Juste WoW pour le déjeuner. La qualité ainsi que la variété étaient très bien. L’hôtel est très bien placée, soit pour aller en peu de temps au port, dans le vieux Montréal, ou dans l’autre sens, pour aller marcher la rue Ste-Catherine, qui est toujours intéressante, quoi qu’il y a beaucoup de rénovations cette année. La qualité de la literie et des équipements ont été très bien.

Nous aurions apprecié qu’il y ait un peu de documentation facilement accessible concernant les lieux à visites, à proximité. Il n’y avait aucune information, soit dans la chambre ou dans le hall d’entrée de l’immeuble.

Being a special time with my wife, she wanted to spend two days to visit Montreal since it has been 13 years since we last visited. I did my research and chose this hotel. After the first day, we were going to leave the next morning instead of staying the two nights. We checked in on a Tuesday and were to orginally leave Thursday morning. But after doing the Hop-on/Hop-off on Wedesday, we decided to stay Wednesday night. That was were we made made the wrong chose. To see the beautiful sights at night, we took a room on the 5th floor. This hotel has 6 floors will the 6th having a bar, entertainment area and pool. On this Wednesday, the hotel rented out the 6th floor for a latin party with loud music and dancing. Being my wife and I had a long day, we needed to get our rest for an early morning departure. We laid down at 8pm. I wear earing aids, but not when I sleep. Even without my aids, I could not sleep, nor my wife, due to the loud music and virbrations from above. At 8:30pm, I spoke to Nick, the night manager. He stated that he would go talk to them but the sound never went down. He even offered earplugs and asked if we wanted to move. No on the plugs nor the move. This hotel cares nothing of its paying guests nor being an Hilton Honors member. I am sure that others that stayed on the 5th floor felt the same. Nick stated that the party would end at 10pm. So my wife and I was unable to get our sleep. 10pm came around and passed...the music was still going strong. After another call, finally well past 10pm, it finally stopped. Again, this is totally unacceptable. They should block off ALL rooms on the 5th Floor when they are having parties. The paying guests are only second to this hotel having parties. So a take away is to ask first directly to the hotel managment if they are having parties BEFORE you decide to stay at this hotel. The other problem is the hallways coming out of the room, NO A/C. IT WAS TOTALLY HOT. Don't you have A/C?

Buen hotel, a una cuadra de Notre-Dame Montreal, junto esta el barrio chino y hay muchos restaurantes. El desayuno va incluido, aunque debes bajar temprano porque hay mucha gente y se hace un poco de descontrol. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. El estacionamiento tiene costo adicional. La alberca esta muy pequeña.

L’hotel si trova alle porte di Chinatown, in una posizione abbastanza comoda e a metà strada tra Downtown e la città vecchia di Montréal. Tuttavia, si affaccia su una strada che ci è sembrata particolarmente mal frequentata. Uno degli aspetti più negativi del soggiorno è stato sicuramente il rumore. Al sesto piano dell’hotel è presente un locale che tiene la musica ad un volume molto alto dalle 17 alle 22. Una sera siamo rientrati alle 22:20 e la musica era ancora fortissima: dalla nostra camera al quinto piano si sentiva chiaramente e ci è stato riferito che era percepibile persino dal quarto. Abbiamo quindi chiamato la reception per chiedere a che ora fosse prevista la fine della musica e ci è stato risposto “alle 22”, nonostante fossero già le 22:20 e fosse ancora in corso. Solo dopo averlo fatto presente ci è stato risposto che si sarebbero occupati di chiedere al locale di spegnerla. Da un hotel ci si aspetterebbe quantomeno di poter riposare tranquillamente, soprattutto in serata. Anche il servizio non è stato all’altezza delle aspettative. Un pomeriggio ci siamo accorti che non erano stati sostituiti i teli doccia e che eravamo rimasti senza. Intorno alle 17 lo abbiamo segnalato alla reception. Al nostro rientro, verso le 21, gli asciugamani non erano ancora stati portati, quindi abbiamo fatto una seconda segnalazione. Dopo altri venti minuti non era ancora arrivato nessuno e soltanto dopo un terzo sollecito, questa volta più insistente, qualcuno è finalmente venuto a consegnarceli. Un’altra notte, dopo la chiusura del locale, alcune persone sono rimaste sotto l’hotel con moto o auto, accelerando ripetutamente e producendo un rumore assordante almeno fino a mezzanotte. Naturalmente non tutto ciò che accade in strada è direttamente imputabile all’hotel, ma nel complesso la posizione e la presenza del locale rendono la struttura poco adatta a chi cerca tranquillità e riposo. This hotel on the border between Chinatown and Old Montreal is in a great location. Old Montreal and the waterfront are a 10-15 minute walk down rue Saint-Laurent. Lots of Chinese and other restaurants are nearby. The front desk staff are helpful. It is a big hotel and, during tourist season, very busy. Breakfast is nice, with a variety of hot and cold items. The dining room got busy 8:30 am and later--a sign is posted about busy and less busy times to eat. The staff helps people find a table. My only complaint was the WiFi did not work when we arrived, but it was fixed in 2 days.

