Über die Unterkunft selbst kann ich leider nicht wirklich etwas positives berichten. Der Herr am Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Die Unterkunft selbst ist veraltet (es gibt kein warmes Wasser!) und wir haben sie auch nicht wirklich sauber vorgefunden. Vor allem das Bad war nicht wirklich hygienisch. Das schlimmste war allerdings der Ort Bai Xep. Uns war bewusst, dass es sich um ein Fischerdorf handelt, mit Charme hatte das jedoch recht wenig zu tun. Der Ort ist ziemlich düster und zugemüllt. Der Strand ist im Sommer nicht wirklich nutzbar, da überall Fischer-Restaurants aufgebaut sind. Wir haben uns nicht wohlgefühlt. Zudem befindet sich der Ort ziemlich außerhalb der Stadt, sodass man keine Möglichkeiten hat, abends etwas zu unternehmen oder essen zu gehen.

The location is perfect. You have the best cafe view at Bai Xep. They also offer the SUP service and boat service to small islands nearby. The staff is extremely helpful. My children enjoyed the big range of English books there. We will definitely come back

Location de paddle, restauration parfaite, variée, pizza faites maison et cuite dans le four à bois. Gentillesse et disponibilité du personnel.

The location was amazing, right on the beach. Food is pretty good. The staff were great with everything. We completely messed up our booking and they went out of their way to sort it out and get us the rooms we needed.

The drain in the shower was blocked and filled with water in both rooms we had. Minor thing, the suite balcony view was a bit blocked by the tree ha ha.

Das Haven liegt in einer schönen Bucht, abseits von jeglichem Tourismus und direkt in einem Fischerdorf. Die Zimmer waren sauber, schön eingerichtet und sehr großzügig, was wir sehr genossen haben. Der Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer ist wirklich traumhaft. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl und ist mehr auf Touristen eingestellt anstatt auf Local Food. Ebenso das gesamte Essensangebot im Restaurant. Wir haben uns über die Strandtasche mit den Handtüchern gefreut und es gab eine Möglichkeit sich einen Sonnenschirm für den Strand auszuleihen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Jeden Tag verwandelte das Dorf den Strand zu einem großen Freiluftrestaurant. Dort konnte man abends fangfrischen Fisch, Krebse, Seeigel etc. essen.

Der Strand direkt vor dem Hotel ist ziemlich überfüllt mit Stand up Paddles und allerlei Kram. Man geht aber nicht wirklich weit um an unberührten Strand zu kommen. 😊 Das Meer hat uns zum Schwimmen nicht so gut gefallen. Es war eher stürmisch und hatte eine starke Strömung (war wahrscheinlich dem Wetter geschuldet). Die Gezeiten sind dort extrem spürbar. Es gibt keine Liegen am Strand - wahrscheinlich wegen der Gezeiten oder es ist nicht gewollt. Die Dorfbewohner machen zum Teil sehr laut Karaoke, was wir als etwas störend empfunden haben. Das Dorf selber hat enge Straßen und wirkt nicht sehr sauber oder einladend.

The staff is warm, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They truly made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and so much flavor. I especially enjoyed being able to relax and enjoy great meals in such a beautiful setting.

I enjoyed the paddleboarding, sitting on the patio, meals, coffee, playing guitar, and visiting, with the staff and guests. It is a very welcoming place and very beautiful—sunrise, sunset, and all day!

We loved being right beside the beach in a small fishing village off the tourist trail. The food in the restaurant was consistently good and good range of options. They even make their own pasta. We were helped with our bags to the pick up point to meet our driver as you cannot drive a car right up to the hotel.

Sometimes the service was a bit slow in the restaurant and some staff were friendlier than others. The sofa bed for my daughter was not particularly comfortable.

By the beach, even though there is a lot of rocks at the seabed, restaurant has a good menu of Euro and local foods, quiet beach and very good sea view to enjoy as well as walking along the beautiful beach, there is no road to the hotel but to walk in a narrow 200 m alley, there is a bunch of local sea food served on the beach at the evening

Het eten was echt fantastisch! Mijn man eet geen schelp en schaaldieren die met overvloed overal verkocht worden en was heel blij met de pasta’s en pizza en steak met peper sauce en de Vietnamese noedels en Vietnamese ontbijt! Ook de ravioli en pizza en bananen pannenkoekjes.. en oh ja de vis nem voorgerecht met dille in een pakketje! Die was de winnaar! We hebben alles geprobeerd! De manager( Dane met kort haar) super vriendelijk en toen mijn man z’n schouder wat verbrand waren hadden ze een soort aloe vera in de koelkast staan. Ook restaurantje in mini dorp straatje is erg goed en gezellig. (Wel lang wachten maar je hebt vakantie dus dat is geen probleem) bedden in de kamer slapen ook super! En douche heerlijk. We waren er 4 dagen en tot nu toe is dit d het de beste plek die we hebben gehad en denken niet meer zo’n fantastische lokatie en fijne bediening en menu kaart te vinden! Bedankt Haven voor deze heerlijke dagen!

