectly, pool and beach so nicely set up, super easy walk into town. Room was clean and our view of the sea was stunning. Breakfast is extensive, fresh delicious options - great espresso bar and egg station. The biggest plus for us was the staff - they were so helpful and had wonderful local reccommends. One even gave us incredible tips for our next stop on the trip, in Palermo. Would recommend and would return!

We stayed at Cefalu for 11 nights in June, half board basis. The room was lovely & comfortable, sea view & lovely view of Cefalu old town. Third floor, room 324. We enjoyed breakfast and evening meal, especially the view from the restaurant. Breakfast catered for most, with coffee made for you by a Barista which was very nice. Would have been nice to have fresh orange as there only seemed to be juices that were not fresh. Cereals & fruit, along with various other products were available. Evening meal was 4 course and we really enjoyed the food. The pool area was very nice, you can also use the private beach if you prefer sunbathing on a beach. Only criticism for us was that the drinks are very expensive and this deterred us from buying drinks at the hotel. I think if the prices were reduced more people would stay for a drink rather than going into Cefalu. We were under the impression you could not take your own drinks into the hotel which we thought was a bit petty as we do enjoy a drink on the balcony. Totally understand not taking food, however it should be made more clear as we found out after that you can take drinks to your room from outside. Overall though we really enjoyed the holiday and would go back
Perfeito. Amei tudo. Sobretudo as espreguiçadeiras e guarda sol na praia incluídas na diária.
Nice friendly hotel..rooms clean and roomy..but....No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, these and even bottled water was at a price..but only 2 euros..The plastic fixed sunloungers were so uncomfortable..needed a pad on them..and towel just wouldnt stay on..needed clips..which we saw one couple have..Cefalu is a nice town..lots of lovely places to eat..Beach really clean..but can be bit choppy and large bolders in some places..so beware when going in at first!!! Would I come here again..Probably not..
We enjoyed our holiday at Cefalou sea palace. The location to many shops, bars and restaurants was perfect only a short stroll along the sea front. The room was positioned to the side of the hotel overlooking the car park, but also had a sea view. We found the drinks and food very expensive, which in my opinion made the hotel lack atmosphere especially around the pool area. There was only a very small amount of people. We used the beach bar every day simply for a bit of excitement. It had music, cheaper drinks and food. There is a policy about not taking food or drinks back to the hotel but I feel this is aimed at people taking liberties eg boxes of pizza and crates of beer. I took a travel kettle coffee and tea, I bought milk from the supermarket and used the mini bar to store it. Nothing was ever said. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys a slow relaxed holiday.
V A19/6/26 – 26/6/26 Mr J McVey Ref: 8195370 Easyjet Holidays To whom it may concern, We paid over £3300 to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in Sicily. I would ask you to look at the recent reviews on Tripadvisor and note the number of complaints about Hotel Cefalu Palace, this is certainly not up to a 4-star level. I am looking for some form of compensation as this fell way short of the experience, I expected to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary we were very disheartened and disappointed. Below is a list of our complaints. After over a 2 hour transfer we were not offered a complimentary drink of water, we were advised either use mini bar in room or purchase at bar for 5 Euros. No kettle in room after 2 days a guest told us to ask at reception and were given one rather grudgingly. The no food/drink in room rule is strange guests like to have a glass of wine of an evening watching the sunset from balcony. Breakfasts were very poor. The same food every morning mostly eggs which were always hard boiled and cold, you also have to queue for coffee and if you’re at the end of the line you wait way over 10 minutes. Fresh fruit was mainly melon, pineapple and hard plums no bananas or oranges. Fruit juices were not natural and tasted awful. No condiment on breakfast table when I asked for salt, I was directed to the other side of the restaurant to collect a wee tiny bag of salt. Main meal choices were very poor very small portions fish being the main food which is fine if you like fish, some of the other choices were omelette, a very small thin chicken fillet with gravy and two florets of broccoli, pea risotto which was not attractive or very appetising as was most of the food. Italy is famous for ice cream yet there was not aa one in sight. Bar snacks and drinks are very overpriced which was driving guests out of the hotel into local bars. There was absolutely no entertainment at any time during our stay which was quite upsetting as my wife was looking forward to being entertained and celebrate our special 50th anniversary in style. We were on the 3rd floor and below the restaurant, the food was transported in large trollies which sounded like small trains driving over the top of us this went on until after midnight. The cost of this holiday is very overpriced and does not meet the standard of a 4 star hotel I would rate it as 2 stars. We have saved very hard for this holiday and it was very disappointing. We have holidayed in Italy for years and this was our worst experience I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. However, the staff throughout the hotel were very attentive and friendly. Close to beach and short walk to town.
