Unser Zimmer war direkt beim Eingang im 1. Stock. Power Nap am Nachmittag war nicht möglich, da dauernd jemand ein- und ausging und die Tür zuschlug. Spät am Abend kamen Gäste retour und waren sehr laut (schreien und Lachen) und haben ebenfalls die Türen zugeschlagen. Ein Schlafen vor 2.00 Uhr war nicht möglich. Alles sehr ringhörig. Staub und Dreck auf Kühlschrank/Microwelle war schade, da es so offensichtlich war. Kein Aufenthaltsraum vorhanden und nur eine Toilette mit Douche für ca. 6 Zimmer. Es war kein erholsamer Aufenthalt und wir waren froh, weiterziehen zu können.

Smells weed on the corridor, rusty on the stairs outside. Beds I was not sure if the bed had clean sheets or was just not ironed. Shower box and toilet small cubicle, if you're are a bit above the weight, will be difficult to have a shower there, and dirty. There's no reception, we booked 2 Bedrooms, only one was available and ready, fortunately they managed to arrange another bedroom.

Decor is beginning to look a little bit tired. Window within the bedroom was a broken. Little grubby around the doors, handle and lock were temperamental too.

We loved the position of the Marina. Very convenient. It represented excellent value for money. The staff greeted us warmly each day and offered to help each day.

This is knit picking because the room was very, very good. A shelf or table by the bed would be wonderful. The existing shelf looks good but isn’t practical. Also somewhere accessible to store suitcases.

The location was great, on harbour with parking and the pubs / restaurants beside were really good. Walk to the beach was great.

It was a wee bit warm, a fan would be good as want windows closed as on the road.

Location was excellent only because we could not get suitable accommodation in AYR where we were attending the annual Scottish bowls championship. The amount of information in brochures was also very helpful.

We are in our 80s and after arriving when it was getting dark, we had difficulty seeing the details on the entry system.

The WiFi would not connect

Ideal location, facilities within room good, mini fridge, kettle and. Microwave. Main bedroom was fine, although mattress not very comfortable.

Second room was for 2 children - single bed fine, but the trundle bed was not set up and the legs broken on meant 16 year old son sleeping on bed almost on floor. Disappointing from sleeping facilities. Toilet and shower are extremely small and tight space to manoeuvre around.

Was a good sized room, bright and clean. Towels were supplied, was pleasantly surprised to find a fridge and microwave within the room so if you need to have a quick bite the facilities are there.

The location is quiet and great, close to the seaside and I really like the marine style!. I booked really spontaneously, and was worried if it's not suitable for a lil kid, but it all worked out well(she's 2,5 y). We managed to climb the steep staircase and sleep in a adult bed with no accidents 😅

Few things in a room could be cleaner, like bed wear and cups:) About the staircase, as a mom, I suggest it get fixed in one spot and the gaps in the fencing are tighter and safe for the lil ones, just in case!:)

The housekeeping staff really looked after us. We were only staying 5 nights but they were keen to make sure we had everything we needed every day. Location very good

Comfortable, clean room. Self check in easy due to owners sending in depth text message on the day. Great location, very quiet and easy to find somewhere to eat both evening meal and breakfast.

Little disappointed to find bathroom was not en suite. Would have made alternative arrangements had I known. Private bathroom is not a good description as the next hotel said the same and it was en suite!

Nothing to not like, I’ve stayed before so knew what to expect however I stayed in a different room this time ( room 8 ) and just some little fix’s needed ( I’m autistic and I fixed on sounds ) The left tap is constantly dripping The room door is very stiff and hard to open and close

The door jammed- needs to have the bottom shaved to get over the carpet. The walls aren't soundproof, so other guests don't need to be very loud to be able to hear their conversations.

we took the boat the next day to Aran, just a 20 minute taxi drive to the harbour. contact person generously took the trouble to send me my the headphones that I left in the room. The room is quiet, spacious. just 50 meters from the hotel was a lovely breakfast place. all perfect!

In einem der gemieteten Zimmer funktionierte die Dusche nicht. Die Heizung ging nicht, obwohl es sehr kühl war. Auf Nachfrage per SMS gab es keine Antwort.

The bed was comfortable and clean.

The sink was tiny could not wash your face a shave, the shower was very bad small and the water came out very slow.

Pleasant room in a great location. Microwave & fridge was a nice touch & a great extra. The bed was comfortable & first impressions that it was clean & tidy. Room noise was minimal & over 2 nights of my stay other guests were quiet & respectful.

First night there was no hot water but shower worked! Shower tray was dirty & one wall had something smeared on it. I cleaned it removing long black hairs. I am a male with cropped hair so they weren't mine. Following day hot water was back on & the radiators worked. The morning I left - no hot water again! Noticed long hairs amongst my bedding. Not good! They obviously weren't mine. This obviously spoiled my whole experience. You have to do better. Really good room in great place let down by the cleanliness so my scores reflect that.

Not a problem but could have done with an extra shelf. Only flat space was taken up by the hospitality tray. Maybe shelves next to the bed could have slightly bigger. Shower cubicle could have been a lot bigger as the bathroom was pretty spacious.

The location is amazing and the room itself is really good. Self check in went smooth. Parking available in front of the property. Beach is close by.

Bathroom was very small, hardly move, didn't had hot water in the shower in the morning but had it in the afternoon. Cleanliness could've been a bit better while the sheets and bathroom where clean there where a lot of spiderwebs on ceiling and dust on the ridges.

I've stayed here multiple times, never been disappointed. Great location, gorgeous rooms, always clean and the decor is cute. Beds are very comfortable.

The noise can be irritating outside but this isn't a fault of the hotel or staff it's just because of those on the street being loud when coming back from the beach or pub.

Das Marina View Guest House ist sehr schön gelegen. Des Check-In hat einfach und gut geklappt.

Wir haben die ganze Nacht durch gefroren. Es war eiskalt. Der Radiator konnte nicht eingeschaltet werden, da die Heizung aus war. Ein Erholung war das nicht. Gut, dass wir nur eine Nacht dort waren.

No table 😭😭. There’s microwave and fridge for eating stuff but gutted no table. We asked if there’s any portable/foldable table they said none. We have to use the window sill instead. Never been to any hotel or b+b without a table. I brought my work stuff with me but couldn’t do it. Door was too heavy and it’s a disable room. Staff are lovely though and able to get us a spare duvet. But pls have at least a folding table.

Very nice clean and comfortable accommodation. The location was nice on the harbour with a few eating establishments and the local town close by. The beach was nice and very long. It was nice that there was a microwave, fridge and kettle which is great if you don't want to go out.

It was very noisy at times as the walls were thin so other guests could be heard as they moved around.

The immetiate impression of the room. The finish of the room linen, colour and decor, immediately impresses that care and detail have gone into making a beautiful place to stay.

No parking for motorcycles. Troublesome teenagers were climbing on our motorbikes whilst parked on the road. Had to shout to tell them to get off the bikes. We were told we had to park the motorbikes outside the front of the property and the driveway was just for electric vehicles. There was space round the back of the property to wheel your our bikes into, which would have been much more acceptable and safer for our bikes. This caused us some stress. The springs on the doors are very strong making entry with baggage difficult and we got woken up at 5am by someone else who was staying in the property leaving very early with little regard for anyone else being asleep. The railings on the stairs up to the first floor could do with some TLC. There was damage to our sink when we arrived.
