Notre séjour a été un des plus agréables à ce jour , personnels au petit soin à l'écoute du client. Chambres, déjeuners et restaurant magnifiques. Si vous voulez visiter Pompéi, je vous conseille fortement l'établissement.

Location and cleanliness

Roof bar reluctantly accepts hotel guests after 9pm at weekends though is desperate for your business through the week. Bedroom curtains do not cover the windows of the room we stayed in. Hotel manager said all rooms were the same!

Location and friendly atmosphere. rooftop was a major plus. Room spacious and very quiet.

Spa was closed during our stay

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Josephine, a notre arrivée malgré que nous soyons en avance pour le chek-in, Des chambres étaient malgré tout déjà disponibles, et nous avons eu le plaisir d'avoir pu bénéficier d'un surclassement exceptionnel ! Ce qui pourrait affecté notre jugement. Chambres spacieuses, petit déjeuner de qualité, roof top a faire, proche des ruines! Bref une bonne adresse.

Petit défaut, l'accès à l'hôtel pourrait être mieux indiqué, et il manque un parking ou un service voiturier, mais rien de dramatique !

Das Frühstück könnte besser sein : teils billige Produkte die man nur bei Bezahlung durch bessere ersetzt bekommt (z.b. O-saft).... oder eben nicht.

We had a very warm welcome and was upgraded to the amazing suite! Such a treat. Beautiful throughout, splendid service, perfect location and just the best choice to explore Pompei. The rooftop bar had 360 view and the restaurant served great gluten free food for me and excellent service.

Beautiful hotel with convenient location ! Easy walk to city center/square, shopping, and food. Very warm and professional greeting upon arrival. Friendly staff. Hotel had construction going on, so accessing the front door with luggage was a bit challenging but doable. We stayed in the suite with the terrace and it was incredible. Two bathrooms, the closet space was top notch- luxurious and modern. The terrace is huge and the views are amazing, zero shade during the day, so an umbrella would be ideal. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was very delicious ! The restaurant staff seem a bit unprepared and distracted- we were the only guests at lunch and breakfast, and had to track down the server both meals to get the bill and request refills. The challenging restaurant service is the only reason I rated 4/5. Everything else was great. Our sweet was modern and had all the amenities plus a free mini bar with snacks and refreshments. The spa bathroom was so nice ! Huge soaker tub and large walk in shower.

Die Heiterkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals lässt oft zu wünschen übrig. Das Personal erscheint oft etwas hilflos und gestresst, insbesondere im angeschlossen Restaurant, aber auch an der Rezeption. Es scheint unter einem zu rigiden Hotelmanagement zu leiden, das den Spaß an der Arbeit nicht genug fördert. Zudem ist das subtile Drängen auf Extrabestellungen beim Frühstück trotz vorhandenem Buffet in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel-Restaurant nicht angemessen.

Rooms were great, staff were extremely helpful, the location was excellent for eating out in Pompeii and visiting the sights.

We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the ruins of Pompeii. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the starting point for our tour from the hotel. We much preferred this compared to a 1 Hour drive from Naples or Sorrento. The property used to be part of the Accor chain but is no part of Marriott. You can feel that they have not yet adapted to the Marriott style, and in fact, they probably should raise their standards a little to be better aligned. The rooms are fine, but the decor is definitely minimalist. The air-conditioning worked well, the windows and curtains were good for soundproofing. Quite near to the hotel are multiple restaurants and street cafés. Although the hotel is on the more touristy side of the main square. They did seem to be more and better choices on the opposite side. Parking is not on site, but maybe 100 m from the hotel. It is located behind the Eden children’s fun fair. When you first arrive at the hotel pull up to the Ballard’s that block the main entrance. Either they will not issue and drop them or there is an intercom on the left hand entry pillar. Press nine to be connected to reception. They allow you to unload your bags in the courtyard, and then move the car. You will be given an entry exit pass for the Eden parking lot that lets you come and go multiple times. The parking is charged to your room. Breakfast was included in our rate, however, we chose to skip. There is also a rooftop bar with amazing views. However, at the time we visited, they still had some protective coverings that had been up for the winter. This somewhat ruined the view because you were looking through plastic sheeting. Overall the hotel is fine as a 1-2 night stay for Pompeii

Ideal location! 2 block walk to Pompeii Archaeological Park. We purchased our tickets for Pompeii at the front desk of the hotel and the staff printed our tickets, which included the bar code, so when we got to the park, we zipped right in. The purchase ticket line at Pompeii, can be long, so purchase in advance. Lots of restaurants and shops around hotel but the hotel has a terrific rooftop bar/restaurant!

