Avoid this hotel, especially if you are traveling with a child. The rooms are extremely small, yet the hotel allows bookings for families and charges an additional rate for a child without providing a crib, child-friendly facilities, or even sufficient space in the room for one. Putting two adults and a child in a room with only a double bed is unreasonable. What is particularly unacceptable is that they disclose important limitations only **after** you make a non-refundable booking. They emailed afterward to say that they could not provide a crib and could not clean the room daily. During our eight-night stay, housekeeping cleaned the room only once. Had this information been provided before booking, I would have chosen another hotel immediately. The coffee service is also bizarre. The coffee machine is switched off at midnight and does not reopen until 7:00 a.m. This makes no sense for an airport/traveler-oriented hotel, where guests may arrive late, leave early, work overnight, or simply need coffee before an early departure. The staff were rude and unhelpful, which made an already disappointing stay worse. There are better options nearby, including BPSK next door and other neighboring hotels. Do not book here if you need adequate space, reliable housekeeping, a crib for a child, basic hospitality, or transparent information before paying for a non-refundable reservation. Especially for travelers from the U.S. or Canada, this may feel like a major drop in expected hotel standards.

Perfect hub for exploring Tokyo! We stayed in one of the rooms with the kitchenette and it was so spacious for Tokyo!

Everything you need in a clean compact space

The hotel was very clean, central and the washing machine in the room made our stay even more convenient!

Struttura nuova, posizionata bene, bella e moderna, colazione mista ma un po scarsa, camera con scrivania bella e spaziosa per gli standard giapponesi, peccato che non puliscano la camera giornalmente ma puoi chiedere solo un cambio di biancheria da bagno e svuota cestino.

Il sistema d’aerazione, appena esci dalla camera c’è odore di cibo della cucina dalla mattina alla sera.

The staff was very nice, the localisation of the hotel was great.

The rooms were stinky. We needed to change the first room because our sofa was stained - the second room also had a stained sofa. But, the worst was the smell. The rooms smelled like old second-hand clothes and in the toilets, there was constant smell of sewage. It was hard to enjoy our stay with this smell.

Been there twice during my stay so I could try it twice. Very good rooms with washing machines, haven’t use them but they were available. The first room I had had a little smell of sweat sometimes which was uncomfortable but besides that it was great ! The second room I had was pretty big compared to other hotels in Japan so great if you have big luggage. The decoration of the rooms makes them really cocooning I would say. Also the location is great.

Was a nice space larger than expected.

That there was cooking facilities in room as left an smell from previous guest, extra charges for housekeeping and checking in an hour early even though it was requested and the room was ready.

Yuko was amazing, she helped us so much when we stayed there! She went above and beyond and is super friendly! The hotel itself is super close to Shinjuku hustle and bustle but just far enough to not be noisy. The room and hotel has great amenities! Even cleansing oil, face wash, lotion and face milk for the girls!

The air conditioning at certain settings did leak but at higher temperatures it was fine.

Ich habe mein Ladekabel plus Adapter im Zimmer vergessen und habe mehrmals versucht, das Hotel zu kontaktieren. Hier habe ich leider bis dato noch immer keine Rückmeldung erhalten beziehungsweise auch diesen Stecker nicht retour bekommen. Das ist leider sehr sehr schade.

Really clean and comfy stay! The washing machine in the hotel was such a lifesaver, especially with the summer heat. Being able to do laundry whenever you want is such a small but amazing perk. Staff were also super accommodating, they happily let us keep our luggage at the hotel after check-out so we could explore one more spot before heading to the airport.

la lavasciuga in camera e' stata veramente molto comoda rifrescare i vestiti in questo perodo afoso. L'angolo cottura con frigo e microonde sono risultati essenziali con un familiare celiaco. I prodotti del bagno, phon incluso erano di qualità. Anche i letti erano veramente confortevoli. Non ultimo la metro a 200mt e' risultata fondamentale per gli spostamenti.

La spazio per il wc era un po' sacrificato. Un po' rumorosa la stanza per il transito di ambulanze.

Dachterrasse / rooftop war zu unserem gesamten Aufenthalt nicht benutzbar und gesperrt. Die tolle angepriesene Dachterrasse war eigentlich ein Grund für unsere Buchung in diesem Hotel.

Location was close to subway but at the same time it is close to red light district. Having washing machine was nice.