The wifi did not work for the days we were there and it caused me a lot of trouble since it was very important for me to be able to work from the hotel. it was promised to be fixed immediately but nothing was done.

Wir waren zu dritt und haben auch so gebucht- das Zimmer war für 2 (Betten; Handtücher ect) vorbereitet, es waren Umstände das noch für drei Personen umzubauen, Polster bekamen wir für die dritte Person nicht, auch nur 2 Decken zu dritt Das Frühstück ist eine Katastrophe, Gäste kommen mit Pyjama zum Frühstück, extrem schlechte Qualität der Lebensmittel, wenig Auswahl, Sauberkeit nicht vorhanden Im "Speisesaal" volles Chaos und Dreck, Lautstärke, draußen kann man auf einen Parkplatz schauen, wo Junkies vorbeilaufen

Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre ville de Montréal. A deux pas, du vieux-Montréal et à moins de 15 minutes du vieux-port. A moins de 5 minutes de la station de métro "Place d'Armes". La chambre était très bien et spacieuse et bien équipée. La literie était très confortable. Le must était d'avoir des rideaux qui étaient bien occultants et c'est très rare au Canada. Le personnel est très gentil que ce soit à l'accueil ou au service du petit-déjeuner. Le choix du petit-déjeuner était varié et en quantité par contre, il faut y aller avant 9 h si on ne veut pas attendre une place. Je recommande à 100%. C'est un hôtel que je reprendrais si je devais de nouveau séjourner à Montréal. Très pratique le service bagagerie car nous avons pu laisser nos bagages le matin pour pouvoir visiter Montréal tranquillement.

Great location, easy walking distance to the Notre Dam & vibrant downtown. Quality breakfast.

The underground parking space is, though understandable due to its urban location, small and rather pricey.

I booked this hotel for the location which is walking distance to so many main attractions. I loved it's location and easily learned how to use the metro to visit attractions that were farther away. The metro stop is only a few blocks from the hotel. One thing I learned is that when it is rush hour or there is a hockey game in town, it is better to take the metro to get to the outskirts of town, then book a Lyft or Uber because traffic can get pretty gridlocked near the downtown.

The breakfast had a lot of options, which was good. But otherwise...the eggs, meat, pastries were pretty terrible (overcooked, flavorless, rubbery) but I never got sick and there are really great affordable breakfast options, including three different bakeries in Chinatown within a block.

Very well laid out, spacious room, convenient downtown location 10 minute walking distance to Old Port. Excellent hot breakfast buffet with plenty of options, but extremely busy - they stop serving at 9:30am, to get a table and food, be downstairs by 8:15am!

Our room wasn't cleaned for 2 days, even though request was made. They should have door signs that all hotels have: make up room on 1 side, do not disturb on the other - that would be a clear communication process for guests and housekeeping. Neighborhood is very dodgy and dirty, many homeless people on sidewalks. A tradeoff for the great location and reasonable price.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to all the main attractions. The staff is very polite, and the atmosphere is quite cozy.

Parking was difficult to find, and it took us about 30 minutes. The website doesn’t clearly explain where the parking entrance is, and there are not enough signs, especially for international visitors. Breakfast is quite basic and extremely crowded around 9:00 a.m. The hotel is very family-oriented, which is great for guests with children. If you prefer a quieter and more private stay, another hotel may be a better choice. The rooftop bar closes at 10:00 p.m., and the pool at 9:00 p.m., which feels surprisingly early.

1. Arrived to find the sofa-bed for my son not made. Told reception and went for a walk. Cane back and found bed linen (one sheet missing,) but no pillows. Bed had not been made. Had to contact reception again, ti get sheet and pillows 2. Day 2 cleaning people cane ti our room, changed towels, emptied trash. Beds were not made 3. Day 3: cleaning people did not come to the rooms, not even to empty the trash. We Spike ti the manageress. She apologisef and lefy US a kind gift: two chocolates, a can of water, a can of Fanta. Laughable. 4. Breakfast: terribile service because understaffed. Only One Person to che k guests in and clean tables. There are not enough tables, people were breakfasting in the lobby 5. Reception: a Little useless. I was bitten by something on the back and had asked about the nearest pharmacy. They said as It was Sunday they had already closed (,It was 8 pm). I asked if they had a doctor on call. No. There isn't. I was told to go to the hospital and be prepared to wait, up to 10 hours. Thanks to google It turned out that some pharrmacies are open tilt 10 pm on Sunday. The One I went to was 15 minutes in foot from the hotel. I was supposed to stay at the same hotel Upon my return from Quebec city but I canceled my eeservation

