Lovely place every thing was there lovely wee pub with entertainment and great pool at ballyliffen lodge and spa free to use if staying at accommodation also had a lovely meal

The room is spacious and bathroom is nice big one.

We got bug bites, me and my husband both had it on our bed whereas my kids bed (2nd bed ) they haven’t got bitten. This room is on top of a pub so the sound was penetrating From downstairs. There was one more room attached to our room and I was scared if someone will come out of that room as the light was on for sometime and later it turned off.

Very clean. Small rooms but ok for a couple of nights. Lovely bathroom with nice towels and shower gel/ shampoo etc. Air con was great.

Only 1 set of keys given. And 4 of us in the room. Beds were really hard. And really high!

Well located above a pub in the centre of town. Beds were very comfy and the room was of a good size and the bed was very comfy. Lovely and clean.

We were slightly worried about rooms above a bar but our room was quiet, clean, spacious and air conditioned. We had a lovely comfortable night to start our Wild Atlantic Way adventures.

The use of the spa at the sister property was a nice treat!

It only has 8 rooms so is relatively quiet. So near pubs and restsurants/take aways. No food served in pub but they allow you to bring food onto premises.

They dont do breakfast so it's only bed. Very young crowd in pub. No food served..

Great location. Room exceptionally clean and spacious. Easy to check in. Is bar downstairs. Tea and coffee facilities in room and lovely shower and access to Netflix on smart tv. Perfect for one night and would recommend and return.

Steps narrow going to room so anyone with mobility challenges may find them uncomfortable. Other than that would highly recommend. The accommodation is over a bar and was a little loud for a short while but didn’t bother me. It was a Friday night after all and I knew the accommodation was over a bar when I booked it.

A great stay we had a Joyce’s. So central to everything parked the car outside. Staff very friendly and met the cleaning staff the following day they were just lovely very friendly girls.

The room was clean and spacious with everything you need for an overnight stay. We had a great experience and would love to stay again sometime.

The room was clean bathroom great, nice view of the hills. We were at the back and pretty quiet .

Being both in mid 70's wer were left at bottom of a very high flight of stairs, here's the key for this door this is key forthat door. After carrying our bags up fiddling keys not told to put the fob in for electricity. In the room we waited for kettle to boil now after 5mins nothing happening I went all way down the stairs to get a new kettle. Only to discover no electricity and then saw the compartment for key fob near the door. If the young man had done his job right in 1st place this would never have happened. But he ditched us at the door outside on the street 🙄 and went back to the bar. Another observation we had was that the towels were on top of the wardrobe after searching for them and asking for some. Great place would be the bathroom, plenty of room for nice shelves in that bathroom, no hooks either for hanging up ur things or towels. Just a suggestion. Thank you . Had a drink in your bar young man with glasses was very helpful more so than the 1 on Sunday evening at 6.30.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The biggest issue was that there was a large festival taking place literally outside our window. We were never informed about this when booking our stay. The music was incredibly loud and the event continued until around 4:00 a.m., making it impossible to get any sleep. To make matters worse, at 7:00 a.m. the clean-up started, with staff using a petrol-powered leaf blower directly outside the hotel, creating even more noise after a sleepless night. When I asked to speak with the hotel manager to discuss the situation, I was simply told that the manager was “busy” and unavailable. I also sent emails to the hotel regarding this issue, but they never responded. The lack of communication before our arrival, the poor handling of our complaint, and the complete absence of customer service made this a very frustrating experience. Had we been informed about the festival in advance, we would have chosen different accommodation. I cannot recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

The accommodation and bedrooms are very modern with hotel fixtures and fittings. The addition of air conditioning was very much appreciated and a real bonus. The location above a pub on the main street was very convenient.

My main issue was the misleading listing and photos on Booking.com Web page. It appears that there is a swimming pool with this accommodation as it is visible on the first group of photos. I am thankful that I read through Q&A's before arrival as we could have arrived, not knowing about the pool situation. The pool photo should have had text over top of it explaining that it was located in a sister hotel 15 minutes drive away (Ballyliffin Lodge) We were able to drive and use the Ballyliffin Lodge pool, and it was lovely. Again, it was the misleading listing photos that was my issue and not the accommodation. The nightly rate was very reasonable for Room Only and hotel comforts. The butterbean cafe next door was amazing for breakfast and dinner.

Everything about this place is beautiful.

Booked this last minute during the heatwave so we could enjoy the Donegal beaches. It's a perfect spot for exploring, located right in the middle of Carndonagh which is a lovely town. The rooms were modern, spotless and well equipped, the beds were comfortable and there was air-conditioning - couldn't ask for more than that! Joyces bar is below and we didn't have any issues with noise. The bar doesn't serve food but we had breakfast in The Corner Cafe which was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time - highly recommend!

No breakfast included within our booking. Location was great and staff where very pleasant and helpful.

Outside of the control of the staff, the room next to me came in around 1:30am (Probably been partying). They had their TV very loud and they where also very loud until around 3am.

We always love coming to stay at Joyces. Staff are always so welcoming and provide a great community atmoshphere within the building. It is always an amazing stay every time without fail and the rooms are always top quality standard.Will definitely be back very soon

Sehr schönes und großes Familienzimmer. Komfortabel und geräumig.

Es war sehr laut und leider ist die Kommunikation nicht ganz so gut gelaufen. Wir Checkten aus, ließen wie gewünscht den Schlüssel im Briefkasten. Jedoch viel uns auf das unser Sohn seine Apple AirPods liegen gelassen hat. Ich kam nicht mehr an den Schlüssel ran, und bis heute hat niemand auf meine Anfragen geantwortet. Ich habe meine Daten in der Bar am Nachmittag hinterlegt, jedoch nicht mehr gehört. Sehr sehr schade …

We have family in donegal and always stay in Joyce's. It's great value, lovely helpful staff, clean and beds are so comfy, and the shower is amazing.
