Fantastic amenities, very clean. Very pleased to have sackets of oat milk.

Room was a little noisy but nothing bad, we are both just very light sleepers. Would have loved the option of a late checkout especially on a Sunday

Great facilities including fridge and microwave. We had very peaceful garden views, easy parking, well located for beach, cafes, train station.

Photos on web were not of this place. It wasn't a 4 star hotel, it was a self service room with microwave and no staff or restaurant. Photos depicted it with animal style towels and completely different facade. Returned home immediately and got full refund.

We had a Delux and Budget Double room, and they were both of a good standard. The only staff that we had contact with was a cleaner and a Decorator, they were both very polite and helpful.

This is second time we have stayed at this hotel. Easily negotiated website. Easy payment. Good clean and safe accommodation. Good shower. Good bed linen. Comfortable bed. Will be a returning customer.

Room was so small for to people couldn’t move around no space to move around couldn’t get a space to put my shoes it was that bad hit my head of the wall a few times shouldn’t be advised as a room and a have stayed in a lot of places

I thought we would have breakfast there, however there a lovely restaurant we used a few doors along.

Great little place to stay. Room had everything you could need. Extra provisions in lobby in case you needed more. Very nice little touches. Clean towels ect every day of our stay. Excellent bars and restaurants nearby. Station very close (but no train noise).

I didn't receive the check in email so had to call the number on the door but he was very helpful and had us sorted in minutes.

I really can’t understand why this is called an hotel. No reception, no bar, no restaurant, no face to face contact. No hotel facilities.The access was difficult. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

The room was perfect for me and my daughter and having a fridge was so handy to store things. We will stay again for sure.

They cancelled our bh weekend stay on the day of arrival due to their selective pet friendly policy. Even though I sent in the booking message and with the registration form that we will be traveling with a dog, and they advertise as a pet friendly place, and as such they appear in search engine of Booking, they decided to call us a few hours prior to our arrival to tell us they won't host us, and absolutely ruined our mood and the weekend.

Very nice and spacious room that was fitted out well, even with a microwave. Check in was easy albeit all remote. I was very comfortable in my room.

The location is in a busy and somewhat noisy thoroughfare with groups of young people very noisily walking through until late. Hard to keep the windows open for air.

Great location for myself and my 2 young kids. Beach 5 mins walk, ice cream next door and shops 3 mins walk. Lovely super clean bed linen and towels, lovely soap and shampoo. Fridge and freezer box and fan during a heatwave were great. Very quiet and comfy beds. Obviously not the Ritz, it's a budget hotel but the price reflects that. Couldn't ask for more for a night away visiting family nearby. Vanilla Joe's ice cream was fab!! Got parked on street right outside.

Property very nice and clean and convenient for the area.

No receptionist and it's titled 'Hotel'. We asked for a ground floor room as we have an elderly Labrador dog with us. We were given a top floor room, which meant 34 stairs and 6 doors to access it. Having stated our preference and reasons in the booking, it would have been helpful to be told about the stairs and given the chance to rebook somewhere else.

Easy check-in. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped.

The location is only a 10 minute walk to the beach, a two minute walk to the train station and a 5 minute walk to the shops, the room was a good size, the bed was nice and comfy.

bed was not very comfy, the heating did not work and we could not get the oil heater going.

Beds were really really comfortable and the room was very spacious

you needed a key to lock the door from inside, which meant that if one person was out then the other had to stay awake to let them in or you had to leave the door unlocked. There should really be thumb lock on the inside

The bedroom and shower room were very spacious.there was a King size bed also a fridge and a microwave which was much appreciated and a flat screen TV.modern decor . staff friendly and unobtrusive.excellent location.

The bedroom was on the 2nd floor which because of my level of fitness wasn't so good for me But it did offer a level of privacy which I appreciated.

Didn’t receive entry instructions. None of the posted phone numbers worked on WhatsApp. Finally found a number on Facebook. No instructions on how to lock the door or run the hot water in the shower.

Heating only on for 1 hour in the morning and night, radiator did not fully heat and radiator in bathroom did not come on at all. Draft came in from the window which made the room cold and never fully heated up. Was offered a small oil heater which was just not good enough. Guest in next room snored all night sounded like he was in the room with us so didn't get much sleep both nights. Floor was uneven and a bit dangerous

I know it was a budget hotel bit I did not like the idea of no staff no restaurant and no bar. The room was absolutely freezing the shower was cold and although someone popped in and sorted the TV, we originally dud not have the TV was so so disappointed

Note my scoring is based on value for money, it's by no means a 5 star hotel its like a BnB with out the break fast, about 100 meters down the road there is a great Roll shop for breakfastor lunch highly recommend.. Its clean and has a comfortable bed there is a small fridge and a microwave, iron kettle and the makings for tea and coffee. Location was spot on near the train station and town 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of parking on the street never gad any issue finding one. Nice little ice cream 🍦 next door friendly staff there. Close to the water and maritime museum, never went to that though. Its check yourself in and out type of place which I really like met 2 of the staff, lovely Scotish lady ( great accent) and a guy doing maintenance both really friendly. Had really great weather

Room was a bit two warm ,but soon sorted that out by turn off the heating and opening window.

Returned here for another weekend visit and was brilliant again . Easy check in and out