Cleaning and utilities

My wife and I had a great time at the Hampton Inn. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer our questions. The hotel is located in a great spot as we were in Montreal for the jazz festival and it was only an easy 3 or 4 blocks walk. We chose a room with a small kitchen and there is an IGA supermarket in Place Desjardins that is only a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was too poor and boring.

I had a very bad experience with this hotel. I booked two rooms through Booking.com, including one room with two queen beds. When we arrived to check in, the hotel staff told us that this room type was no longer available. They demanded an additional CAD 50 to upgrade to another room type, otherwise they would cancel my reservation. They also asked me to contact Booking.com to resolve the issue. I explained that this was not my responsibility because I had already made the reservation and paid the full amount. After more than an hour of discussions and waiting, the issue was finally resolved, and the hotel ended up giving us the exact room type that we had originally booked. This made it very clear that the room was actually available and that they were simply trying to charge me extra money. I find this behavior unacceptable and highly unprofessional. This was an extremely disappointing experience, especially from a hotel with such a well-known reputation. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting honest and professional service.

The room was large and it was an excellent location. The breakfast was great. The staff was very helpful considering we don’t speak French. The room was quiet, but there was no view on the inside court.

It was a great location,however,it was only a block from the homeless shelter. That said there were no problems just a little uncomfortable walking past the center.

Personnel très cordial par message mais la réceptionniste pas heureuse de son emploi, qui ne cherche pas de solution et refuse une prise en charge qui avait été convenue par avance via message booking avec l’hôtel. Présence de lotion, de shampoing et de conditionner dans le bain douche mais pas de gel douche. Réclamation faite auprès d’une femme de chambre. En conclusion : les bases de l’hôtellerie ne sont pas maîtrisée pour un hôtel de ce standing dont le prix est bien supérieur à l’offre (ménage, s’assurer que les produits sont les bons et disponible et surtout aucune note au dossier, ce qui implique une non communication entre le personnel qui est préjudiciable au client).

Situation parfaite pour visiter le centre-ville et si vous assistez à un événement au palais des congrès. Tout se fait bien à pied, que vous allez sur Ste-Catherine ou dans le vieux port. Bel environnement, bien aménagé, confortable, personnel gentil et courtois. Stationnement sous-terrain avec un accès direct à l'hôtel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They were extremely welcoming and provided us with great restaurant recommendations in the area. I also appreciated the help with directions. The room was great - very comfortable and we got a great night of sleep. Nice breakfast in the morning to start the day. Highly recommend!

First time staying at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Montreal Centre Ville and it was fantastic. The front desk staff are warm, friendly and efficient. My guest room was spacious, comfortable and sparkling clean. Very convenient to have a keurig with a nice variety of coffee and tea as well as a small fridge and a microwave in the room. There is a very well stocked tuck shop that even has a variety of ice cream treats. A tasty buffet breakfast is included with your stay and offers the biggest selection of food at any hotel chain I’ve stay in. Hot food was hot, cold food was cold. All areas around the buffet were clean and the tables and chairs area was tidy and clean. On my last day at the hotel I left a normal looking lobby and when I returned it was totally decorated for the upcoming F1 weekend. The front desk even gave me a cute F1 themed goodie bag. All in all I had a wonderful 4 night stay and I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

This hotel is in an absolutely outstanding location. Quick walk to Old Town which is fun, historical and full of amazing restaurants. Very quick uber/taxi to other parts of downtown Montreal. I've read reviews that mention a "homeless encampment" adjacent to the hotel. This is not entirely accurate. There are some unhoused people that were in an alley nearby, but absolutely not an issue in that location compared to other major cities. Do not let that be a deterrent. The rooms were clean and what you would expect from this chain. I enjoyed that they have replaced the carpet with vinyl flooring. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because the free breakfast was extremely chaotic. It was absolutely packed every day and they often ran out of food items. That being said the staff were constantly hustling to refill and were always polite and busy! I would absolutely stay here again.

We chose this hotel because of the location (close to the Old City, metro stops for each of the orange and green lines, the large IGA grocery at complexe des jardins). And because it offers suites with a real oven and stove in the kitchenette, which was perfect for our week long stay and we did not wish to eat out for every meal.
