Room was spacious, with a contemporary decor and large / modern en-suite. The hotel generally has a contemporary fit out and is small enough to feel more boutique.

Beautiful, well designed and high spec, very high level of service with lovely warm welcome, well appointed room with every detail considered, a personal touch of a handwritten note and delicious macaron on arrival, lovely bistro for breakfast

No dinner service on Mondays and Tuesdays which I didn’t realise until I arrived, with very few restaurants nearby restaurants open on those days either. There is a bar and some light bite bar options would have been nice (I went for a grazing board as the one option available which was delicious but a bit much for a solo traveller!) Perhaps this could be made more clear on Booking.com as I’d booked in part for the wonderful looking bistro

Luxurious hotel, only stayed one night, but would happily of stayed longer. Nice surroundings, great place to stay and will definitely be back there soon because we didn't try the restaurant. If breakfast is any judge of the standard that must be amazing.

Hotel was loverly. Room was not overly large but nicely furnished, comfortable, clean and had air conditioning. Nice bar area and terrace outside to sit in. Breakfast was excelent with friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Also short walk to local restaurants and bars. Would recommend.

The access from the m62 was busy and a lot of traffic in the morning rush hour makes getting on to the m62 slow.

We didn't have a breakfast at manor house. We meet with relatives who live in Huddersfield for breakfast.

Staff are friendly and very helpful, clean room, facilities for tea and coffee, safe car parking. Location is very good and they have beautiful gardens.

The staff were all fantastic - including the chap who opened the bar at gone half eleven at night!

I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. Mostly it was nice but the bacon was cooked well on one side but a little under done on the other. Came with a side of toast but no butter.

I had booked a Deluxe King so assumed it would be a large bed but it was a cosy double. Perhaps a booking.com poor description of the room we were allocated. The hotel has been beautifully renovated structurally but decorated in very dark tones.

The quality of the room and the overall hotel was first class. The gym facilities were also excellent.

Breakfast was a shambles. Unfriendly staff, long waiting time to be seated and served, and the food was only ok. Definitely will avoid if starting again.

Lovely well appointed boutique hotel. The night porter was excellent as I was staying as my wife was in hospital and he went out of his way to ensure everything was correct.

The hotel is lovely, staff are amazing, so friendly and attentive. Room was spotless, bathroom spacious and well designed. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was an extra bonus. Breakfast was great, many options and they were happy to accommodate my GF needs.

The room type name on booking.com is misleading - room was called King, but the bed was only a double. This was a bit unexpected especially with my husband being 6'4. This was the only downside of our stay.

The property is stunning and in a perfect location. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The room was beautiful, well equipped and spotless. Most comfortable bed. Will definitely be back.

The very noisy plumbing that kept me awake most of the night, no food available on Mondays and Tuesdays but was not informed. Bar closed at 10.15 when we returned from the restaurant that we had to walk to in the rain.

Lovely place, exceeded our expectations for a last minute booking. High quality interior, friendly, professional staff and excellent food in the restaurant.

Every member of staff was exceptionally brilliant, polite & professional. Check in was done swiftly and I was shown to my gorgeous room. Amenities were in abundance, fresh water, coffee machine, tea & biscuits, gorgeous homemade little treats and a personalised message. The bathroom was kitted out with everything you would need to the highest standard. Manor House is a must! We will definitely return soon. Room 9 Jan 17

Absolutely gorgeous stay. Apartment was stunning. Bar/drinks/cafe were lush and the staff were amazing.

I’ve been here several times for lunch and also breakfast. So managed to have a night here as I was out with family the night before. Super room, great ambience for drinks and had a really enjoyable stay.

There was nothing to dislike about the property and the experience

Friendly staff, comfy bed and pillows, coffee machine appreciated. Shower powerful and hot each day and water drained away well. Good quality food at breakfast. Useful fridge and safe. Car parking on site

Bathroom was always cold - no visible switch for underfloor heating or towel warmer for towels and robes (fully tiled floor and walls). Nothing relating to bathroom temperature controls within the information booklet. TV really needs to be smart enough to be able to connect to customers apps with power socket close by. Very awkward to use light switches when in bed due to large lamp and positioning of the switches in relation to sitting in the bed. Although the room was fine, some of the corridors had "a strange smell to them" - including the stairway. Couldn't pin point what it was but similar to a mixture of dampness possibly mixed with perfumed reed diffusers??

Rooms were lovely and individual. Staff were brilliant. You must have breakfast there, especially the bacon.

The attention to detail was fantastic! As an independently run little hotel this place has tried to think of everything. They have come very close. It looks fantastic but also the staff all clearly are trained to make the guests feel as welcome as possible. Superb from start to finish.
