Reviewed Sep 19, 2026This was my second and last place to stay in Kyoto before leaving town. I felt the hotel had a good location and was well connected with trendy neighbourhoods at a walking distance as well as temples, shrines, and other points of interest. The room itself was good size and modern, spacious and well equipped. I could see Kyoto tower from the window. It had a mini-fridge and a kettle to make tea. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. It was clean. The staff was okay overall, not the happiest bunch but they were okay to accommodate to a last-minute guest (for an additional cost) and keeping the luggage for few hours.
The room had a strange smell (old musty). Possibly because the carpet that must have just been hoovered. The pillows also smelled strange. I assume they were duck feather pillows and were washed just before checking-in without enough time to ventilate / dry.

Camere un pò piccole, anche se comunque in giappone è la normalità e questa era comunque normale e gestibile.

Okno zaklejone transparentną folią zapewnia klaustrofobie.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026La struttura è esteticamente bella e posizionata in una zona molto comoda, anche se a mio avviso non la più bella di Kyoto. Ho apprezzato molto la possibilità una volta tornati in albergo di rinfrescarsi con delle bevande offerte dall’hotel all’ingresso.
Come molti altri hotel non fanno le pulizie quotidianamente, a loro detta per limitare le emissioni di CO2. La differenza rispetto agli altri hotel sta nel fatto che non solo non vengono cambiate le lenzuola tutti i giorni (cosa che personalmente non vedo come un problema), ma non vengono sostituiti neanche gli asciugamani e soprattutto la stanza non viene rimessa in ordine e i letti fatti. Insomma non entrano proprio in camera. Ho trovato questo fatto molto strano, considerando che rifare il letto non comporta nessuno spreco ambientale, e soprattutto poco consono ad un hotel 4 stelle.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026La habitación era bastante grande ( sobre todo comparado con otras de japón), todo muy nuevo y limpísimo. El baño amplio y en perfecto estado. Camas grandes y cómodas y el aire acondicionado funcionaba perfecto. El personal muy amable y atento, y la ubicación buenísima hay un metro a menos de 10 minutos y una parada de autobús a 2 minutos que te lleva casi a cualquier lado de Kyoto. También tiene un family mart justo debajo y aunque no cojas desayuno ( como nosotros) te dejan coger gratis por la mañana café, te o matcha para llevar. Súper recomendado!! sobre todo por el precio que tiene, es el mejor alojamiento y el más barato de todo nuestro viaje por japón

Trovo inaccettabile che nel 2026 lo staff di un hotel 4 stelle in pieno centro non sappia parlare inglese, neanche rispondere a semplici richieste ( problemi con la lavatrici, informazioni generiche o consigli mai forniti) La hall sembra piuttosto una zona di passaggio Colazione precotta e sempre la stessa per tutto il soggiorno, senza alcuna possibilità di altra scelta

Sinceramente, não gostei do chão. Estava todo manchado cheio de nódoas, que apesar de estar limpo dá mau aspecto porque andamos descalços. Também,não gostei de não poder ficar sentada na mesa do no lobby a comer um oniguiri, enquanto fazia tempo com o meu filho para irmos embora.

Hotel uz má nejlepší za sebou. Na chodbách zápach , sešlapané koberce na pokoji. Nejhorší ovšem byly polštáře. Oba úplně tvrdé, při pohybu šustily…. Každé ráno zablokovaný krk a bolení hlavy. Pokoj hodně malý, bylo těžké zvládnout logisticky jak rozložit dva kufry. Úložný prostor nula.

Las habitaciones son bastante grandes para el estándar japonés. Ofrecen café, té y más bebidas gratis durante todo el día!

The staff member (a lady) at check-in was exceptionally rude and impolite, which made us feel very uncomfortable and prompted us to file a complaint. While the rest of the team were helpful and polite, the hotel seriously needs to address this issue. One person shouldn't ruin an otherwise great hotel's reputation.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026The room was spacious enough and comfortable. There were many nice teas and some cookies in the lobby. The location is nice, in a quiet area but close to shopping area and has lots of restaurants around.
The breakfast was a bento box with the same food everyday, and a bit too strong for western habits (eg cooked chicken or fish - this was the only thing that changed). After the second day it was difficult to eat it. What saved us were the complimentary croissants and toasts at the entrance, available for everyone. However I regreted having paid an extra fee for the breakfast.

Direkt nebenan gibt es einen Familiymart und in wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man eine Einkaufsstraße, Bushaltestellen und diverse Restaurants und Cafés.

