迎えに来て頂いたのは本当に助かりました。 後施設内で、前日に河口湖で、次の日に参加する仮装準備をリビングで、自由にさせて頂きありがとございました。ドリンク無料（HOT珈琲）などのドリンク無料は有難かったです。

10時くらには消灯？なのに外国の方々が、外で大きい声で、話されて居て多分注意を受け部屋に戻って来られてからも１時間程ひたすら話しをされて居て余り眠れなかった事が、正直嫌でした。後隣接した部屋から多分日本の方家族だと思うのですが、お子さんとお父さんだと思うのですが、楽しいのはわかるのですが、もう遅い時間帯で、寝たいのに歌声が、やたら聞こえて来て寝れず正直参りました😅

This is my second time visiting Honobono. To be clear this place is not amazingly clean or high-tech or anything like that. But Masa has done a great job of making it feel like a second home for travellers to Kawaguchiko. It is very welcoming and warm and even if the weather isn't great, it's a great place to just stay and pass time. For the price I would recommend this place over anywhere nearby - especially if you like the hostel vibe.

The onsen bath is out of order but otherwise nothing.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, die uns morgens und abends immer zum Bahnhof gebracht oder dort abgeholt haben. Dadurch ist es kein Problem, ohne Auto dort zu sein. Großes Familienzimmer mit viel Platz.Gemeinschaftsraum, große Küche zum Mitnutzen.

Un accueil chaleureux et un propriétaire aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Le lieu est convivial, avec de super good vibes : on s’y sent immédiatement bien. 🥰 Un grand merci pour ces 3 jours incroyables dans ce lieu exceptionnel, au pied du mont Fuji. 🗻❤️ Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse ! ✨

I appreciate how the guesthouse had many things to offer: transportation to the guesthouse, bikes, amenities, and maps for local spots to explore. The owner was easy to talk to and helped us with any requests we had. The lounge was great for talking with other tourists and was definitely part of the reason why I recommend this compared to standard hotels.

Walls are thin; as a group of young adults, we may have been a little bit loud.

I visit various guesthouses every year, but it is rare to find a place where one can stay in such comfort. The hospitality is wonderful. The reasons for the comfort are the puplicspace is like the real living that you can spend like home. Furthermore , host is always there spend time together.

ランニングの大会に出たのですがスタート地点までオーナーさんが朝早くから送ってくださりとても助かりました また利用させていただきたいと思いました

We loved this place. Great place for both solo travelers in the dorms as well as for us as family with small kids in the family room which was a traditional Japanese room with nice floor mats you lay on the floor when sleeping. Great cultural experience. The common area is a huge play room plus kitchen, nice place to hang out and lots of toys for kids. The owner makes this place special, he is a very nice guy that has traveled the world and gives great advice on what to do locally. We will definitely be back

The room was very nice and the check in times were generous. The stay was very affordable, and we didn't mind the staff less reception at all. Would recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room felt spacious and clean. The kitchen was shared and always kept clean. They provided free coffee and shuttle transfer at certain times. The host is very kind and welcoming.

ゲストハウスならではの魅力である宿泊者同士の交流を楽しめる、とても居心地の良い場所でした。共有スペースは子どもが走り回れるほど広々としていて、清潔感もあり、つい長居したくなるようなリラックスできる空間になっています。 オーナーのマサヤさんはとても気さくで話やすかったです。館内にはアート作品や心温まるメッセージが随所に飾られており、宿全体にオーナーの想いや個性を感じられ、今回はドミトリーを利用しましたが、広い和室で圧迫感がなく、プライベートにも十分配慮されていて快適でした。 人との出会い、居心地の良い空間、そしてオーナーの人柄。どれも素晴らしく、「またマサヤさんに会いに来たい」と思える素敵なゲストハウスでした:D

The host was outstanding. He picked us up at the train/bus station. The guesthouse was very clean. There was coffee and tea available. The kitchen had everything. The room was a great size for 2 adults and 2 children. There was tatami flooring which was lovely. Traditional sleeping on the floor with mattresses, pillow and comforter. There are alot of toys for kids. The host has a son who was well-mannered and fun. The house was large. There were toilets on both floors. The showers were downstairs. The stairs are steep. There are towels available, shower soap, shampoo, dish soap, umbrellas, clogs, ramen and a collection of One Piece books. I bought a pair of Mt Fuji chopsticks rests. There are alot of bikes and ebikes down the street. There is parking. There is a large grocery store 15 min walk away. Uber comes quickly. A Japanese restaurant just a few blocks away. The host was attentive.

