ANEW Hotel Green Point Cape Town

O hotel é bem localizado. Tem uma vista muito bonita da cidade (estádio e montanhas). O café da manhã é bom e o restaurante é bom também (jantamos no hotel porque não pareceu muito seguro andar pela região à noite). Dá para ir a pé até o Waterfront (uns 20 minutos de caminhada). O quanto era pequeno, mas bem confortável.

The rooms on the roadside of the hotel are really noisy. You can even hear people who are talking while they walk by.

Sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt. Das Hotel war nicht sauber, und auf meine Anliegen bzw. Anfragen wurde vom Personal praktisch nicht eingegangen. Statt konkreter Hilfe oder einer Lösung bekam ich immer wieder dieselbe Standardantwort. Rückmeldungen oder echtes Interesse an meinem Problem? Fehlanzeige. Ich kann dieses Hotel daher leider überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Wer Wert auf Sauberkeit, guten Service und ernst genommene Anliegen legt, sollte sich meiner Erfahrung nach lieber nach einer anderen Unterkunft umsehen. Für mich: hier nicht wieder buchen – absolut enttäuschend.

The decor is ok. Service was impeccable.

I'll be honest, expecting me to squeeze into the teeny tiny space between the bed and the wall and pretend that's a desk to sit and work at is absolutely ridiculous. Not having a seating area, like a single sofa, is honestly gobsmacking. The bed is unbelievably high, higher than standard beds, so it's extremely difficult to get onto the bed. The pillows are so soft that i could not sleep. Perhaps give guests the option on the type of pillow or let us know to bring our own. The room is honestly tiny, and i don't think they even make smaller fridges than what you have in the room. Kudos for having a fridge in there. I love the shower but the water pressure is very weak. We were on the 1st floor. The bathroom is unnecessarily large, you could have designed the room better and allocated more space to the bedroom.

The place was enjoyable, nice, and quiet. All my expectations were met, from the reception. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff are exceptional; every person with whom I spoke was kind and very helpful. Hayley, at the front desk reception, was especially helpful answering my questions (and always with a smile). The rooms were very clean with all amenities I could need. A coffee/tea maker along with a refrigerator for snacks i picked up on my days out. The bed/bedding was so comfortable and I would have loved to sleep in, but there is so much to do in the area. The waterfront boardwalk is within walking distance, there is a park across the street for some time enjoying nature, and there is ample shopping in the area. A perfect stay.

Very close to the city's tourist attractions, clean and cozy, and with very friendly staff. It was our first time at this hotel, and we spent 7 nights there, celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. It was wonderful.

Well served and varied breakfast as well as attentive, helpful staff. The hotel is located in a nice, relatively safe area in Capetown.

I had a pleasant stay overall. I checked in around 20:00, and although the receptionist initially seemed skeptical and requested all the necessary documentation to confirm my booking, I understood that he was being cautious to prevent fraud. Once everything was verified, the check-in process went smoothly. The room itself was excellent—clean, comfortable, and well presented. I honestly have very little to complain about. My only suggestion would be to consider adding a small balcony to some rooms, as it would make it even more enjoyable to experience the beautiful views. A small table would also be a nice addition for guests who want to enjoy meals or refreshments in the room. One issue I experienced was with the iron provided on request. It appeared to be dirty, and when I used it, it produced smoke that triggered the room's fire alarm. I recommend investing in higher-quality irons or checking them regularly before issuing them to guests. Despite this minor inconvenience, I had a great stay, and the overall experience was excellent.

Lekker ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel en alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt.

Locatie een beetje maar met een uber (die heel goedkoop was), was je zo overal. Het hotel biedt in de avond ook een pendel service naar V&A Waterfront.

The size of the room could've been better as it felt quite cramped and the only difference between the standard room and the executive room was a balcony and the rooms were exactly the same.

Quando cheguei, apesar de ter reservado há muito e de estar tudo pago, disseram-me que não tinham quarto e que teriam de me colocar num outro hotel para onde teria de me deslocar sozinha.Inaceitável. Obviamente que não aceitei. Colocaram-me num quarto situado sob o ginásio, pelo que acordava com o barulho das passadeiras.

I arrived at the hotel only to be told that they had moved me to another hotel owing to the staff rather accommodating other guests who wanted to extend their stay .

I had a wonderful stay this hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff even offered me a glass of champagne upon my arrival.

Brilliant service... Such warm and kind staff. Room facilities perfect. I highly recommend ANEW Greenpoint. The pool deck view is spectacular!!