Comfortable, modern, staff excellent and very central for exploring the Pompeii ruins

Best sleep I got during my 17days travel in Italy ! Nice goose down duvet with duvet cover ( not simple blanket with upper & under sheet aas some hotels provide) NUXE skin care product in the room feels good.

TV signal developed a fault

Gorgeous room and stellar service from reception. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We can’t remember the man’s name who mainly helped us, he had a horse (I think?) tattoo on the right side of his neck. He helped get tix for our Pompeii tour, gave us restaurant recommendation and was very helpful, friendly and professional.

Beautiful modern hotel. Nice retreat after a lot of walking to visit the Roof top bar. We also had a dinner there that was amazing. Views were spectacular and close to New Pompeii to walk and shop.

A pool would be nice at this hotel. We arrived and the water that was out there was not drinkable. For being a 5 star property I had expected a little more. The room was nice.

Thehotel is in an excellent position, spotlessly clean with a wonderful dining room and rooftop bar. The staff were excellent David at reception was so helpful and service with a smile. The food was wonderful and presented with care. The bartenders in the rooftop bar really know their stuff. The whole experience was excellent. I think this is the best service and hotel we have ever received st the Accor chain. A big thank to all the staff who made us feel so welcome it was much Appreciated

Excellent, and the reason for this rating is simply based on the hotel not the city this property is in...And i understand it has the history behind it, but it does not change the overall experience (dirty city), shame really as well... Welcoming to the property was excellent, staff on the reception were extremely professional, full of smiles and willing to assist with every request.So thank you, the stay would not have been the same without you. Reception area, lobby area, well designed, more modern and then the rooms (upgraded to a Junior Suite), spacious, clean and modern. Shower was rain, good pressure and temperatures, toilet, sink and plenty of space. Small couch, decent TV size and a comfortable bed. Overall excellent on the room. Roof top bar, nice views, great service, however the food menu was average at best. We should have eaten at the restaurant downstairs as options were better. our fault not the property fault. The roof top is more finger foods, or Tapas style is suppose. Breakfast, good selection and all full of flavor, indoor and outdoor seating available. The ruins of Pompei, an experience and worth the visit...

Beautiful Hotel, right in the heart of the cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to Pompeii ruins and train station for Naples and Sorrento. Staff wonderful. One issue, breakfast! Lots of fruit, yoghurts, cake, ham etc, but 'English' element of the breakfast was cold and uninviting. No regrets staying here as overall, this hotel is by far the best in Pompeii, just don't expect cooked breakfast and you'll be fine.

Highly recommend this hotel!

Rooftop isn’t as accessible as advertised. Hotel is beautiful but we wouldn’t recommend more than a couple of nights. If your on a breakfast buffet plan, expect exactly the same minimal selection each day. Wish there was more variety then scrambled or self boiled eggs. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel has a calm and efficient feel, staff are friendly and helpful, good size room with minimalist interior, very comfy bed and great shower. Lovely breakfast to set you up for the day !

Great location near Pompei Archaelogical entrance and between 2 train station. Food all around and easy onward connection to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast or Capri.

Good Location within short walking distance of the Pompeii ruins. The hotel is modern and of the standard you expect for a M Gallery Hotel. Good sized rooms with all the luxury feel of M Gallery. I emailed with Patrizia to book the Spa before we arrived. We thought it would be great to relax and use the Spa facilities and have massage after a day exploring the ruins. Patrizia was absolutely wonderful and responded promptly. I then went and confirmed in person with Patrizia after we checked in. She is a wonderful and helpful lady. The sauna and hot tub/spa are a wonderful way to relax after a day of walking. Great for tired legs. The young ladies who did our massage were okay - my husband and I both felt that they weren’t exactly doing their best with frequent pauses (rests for them) throughout the massage but better than not having a massage at all. I probably would have said something at the time we left but I didn’t have the heart to upset Patrizia because she was so lovely and good at her job. We had dinner in the garden restaurant at the Hotel which was lovely. Good menu and the food was good. Service was also good. We had breakfast included and there was a good variety of food. We don’t have much luck with boiling an egg though and not much help from the staff. We also asked for a second coffee on our last morning there which never came. I would give the restaurant an average rating. There was a much friendlier and attentive family owned restaurant around the corner that we had lunch at on our first day in Pompeii. Reception staff were helpful in organising a taxi when we left.