Het dorp en strand is wat klein. Je kunt niet echt een stuk wandelen. De dorps Leiden of lokale bezoekers die op het strand in de vis restaurantje eten en veel drinken kunnen nog al wat geluid maken. Een nacht was er ruzie en gegil van dronken bezoekers of dorpsbewoners. Dit klonk alsof ze elkaar wilden afmaken. Maar gelukkig voel je je als gast in Haven volkomen veilig en op je gemak! We gaan deze plek enorm missen!

The location during the day is wonderful - stunning beach and very relaxed vibe in the restaurant at The Haven with great options for food. The sea is exceptional and the sand mostly clean and soft.

Sadly this was supposed to be our down time location during a big Vietnam adventure as a family of 5. We had sea room views and whilst the days were quiet until 3pm from then the beach is hugely congested around the hotel with day trippers and noisy families. They are all enjoying the water and having fun which is great but they then stay for drinks and a fish supper at the 3 beachfront restaurants. The karaoke continues until 2-3am every night which was awful. Such a huge shame as it really did change the dynamic of our stay. We asked to change rooms but they said they were fully booked so we couldn’t do much about it. A real shame.

Such a gorgeous location on a beautiful beach and many surrounding beaches to visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. The food in the restaurant was always amazing! We had breakfast and dinner every day there and it was always SO GOOD! We would highly recommend this place.

Nothing to do with the property, but the beach has lots of plastic chairs and tables in the evening and people leave a lot of rubbish behind :( Thankfully there are people who come to clean early in the morning, but nobody should be allowed to leave rubbish behind in such a beautiful place.

Die Lage dieses Hotels ist einfach unschlagbar. Es liegt direkt am Strand und wenn man ein Zimmer mit Meerblick bucht, bekommt man auch wirklich einen traumhaften, uneingeschränkten Blick aufs Meer. Der Strand war ruhig, sauber und von wunderschöner Natur umgeben – perfekt zum Entspannen. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls absolut empfehlenswert. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren sehr lecker und das gesamte Personal war jederzeit freundlich und aufmerksam.

Der einzige Punkt, der unseren Aufenthalt zu Beginn etwas getrübt hat, war die Sauberkeit. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Bettwäsche leider nicht frisch bezogen und sichtbar verschmutzt.

What an unknown gem. Dropped off and walked through a little lane way to our little part of paradise. So much more than what we expected. So relaxed and swimming beach right at our doorstep. Food was good as were the drinks. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms small but comfortable especially for the price. Such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. So recommend this place for a few relaxing days.

Het is een heerlijk verblijf. Direct aan het strand. De kamers zijn schoon en de bedden prima. Je kunt in de avond heerlijk eten op het strand of in een nabij restaurant. Het personeel is erg behulpzaam en altijd vriendelijk.

Jammer dat er geen bezem was in de kamer om zelf even het zand weg te vegen wanneer je van het strand komt. Dit is meer een tip dan een tegenvaller.

Amazing location on the beach, with a lovely bar/restaurant area, so much so we barely left. Staff are amazing and honestly we could have stayed here for a week quite comfortably. After landing in Ho Chi Minh and then going to Da Lat, this place was such a refreshing change of pace. If you’re hesitant about not being close to Quy Nhon as we were, rest assured you are not missing out in my opinion, a few days here and you’ll be recharged. Paradise. Room itself was nice and also the comfiest bed we’ve had on the trip so far. Also loved the friendly dog they have here.

Staff could be more aware of letting mosquitos in when they sort the rooms out as there were a lot when we arrived but once we got rid of most of them it wasn’t too bad.

The atmosphere of this place is incredibly peaceful, perfect for deep relaxation. The rooms are cozy, the beach just steps away from the exit. The food is delicious, with a great variety of dishes. Most importantly, the staff are the heart of this place. Thank you, you are not only helpful and attentive but also genuinely kind people. Your warmth makes this hotel a special experience!

You can watch people rising early, go for a swim, walk down the beach, then it transforms into buzzing local restaurant in the evening Staff are so friendly :) The food they serve is really good - the whole town is a fishing town with loads of seafood so lots to compete with but they cook really nice, fresh food Caters to Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese tourists. Not saturated by overtourism The hai san restaurant on the beach is buzzing in the evening, its fun to people watch and try the food there. It's busy, lit up and with music from speakers but it's pretty fun and also is completely clean by the morning. Breakfast included, the coconut coffee shake is amazing They will arrange trips for you Quy nhon is an amazing city Go to champa temples and quy nhon cathedral Go to nhon hai to spend a day hanging out and doing beach activities Go to Quy Hòa village (next bay over), it's a hospital community set up for leprosy patients 100 years ago which is very peaceful with unique buildings and an amazing beach. People are so friendly here.

The tables and chairs aren’t so comfortable if all you plan to do is sit and stare at the sea all day ( and that’s really all there is to do here).

