Life's A Beach

We absolutely loved this place and would 100% stay here again. The view is beautiful, the atmosphere is so much fun, and the family dinners downstairs are unlike anything else. Dinner feels very social and welcoming, and afterward they do games, karaoke, and dancing. Our kids loved it and were always made to feel included, which meant a lot to us. Steve was wonderful and really helped make the stay a great experience. I would highly recommend this place for solo travelers because it would be such an easy place to meet people, but it was also great for our family.

The only thing I would personally change is that I would not book the tent again, especially for a longer stay. The view from it was amazing, but it was extremely hot. There is AC inside, but during our stay it just could not keep the tent cool enough to be comfortable. For one or two nights I could probably handle it, but we stayed for a full week and I really wished we had booked one of the regular rooms instead, where the AC could keep up better. I would absolutely stay at Life’s A Beach again — I would just choose a different room type next time.

The place is great if you’re looking for a holiday from your holiday. Private beach is great.

We came to Life’s a Beach 9 years ago as backpackers. Now we came back with our kids. The site has changed a little but absolutely not the amazing vibe. We loved every second of our time there. Back in another 9 years!! The boat trip to Monkey Island was amazing, recommend!

J’avais eu un coup de cœur pour cet établissement sur les photos (réservé il y a des mois) mais la réalité a été décevante. À part la plage, rien n’est beau, c’est dommage car il y a vraiment du potentiel, le spot est vraiment canon. Par ailleurs, j’ai payé un prix tellement élevé pour une nuit (43€ sans le pdj) 😢 Ça ne les valait vraiment pas par rapport à ce que l’on peut avoir au Vietnam pour ce tarif. À 20€ la nuit (tarif apparemment appliqué d’ordinaire), mon commentaire aura été différent. La nourriture proposée à la carte n’est pas non plus très qualitative..

Ich habe eine Nacht im Dorm geschlafen und es war wirklich sehr gut. Bequeme Betten, Privatsphäre durch Vorhänge und war wirklich sehr ruhig. Wir waren auch nur 3 Leute im Dorm. :) Die Unterkunft bietet abends auch ein gemeinsames Essen an. So kommt man auch mit anderen Reisenden ins Gespräch, die etwa im Bungalow schlafen. Auch der Strand ist sehr schön. Auch das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. Und nicht zu vergessen das sehr nette Personal. 👌

Ich habe 2 Nächte im Bungalow geschlafen. Wer hier großen Luxus erwartet ist hier falsch. Der Bungalow war sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Der Blick von der Terrasse war wirklich sehr schön. Man jederzeit das Rauschen des Meeres hören. Wirklich traumhaft. Essen und Personal wirklich top.👍

The structure is amazing! The dorm is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the facilities are excellent. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. You get a beautiful view, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the sunrise is absolutely spectacular. I would definitely recommend staying here!

On the one hand, it’s wonderful that the property is tucked away on a wild, unspoiled stretch of coastline. On the other hand, if you enjoy exploring and don’t want to spend your entire stay in one place, you’ll definitely need to rent a motorbike, as there are no buses to the city or the nearby fishing villages. You can rent a motorbike directly through the property, but if you’re travelling light, I’d recommend renting one as soon as you arrive in Quy Nhon before heading to Life’s a Beach. You’ll get a much better rate, and you won’t have to worry about arranging an expensive taxi back to the airport or bus/train station at the end of your stay. It can also be difficult to find Grab drivers in the area, so having your own bike makes getting around much easier.

Rarely if ever do I give such high scores. You have to experience this idyllic spot to appreciate it. It is very laid back.. Steve the proprietor is fantastic with local knowledge and taking care of you needs. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views and location was calm and peaceful. The accommodation for us as a family was great, with a double and two bunks, plenty of space and bathroom. Fantastic view from the accommodation. Food was very tasty and great value for money. The ‘family meal’ option was great for meeting people and made you feel very welcome. Highly recommend

La posizione direttamente sulla spiaggia, l' ambiente familiare e tranquillo. Lo staff molto disponibile. Dovevamo fermarci 2 notti ma ne abbiamo aggiunta 1 perché siamo stati molto bene..

La sympathie du gérant, toujours prêt à rendre service,j'avais oublié mon chargeur de téléphone,il me l'a ramené le lendemain (30 mtes de route!) Bravo ! Et merci à tout le staff

the location is wonderful, the bar has a great atmosphere with good drinks and food. there’s a family dinner every night and a guitar that guests can use!

Lovely staff who were so funny and accommodating, they were always busy making sure everything was good! The views and the beach on this property were incredible!! We stayed in the tent which was really good value for money.

The owner (I think) was a bit rude to his staff and wasn’t massively helpful. Having a space with some AC during the day would’ve been nice during the hot temperatures. The food offered isn’t very varied, more western food than local which was a shame!

The staff at Life’s a Beach are fantastic and extremely helpful, particularly with bus bookings. They make everyone feel extremely welcome and included. The food and drinks on offer are great. I loved family dinner each night followed by games to create a sense of community.

The rooms with no AC get very hot in the warmer months

Sehr tolle Anlage. Direkter Strandzugang und extrem freundliches Personal. Es war sauber und das Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Sonnenaufgang con der Dachterrasse aus ist unglaublich schön anzusehen. Tolle Aktivitäten die auf dem Tagesprogramm stehen.

