I loved the atmospheric the structure of this place is Mind blowing especially the lightening the jacuzzi my second visit loved it even celebrated birthday here with my sister highly recommended ❤️

I found it slightly frustrating that I couldn’t get a hold of the company until the day of. I phoned and emailed several times prior and had no response. We were travelling from the highlands of Scotland so it would have been good to received what was necessary before our travel. However when we were contacted by Velmora suites the woman was lovely that we spoke to ☺️

One of the worst places I have ever stayed. Definitely avoid , nothing like a 5 star property. Area is disgusting, it looks disgusting . Biggest waste of money you’ll ever spend. Owner is rude , took ages to send deposit back. After claiming I will contact bank, she then said she will contact her bank, then proceeded to refund me after. Avoid

The property is awful in a very tatty and unsafe area. Robbers and druggies are on the road. The property is a house turned into a hotel. Not even a standard B&B... I travelled for work to Huddersfield, and around 18:00 I realised that I had to stay here one night to finish my work. I searched on booking.com, and the property came up as 5-star. Booking.com is misrepresenting this property, and the owner is doing the same. There are rubbish big red bins outside the property, no reception, and no entrance. You just book and end up in this scam; I had my laptop and work documents with me. My CAB DRIVER SAID TO ME Mam, please don't step out here; you never know, someone might rob you. I called on a number and asked the lady where the reception was, as the building is surrounded by druggies. I said, 'Can you cancel my booking? The way the place looks, I don't feel safe – there's no hotel, no reception, just a random house with big bins outside. She said, 'You have to stay; otherwise we will charge you. I decided not to stay and left quickly. Don't think this is a fair business; please be aware before booking or coming to this place. I have raised the query with booking.com and hopefully they will advertise this properly.

The stay was excellent. The check in process was simple. The appartment was fantastic will definately be back again.

Beautiful property, close to the city.

The host asks for an EXTRA deposit, by messaging off the platform. This is against Booking.com rules and therefore should be acknowledged. The deposit is £100 and having already paid for the stay (with no refunds), it’s quite a scummy tactic.

Apartments were absolutely gorgeous! Hidden gem especially for the area it was in… pleasantly suprised the host was very fast with responses, was easy to check in and out. Very clean… smells amazing from the moment u walk in. The lighting 10/10 and the fact you can change them all , there weren’t no hidden charges as other reviews claimed? Hot tub was perfect we even put some roses in and enjoyed the bathroom tv too I wasn’t aware we would get one so was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. I got a massive discount having a genius on booking.com I do think I’d go back and try the other apartments.

Personally nothing much the hosts can do. The area isn’t great it had a bad atmosphere at night a feeling of being unsafe kind of (being out of the property) although the apartments have cameras all over so helps. Also with it being a heat wave maybe something could be done in the future about some air con as we were boiling but having a cool bath and the fan worked a treat! Other than that absolutely great.

It was a nice suite with a comfortable bed and cleaned to a very good standard.

Very romantic, it felt very luxurious, having take-aways and a local shop neighbouring the property was also ideal

Very stylish, modern and well equipped

The apartment was very nicely decorated good location close to town centre and all local amenities good free parking on the road. Host was friendly and responds quickly. Warm and has great facilities.

The bedding wasn't washed i could smell b.o on bedding and cushions which were creased and clearly not changed from previous guest.bathrobes were used and stained but put back into wardrobe which put me off staying there unfortunately so I left.

The apartment was as good as it looks in the pictures. Really clean throughout. The owner is really nice and was really helpful if you needed anything. Will definitely be booking here again for a relaxing weekend away.

The setup was so romantic with the spa and lighting. Which we thoroughly enjoyed using. TV in the bathroom was an absolute bonus. Being able to be self-sufficient as it had a separate kitchen with all the utensils required.

There was nothing we didn't like. However, the following morning, we wanted to have a shower but couldn't work it out. It was not a deal breaker for me, but for the future, if there were instructions, it would help immensely.

I couldn't gain access to the property, I rang the owner several times. Sat outside the property for half an hour Ended up cancelling and having to book elsewhere. And now they are refusing to refund the money! The guy who owns it is extremely rude, basically called me a liar!

This has been our 4th visit to this place and every time it has met expectations. All requirements have been met and a very clean room.

Having been let down last minute by another venue this was very much last minute Was contacted on morning by whatsapp to confirm Apartment is a good size for 2 people (I was solo) and nicely furnished with nice decor Loved the neon lighting and the spa bath was delightful and much needed after a long drive Was in Huddersfield for football and is only a 15 minute walk to the stadium There are several takeaways on the street and a large Tesco roughly 600 yards away so all good whether wanting to/not wanting to cook Bed was very comfy and slept like a baby. Never heard a sound from other apartments during my stay Would highly recommend and will definitely book again if in the area

How clean and fresh the hole building is

It’s was amazing very clean excellent hygiene. Very spacey. I loved the layout the fact everything was separated.kitchen and living room was separated the hot tub was amazing. Definitely go again.

The way you can alter different lighting too suit mood, the bath tub was brilliant with the jets for pure relaxing then added touch with t.v to watch too

Perfect 2 night stay for my husbands 40th birthday Really relaxing and peaceful. The lights are a bonus Bath is huge fit 2 adults in easy. Kitchen fully equipped too. Lovely stay we will be booking again soon. Food restaurants on the street.

We decided not to stay as we were uncomfortable with staff requests and the location of the building

I was asked to provide an arrival time within a couple of hours of my already submitted arrival time. I was also asked to provide a photo of my passport after I had also travelled and didn't have this on me. This latter request was not in the booking terms and made me feel very uncomfortable. On arrival we found the building to be in a very rundown area of Huddersfield which made us feel uncomfortable to leave the car with very limited on street parking and unsafe to return late at night as we planned. On balance we felt our overnight stay would be more enjoyable elsewhere and sourced accommodation in the centre of town.

The jacuzzi bath was amazing 👏