The beautiful location and view from the Haven is just outstanding. It has open air vibes - you walk through the gates and you relax. The beach is right there - the rugged rocks, crystal clear water. The restaurant was great - lots of different foods on offer and great value. The Bang Xeo is fresh, crunchy and highly recommended. The breakfast was made to order and the bread rolls were warm and crunchy - fresh juices. The room was simple, clean, air conditioned - the room was nice and big - the best was the vista from the balcony. They rely on water from the well so we were mindful with water usage in the shower. They provide a nice beach bag and towels for the beach. Most of the staff are from the local village and everyone of them was friendly and seemed pleased that we had chosen to visit.

Understandable why they do it - but you have to take your key when you leave your room it turns off the power to lights/air conditioner, so when you return to the room is very hot.

This hotel is located just at the southern "back beach" in the fishing village Bai Xep. It has a laid-back vibe. Be aware that the hotel is not directly accessible by car. One still has to walk about 150 m from the drop off point. The check-in was quick and easy. The hotel's team was helpful and friendly. Additionally, one could book certain tours (like a boat trip with a fisherman to the small islands offshore with snorkeling or visiting ancient Cham towers). The soft and hard corals are beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. We highly recommend to book the room with sea view as it is much better equipped and has a balcony. It is well worth it to pay the higher price in comparison to the tiny rooms with a garden view. A lot of things are very thoughtfully arranged. For example, in the rooms are beach bags with beach towels. Complementary drinking water is provided as you need it. One can borrow Vietnamese traditional style sun hats, umbrellas, yoga mattress and even a guitar. Downstairs are nice places to hang around with sofas and chairs, lots of books to share as well as boardgames to play. Breakfast was included in the stay. The banana pancakes as well as the muesli and fruit meal were great. Furthermore, the restaurant on site was open the whole day. Their menu has a wide variety of options (pizza, pasta, burgers, Vietnamese). The salads are very good and the home made pasta was delicious. We can also recommend the wood fired pizza. Additionally, the homemade ginger beer is great!

The snorkel gear from the hotel is quite poor.

Very nice spot by the ocean. The terrace is an awesome place to chill, have a Coffee etc. They give you beach towels and everyone has been so kind and accommodating even after Check out as we were waiting for the bus. Restaurant is excellent with loads of choice. You walk 300m from the main road to get there.

Fishing beach so not the cleaniest. They give you a free beer if you help clean though!

Perfect location right on one of the best beaches i visited in Vietnam. When you walk through the locals village to get to the hotel, turn a corner and wow the view explodes on you!! Enjoyed the included breakfast. Super friendly staff always willing to help. Having a drink or a bite to eat on their terrace overlooking the sea is to die for! The seafood restaurants on the front where can pick your food live from the bowls on the beach to be cooked for you was pretty cool! There's also a great restaurant just on the alley behind the hotel. It was a little bit of paradise with very few tourists where locals came to enjoy which kept the prices down too! During the day time it was pretty much deserted but did appear to get a bit busier with the locals in the evening, I loved it as felt it made the place more genuine tho. Amazing value for money.

The public areas could be a bit cleaner. The whole village is a bit isolated which I loved but you'll struggle to get a taxi after 9pm. Personally I found the locals to be a bit offish, not unfriendly just made you feel like you were being 'tolerated'??

The restaurant overlooks the sea, which is beautiful. Food was very good and staff were friendly.

I wouldn't book it for a busy weekend again. It was noisy outside and the beach was packed with people from the quan next door in the evening. There was karaoke all around too.

Dold pärla som starkt rekommenderas. Rena och fina rum. Utmärkt mat och dryck samt bra frukost. Perfekt ställe för avkoppling och utflykter.

Arriving at the beginning of the village, we didn't expect to find this pearl of a hotel. Schlepping our bags through the small alleys, as curtains Haven and its pristine beach opened themselves suddenly. It's a gem to escape both the humidity and masses that can occupy Vietnam.

Nothing really. One can take a parasol to shield herself against the sunshine, the fried bananapancakes at breakfast are delicious, the seafood at the beachstalls a luxury!

Charming place , right on the beach. No car in this fishing village Very nice friendly helpful staff Bedroom are small but perfectly adequate and well organised I would definitely recommend this place - a little gem in Vietnam- don’t miss it.

Food is not bad but a bit disappointing, which is a shame considering their location - you could easily have breakfast lunch and dinner there. I wasn’t made aware of the fact that cars could not go right to the hotel - I had 2 massive heavy bags and had to walk on my way there, which was a bit of a challenge. When I left, they organised a scooter to take my luggage to the place where my taxi was waiting for me. Better information would have been useful.

Kleines aber feines Hotel direkt am Strand. Der Strand ist nicht sehr gross, es gibt Sonnenschirme welche ausgeliehen werden können. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig, es kann jedoch ohne Probleme einen Roller gemietet werden oder sonstige Aktivitäten von hier aus organisiert werden.

Das Frühstück ist etwas eintönig.

Lối vào nhỏ như vô hẻm nên phải đi bộ 😅, nếu gđ nào hành lý nhiều sẽ khó vận chuyển ( vì mình checkin đêm, chứ ban ngày chắc có n.v hỗ trợ )