It was self rated as 5 star. Hotel, this is very misleading and a disgrace considering it would only be a 3 star at most. The only good thing about this place was the position and the staff were nice. I think the positive reviews would be from people that don’t know any better and have not had the chance to experience a proper 5 star hotel. It’s a shame as the place has potential after a full renovation
we really like the location and the beach ! the breakfast was very rich.
the hair dryer wasn't good ( there isn't hot air ??? there is not a good Shampoo...
Lovely hotel, clean and in a great position but this is not a 5 star hotel. We were delayed and did not arrive till 00.30hrs and found that there was nothing to eat or drink available apart from a very over priced mini bar in the room. Not even water in the reception was available. Rooms are a good size and nice balcony but very uncomfortable seating outside and with nowhere to dry clothes/towels after a day on the beach/pool. Small extras could make the stay much more comfortable e.g nowhere to put your toothbrush, not enough coat hangers, no plug sockets at the side of your bed to be able to charge your phone. We stayed B&B and the food was truly terrible. There was an egg station which was the only part that provided hot food. Sausages, poached eggs, eggs Florentine, bacon, aubergines, pancakes, porridge all served cold - no attempt to even try and keep the food warm. Bread was stale. Nice coffee The hotel is in a prime location with a lovely walk down the promenade to the old town Beach opposite the hotel was really nice as was the beach restaurant but very over priced when compared to other beach bars a few hundred meters away.
Il servizio
Le stanze piccole
Let’s start with that this is NOT a 5 star hotel. Awards are from many years ago. The people at the front desk were great. Prices at the bar are expensive, don’t even try to do laundry, because you are better buying new clothes. Location is great and the fact that you can access the lido is also great, but going back to the rating. The room was very outdated, no complimentary water, no toothbrush or toothpaste, no paper, no pen, the hair dryer was very very old, bathroom fan didn’t work, bathroom had 3 lights 2 were burnt. No plug in the bathroom, light switch was outside the bath on the opposite side of the door so if you get up in the middle of the night you will definitely wake up the other person. U get one beach towel and if you want to replace it for a clean one is $5. The breakfast was ok, egg station and chef were great, Coffee station was good too, pastries were flavorless, breakfast is served on the terrace and it was hot, I’m pretty sure the temperature of the food doesn’t comply with the required temp to be fresh but that is up to health department to determine. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for even a 4 star hotel.
Cefalu Sea Palace was extraordinary in every respect—from its stunning location and excellent amenities to its cleanliness, outstanding service, and, most importantly, its exceptional staff. A special thank you to Martina, Daniele, Federico, Monica, Riccardo, Concetta, the chef, and the breakfast team, all of whom contributed to making our stay the best we have had in Italy. Martina went above and beyond by assisting us with last-minute accommodation after we unexpectedly walked in off the street following a disappointing Airbnb experience. Federico was equally remarkable, arranging a doctor's visit for us at 10:15 p.m. when we needed assistance. The genuine care, professionalism, and hospitality shown by every member of the team made our stay truly memorable. We are incredibly grateful and would highly recommend Cefalu Sea Palace to anyone visiting the area.

Location and very helpful staff
Location is very good. Quiet at night, but not too far from beach and historic sights. It is a 10 minute walk to the edge of the historic centre. Other hotels on the beach road that we considered were nearer but when we walked past them we were glad we chose the Sea Palace. The others had much busier roads around them and less appealing outlooks. It is not far from the train station but the walk with large bags wasn't that pleasant with narrow pavements. (For the uphill return we got a taxi from reception). Our room was quiet and near the back. It was large, clean, with a comfortable bed. We also had a large terrace, which partial views of the sea and the town. The air con worked well. Breakfast was on the top floor with lovely views. There was a good range of food, including some nuts, and fresh coffee made by staff. Also some fruit. (Availability of nuts and fruit seemed to vary by the day). Its beach club almost opposite was good. We got beach towels from reception which was handy. We arrived before official check in but after a lunch at the beach club we were able to check in an hour and a half early.
The main downside for us was the emphasis on no food or drink in the room, including it would seem water (it was not clear). Other reviews have mentioned this, and the response has been that it is a common policy and for safety and hygiene, which seems odd. We go to many hotels in many places and have never had this. We like to use hotel bars but also like to have lots of bottled water to drink, and a drink of shop bought wine or beer on the terrace, perhaps with crisps or nuts. For those of us to like to do the right thing it leads to unnecessary stress. Not many places try now to force you to use a mini-fridge with high prices and stop you using it for storage of own bought items. We used the bar in the evening and it had a lovely night time view of the town and cliffs. But it still looked like the restaurant room, with a few tables on the edge for bar seating. Not sure what can be done to make it more of a draw but it is a pity there was no more standard bar area for the evening (there was an outside area which was being done up when we were there - perhaps that will be a place to go in the evening). It would be nice to have some events like wine tastings or acoustic music early evening or happy hours that might encourage use of the bars. The breakfast food was fine but not as good as some places, eg no fresh yoghurt or freshly cooked mushrooms. We are not big fans of the white table cloth and white chair cover look, which is quite old-fashioned. The beach club loungers weren't the most comfortable - not easy to adjust.