Man ist eher abgelegen (17 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt). Die Betten im gemischten Schlafsaal sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen und am auseinanderfallen, trotzdem aber bequem.

A little paradise on the Quy Nhon coast with a beautiful view on a calm beach and a very friendly staff. Life's beach is the perfect place to relax during your trip.

Nothing. Only to note that if you plan to go to Quy Nhon often from there, you need to book a car or rent a motorbike. If you book a car, since location is farther from the city, you need to be a little patient with waiting time.

Un séjour de fou. Une ambiance de fou. Une nouvelle bande d’amis, des voyageurs jusqu’aux volontaires et au staff, j’ai passé un incroyable séjour hors du temps la bas !

Einfach traumhaft. Abseits von der Stadt liegt Life's a Beach. Hier kommt man an und schaltet direkt bei einem Ankunftsbier ab. Personal alle nett und hilfsbereit. Nach kürzester Zeit weis jeder wer du bist. Langweilig wird es hier nicht, sei es ein Ausflug auf die Nachbarinsel, das family dinner, oder BBQ, der Strand, man kommt hier so schnell mit Leuten in Kontakt.

This is a great place and I loved the setting. Well run by a team of friendly staff and owner. If you're solo travelling with friends or family it's well setup to socialise and meet people or let you enjoy some privacy and private space. I would definitely book again!

Trop éloigné de tout, malgré la location de scooters, il faut qu'ils y en aient de disponibles, pas évident si beaucoup de monde. L'éloignement peut obliger a consommer sur place, et la restauration n'est pas top et un peu chère par rapport aux tarifs appliqués au vietnam. Pas toujours cohérent avec la philosophie prônée (protection environnement, happy life...)..on ressent trop l'esprit business ! Dommage. Attention, pas de wifi

Отличное место! Все продумано до мелочей! Я жила в палатке, с которой есть и холодильник, и кондиционер, и большая бутылка с водой. Очень вкусно готовят в ресторане и первонал милый м говорит по-английски. Прекрасное место для отдыха

One of the best places I stayed in Vietnam ❤️ the family dinners were awesome, the view from the room was incredible (listening to the sea as you fall asleep is the best) and everyone was very friendly and kind. So relaxing, wish I had stayed longer.

I didn't mind this at all, but it is defo isolated, so if you go bear in mind that you will not be doing much in the way of exploring the local area. Not that you need to, it is so gorgeous there.

I could feel the vibe of this place before arrival! Welcoming inclusive staff, hostel dinners and games. Quiet location and very relaxing. I'll be back! Thanks everyone! 😁

This place is in an amazing location and has a wonderful view over the ocean. the staff is super friendly and the communal dinners were really fun and tasty. we enjoyed our time there a lot.

the beach is a little dirty as there is quite some dirt being washed up from the ocean. other than that if was great!

Die Unterkunft liegt wirklich direkt am Strand und man hat den Strand fast für sich alleine. Der ist auch total sauber. Die Atmosphäre ist gut und super zum entspannen.

Dafür ist die Unterkunft auch etwas schwerer zu erreichen, aber nicht unmöglich mit zum Beispiel Grab. Man bekommt in der Unterkunft alles an. Verpflegung ist dafür aber auch etwas teurer. Dass die Hütten offen sind und man somit das Meeresrauschen hört. Ist zwar schön, aber zusammen mit dem Geräuschpegel vom Ventilator auch Gewöhnungssache.

Absolutely stunning place with great people! Very fun nights and delicious (and reasonable priced) food. This is one of the best places i’ve stayed at in Vietnam so far. So so chill, private beach even. Would recommend 10/10.

Location is huge factor for here. But staff, accommodation, interaction, food choice, the list goes on.

The only down side is you can’t get grabs from the property however you can book taxis. But you never want to leave anyway.

Es un paraiso. Muy cómodo y personal amable.

Tener en cuenta que esta un poco apartado de Quy Nhon. Yo alquile una moto para llegar e irme que termine utilizando muy poco. Tambien creo que ofrecen traslados.

Сотрудники приветливые и очень общительные. Все было очень уютно и комфортно. Хорошие коктейли, бильярд, настольный тенис пляж с огромным количеством крабов, если возьмете с собой маску можно поискать рыб вдоль скал. Бунгало расположены с шикарным видом на море, над кроватью есть сетка. Никаких проблем с насекомыми у нас не было. Сотрудники прекрасно говорят на английском. По вечерам проводятся коллективные ужины, в которых при желании можно поучаствовать.

Для меня было всего 2 минуса это немного грязный пляж и кухня. Кухня немного дороже чем в городе и представлены в основном европейские блюда. Брал говядину с овощами была достаточно жесткой.

The tent we booked didn’t match the one on the website. Ours was really small and no place to put our bags. If you get unlucky like us it rained and some got inside. We wish we had booked a room because the place is nice One of the female staff I think might be a supervisor wasn’t very friendly and got grumpy at a mistake she made on the bill

Gemeinschaft wird gelebt, jeden Abend gibt es ein gemeinsames Dinner. Menschen aus aller Welt kommen nach hier. Direkter Meerblick mit Meeresrauschen. In den Zelten gibt es auch einen Kühlschrank und man hat hier mehr Ruhe. Vom Bett schaut man direkt aus Meer.
