Bardzo duży pokój. Gospodarze bardzo mili i uczynni. Pani gospodyni odwiozła nas na dworzec w dniu wyjazdu. Łazienka czysta. Jeżeli chce ktoś poczuć klimat Japoni to polecam. Gospodarze polecili nam kawiarnię Kodachi Cafe. To był strzał w 10. Polecam z całego serca.

Very nice staff. Clean and spacious traditional facilities. Able to see Mt. Fuji from your room window (I had the pleasure to do so for only about an hour right after arrival, then it was cloudy for the rest of the stay). Location is great as long as you don't mind walking or waiting for the Saiko Sightseeing Bus to get to interesting places.

Lovely place and location, next to Lake Kawaguchiko. We Love the Mt. Fuji View Attentive host, he gave us free transport with all our luggages.

C’est vraiment une superbe adresse, il faut ne pas hésiter avec eux . Vous êtes plongé dans une vraie maison d’habitation japonaise d’aujourd’hui mais avec beaucoup de traditions. Chambre propre et bien préparée : tatami au sol table basse et nous avons eu la chance d’avoir eu la grande chambre pour trois personnes avec balcon en face du Mant Fuji. La dame et le monsieur sont très charmant et vraiment très arrangeant. Ils avaient accepté qu’on dépose nos affaires dès le matin avant le check In afin qu’on puisse ne pas perdre notre temps et de profiter de la journée. Ils nous ont loué des vélos électriques pour 250 ¥ de l’heure. La salle de bain est une expérience japonaise. Le lendemain matin nous devions être à 7h10 à la station du bus et c’est eux-mêmes qui nous ont déposé sur place alors qu’on avait demandé de nous commander un taxi..

Attention, ils ne parlent quasiment pas anglais surtout la dame (ayez une connexion Internet pour communiquer via Google translate). Je recommande totalement cette expérience.

Grande chambre pour 3. Thé et bouilloire à disposition. Possibilité de garer la voiture dans la cour de la maison. Propriétaire sur place, agréable et serviable Possibilité de louer des vélos électriques au propriétaire pour aller se balader. A savoir : lavabo et toilettes à l'étage des chambres mais salle de bain au rez de chaussée. Tout est propre.

Peut être un peu excentré des commodités si l'on n'a pas de voiture mais propriétaire dispo et vélos électriques en location. Pas de micro ondes disponible si l'on souhaite se faire réchauffer un repas.

Tot ha estat perfecte, la casa era tradicional japonesa i molt maca i confortable. El Hitomi ha estat atent a les nostres necessitats i ens ha portat fins l'estació.

Excelente servicio y amabilidad. La bienvenida y explicación de las instalaciones fue excelente. La ubicación es ideal para quien quiera un poco más de tranquilidad, hay buena conexión de líneas de autobus o también caminando. Muy lindas vistas, nos sentimos privilegiados de estar allí. Volveríamos otra vez, gracias!

Une pension familiale agréable, située à deux pas du lac Kawaguchiko et à 15 minutes en bus de Kawaguchiko station.

Il n'est pas autorisé de manger dans la chambre. Il n'y a pas d'endroit collectif pour partager un repas dans l'habitation.

Très bon accueil et emplacement, dommage qu'il n'y a pas de proposition de petit déjeuner.

Como eu prefiro cama, dormir no tatame não é muito confortável, mas fiquei apenas uma noite, então a experiência foi ótima!!! O anfitrião é super atencioso e gentil!!! A localização é excelente!!! Bem cedinho fazer uma caminhada e apreciar o 🗻 não tem preço!!! E possui vaga de estacionamento gratuito!!!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but please note the following: There was only one bathroom for all the guests but tbh this wasn’t an issue as it was generally free when needed. This is traditional Japanese house so be prepared for thin walls

