Reviewed Aug 18, 2026We spent 4 wonderful days in this beautiful house. It is very near the beautiful Culdaff beach and about 5 minutes by car to the town of Carndonagh

Reviewed Oct 18, 2025The house and area / view were nice however there were serious issues with the electricity. Sporadic tripping / power issues causing no WiFi and power to certain rooms on 2 of our 4 nights. Landlord was supposed to send electrician and didn’t and refuses to accept there was a serious issue during our stay. Feel like he was calling me a liar.
See above serious issues with power and tripping. Landlord attitude very poor, his responses were that there was nothing wrong. We had family at the property on both occasions and have many witnesses to the extreme issues we had. Very disappointing response and doesn’t accept there was an issue.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025House was perfectly situated as a base for us to explore the area. Lots of space, nice and modern and clean. All the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, and the living room and kitchen were exactly what we needed. Would highly recommend and we would certainly stay again.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2024The location was very good it was quiet and peaceful. Not too far from the town and restaurants and shops.The view ftom the House was really nice. The house was very well equipped and very clean and comfortable.
The only thing there was only one bathroom .I think a second toilet and shower room would really benefit this property. Everything else about the house was perfect.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2024Just back from a lovely 4 night stay at Hollymount House. Perfect base for exploring Donegal and Northern Ireland. Very quiet location with a great view. Lovely beaches close by. A few minutes drive from the town center. The house is very well equipped and has everything you need for your stay. We definitely will be back.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2024We loved our stay in Hollymount house Carndonagh. The house was lovely, spacious, clean, and had all the amenities listed in the description. The location of the house was perfect too with a lovely view from the front. Restaurants and grocery stores are 4 mins drive away. Malin head is just 27 mins drive from here. Smooth check-in and check-out.