They don’t provide daily cleaning, which is okay as they offer daily towel change and take out garbage (u just have to inform them before 11am if you want them to do it). If you stay more than 7 days they will provide cleaning. In our case we stayed 10 nights and cleaning was done very poorly sheets were not changed (they only made the bed), it was not vacuumed and it seemed like they only rinsed the shower and sink instead of cleaning it. I complained to them about it and they did proper cleaning afterwards but it shouldn’t have been like that in the first place. When I asked them they said that the housekeeping did change the sheets the first time but if they did do it how did my hair and a small stain I made with my make up powder was still there…

東新宿站只是2分鐘步程，樓下已有小型Aeon和Lawson, 最重要是可以在房內洗衣和乾衣，大讚！

לא יצא לנו יותר מידי להשתמש במתקנים של המקום היינו שם לקצר. אבל ממש אהבנו שיש מכונת כביסה וייבוש בתוך החדר!!

The hotel was nice and very clean. It was very convenient to have the washing machine in the room so we could wash our clothes. Staff was very helpful in assisting us with navigating the local transit.

Super clean, nice and quiet but still close to everthing in Shinjuku and super close to multiple train lines. Staff were very kind and also really helpful with questions and also forwarding on our luggage. Free umbrellas to use during the stay and also coffee machine and ice cold water available in the foyer. Room was spacious and had everything we needed

Location was good, but the hotel felt a bit impersonal and the staff not as warm as other hotels during my trip.

If we had two rooms as large as what my boys had it would have been more pleasant. The lady at breakfast was lovely, a saving grace of this property. But overall we didn't really like anything here.

This property was disappointing to us and we wouldn't not stay here again. The staff were ok, but not particularly friendly (apart from the lady at breakfast, she was lovely and so energetic). The room was disappointing. We had a connecting room, our teen boys in one and us in the other. The larger room had been made up with 2 twin beds, the smaller room had the double bed, which made no sense to us. Our room was so small we had to keep our suitcases in the little shared hall/entry between the rooms. The bed was awful, the side I slept on was broken and had a big depression right under where your back is, it caused intense back pain. The pillows are awful. We are home now and my back is still incredibly painful. The aircon in the room the boys were in didn't work well and the room was hot a lot of the time. The facilities in the room were odd - our room had two spoons, no other cutlery. The boys room had forks and knives x 2, but no spoons. The towels were so old, thin and flimsey. I think it shows a lack of attention to detail, or maybe a lack of money/investment in upkeep. The reception staff were not helpful. When we asked for directions to the closest train station after arrival we were sent the wrong way entirely. They always acted like guests were wasting their time - we watched their interactions with other guests, they were the same with everyone we saw. We would not recommend this hotel at all and would not stay again. This is our 3rd trip and we're coming again next year, but we won't be staying here.

Adorei ter a máquina de lavar disponível no quarto e tb uma mini cozinha com tudo que precisamos para estadias de curta duração. Embaixo tem duas lojas de conveniência bem próximas Lawson e Family Mart, o que tb foi excelente.

A localização é ok, mas a maior parte dos ptos turísticos fica a mais ou menos 40 - 50 min de distância de transporte público, então precisa se organizar, mas não nos atrapalhou.

We had a great stay at Tokyu Stay Shinjuku. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the train station and the heart of Shinjuku, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help.

The only areas for improvement would be the bedding and window coverings. The blankets could be more comfortable, and the lack of blackout curtains meant the room became very bright from around 5:00 a.m., which made it difficult to sleep in.

My family of 14 had a pleasant time at Tokyu Stay Shinjuku Eastside, and the residential twin was very roomy and spacious for 2 people. We love having the washing machine in the room, and in the lobby provide they all the toiletries you need during your stay. I also love the tea bags provided by the elevator. I the train station for the pink and brown line being only 5 minutes away.

The hotel is right next to the red light district, I knew that before booking and in the morning you may see a few people passed out in the middle of the street.

Clean and provide convenient amenities. Like the ideas of washing machine inside the room.

Staff cannot help with the luggage, I believe it’s their policy.

Excellent location, freindly staff and room exceeded my expectations. Having a washer\dryer was fantastic as we have two small children.

This was my first time staying in a lower-star rated hotel, however given that this had set some assumptions in my mind - I was extremely satisfied with our stay. While I would normally stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel, I would indeed stay here again.

L'hôtel est très bien placé pour profiter de Tokyo et bien équipé. Le personnel est agréable et le petit-déjeuner, testé une fois, est bon. La machine à laver dans la chambre est appréciable.

La chambre a plein de gadgets mais dispose de peu de place et de rangement pour les valises et habits. Le futon au bout de quelques jours n'était pas confortable.

צוות נהדר. אדיב, דובר אנגלית רהוטה, יש עזרה מצידם לכל בקשה ושאלה. מקצועיים ומנוסים ברמת 5 כוכבים. מיטות מצויינות. חדרים מפנקים. שקטים מאד למרות שהמיקום מרכזי. המון פינוקים על הדרך בחינם. לובי מקסים ונעים לשבת בו עם מכונת קפה ותה בחינם. בהחלט נחזור!