Tradycyjny, japoński dom! Maty tatami, przesuwane drzwi, tradycyjny futon! Rewelacja. Pokój, który dostałem, był duży, dość komfortowy (o ile komuś nie przeszkadza siedzenie na podłodze), całkiem niezły widok na Fuji. W pokoju był telewizor (z którego jednak nie korzystałem podczas mojego 3-dniowego pobytu), czajnik elektryczny, dwa gniazdka i klimatyzacja (której też nie używałem, wolałem otworzyć okno). A, no i miałem balkon! I to tyle jeśli chodzi o wyposażenie. Będąc już kilka dni w Japonii i ciągle walcząc z jet-lagiem, tutaj nareszcie porządnie się wyspałem. Cisza i spokój. Miasteczko jest świetnym punktem wypadowym na Fuji, wystarczy około godzinna wycieczka autobusem na Subaru Line 5th station, skąd wchodzi się na szlak Yoshida.

Dom oddalony spory kawałek od centrum, czyli wszędzie daleko. Z drugiej strony dzięki temu w okolicy jest cicho. Łazienka w korytarzu, kuchni brak. Na korytarzu znalazłem lodówkę i mikrofalę, o których właściciel chyba zapomniał wspomnieć. A może to celowo, bo bardzo zachwalał pewne restauracje na mieście... Prysznic na parterze, w innym budynku, więc idąc tam na chwilkę trzeba było wyjść na zewnątrz.

The location is walkable to many great restaurants and Lake Kawaguchiko. The surrounding area is peaceful and quaint. The property is well maintained and very clean. I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Hitomi-san is a wonderful host. On my check out date, without me even asking, he offered me a ride to the train/bus station. It saved me a lot of walking with all my luggage. His kindness and hospitality is very much appreciated!

Nothing! I wish I could’ve stayed longer and I will choose this place the next time I am in the Fuji area.

La chambre traditionnelle était spacieuse, très propre, avec une vue imprenable sur le Mont Fuji depuis le balcon. La salle de bain avec le bain chaud était très agréable. L'hôte était très aimable. Je recommande.

The host was really friendly, even though he did not speak english fluently he made himself understood. The room was big enough, the bed was fine, the bathroom was clean and the house was cozy. We rented electric bikes 250 yen per hour, really useful for exploring the town and the places around the lake.

It is a little far from the station, about 20 minutes walk, fortunately the host offered to give us a ride to the station when we were living.

Le quartier très calme et un super resto recommandé par nos hôtes est a 5min a pied. Ils proposent de nous deposer en voiture a la gare au retour ce qui est très arrangeant. La salle de bain est spacieuse et typique, avec un bain chaud a partager entre tous les invités. Velos elec a louer.

Les futons sont un peu mous, pas très confortables si vous aimez le ferme.

I loved staying at the traditional Japanese room, and how can you possibly beat having a direct view of Mt Fuji from your bedroom window? I had a very pleasant stay here. I recommend renting the e-bike and riding around the lake - the host gave me a quick lesson on local traffic rules, which definitely came in handy.

The host was very kind and helpful during check in. The room and beds were quite cozy! It is relatively far from Kawaguchiko Station (30 min) but very close to a fantastic park with a great view of Mt Fuji. The host was kind enough to drive us to the station after check out.

I love that the place is very traditional Japanese. If you want to experience the Japanese culture, this is the place for you. There is one room that you can enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji. I would recommend you to book the room in advance. However, it might not be convenient like a hotel, but it’s quite acceptable. The staff are very welcome and informative about the tourist attraction nearby the accommodation.

We had an amazing stay with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji, very comfortable beds, and everything was perfectly clean. The staff was incredibly kind and went above and beyond by even driving us to the station with our luggage, which we truly appreciated since taxis are very limited in the area. There are also several great restaurants within walking distance, and a 7-Eleven is just an 8-minute walk away, which was very convenient.