Fantastic location with a view on Fujisan! The house is huge with a big kitchen and common area. Dorm was simple but efficient. Host was really nice and helpful offering free shuttle service to the station. Highly recommend! Easy to meet people there.

Masaya-san was super kind, quick to respond, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The breathtaking view of Mount Fuji straight from the room was an absolute highlight!

Had a lovely stay, the owner is very friendly, offering a ride from and to the nearest train station. You can rent bikes 1000yen per day and ride around the lake to see Mount Fuji. There is a lovely lounge and full kitchen to use.

It is in a quiet communtiy so we had good sleep. The sitting room is facing the Fuji Mountain, with very good view.

This is the best guesthouse I’ve ever stayed in

オーナーのお兄さんはとても気さくで水回りも綺麗で良かった。 ゲストハウスなので宿泊者は外国人の方が多かったですが、皆さん共有スペースも綺麗に使用し、心配していた夜間の騒音もなく快適でした。

湯船が故障中で使用できなかったことと、壁が薄く建物が古いため、遅くまで起きている人や騒ぐ人がもしいると寝れないなと思いました。

The guesthouse is very cozy, and the host is thoughtful and kind. If I go to Fuji again, I’ll choose here to stay for more time.

Guesthouse au pied du Mont Fuji très agréable. L'hôte, Buzz, est même venu nous chercher en voiture directement à la gare. La chambre traditionnelle était propre, les futons confortables, avec vue directe sur le Mont Fuji ! Nous avons également pu louer des vélos à la journée pour faire le tour du lac. Je recommande vivement.

Les serviettes de douche ne semblaient pas fournies, pas un souci car nous avions les notre.

Very artsy guesthouse with amazing common space and probably the tatami bed on which i had my best sleeps with a view in Mount Fuji. The owner is also extremely kind and even provie free shuttle to Kawaguchi Station.

The owner of the place was the coolest, the whole family is really nice, they took me to the bus station for free. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable

Beautiful view of Mt. Fuji, you can rent a great bike, the bed is extremely comfortable (which surprised me) and there’s a free shuttle from them to the station. The staff is friendly.

An amazing stay at Honobono! It’s like staying in a family home with a chilled and social vibe. The host was really friendly and attentive. It is comfortable and has many amenities. You can also rent bikes from there. Would definitely recommend!

AN ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL AND MEMORABLE STAY!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED🥰 🗻 When I first saw that the bathroom and toilet were shared, I felt a bit concerned. However, those worries disappeared immediately !! - everything was always available and spotlessly clean. The room itself was also extremely clean😻 In fact, the hotel looks even better in real life than in the photos on Booking😅. It’s a very cozy, traditional Japanese-style room with futons, and you truly feel immersed in authentic Japan. At the same time, everything is very comfortable 😻 the bathroom, showers, and facilities are all clean and function perfectly. There is a very warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the guesthouse. Everyone feels welcoming and respectful toward each other🥰 Downstairs, there is a spacious common area where you can sit, relax, or chat with others. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, which felt far too short, especially since we had a view of Mount Fuji🥰🥰🥰. In the morning, we woke up with the curtains open and saw Fuji right away. It was an absolutely breathtaking experience🥹 Sleeping on futons turned out to be very comfortable. Compared to other hotels, there was actually quite a lot of space in the room. You can tell that the entire guesthouse is made with love 😻🥰 every corner has thoughtful and interesting decor, and it’s enjoyable just to walk around. The location is fantastic: as soon as you step outside, you can see the Mount Fuji. It’s very close to the lake and a beautiful small park. Getting to the other side of the lake takes a bit more effort, but in return you get incredible coziness and quiet surroundings. At night, it was so silent that you could hear the faintest sounds, making it very easy to relax and fall asleep. Stores are quite close! Renting a bicycle is possible (we did, but my hand was hurt after Kyoto😅 so.. we had to walk🥲) The host was exceptionally kind.