Other reviews have mentioned this, and the response has been that it is a common policy and for safety and hygiene, which seems odd. We go to many hotels in many places and have never had this. The opposite in fact with bottled water often now provided free to avoid the need to go to local shops. And often space in the mini-fridge for brought in water, milk etc. We like to use hotel bars but also like to have lots of bottled water to drink, and a drink of wine or beer on the terrace, perhaps with crisps or nuts. If the issue is people having parties and being anti-social, that should be what is stated. Or bringing in lots of food, eg take-aways, that should be mentioned. If the issue is food debris, attracting mice etc, then a reminder to keep food wrapped would suffice. In terms of bars in fact we would have liked to have a drink at the hotel more often. We used the day-time beach bar which was fine, though as others have said a bit pricey. We also used the 4th floor bar once in the evening and it had a lovely night time view of the town and cliffs. But it still looked like the restaurant room, with a few tables on the edge for bar seating, and we were the only people there at 11pm. Not sure what can be done to make it more of a draw but it is a pity there was no more standard bar area for the evening (there was an outside area which was being done up when we were there - perhaps that will be a place to go in the evening). Great location, warm and welcoming staff, very comfortable
The good: Great, big breakfast buffét with a roof top view over the sea and town. 10/10. The cleaning/room keeping is very good and the over all condition of the hotel is nice and clean. It’s close to the beach, just across the road. And it’s in walking distance to the ”old town” and beach walk where you have restaurants, cafees, supermarkets (Deco Gourmet is the best, you can find everything you need there, 10 min walk from the hotel). and the pharmacy is close by on the corner street of the supermarket). The two guys working at the front desk are super helpful, the restaurant staff at the breakfast aswell.
The bad: the hotel hosts events, parties and weddings in the hotel garden right outside from the rooms/balcony. They blasted music to 1 pm in the night and when confronted just brushed it away. (Not so great if you want to sleep and relax during your vacation). The rooms are very … so when the breakfast staff starts to arrange the tables and chairs 06:30 you’ll wake up. We asked a few times and the staff pretended like nothing. Though the tall guy with brown hair and glasses actually talked with the breakfast staff and things improved. The beach is not private though that’s what being marketed when you book your stay. The lady in the frontdesk assured us that it was only for the hotel guests. They have sunbeds and umbrellas for the guests but there was a few people who sneaked in and just occupied sunbeds without being guests of the hotel and not paying. There are also sellers on the beach and some of them can get really pushy, insisting that you buy something. The manager, a lady with curly dark hair was very defensive and rude about this. ”We can do what we want” was the answer when confronted. She remained rude the whole stay, fake smiling as soon as she saw us. Be aware of her. I’ve traveled all over the world but she was one of the most arrogant I’ve ever met. Totalt forgot that her guests payed 3000 € for the stay and never tried to solve anything regarding blasting music at night, the beach or waking up at 6:30. Do not forget that the hotel will charge you 40 € when leaving, (TAX). So… If you can accept walking up during the night and early morning choose this hotel, but if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing hotel this is not for you.
Holiday | Couple I will start with the positives. Great location for beach and town which is stunning.great breakfast plenty choice Quiet around the pool for the most.great view from the restaurant. Hotel rooms are just ok,this hotel is more like a 3 star definitely not 5 star. We had a view of over grown weeds and a car park. 2 turtles in a supposed pond in the hotel,it was filthy limited water and a few stones thrown in. While knowbody really watches tv on holiday I did look and it only had 1 English channel bbc news,no access 2 tv apps eg Netflix (which u would expect in 5 star). No fridge to use in room and taking in food is FORBIDDEN (ridiculous rule) Drinks in the hotel are very expensive 16 euro for a pre made cocktail. The beds are rock hard. Overall the hotel is more style over substance and tends to prioritise weddings and conferences over hotel guests. Rooms: 3/5 | Service: 3/5 | Location: 5/5

Flott beliggenhet til både strand og by.