Our stay at Habitacion NIIYA near Mount Fuji felt less like checking into an apartment and more like stepping into a small, thoughtful story written just for us. From the very beginning, we were welcomed by a lovely lady who took her time to walk us through everything—every detail of the apartment, the surroundings, and even little things we wouldn’t have thought to ask about. It immediately set the tone: this wasn’t just a place to stay, it was a place where people genuinely cared. On the other side, there was Hitomi, who quietly made everything else happen. From arranging bicycles to making sure we had what we needed, he was always one step ahead. When we mentioned our checkout time, he didn’t ask whether we needed a ride to the station—he simply said, “I will bring you.” That kind of effortless kindness stayed with us. The morning we left, the weather was perfect—clear skies and Mount Fuji standing proudly in full view. On the way to the station, Hitomi suddenly stopped the car so we could take photos. Again, something we hadn’t asked for, but something we will never forget. Before we left, I took a photo with this kind soul—a small memory of a truly special stay. The bathroom and toilet were shared, but everything was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. This place is more than just accommodation—it’s an experience shaped by genuine hospitality and small, meaningful gestures. For us, it’s a clear 10/10.

Friendly owner, showed me where the shared bathroom and showers are. Great view of Fuji-san from my room was very welcome and unexpected! Very kind and told me about some great local spots as well!

是完全日式的家庭民宿，楼上有四个房间，床铺非常舒服，空调很棒，主人非常细心地准备了我们需要的所有东西，并以便宜的价格租给我们电动自行车，这是游览河口湖最适宜的交通工具了。退房时老板开车送我们去火车站，非常感谢！浴室和卫生间是共用的，但并没有感觉不方便，如果你想体验日式的传统生活方式，这里很适合。

La hospitalidad y amabilidad del la pareja que lleva esto. Muy familiar, habitación acogedora,todo limpio icluso los espacios compartidos, hay nevera,congelador y micro. Te rentan bicis electricas El dueño nos llevo a la estación en el check out.

La almohada para mi gusto esta experiencia no esta echa para personas q tengan problemas de espalda o cervicales pq la cama en el suelo no beneficia.

The owner was really helpful, the place had an authentic vibe. I enjoyed my stay:) We also rented the bikes (150jpy an hour). The hot bath after the whole day was a really nice touch!

It was a bit farther from the station, so there wasn’t much restaurants around and it was difficult to move, it is approx 30 minutes by walking to the station.

Tiene muy buena ubicación. El personal es súper amable y te hace sentir como en casa. En la misma casa tienen bicicletas que te las alquilan. Todo muy bien! Además el señor de la casa nos acercó a la estación de bus el día que nos íbamos.

I like the room! I was a solo traveller but the room I got is enough for like 4 or 5 people! The shower and bath is big! The room is overal clean, and the owner is kind .

It's kinda far from the main station which is Kawaguchiko station, about 30 min walk. There's a bus stop nearby but I think the bus only arrives every 30 min, and it doesn't stop anywhere near the station. Also I would love if the house have washing machine.

Superbe petite maison d’hôte. Le monsieur et sa femme sont très gentils. Ils ont des vélos à la location (électriques ou pas) parfait pour un séjour au calme près du mont Fuji et des lacs environnants ! Arigato!

Stay was good, the old man has some bikes to rent so you can rent for all day and visit all the places on a bike! The place is good, quiet, shared amenities were clean and staff really helpful. The host doesn’t speak English very well so it’s better if you understand a little Japanese.

Only one bathroom for 4 rooms.

Nice accommodation to explore the Lake Kawaguchi, the room was big and spacious and had all the ammenities that we could need. We could see Mt. Fuji from the window. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood, close to some nice parks around the Lake Kawaguchi and away from the most busy/turistic spots.

It is a bit far from public transport so it took us half an hour to get there from the closest train station. The bus line that stope nearby is the sightseeing one, so super busy.