Very clean rooms, bathrooms and all that was needed was there.

The breakfast range was a little limited, but that is very critical not because I didn't enjoy my breakfast.

I recently stayed at Anew hotel in Cape Town and had a great experience. The hotel was modern, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms were well designed and the overall atmosphere felt fresh and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town.

Great location, the free shuttle to and from the V&A Waterfront every evening was an unexpected bonus. Walking distance from restaurants and coffee shops. We walked to the promenade easily. Very safe area.

Die lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, zentral man ist jederzeit gut angebunden um zu diversen Locations in Kapstadt mit Taxi oder Uber zu kommen

die Anzahl der Liegen auf dem Rooftop Pool könnte höher sein 4 sind definitiv zu wenig!!! Lärm des Verkehrs ist stark in den Zimmern zu hören, evtl lag es auch an unserem Zimmer, war aber in der Nacht etwas störend..

Hotel is clean and the parking is a plus. Perfect location. The lack of service and listening skills make the expreriance average.

- Location is central to stadium, V&A Waterfront and restaurants. - Rooms were clean - Breakfast buffet was very good.

- Area around hotel is noisy. No sound proof windows. - Bar staff not properly trained. - Group of 6 and everyone got their meals at different times. No explanation given by waitress or manager.

The Hotel stay was excellent and the staff and facilities were good. The room was well kept and always clean & we enjoyed our stay there with secure underground parking. The staff were pleasant and gave good advice on how to get around Cape Town and where to go to fulfill our needs.

Modern hotel which is situated in a safe area, with excellent local restaurants and delis. It's very near the V & A waterfront and is well served by Uber and Bolt ( Bolt is cheaper). The rooftop pool is small, but it's generally quiet and gives an excellent view of the area. The staff are very accommodating and are keen to help, the housekeeping is very good. Jason's bakery is a great place for coffee and pastries is nearby.

The service and rooms, including the cleanliness of the rooms, was great. The breakfast variety was amazing, however, the cooked breakfast items were ice cold, to the point that I could not eat the cooked breakfast.

Location was a but tricky to get into if the traffic is busy and you are not aware of the actual parking entrance. You cant really see exactly where the parking is coming up to the hotel. Breakfast was not included by mistake but to pay over 200 for breakfast I thought was just silly. You on a business trip and a lot of places do a breakfast a lot cheaper than over 200. I think yours was 269... For your hotel ...that's way too much. First night I had the smoke alarm going off in my room. I called reception. He asked if I had used the hair dryer...? anyway, I left it as it stopped. then at 3.55 am it went off again! I complained with the on-duty manager who told me they need to be serviced, and two other guests complained. I asked for a room change at the end of the day which I was helped with. then that room, at about 22.04pm, the light started going off on this smoke alarm... someone knocked on my door to ask if he could come in and disable it for me. I was in my pjs. almost asleep... I thought I will let him in otherwise it will go off in the night. I wasn't comfortable with opening the door and I was in my pjs! he disabled it and as he did there was another one going off down the hall. I did not bother to let anyone know on the Friday morning as I had to rush out for work. I booked out and you are hearing of this first. I am now extremely reluctant to stay there again after that experience.

The location of this hotel is great! As a first timer in Capetown is very easy for me to move around, for drivers and cabs to find.

Where to start! The staff was quite unhelpful from the moment I stepped in their doors, I gave it the benefit of doubt that first day but I should have clocked it then. 1. For the three days I stayed there I allowed for my room to be cleaned once and on that day, my USD in cash was taken from my bag. I noticed almost immediately I got back but i was so shocked and figured that i would turn my luggage upside down before I accused anyone. Nope, that cash was definitely stolen and I know because some of the bills were left in my wallet and all the big bills taken. 2. I was on holiday so I would sleep in quite a bit ( 8/9am) but the two mornings were hell. The staff would be yelling at each other on the corridors. On one of those days right outside my door. Again I assumed they didn't know I was in there (not that anyone should be yelling on the room floors anyway) so I called the reception to order some water so they'd see me at the door. They did and as soon as I shut that door they piped right back up. I was appalled. I ended up staying in Capetown 4 more nights but after that experience I checked out and checked myself into another hotel right down the street for the rest of my trip and I will not be recommending this hotel for these reasons.

Location of the hotel met our requirements. Short walk to the Waterfront. Room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent.

Housekeeping was not maintaining the things actually clean, no replacement of show gel and toilet paper, the floor was not properly clean. Check out was at 10, were nowhere in the room was informed and we were threatened to leave in the hurry.
