Fantastic location, lovely garden restaurant

The Lemon Garden is amazing and a wonderful place to dine. All the staff are welcoming and cheerful - housekeeping, service and reception. The rooms are comfortable and cool. Its location for visitors to Pompeii could not be bettered.

Well designed, very functional room.

We loved that the entire hotel was so well cared for. We liked the dining options down stairs and the fact that they had several gluten free options as my daughter has Celiac Disease. We especially loved the air conditioner!

Oase van rust tegenover een van de ingangen van de opgravingen. Wij hadden de minisuite op de begane grond met 2 aparte slaapkamers en 2 balkons met uitzicht op de binnentuin (die deels wat lager ligt dan de suite). Perfect voor een gezin met een tiener. Parkeren 50m aan de overkant op openbaar, beveiligd terrein. Je kunt tijdelijk op de binnenplaats parkeren om je bagage in of uit te laden en het parkeerpasje op te halen. Heerlijke bedden en kussens. Airco werkt prima. Uitstekend restaurant in heerlijke binnentuin.

Ontbijt is niet in verhouding tot de rest van het hotel. Personeel dat 45 minuten voor tijd alvast de kaartjes weghaalt en opruimt, kan echt niet voor deze prijs. De achtergrondmuziek in de binnentuin, die al om 8 uur 's ochtends aangaat en je op het balkon hoort (niet in de kamers, die zijn goed geïsoleerd). Uitzicht vanaf het balkon op de binnentuin is niet bijzonder.

This is a four star hotel, but with five star service. It is located immediately opposite the entrance to the ruins.

The food in the restaurant was generally excellent, but the steak was a bit underwhelming. Better sticking to pizza/pasta.

First of all, apologies for the late review of this excellent hotel. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Forum Pompei from 20th May for 7 nights and completely enjoyed the experience. The hotel was spotless and all the staff were totally friendly and professional. They were a credit to the hotel. We stayed in a junior suite room 21 which had a balcony overlooking the gardens. After hot days exploring the town and the famous excavations, we enjoyed relaxing amongst the lovely lemon trees. We ate in the outside restaurant many times and once again, the staff were wonderfully kind and considerate. Finally the breakfasts in the dining room were superb. To sum up, this is a lovely hotel, run by wonderful staff in a great location for the excavations and for the town. If we return to Pompeii, this will be the hotel for us.

Struttura curata e molto gradevole. Staff eccellente, cordiale e disponibile, camera perfetta per la bisogna, posizione super strategica, colazione assolutamente in linea (migliorabile l' offerta gluten free....sono celìaco). Un plauso particolare alla cordialità e attenzione di Tutto lo Staff. Consigliatissimo.

L'hotel è davanti all'ingresso degli scavi di Pompei. Ottima colazione e parcheggio a 50 metri. Conoscevo già l'hotel e sono tornata volentieri, anche per il bellissimo giardino che è veramente un'oasi tra le case. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile

Il mobilio datato, la presenza di una vasca molto scomoda, avremmo gradito la doccia, e le tende oscuranti che lasciano passare lateralmente molta luce.

La colazione di altissima qualità tutti i prodotti dalle torte fatte in casa alla spremuta d'arancio. La sala breakfast si affaccia su un giardino . Molto piacevole. Le stanze insonorizzate perfettamente

Lovely hotel in a great location to see pompei ruins. Breakfast was adequate. Lovely garden restaurant but we didn’t have time to partake in it.

L'hotel ha una posizione davvero perfetta per visitare gli scavi e visitare il centro storico: tutto comodissimo. Un encomio speciale al personale gentilissimo ed attento a ogni nostra esigenza. Abbiamo cenato nel loro ristorante (ottimo!) immerso in un agrumeto davvero degno di nota. Avere infine il parcheggio incluso di fronte all'ingresso dell'hotel, onestamente non ha davvero prezzo! Grazie di tutto!

Very quiet , nice garden area with lovely lemon trees. Luigi runs a good restaurant with delicious food all day and night. It is perfect for spending as much time at the pompei scavi as you like and then having a great place to stay 5 stars

Very friendly staff

This hotel is directly across the road from the site of the Pompei excavations. It is the second time we have stayed here and will definitely return. The rooms are beautiful, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Our daughter got an upgrade for which we are very grateful. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and dinner in the hotel was great. We also had lunch in the hotel garden and eating underneath the lemon trees in the sunshine was a real treat. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We're looking forward to returning to explore more of Pompei and will definitely stay here.

Perfect location for exploring the ruins of Pompei. The citrus garden and restaurant were excellent, one of the nicest areas of its kind for this price level. The bed was one of the more comfortable ones we’ve had in similar priced hotels of Europe. Cold AC in our room. Breakfast was also well appointed.

The property is undergoing renovations (I assume). Our party had two rooms. One room was an updated room with newer fixtures and bathroom….but smelled as If someone had smoked heavily in the room and then attempted to mask the smell. The other room was clean and did not have a smell, but was very old with broken closet door, rusty shower/tub and an odd shower area inside a raised tub and crooked shower head. The rooms we booked were the same so it will be a gamble in which type you get if booked.