Location is good
The floor was full with scratches. When we. Checked out they said that we added some new scratches to the floor and wanted us to pay hundreds of Euros. Of course we refused and asked them to bring the police. Upon that they gave up trying. What a pity
Zajímavá stavba kousek od pláže. Pláž vybavená lehátky a slunečníky a barem. Moře velmi čisté. V hotelu prostorné pokoje s balkonem, velmi dobré snídaně a super restaurace. Do města lze dojít pěšky za čtvrt hodiny.
Convenient, clean , comfortable, and friendly staff
Poolside drinks a bit expensive
Poolbereich schön und sauber Frühstücksangebot vielseitig und hervorragend Personal sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend
Steiniger Strandabschnitt, ca. 100 m weiter Sandstrand
Visited this hotel, in May 2026 for 3 nights on route to tour Sicily. The hotel is very modern and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay although it was located a bit further down the seafront from the old town than we had envisaged. One of the reasons for booking the hotel was it has its own section of beach located across the road, but on arrival we were disapointed to be told that the hotels beach section was unavailable until the very end of May, early June. We felt this really should be better communicated. Another shock was the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room, which for a 5 star hotel is poor. One of the highlights of our stay was having breakfast in the roof top restaurant with panoramic views of Cefalu which was stunning. All in all a really nice stay but probably not 5 star.
Location. From my room and the beach was like 1 min walking. Good breakfast. Crossfit box (gym). Freeparking
In my opinion it isn’t a 5 starts hotel. The hotel is good but doesn’t have the service and the luxury of a 5 starts. For example there is no water or AC at the gym, no one helps you with your car or with your luggage. There is no coffee machine at the room. The poolbar is nothing special. There is no private beach at all!!!
This is a fantastic hotel the staff are so knowledgeable and friendly helping us organising trips to get the best experiences during our holiday lovely garden view room breakfasts were great fantastic coffee the restaurant was perfect so relaxed and great food for an evening meal beautifuly presented would definitely recommend a visit the staff were amazing thankyou for a lovely holiday 😀
Beliggenhed!
Mangler mulighed for at lave en kop kaffe/the på værelset.
The hotel location was great. The included breakfast was very good and the staff was very accommodating. The free parking was also a plus.
The noice when setting up the restaurant was a bit too much.
Perfect location on the seafront and practically on the beach. Decent breakfast.
Pool was freezing! Heating it would be a lovely bonus for guests. Would be nice to have free water in the room. Breakfast chef was moody but funny!
Dobra lokalizacja, świetna restauracja na tarasie.
Słaby widok z balkonu.
- beautiful breakfast restaurant with magnificent view. Nice food selection (except for bread, which was very poor) - big, comfortable rooms and bathroom - on site bar, pool, fitness Center, spa (but did not use, so can not judge) - just in front of the sea (but check things to improve)
- there is a ridiculous policy that you can not bring drinks or food from the outside. This is the first time in my life I encounter this policy and I find it very disappointing and unfair. The reception even monitors people as they get into the hotel for this. - our room had a very partial view of the sea, not really worth to seat on the balcony which we were looking forward to - there is private parking, but it is very small! I can not imagine the fights to get in and out during high season - I guess during summer season is different, but middle may there was no beach seating provided by the hotel (not terrible, but good to know)
Pool området lå dejligt i læ.
Conforto
Preço alto
the room is spacious, clean and tidy, as is the bathroom. the maid makes daily rounds. the choice for breakfast is not too big, but it is enough
the room we booked is with a garden view. however, ours was more overlooking the parking lot. although it was stated that the room had a parking space, there were not enough of them. besides, it is an unmarked grassy area, so everyone can park as they wish. if you come later in the evening, you won't find a free place
Aucun acoustique ? Catastrophique ! C'est dommage pour un 5 étoiles
pros!! Location is Very good 👍 Cleanliness very clean 👍 Staff very friendly and helpful. We were b&b only, breakfast was ok for me, but many others didn't like selection. Room very comfortable and good views . Cons!! We were in room 328 below Restaurant it gets very noisy from 5 am onwards with staff dragging furniture about while setting up breakfast. The same in the night until midnight making it very hard to get a decent sleep. No kettle in room and the fridge in the room is not for personal use. You only use what the hotel supplies at very inflated prices. There is a warning sheet in the room that you may not purchase food and bring it to the room. We were warned by staff when they saw me with bag from supermarket, that the manager is watching on CCTV camera. I had bottles of water and snacks to eat on balcony, also to take medication. We were shocked on our first night in cefalu sea palace. We arrived late evening at 9.45 and went to the basement bar. My wife and I had a ham sandwich each and a cup of coffee and glass of lager, total £37.80 euro. These extortionate prices make people go elsewhere for the evening. We would have spent more time in the bar if prices were appropriate with other neighbours. Otherwise the hotel was wonderful 👍