What I would like to share is that this Airbnb accommodation is very comfortable and clean, with a wonderful couple as the owners—both very kind and friendly. We stayed here for 2 nights. The toilet and bathroom were also very clean. On the second day, the owner even drove us to a nearby restaurant for dinner. They also welcomed us warmly and sent us to Kawaguchiko Station on our final day when we checked out. The house is located very close to the Sightseeing Green Line stop No. 26—about 450 meters on foot. The surrounding area is peaceful and very quiet. The owner’s mother also lives in the house and stayed together with us during our visit. We highly recommend staying here—great value for money and a very calm, relaxing location. The room is spacious enough and the futons are comfortable. The bath is in a shared room, but it is wonderful. There is a microwave, refrigerator l, and most importantly the bike rent service, since the place is not so close to the main attractions.

Maybe the location, but the bikes are really fun. It would be nice to have access to a kitchen other than a microwave.

Host was very kind and nice person. He even spoke a bit of English. Location and value for money was perfect.

The room itself and the house was quite cold. (I would guess 15 degrees). But the room had AC, so we heated it up to pleasant temperature in short time, so that's only minor issue.

La vista del monte Fuji è impagabile. Il proprietario è molto gentile ci ha dato ottimi suggerimenti. La camera è spaziosa e luminosa. Al check out il proprietario ci ha offerto di accompagnarci gratuitamente alla stazione, cosa che abbiamo tanto apprezzato dato che è più di mezz’ora a piedi ed il bus passa ogni morte di Papa.

Mobilia vecchiotta e polverosa, ci viene chiesto di toglierci le scarpe ma gli ambienti comuni sono polverosi e di certo non puliti. Estremamente scomodo dover scendere di un piano e letteralmente uscire dalla casa per accedere alle docce. La maniglia della porta per accedere al gabinetto era mezza svitata (funzionava ma pronta a rompersi da un momento all’altro). La casa non sembra molto isolata quindi bisogna accendere il riscaldamento la sera quando il sole tramonta. Non c’è un attaccapanni o un armadio ma ci sono solo dei chiodi appesi in una barra di legno che si possono usare come appendini.

Nous avions la chambre bleue pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants, la taille de la pièce étaie parfaite. Nous avions choisi cette location pour l’esprit chambre d’hôte, nous n’avons pas été déçus. C’est une maison traditionnelle gérée par des hôtes disponibles et chaleureux. Nous partageons l’étage avec 3 autres chambres, on peut y trouver un toilette, un lavabo, un frigo/congélateur et un micro-ondes. La salle de bains est au rez de chaussée. J’ai particulièrement apprécié le bain chaud parfumé préparé chaque jour et disponible jusqu’au soir. La ligne verte est à 7min à pieds et la ligne rouge à 15min à pieds.

Le froid est arrivé au moment de notre séjour et la manque d’isolation s’est fait ressentir. Les couettes bien chaudes et la climatisation réversible étaient donc indispensables.

The room was very spatious. The host was very kind to offer us a drive to the bus station on our way back, which was especially nice since it was raining and we had a lot of luggage.

There was a bit of a language barrier at first which made some interactions a bit awkward, but in the end it was all fine.

We loved this experience of staying in a traditional Japanese house with a view of Mount Fuji. The owner was friendly and helpful. Accommodation is quite basic but very clean and comfortable and the hot bath was great. We hired electric bikes from the host to cycle around the lakes which I highly recommend. The nearby Yagizaki Park is beautiful and we really enjoyed Suzukiya restaurant in the evening.

Bathroom space is tight for my taste at 5'10", but not that big a deal. Only other rough spot is taxis make the most sense to get around timely, and the costs can add up

Mr. Watanabe is an amazing host, he takes really good care of guests, gives very good advice about things to do, places to visit and restaurants to try around kawaguchiko lake. The room is very big, has got everything you need and a very nice view on mount Fuji. Also, the bath he prepares for the guests is the best thing ever after a long hike. Highly recommended!!