The Hotel Forum has a great location across the street from an entrance to the ruins. The hotel is impeccably clean and the garden restaurant was a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. The wait staff there were so kind. The breakfast was also a perfect start to our day! Thank you!

La location è insuperabile per visitare gli scavi ed è davvero in pieno centro. Lo staff estremamente gentile ed attento. Agrumeto che accoglie con discrezione gli ospiti, molto gradevole. Cena buona, tenere di conto prezzi medio/alti. Parcheggio incluso praticissimo, a due passi. Unico neo: la nostra stanza era un po' datata, suppellettili e stanza da bagno. Pulizia ok, ma arredi da rinnovare. Comunque, consigliato.

This hotel is just perfect. Location is very central. The gardens are amazing and you can just sit within beautiful lemon trees having a drink or dome dinner. The staff are just great, helpful and speak perfect English. Five minute walk to Pompei ruins. Food very tasty. Rooms spotless. We would definately visit again.

Location, ambiance, hospitality, comfort of the room and food. Very centrally located, being able to get outside on the property with all of the fruit trees was really enjoyable and refreshing. The staff was amazing and welcoming. You can walk across the street to the Ruins or you can walk a block or two down and get the bus up to Mount Vesuvius. Great all around.

We really didn’t have anything that we didn’t like about the property.

Het hotel heeft een super goeie ligging.. Personeel uiterst vriendelijk en het eten is er voortreffelijk lekker.. De binnentuin is echt top om te genieten.

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, da sie direkt bei einem der Eingänge der Ausgrabungen sind. Das Frühstück ist im Keller in einem sehr schönen Raum. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse recht viel.

Excellent location and friendly staff, and after a long day of visiting archeological sites it was so relaxing to sit and relax with a drink in the lemon grove.

We really loved our stay here. The location for the ruins is genuinely amazing as it’s just over the road. The lemon garden was an absolute highlight and we loved sitting there in the afternoon. Our room was clean, modern and perfect for what we needed. Just to add - would strongly recommend going into the beautiful church off the square!

I'm so glad we chose this Hotel- after a busy day and before the next it was a haven to come back to and we felt very well looked after. The staff were very friendly and helpful . The room , bathroom and beds were luxurious and spotless. The restaurant served a brilliant breakfast with great choice and it was so relaxing eating breakfast preparing for the next day while being next to the garden with lemon trees and greenery. We also ate one night at the restaurant and regretted not coming for the other nights, as the food was of very high standard with fresh quality ingredients and it was bliss to savour the beautiful evening view of the peaceful garden. The location was the most convenient opposite the Ruins, a couple of minutes walk to the main square and Church, on a safe street and with bus stops nearby for venturing further. The Hotel also helped us book a taxi. We had a wonderful stay and want to return- thank you to everyone at the hotel. I did consider staying at some of the other B and Bs but am so glad we didn't- it was worth the bit extra to have this comfort and convenience and the staff care.

L'hôtel est effectivement très très bien situé pour visiter le site de Pompei... si vous ne partez pas en visite guidée (auquel cas il faut généralement se rendre à l'autre bout du site, à la Porta Marina - compter plus d'1 km)... Mais, pour le reste, nous avons été très déçus... A noter aussi dans les points positifs : la chambre triple était propre et spacieuse. Le petit-déjeuner était très bien et le monsieur au service aimable. Le parking à proximité est offert.

La chambre se trouvait au bout d'un dédale de couloirs, escaliers (malheureusement!), terrasse, rampe... dans une espèce d'annexe. Lorsque vous avez des bagages de longs séjours, c'est difficile. La chambre était vieillotte (meubles, électricité). La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. Elle faisait un bruit de soufflerie assez conséquent mais sans refroidissement. Bref, juste un gros ventilateur très bruyant qui n'a jamais aidé à rafraîchir cette chambre à 26° pour ce début mai - il faisait plus frais dans le hall!! C'était un critère de choix de cet hôtel, donc une déception... et un scandale compte tenu du prix. Pour le surplus : pas d'eau offerte, une douche à hauteur maximale de poitrine, dans un bain haut à enjamber et très glissant (mais on vous fournit un tapis anti-dérapant des années 80) dont l'eau s'échappe sous les parois non étanches, transformant le sol de la salle de bain en piscine. Un bidet qui fuit... Habituée des classements Booking, cet hôtel ne vaut certainement pas le prix demandé et ne mérite clairement pas une évaluation à 9! Tout au plus un 7,5 en ce qui me concerne...

Het hotel ligt perfect tegenover de ingang van de opgraving. Het is een mooi hotel en zeer sfeervol. Ook het eten is prima.

Bij ons bezoek aan de opgraving huurden we tegen betaling een audiotour. Later bleek dat die gratis is in Pompei. Jammer dat het hotel hier niet tegen waarschuwt.

It's very convenient located close to the Pompei ruins. It's a place to rest after a busy day of sight seeing. They serve very good espresso at the breakfast.

Bruit de roulettes très envahissant...valises, chariots ?...dès 7h du matin ,bruit porte chambres voisines, musique "de salon "dès 7h30 du matin jusqu'à la fermeture du restaurant nous parvenant dans notre chambre au dessus du restaurant.

Luigi was amazing and made my son's stay. All the staff were fantastic and the location couldn't be better.
