La cucina e la zona comune erano parecchio sporche. Spesso capitava che alla mattina la cucina fosse ancora piena delle pentole sporche della sera prima e quindi per poter farmi la colazione ero costretto a pulire le pentole sporcate da altri.

Die Lage war sehr gut. Schöne Balkon. Unser Bad im zweiten Stock war super.

Molto accogliente, pulita, vicinissimo al mare e tutto lo staff è stato molto amichevole e disponibile

Sometimes it gets a little hot on the top floor at night, you have to open the door to the room. Not critical

It's a very hippie hostel, run by volunteers, very near to the coast, like 15 min on foot. The zone is quiet , and you can also park around. Near restaurants and surf shops. The hostel was very clean and comfortable.The manager was very kind and cheerful!

The Yoga classes are only included during the week. But since I came just for the weekend, the yoga teacher offered 2 extra yoga class also for the weekend. Very kind of her!

The staff and volunteers were very friendly, and the location was great.

Cleanliness was poor. Many areas were quite dirty. We had agreed on our check-in time in advance, but when we arrived, there was no staff no reception. After waiting for around 30 minutes, we finally found a staff in another building.

I like the vibe and the place of property as it was soo close to the beach and surf school. And the manager Claudia was sooo niice and gave me comfort and warm atmosphere during the stay 🥰

- lovely house with big kitchen, living room and backyard as well as private balcony - superb location right in walkable distance to the supermarket, the cafes, surf rentals and the surf spots

- we were the only guests for the first days but since the house owner has 2 other houses in the same street which he rents out and is mostly run by volunteers, there were always new people running around and using the kitchen, bathrooms etc (mostly volunteers) - I get that it’s a communal living vibe but it was hard to relax since the house is poorly soundproofed and due to the fact that maybe 10-15 volunteers in the street used the house as well, there was a good amount of noise throughout our stay

Close to Baleal, quiet by not being on the Main Street.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pans to cook with were really outdated. The gas stove sucks, as often times it seemed impossible to keep lit or to change the burner to a low temperature. There’s a lot of volunteers. I got a long with them but because there are so many, you get the feeling that there are more volunteers than other guests. Just seemed like if there were less of them, the place would feel more relaxed because then less people are consistently coming through. Everyday I met someone, it was almost always a new volunteer or one from another house. All good people, but just too many. I found a different hostel, for less money that had non stick pans, an extremely comfy bed, a phenomenal breakfast included, unlimited coffee, super relaxing spaces (living room, and back patio) and a very welcoming host for castaway*s like myself in Ferrell. The comparison is insane!

Location is perfect, loved the vibe. Staff is very friendly.

Não tinha chave privativa do quarto, a casa tinha coisas de outras pessoas espalhadas e desarrumadas por todo o lado, não havia nada a informar no ato da reserva de que era um espaço partilhado, eu cancelei a reserva ao deparar me com esta situação e ainda fiquei sem o dinheiro mesmo sem usufruir do serviço

Las chicas que te recibian muy amigables. La habitación con terraza nos gustó.

Había humedad en la pared que daba al baño y olía. Se lo dijimos a la encargada pero no vino nadie a verlo. El baño que compartíamos del primer piso le faltaban las bombillas de encima del lavabo, una luz triste de techo.

The location is great - walking distance to surf and restaurants, the space in the room we stayed in was good and had a private balcony and the common areas were generally clean. A couple of strange things - for somewhere that is a "shared house"/hostel type the people who work/"hosts" were very unfriendly, there were 2 females who wouldn't even acknowledge us during our stay (walking into the kitchen and wouldn't even make eye contact or make conversation - mind you I commented on their food looking/smelling good and they didn't even respond). However, I will say there were 2 men who were likely higher management or owners who were very nice and offered to get our bedding and towels changed. The other strange thing is there was a boy who was sleeping on the couch every night, like he wasn't officially staying in a room there, but was just sleeping in the common area couch - strange and as someone who is paying to stay, didn't really love that.

We stayed at Baleal GuestHouse mainly to experience surfing — and it was totally the right choice! Although we didn't meet the owners in person, everything was arranged smoothly through Booking, and another guest kindly gave us the keys when we arrived. The place has a super relaxed and youthful atmosphere, perfect if you're into surf culture. We also highly recommend Alex Surf School – the instructors were really friendly, supportive, and made us feel totally at ease in the water. If you're looking for a laid-back place with great surf energy, this is it!

I wish there’s more hanger in the room to dry the towel and clothes. Also, maybe extension plugs for the traveller cuz it wasn’t enough in the room. Maybe heater as well as it was getting quite cold in the top floor

it can get damp cause of the humidity, but there's only so much you can do when you're next to the sea. just thought i'd warn whoever's staying, although it didn't really bother me- there's a drying rack downstairs anyways

A nice location 👌 not only for surfing. Just come and enjoy the beautiful ocean in any season. Recommend this accommodation for relaxing.

Great location, only a short walk to the beach and to see beautiful sunsets as well as sunrises. The staff and also other guests were very nice and fun to be around. Spacious and comfortable rooms, very clean and you’ll find everything you need in the kitchen already there!

Perfect location for surf and close by to cafes and supermarket. It was my second stay and I’ll be back. Super comfortable and it feels like home.

Comfortable clean room and a view to the sea. Everything was well organized for surfers to make the most of the experience. Shared spaces were kept clean by volunteers and guests, and allowed for meeting other guests which was a nice experience.