Lo staff della reception è sbrigativo e di poche parole. La lavanderia ci ha tenuti svegli fino alle 3 di notte perché non andava la lavatrice e l'indomani mattina avevamo il check-out, siamo partiti con gli abiti ancora bagnati. La colazione pessima, sconsiglio vivamente di farla in hotel visto la varia offerta della città.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Hotel meraviglioso in vero stile tradizionale, elegante e curato. Rapporto qualita'/prezzo molto alto. Camere pulite e silenziose. Sempre disponibili bevande gratuite per gli ospiti, come thè, caffè ed acque aromatizzate; alla mattina anche per chi non ha la colazione inlcusa nella tariffa, sono a disposizione pane, burro e marmellata. Kit bambini consegnato al check in molto carino ed apprezzato. FamilyMart attaccato e zona caon vari negozi e ristorantini. Fermata del Bus 50 che porta da/per Kyoto Station proprio di fronte all'hotel.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026L’unica nota positiva è la pozione abbastanza comoda (8-9 minuti dalla metropolitana) e una doccia con vasca molto grande.
Non so in che tipo di hotel siano state le persone che hanno lasciato commenti positivi. Non può essere assolutamente un 4 stelle. Il personale è come se non esistesse: nessuno ci ha mai spiegato che la colazione (PAGATA) andasse ritirata.. il resto è ridicolo due fette di pane e panini gommosi con una tipologia di marmellata, nessun saluto in uscita o in entrata, solo maree di bagagli nella hall e disordine generale nei piani per diverse ore per rifare le stanze. La stanza non ha possibilità di aprire la finestra ed è oscurata, il tatami è macchiato e molto trascurato. La pulizia è pressoché inesistente se non rifare il letto.

La colazione pagata era a loro discrezione e non era possibile scegliere cosa mangiare, a meno che non ti accontentavi di poche cose offerte al bancone, gestite dal receptionist. L’aria condizionata in camera troppo forte e non regolabile. Il personale gentile ma non parla inglese.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Durante la colazione viene allestito un piccolo buffet gratuito e a disposizione per tutti. Posizione ottima, con una buona passeggiata (o con i numerosi autobus) si raggiungono facilmente tutti i punti principali di Kyoto
Le camere vengono cambiate ogni 3 giorni per evitare sprechi, ed è sicuramente una buona soluzione; sarebbe però bello che nelle altre 2 notti, lo staff passi comunque a rifare e riordinare il letto.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026This was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Japan. The reception staff is exceptionally professional. What stood out was the spacious room and bed. The room was designed in a convenient and comfortable manner, with plenty of amenities.
The breakfast menu could use a bit of a diversity, but generally, ot was delicious and generous.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Il miglior alloggio delle nostre due settimane in Giappone. Albergo nuovo e molto curato. Spazi comuni e camere bellissimi e più spaziosi degli standard giapponesi. Sempre presenti drink di rinfresco al rientro in albergo.
Posizione molto buona, ma non vicinissimo ai quartieri più centrali. Staff un po’ altalenante.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026大概是他的外觀吧…，一樓大廳跟門面還蠻美的。裡面就跟照片差不多但是可能要打折一下。水壓是強的。洗澡空間還算可以，有boss音響不錯。
空間小，很想說極度小，兩個大行李箱是只能找地方放，一個放在洗手槽旁邊另一個要放門口才放得下，但總結一次店。住好看的。旁邊有個小桌子極度重難搬又卡位還撞到超痛。

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026The design of the hotel, and especially the façade, entrance and lobby is beautiful. The location in convenient in the heart of Kyoto centre.
Although the hotel’s design is nice, the room felt a little too small for us. The cleanliness was also not quite as impeccable as we experienced at other hotels, both in the room and in the public areas of the hotel. With the hotel seeming to attract a large number of Western tourists, the overall atmosphere also felt somewhat less refined and peaceful than we had hoped.

De ne pas pouvoir utiliser les tables en bas pour consommer la nourriture et boissons achetés à l'extérieur même si j'en comprend tout à fait les raisons

Das Frühstück konnten wir leider nicht genießen. Ich habe nichts gegen bento- Boxen, aber mit Sauerkraut und Würstchen und Kartoffeln war das als Frühstück nicht genießbar.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Es war der beste Aufenthalt unserer Japan Reise, die betten waren sehr komfortabel, das Bad mit dem getrennten Klo super. Wir haben die Größe gemocht. Jeden morgen haben wir uns Cafe, Saft, Wasser, Brot und Croissants bekommen und sogar Matcha machen können. Die Lage war top, der Bus gleich vor der Türe. U-bahn 5-7min zu Fuß entfernt. Der Family Mart ist gleich daneben. Daher top!

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026A cosy hotel with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. I loved the thoughtful touches, especially the quality toiletries and comfortable robes. There was also a great selection of complimentary drinks in the reception area, including different juices, a coffee machine, and matcha. The location is excellent—close to the train station and about a 13-minute walk to Nishiki Market. Having a 24/7 convenience store right next door was also very convenient and made our stay even more comfortable.
A minor downside was that the sink was located in the bedroom rather than the bathroom. I would have preferred it to be inside the bathroom for a bit more privacy and convenience.

La moquette in camera. Il bagno era organizzato in tre spazi separati: il lavandino era nella stanza, di fronte al letto, mentre doccia e WC si trovavano in due ambienti distinti. La colazione che prevedeva una box fissa con: carne o pesce, insalata, uova strapazzate, una piccola e macedonia senza possibilità di scelta. Consigliamo di non prenderla perché l'albergo mette a disposizione gratuitamente sia pane che cornetti da scaldare con burro e marmellata, il caffè/thè/latte.
